Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

This Texas country artist has been performing starting at the early age of 5 years old and hasn't left the stage since. Madison started as a competitive dancer, and made her way into singing and acting. She attended a performing arts high school where her passion for music continued to grow while performing all over the U.S. with the Singing Girls of Texas. Madison made her way as a solo artist singing at opry's as a child, to the Lincoln center in New York, as well as singing in various Texas country bands all around Texas and Colorado. She has sung in bands opening up for Turnpike Troubadours, John Michael Montgomery, Deana Carter, Sam Riggs, Johnny Rodriguez, Kimberly Dunn, Jack Ingram and many more. Her passion for music expanded into songwriting, and she is now singing and writing her own music. Madison has had many influences starting with Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline to Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert. She has stuck with her home grown roots and has continued to keep that classic country sound. Her sweet and upbeat personality along with her angelic vocals will blow you away when watching her perform. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | OLSK | OLSK is a musical project oriented toward dark and minimal techno, created in 2015. I previously worked on a psychedelic project, namely "The Karaganda Project", with already a 5 tracks full-on EP early 2014, and a full length, 8 tracks techno LP released in march 2015 on speed sound records, before creating a new project dedicated to techno: [a5136834]'s first EP: No pun intended, was released by subwoofer records. five subsequents EP have been released by NG records, Oxytech recordings, Viral digital Outbreak and Hexagon Recordings. Now renamed OLSK, my project ventures into a mix of darker sounds and melodic content. As a live act, OLSK likes to combine loops from already released tracks with sounds from hardware synths and drum machine, all of this controlled from an octatrack sampler, changing those tracks into a dynamic live set. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Marios Joannou Elia | Marios Joannou Elia | Composer and artistic director of Cypriot origin, born 19 June 1978. Elia first studied composition with Adriana Hölszky at the Salzburg Mozarteum and with Klaus Huber at the University of Music in Basel. He then studied musicology at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In 2004, inspired by the Aristotelian polyaesthetic conception, he developed the concept of 'Polymediality'. He was awarded a PhD from the University of Southampton in 2010, supervised by the British composer Michael Finnissy. Elia’s international breakthrough came in 2011, with the première at Mannheim's Central Square of the one-hour multimedia symphony Autosymphonic, performed by the spectacular combined forces of the SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden and Freiburg, the SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart, Stuttgart State Opera Children’s Chorus, 80 automobiles of all types and eras ‘played’ by 120 young musicians, Xavier Naidoo and Söhne Mannheims! According to a study by the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Autosymphonic achieved a TV/media audience of nearly two billion. Since then, Elia has been widely accepted as an innovative mastermind of contemporary culture and has attracted the attention of the mass media. The Südwest Presse wrote: ‘Monumentalist: Elia is considered in the music world to be the man for monumental events’, while The New York Times, Deutsche Welle, Reuters and ARD – among others – have also praised his work. Even before this, his compositions had been regularly performed throughout Europe, Asia and America – his 80-minute opera Die Jagd (2008), for example, was praised for its ‘idiosyncratic sound worlds’ (Die Welt). Elia’s oeuvre of more than 70 pieces to date is multifaceted not only for the diversity of its stylistic musical genres but also for the variety of its intended performance venues. It includes works for opera houses and concert halls – for example, the Berlin Philharmonie and the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, and the state opera houses of Hannover, Stuttgart and Skopje, as well as unusual venues, such as Salzburg Airport and Mirabell Gardens, the Transparent Factory of Volkswagen in Dresden and the eight-storey building of the Ministry for Science and Culture of Lower Saxony. Renowned orchestras, ensembles and soloists, such as the Sinfonietta of the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Recherche, Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble and the Austrian Ensemble for New Music have performed his works. Elia has been awarded prestigious international prizes, including the Lutoslawski and the Serocki Awards in Warsaw (2004 and 2008), the Edison Denisov Prize in Moscow (2007), the Luciano Berio Prize in New York (2010), the BMW Prize in Munich (2005) and the Gold Apple of FAMAB for Germany’s best innovative public event (2012). Besides his activity as a composer, Elia has worked as the artistic director of large-scale projects and innovative polymedia events, including the European Capital of Culture initiative (2013–15), the Highlight Celebrations for the Invention of the Car (2009–12), described by The Huffington Post as ‘one of the world’s more remarkable symphony concerts’, and the Tallest Church in the World (2013–15). |

| Search | Add | 5 | Little Jack MacDonald | Little Jack (1887 – 1969) was raised in Judique, NS by Annie MacMaster MacDonnell, the wife of his mother’s brother, Allan “Tal”. Raised in this culturally rich area, Little Jack was exposed to many fine fiddlers and the Gaelic language. As a youngster learning the culture, Jack attempted to construct a fiddle from a wooden cigar-box. Seeing such an interest, Jack’s foster father built a half-sized instrument for him, and thus was the beginning of Jack’s fiddling career. Jack spent many of his years away from Cape Breton due to work and lived in Montreal, New England, Northern Ontario, Windsor Ontario, and Detroit Michigan. He was known for his traditional style, attention to detail, excellent bowing and cuttings, and precise position work which lent themselves to his excellent expression of difficult pastoral airs. With such dedication, he has been described as “The Bard of Scottish Fiddling.” His styled is exampled in his eight recordings, most on 78 discs. His personal motto with regards to Cape Breton fiddle, appears in the book the “Cape Breton Fiddler” as “music must have soul to make it worthwhile.” | |

Couperus' werk omvat allerlei uiteenlopende literaire genres. | Search | Add | 5 | Clifford Douglass | Clifford Douglas | Bandleader Clifford (Boots) Douglas was born in Temple, Texas, probably on September 7, 1908. Douglas, known as one of the finest Texas jazz bandleaders of his era, recorded and toured throughout Texas during the big band or Texas swing heyday of the 1930s. He began experimenting on the drums at age fifteen. He played in Central Texas before moving to San Antonio, where he got his start on the emerging jazz scene. Douglas began by accompanying Millard McNeal's Southern Melody Boys; he played his first show at Turner's Park, San Antonio, in 1926. After earning a reputation as a fine drummer and musician, he formed his own outfit, which he named Boots and His Buddies. Although highly eclectic in style, the ensemble was quite successful. The band concentrated most of its energies on playing in Texas, but made forays into surrounding states as well. Although Boots and His Buddies were not famous in New York or other eastern cities, the group garnered a large following in its home region. In 1935 Bluebird signed the band, which cut forty-two sides for the label between 1935 and 1938, including the songs "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Blues of Avalon." After reaching a pinnacle of success in the 1930s the band steadily declined in popularity. Douglas called it quits, and in 1950 packed his belongings and headed to Los Angeles. He continued to play part-time, but his job for the county government replaced music as his primary source of income. By the 1970s he had dropped out of the public eye, and he has since faded into obscurity. The specific date and place of his death are not known. Social Security Death Records do list a Clifford Douglas who was born on September 7, 1906, in Texas and died on October 27, 2000, in Los Angeles |

| Search | Add | 5 | Tiny Hueman | iny Hueman is a five piece indie rock band from Philadelphia, PA. The group was initially formed in December, 2016 by Dustin Miller and Richie Hollahan, while the two began writing music in Hollahan’s basement during the cold winter months. After self-recording and releasing their demo ‘Growing Bones’, Miller and Hollahan quickly realized they had something special going, and decided to book time at the Headroom Studios in Philadelphia (Hop Along, Kississippi, The Districts). After writing five songs, they enlisted Dustin’s cousin Kevin to play drums on what would become their studio debut ‘Shallow’. The band performed on Philly’s largest FM alt-rock station, Radio 104.5 on the day of Shallow’s release, and has continually played the north east (Philly, Brooklyn) to packed crowds. In June 2017, the band officially added three new members - Kevin Miller, Vinny Vaccaro, and Josh Halberstadt to solidify their lineup. Tiny Hueman has since recorded their sophomore EP ‘Drift’ at The Headroom Studios, engineered/produced by Kyle Pulley of Thin Lips, released on November 24, 2017. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Charles Carnelison | May 24, 1947-August 22, 2021 Bluegrass preacher Charley Carnelison grew up in Hollister, Missouri, and was living in Springfield when he began his recording career. When he was eighteen, he joined Jack Keithley's band, the Ozark Country Boys, before forming a duo with Johnny Holt a few years later. Carnelison and Holt played on the radio locally in the Branson area, and recorded together over the course of several years. Carnelison's signature song is a gospel tune called "20-20 Vision," which bears a striking similarity to a secular heartsong recorded by Gene Autry way back in 1954 (and more famously in a bluegrass arrangement by Jimmy Martin) though he say he copyrighted his own version in 1967, first recording it in 1972. Mr. Carnelison cut several albums and published a collection of bluegrass gospel songs as well as a book of regional Ozark folklore. Eventually he quit performing due to hearing loss, but Carnelison and his band 20-20 Vision were still performing locally well into the 21st Century, with a presence on Facebook and podcasting as well. | |
