Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Sacred Hour | Norwegian melodic hard rock band from Stange/Hamar. Sacred Hour were formed in 2008 by [a=Øyvind Håkonsen] (drummer for [a=Return (3)]) and was originally inteded to be a [a=Magnum (3)] cover band (hence the name Sacred Hour – a song off Magnum's 1982 album "[m=77821]") and as a project beside Return. The original line-up of Sacred Hour released the single "Lost Mind" in 2009, which were the beginning of writing their own songs. The line-up changed, three members were replaced, and the hard work for a full-lenght album began. With heavy influence by huge 80's rock bands like Whitesnake, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi etc. Sacred Hour build their music upon the main principles from the hit-maker decade the melodies and sing-along factor is the main thing for the band. The first album "Made In Pain" were released on January 25, 2013.

Search | Add | 4 | Сини Степів | Montreal's Syny Stepiv (Sons of the Steppes) are remembered today as pioneers of Ukrainian zabava music. Though Rushnychok broke onto the scene first, Syny Stepiv were a close second behind them, and many people considered the "Syny" a much more musically accomplished ensemble - in fact, possibly more accomplished than most all other zabava bands at the time! After their first few shows, it didn't take long for Syny Stepiv to gain acclaim as their audiences began admiring their musical talents and abilities, and also falling in love with their multi-harmony vocal style. The members of the group had each developed and honed these talents while previously playing and singing with various other ensembles - in many different genres of music: folk, rock, jazz and traditional ethnic. They each brought these talents and backgrounds to Syny Stepiv and, as a group, blended them to create a fresh and inspiring sound. As accomplished musicians, each member of Syny Stepiv was competent at a number of different musical instruments. In fact, the guys would regularly join other zabava and concert bands on stage as special guests or fill-in musicians. At the height of their popularity, Syny Stepiv would play an exhausting number of shows each year. In 1976 alone, they played functions in New York, Newark, Yonkers, Passaic, Parma, Rochester, Detroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, and Saskatoon! During their time together, Syny Stepiv released three albums that stand today as classics in the collective Ukrainian-Canadian music oeuvre. So esteemed were the band, that Ukrainian lyricists and songwriters would often submit musical works to the quartet with the chance hope that their songs could end up in Syny Stepiv's live or recorded repertoire! The members of Syny Stepiv: Adrian Alboshchy - Rhythm Guitar (v.II, & v.III) Taras Didus - Accordion Jaroslaw Gudzio - Rhythm & Lead Guitar (v.I, & v.III) Tino Papa - Drums Jaroslaw Workewych - Lead Guitar (v.I, & v.II) (Adrian Alboshchy & Tino Papa would later go on to play in Chornomortsi and Vechirnyy Dzvin.)

Search | Add | 4 | Last Joker | Last Joker was formed by Miguel Mega, Portuguese guitar player, in the late eighties in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil. In 1990 Last Joker recorded their first demo tape with the songs " Without You " , " Last Joker " , " Hold on Tight " and " Every Night " and started a career playing for eager crowds in the São Paulo state. Because of their musicality , stage presence and sold out concerts they got the attention of Metal Rock Records and recorded their first LP simply called " Last Joker " and toured Brazil supporting bands such as Sepultura, Angra, Dr. Sin, RDP among others. In the middle nineties the band broke up and Miguel Mega moved to LA and started a solo career and released around 10 instrumental solo cds and appeared on several compilations alongside Greg Howe (Howe II, Michael jackson, Maragold), Kiko Loureiro (Angra, Megadeth) among others . In 2014 Miguel Mega moved to the UK and regrouped Last Joker with singer Roddy B. (Avenger, Abbadon), guitarist Yves Martin, bassist Al Pringle and drummer Adam Proud and have just recorded their new cd release for Into the Limelight Records, Last Joker - Ulterior Motives and have released the video clip for the single " Kissed by the Lake". When the A&R scouts of Into The LimeLight Records listened to the new material it was clear that this was something different. Refreshing, fantastic rock songs, catchy and with a quality you may expect of these very experienced musicians. Reason to offer a contract straight away. Search | Add | 4 | Tim Smoove | Timothy L. Jones | Ex Gangster Rap Producer, Tim T-Smoove Jones, is a Christian Hip-Hop/Gospel artist from California. Born in Los Angeles, California Tim Jones had a love for music and singing by the age of seven. It was then that he began piano lessons and learning to play the drums at his local church. As a teenager, Tim took to rapping and competing with other local artists in the Sacramento California area where he mostly grew up. In his early 20s Tim signed to a gangster rap label out of the Oakland California Bay Area and began producing music for various artists and independent labels. Tim‘s life at this time became what he describes as empty, promiscuous and fast paced as he began fulfilling his dreams to be apart of the music industry. After losing close friends to tragic and untimely deaths, Tim returned to his faith in God through Christ Jesus and surrendered his musical gifts and talents to the Lord. It was then that Tim realized that his musical gifts were given to him from God and he then had a fiery passion to use his musical gifts and talents for God. Tim then began producing and releasing his own music projects and distributing over 30,000 units independently. Tim has produced music for multi platinum artists such as “spice one”, “silky fine”, and many others. He has also opened the stage for gospel artist Fred Hammond captivating the audience. Tim continues to live his dream and share his musical gifts and talents to the glory of God through Christ Jesus and is looking to promote and produce new Gospel talents. |

Search | Add | 4 | Jorge Eduardo Eielson | Jorge Eduardo Eielson (April 13, 1924 – March 8, 2006) was a Peruvian artist and writer. As an artist he is known for his quipus, a reinterpretation of an ancient Andean device, they are considered precursors of conceptual art. Eielson was born in Lima on April 13, 1924. His father died when he was seven years old so he was raised by his mother. At a young age he developed artistic tendencies: he played the piano, drew copiously and recited poetry. Eielson switched schools several times until at the end of his secondary education he met the anthropologist and writer José María Arguedas who introduced him to the artistic and literary circles of Lima as well as to the knowledge of the ancient civilizations of Peru.[2] Eielson started studies at the National University of San Marcos in 1941. He won the National Poetry Award three years later and the National Drama Award in 1948, when he also held a successful art exhibition at the Lima Gallery. In the same year, he traveled to Paris under a French government scholarship, in that city he exhibited at the Colette Allendy gallery before traveling to Switzerland thanks to a UNESCO scholarship. In 1951, he travels to Italy for a summer vacation and decides to settle permanently in Rome. During this period he wrote the collection of poems Habitación en Roma and two novels: El cuerpo de Giulia-No and Primera muerte de María. In the late 1950s, he abandoned avant-garde and resorts to using materials such as earth, sand and clay to sculpt in the canvas surface; at first he uses this technique to depict landscapes but gradually moves towards human figures represented through clothing of various kinds. In 1963 he started his first quipu, reinventing this ancient Andean device with fabrics of brilliant colors, knotted and tied on canvas. Eielson's quipus were exhibited in the 1964 Venice Biennale to wide acclaim[citation needed]. In the mid 1970s, he traveled to Peru where he devoted himself to the study of pre-Columbian art; during this period, the Instituto Nacional de Cultura (National Institute of Culture) published most of his poetry under the title Poesía escrita. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1978 for a lecture in New York.
