Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Budweisers | A band from Turón (Asturies) very influenced by the Ramones sound. With just one EP released on No Tomorrow Records in 1998, The Budweisers from Asturias (Spain) were a very short-lived band (wrongly considered a parallel act of The Feedbacks, with whom they shared 2 band members) but have however remained favorites among the 90’s punkpop lovers crew. Fast forward 20 years and they’re back as if only 5 minutes had passed, delivering a second EP that sounds just as if it had been recorded a week after their now classic “My Girlfriend’s A Bonehead”. 4 solid gold melodic punkrock tracks just as perfect and sticky as you might wish.

Search | Add | 5 | Zainab Majid | Zainab Majid, was born in 1936 from a pakistani parentage. She was a student of Raffles Girls' School and was a nurse at the School Health Institute. In the mid 1950s, Zainab had participated in a local talentime and had won the first placing. Zainab who was capable in singing English and malay songs was also an expert in hindustani and tamil songs. She was then offered to make a recording to sing malay songs with the hindustani beat which was very popular in the 1950s. During the recordings, Zainab was accompanied by Ahmad Jaafar Orchestra and Ahmad Wan Yet Orchestra on different recording dates. Most of the songs that were recorded were mainly cover songs from the popular hindi films. It was believed that the lyrics were mostly written by the singer S.Hamid. Among her popular songs were Kau Dihatiku, Kechantikan and Kita Bersama. Zainab also sang duet with Razak Majid in songs such as Alam Impian and Penggoda Hati. Beside singging hindustani beat, Zainab also did a Rock n' Roll tune which called Siapa Dia. Soon she became the competitor with established singer like R.Azmi who was famous in singing the same genre. Competition was seen when both sang the same song called Sampaikan Salam. In the early 1960s, Zainab had joined the all chinese girls band called The Blue Belles. The group which was formed in 1959, decided to have another singer into the band. Zainab Majid will always be remembered of her part in contributing malay songs in hindustani tune in the mid 1950s.

Search | Add | 5 | Romanças | Romanças were one of the most important groups in the Portuguese Folk movement, alongside others such as Vai de Roda or Brigada Victor Jara. The group was formed in 1986 and consisted of Pedro D'Orey (Guitar), Fernando Pereira (Braguesa and Voice), José Barros (Cavaquinho, Braguesa, Mandolin and Voice) and João Ramos (Violin and Flute), all musicians with extensive experience in other projects related to traditional music and beyond. In 1988 they publish their first album entitled "Romanças", which has the most known theme "Salsa Verde". This work already denotes, in the group, an attempt to escape a certain conventionalism installed in other groups of the kind. It is not a group that limits itself to recreating traditional music, but advances to its own compositions; although influenced by traditional music (but also with the assumption of several European Folk influences, mainly Irish). In 1991 they released their second long-term work entitled "Monte da Lua". On this record, the Romanças' effort to leave the corset to which some groups in this area are subject is already more visible. In "Monte da Lua" there are themes like "Salsaparilha", "Trigueirinha", "Monte da Lua", "Xula" and several traditional ones like "Homem Rico", "Saias de S.João" and "D.Varão". The band does several shows in Portugal and even tours in France and Ireland, playing with some of the great names in the European Folk scene, although their elements never really became professional in music, with the exception of Barros. Due to internal differences, José Barros leaves the band and goes to one of the formations of the Ronda dos Quatro Caminhos, at the same time that João Ramos starts to accompany the Quadrilha in live shows, a band of which he will later be a full member. Almost reported as extinct, Romanças will release a third album entitled "Azuldesejo" in which José Salgueiro (ex-Trovante), Fernando Molina, João Luís Lobo and José Carias collaborate.

Search | Add | 5 | Wyser | Henry Lee Robinson | Wyser is a rapper from Hunters Point in San Francisco, California. Henry Robinson aka Budwyser (or Wyser) was born on June 17, 1967. Budwyser got his name in 1990 after a rapper by the name of The Millard from Sunnydale Bayview. The Millard was the main insperation in Budwyser's name and was rapping and representing for Hunters Point at the time. Budwyser was so inspired in the rapper that he had a nickname for him and would simply call him "Miller" (like the Miller Lite beer) and would later called himself "Budwyser" King of the Rappers (like the Budweiser beer). At the the time, Budwyser and The Millard were battle rapping and dissing each other as a friendly competition and would go back and forth at each other, freestyle after freestyle until eventually The Millard started to promote Budwyser at shows while still dissing him. From there the name Budwyser took off all over the Hunters Point section. In 1991, Budwyser started getting on the radio 106 KMEL FM with Evan Luck and was on "The Battles Of The Rappers" several times. Later that year, Budwyser released his very first E.P. entitled "Life As A Nigger" in which the E.P. was rediscovered years later on the internet and it's now considered an "Unknown Classic" and was featuring another Hunters Point native by the name of DarRace Branner. A very rare cassette tape and it is extremely difficult to find. At the time of the EP release, Budwyser and a childhood friend by the name of Christopher Matthews who is now known as Black C of the legendary group RBL Posse had bought studio equipment and beat machines at a local Pawn Shop. At the time, Black C was the DJ, Budwyser and other Hunters Point natives name T-Lowe and his brother Bay Bay were the rappers. In 1992, Budwyser, Bay Bay and DarRace started working on there first official album entitled "You Can't Fade Me" under the name "The Product". It's considered a "Frisco Classic" in the Bay Area. It has songs like "You Can't Fade Me", "Bitches & Cops" & "Darling, Darling Baby" in which became underground classics. The album features T-Lowe and Black C & Mr. Cee of RBL Posse. The album was produced by T.C. who would gone on to produces classic albums for Totally Insane, I.M.P., Cold World Hustlers, RBL Posse, Herm Lewis, S-I-C, A.T.C., T-Gunn, Dre Dog aka Andre Nickatina, Rappin' 4-Tay, 11/5, Guce, just to name a few. Both projects "Life As A Nigger" and "You Can't Fade Me" are now extremely difficult to find and it's now collectable items. Budwyser took a 20 year break but he is now back in the studio and ready for a cameback on a new album called "Haters Come & Go" for the summer 2016 under the name "Wyser". |

Search | Add | 5 | Lily Gale | Lily Gale | Lily Gale is a Dutch music producer known for her energetic pounding symphonic hard trance. Her musical journey started in 1998, where she hosted a weekly show at a Dutch radio station, where she played various music. Around 2002 she developed an interest in electronic trance music. During her early musical career she became acquainted with several DJ’s and producers, with whom she started producing music and playing records. This was the foundation from where she developed many contacts in the dance scene. Always inspired by modern art, Lily Gale combines different art forms to her music in the widest sense of electronic dance music. Her vision encompasses a mixture of symphonical, progressive, avant-garde electronic dance music along the lines of goa, techno and trance. She feels that there must be a tale to be told and emotions to be felt. Deep rounded kicks and basslines pull the audience into the storyline while chapters emerge layer by layer working through moments of void, shrouded cosmic mysteries and ultimately fulfilling climaxes. Meanwhile her passion for modern arts took her around Europe where her art was exhibited in many renown places in Amsterdam and Brussels. Often she made her paintings available for non-profit charity organisations dedicated to help families and children. In 2009 she received the honorable Diploma of Excellence Award from leading global art organisation Artoteque for her work. Since 2021 Lily Gale has her own label named Star Vision Records for her more trance oriented work. With her behind the scenes experience around emerging artists & labels, knowhow in music production, distribution and marketing it’s a natural step in her musical endeavours. Her harder techno and industrial productions can be found on labels like Blackly Beyond Records. |

Even before this young age she had a very keen interest in photography and art but not until she moved to London was she able to immerse herself in an environment where she was able to flourish and expand her creativity She drew inspiration from the eclectic architecture of London. This theme continues into her current works, which draws a striking contrast between hard architecture and softer humanity. Her work had developed artistically and shows a distinct abstract quality, which encompasses a variety of styles but still retains the unique and inimitable style that is characteristic of her work. If one word were to be used to epitomize Archer work it would be dynamic. She consistently seek to challenge herself creatively to push her work forward therefore producing art, which is multi-faceted and versatile. Archer has worked in publicity studios, fashion rooms and as a freelance photographer for clubs, her photos had been used for cover, flyer in many underground music labels. Looking forward, Archer is seeking to expand her subjects, creating art, which had a broad appeal while incorporating her unique aspect.

Best remembered in India for penning the patriotic song "Saare jahan se achha". In neighbouring Pakistan though, Iqbal has achieved more fame for a different reason – he is regarded as the spiritual father of Pakistan, because it was on the basis of a 1930 speech that the two-nation theory was formulated. |

Recording ideas and images in sketchbooks has been his practice for over 30 years. By this means he has captured his responses to stimuli such as music, literature, science, and the world around him for reference, reflection, and subject matter. This tendency has been combined with a liking for components and an inventive urge for reuse, coupled with career training in manufacture of light. As a result Munro produces both monumental temporary experiential artworks as well as intimate story-pieces.
