Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Banda Unió Musical De Torrent | Banda Unió Musical De Torrent | Spanish wind orchestra from Torrent (Valencia) founded in 1973 by [a6086302]. It was the joint of Asociación Musical “La Clásica” and Banda de Música “Patronato De Juventud Obrera”. Also Junior orquestra since 1982, string section and chorus section since 1995. |

Search | Add | 5 | Funky Monkey 141 | DJ, Producer, from Malta, born 14 July 1998. Owner of [l=141 Records]. Ever being in love with music, he began to study Althorn and piano getting great results. He was only 14 when he started finding his best musical expression through electronic music, and so he started to DJ. He’s also a producer, a job he considers different from that of a DJ, indeed the studio activity is based on a detailed research of updated sounds. Synth and drum-machine are some of his passions which he cannot help but use, considering essential the need of the hardware. At the age of 17 he launched his first single, “Back In Town”, which is part of his upcoming debut album The BIGinning. Funky Monkey was in the proses of signing a record deal, but since he refused to give a genre to his Tracks, the deal was not accepted. Therefore this meant that despite the music was accepted and up to all standards with the label’s releases because the music was not marketed in a specific genre it got rejected. In today’s society and social inclusion do music genre help? and 1st of all do we rely need to put music and art in boxes? With this mindset he started questioning why was he trying to sign himself with a label that has a boxed vision for music. This was the star of the 141 Records, seeing music as art irrespective of the genre. Another single from the album, "The BIGinning" was released in September 2017, along with its music video. This single, with Russian born artist Abel Nesian, is titled Robustus. Funky Monkey is also the producer for: Oxygyn, REA, Iviè Skies along side other artist and other side project. Funky Monkey's latest single "Let It Fly" ft. Katia Abela and Maria Ellul, with is part of the 141 universe.

Search | Add | 5 | Charles Skilton | Charles Sanford Skilton | (b. August 16, 1868 Northampton, Massachusetts – d. March 12, 1941 Lawrence, Kansas) was an American composer and professor of music. A leading member of the American "Indianist" movement, Skilton tried to create a "genuine", national American music by borrowing melodies and rhythms from Native American songs, in the same way that some Classical European composers let themselves be inspired by the traditional folk music of their own countries. Skilton received his Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in 1889. From 1891-1893, he studied music at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin. Afterwards, he taught music at colleges in North Carolina and New Jersey, until moving to Kansas in 1903, where he served as Dean of the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas from 1903-1915 and continued to teach organ, theory and music history afterwards. In 1915, a Winnebago student, George LaMère a.k.a. Chief Ho-ton-ga, awakened Skilton's interest in Native American music. Based on traditional Native American melodies LaMère shared with him, Skilton composed "Two Indian Dances" for string quartet, two pieces called "Deer Dance" and "War Dance" that he later used as parts of his four-movement "Suite Primeval," and three "Indianist" operas. |

Search | Add | 5 | Stephanie Staples | Stephanie Staples has spent half her life captivating audiences with her rich, dynamic, and soothing voice. Passionate and expressive, Stephanie has the keen ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences. Her strong stage presence and down to earth nature enables her to communicate, entertain, and inspire. Stephanie has been involved in music ever since she was a little girl, first participating in musical theatre and studying vocal performance under the direction of three different vocal coaches. She began singing professionally at age thirteen, appearing at music festivals, conferences, churches and other venues. A gifted songwriter, Stephanie has recorded six self-produced albums. The first, Breathe on Me—an easy-listening acoustic album with soul-searching lyrics—was released in 2001 and again in 2003 to include two additional songs. Her second project, Face to Face was released in 2006, and Journey Home followed in 2007. Over the years, Stephanie has been privileged to work with (and learn from) some of the best musicians in the business, including Grammy Award-winning guitarist Bill Hatcher (Henry Mancini, Luciano Pavarotti), Mike Pachelli, and Ronnie Ciago. Hatcher has been a consistent contributor on all six of Stephanie’s projects, including her latest release, Interlude. Each of Stephanie’s albums has a unique sound but all portray the same quality: genuineness. Over the years many listeners have commented that her albums are “soothing” and “an experience.” This quality can’t be faked—Stephanie has faced the darkness, having passed through suffering and hard times, and she pours the full depth of her experiences into her music, taking the listener on a journey with her through the dark times—yet always in the presence of true peace and redemption. Sing Over Me (2010), is an eclectic album, with each song having a distinct flavor, prominently featuring Latin, organic, and classical elements along with creative percussion and strings (cello, violin, upright bass). This diversity of sound centers upon a single theme—that of learning to accept life’s uncertainties and discovering peace. In 2013 Stephanie released a Christmas record, Emmanuel. Stephanie has traveled across the United States and all the way to China to share her music. Her long list of credits include festivals, retreats, universities, schools (elementary, middle, and high schools), churches, conferences, campus ministries, multiple centers for disadvantaged youth/inner city ministries, military bases, and shelters for the homeless. She has performed before 20,000 at New Zealand’s Parachute Music Festival, joining Third Day’s Mac Powell for a powerful rendition of the duet, “God of Wonders,” has made many trips to Brooklyn, New York to minister at Teen Challenge, an organization founded by David Wilkerson to help the addicted, and has opened for a variety of artists including Third Day, Tammy Trent, Newsong, and Jaci Valasquez. Her passion to encourage and bring light and joy to people has been a motivating force in continuing her musical journey for over a decade. Stephanie currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Erik Rostad, daughter Scotlyn Naomi, and two fur children, Java and Edward.

Search | Add | 5 | Fraser Gange | Fraser Gange-Adams | Scottish baritone, Fraser Gange was born in Dundee, Scotland, in 1886. He died in Baltimore in 1962 at the age of 76. By 1906 he had made his London debut at Queen's Hall. In 1917 he married the Welsh soprano Amy Evans, forming a personal and artistic union which would last for the rest of his life. Gange began his recording career during the first World War, cutting his first records for English Columbia in 1915 while still a soldier in uniform. All told, 29 songs were recorded for English Columbia; they are now quite rare. In May 1918, however, the HMV house publication "The Voice" announced Gange's switch to HMV. In 1920 Fraser Gange and Amy Evans undertook a remarkable joint tour of Britain, Australia, and New Zealand--some 187 concerts in all!
