Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

A growing team: Serial Cut works alongside an ever-growing team of professionals, who specialize in different areas such as photography, design, motion-graphics and 3D design. Depending on the nature of a given project, different collaborators are chosen to give each piece a new dimension. Versatile projects: Big and small companies from arts and culture, fashion or entertainment industries are our primary clients; for each new project from a given client, we like to change the look and feel of the design. Type reinforces the concept Image and type are a great combination that we like to use on all the projects we work on. Typography plays an important role in the end product. Visual culture: Inspiration comes from current and past decades, but we always review it and renew it, bringing it into today's perspective with an actual look. Surpass expectations Our aim is to go beyond what's in our minds and in our clients' minds when we start a project, to take the challenge a little further both in terms of technique and of concept, and to always end up with a contemporary and fresh result. | Search | Add | 4 | Wilson Danilo | Wilson Danilo Medeiros de Jesus | Wilson Danilo Medeiros de Jesus, or simply Wilson Danilo, Born in Salvador, Bahia, died in 2013, on the eve of his 100th birthday, he was a radio / announcer, presenter, singer and composer. Owner of an extensive and accurate vocabulary, besides the powerful voice, he began his career in 1942, in Rio de Janeiro, as speaker of the speaker system known at the time as "bell mouth". At this same period he recorded his first work as a singer. A 78 rpm disc with the songs "A Canção de Friburgo (The Song of Friburgo)", of Antônio Caetano, and "Palhaço da Vida (Life's Clown) ", of César Cruz. Since then, he recorded several discs, among 78 rotations, singles, double singles and CDs. Danilo played tangos, boleros and MPB classics with impressive mastery. He alone gave the impression that there was an orchestra on the stage. In 1957, the illustrious character moved to Governador Valadares, in the eastern part of Minas Gerais, where he worked on "Mundo Melhor", "Educadora" and "Ibituruna" (the only three AM stations in the city at the time). In these radio stations, nowadays practically dead, Danilo did everything: he was a helper, a janitor, a sound engineer, an advertising salesman, a presenter and a director. In his popular program, he had one of the largest audiences ever in the region. He began the presentation of the hour with phrases and verses of his own. Something like: "Beautiful girl / from my city / my love for you / I want your happiness / my love / my good will ...". In the early sixties he recorded in a compact of 78 rotations the Afro drum "Só o ôme", written by the Bahia composer Edenal Rodrigues, also played by Noriel Vilella, from the legendary group Nilo Amaro & the Ebony Singers. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Chris Herriges | Began playing various musical instruments at age nine, at the gentle urging of artistic parents. First experience as guitarist with band in Junior High School - Gateway - kings of the roller rinks in hometown Eau Claire, WI. Shelved musical pursuits during college years for conventional career aspirations (BBA - University of WI, Eau Claire, 1986.) but became determined for career as national recording artist before graduation. Relocated to the Twin Cities and, after brief stint as an Office Coffee Services salesman, began full-scale plunge. (Voice lessons, extensive guitar practice, songwriting efforts.). First self-produced recordings were on 45 rpm vinyl: "Please You", "Sweet, True Companion" and the most successful of which - "Come What May" which, through independent promotion, garnered significant Midwest commercial airplay ("Top Pick", Midwest Music Journal.) and played all Summer long on Top-40 radio in Sioux Falls, SD. (1989) Lots of Midwest club dates followed, primarily in the Twin Cities. Most notably, a series of national openers at The Fine Line Music Cafe, Minneapolis, for Shawn Phillips, Kenny Rankin, and others. First full-length CD, Come What May, released 1990. Played live and recorded extensively throughout the 'Nineties with various bandmates. The Chris Herriges Project, with bassist Chris Shaw and drummer Chris Weinberger (later joined by guitarist Pete McCauley) saw significant success with a number of Rock Radio singles. "All Real Now" and "Long, Cold Road" (independently promoted) were added on commercial stations in places like Roanoke VA, Chatanooga TN, and Key West FL. (1993/94). "Don't Turn Me Away" written by Herriges' brother, Greg, made #104 on Album Network Magazine's national Rock Radio chart...due, in part, to a starred review (critical merit) in Billboard Magazine. (1994.) | |
