Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Layton Redell Zbornik, Jr. | Singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer, and radio personality. Born Layton Redell Zbornik, Jr., on August 26, 1940, in Albia, Iowa, to Layton Redell Zbornik, Sr. (1916-2003) and Edna Carrie (Green) Zbornik (1918-2003). While a student at Albia High School, Zbornik had a band called The Hot Rods in 1955, changing the name to Jerry Martin and The Pacers in 1956. The stage name Jerry Martin was taken from the comedy team Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. He graduated from Albia High School in 1958, then began touring as a full-time musician. His first recording, [m1224513], is generally regarded as the first rock 'n roll record to have been recorded and commercially released in Iowa. He signed to the Kansas City label [l349728] in 1959, with his first release for that label, [m1069802], recorded in Memphis with [a27518]’s band, according to a 1998 profile in the “Globe-Gazette” of Mason City, Iowa. That same article reported that his two other singles for the label were cut in Chicago. Zbornik retired the "Jerry Martin" moniker in 1961 after marrying and settling into a career in broadcasting, becoming known as radio personality King Zbornik. His on-air name originated during his time at WJIM in Lansing, Michigan, where he was named “King Jim” to fit the station’s call sign. He was broadcasting in Chattanooga by 1963, then was hired on to a station in Cincinnati, where he recorded [m3431168]. He's reported to have appeared on “The [a449852] Show” in 1966. By 1967, he had stepped away from the microphone to work as a broadcast operations manager in Nashville, Tennessee. He eventually moved back to his hometown of Albia, Iowa, where he designed and built radio station KLBA which went on air in November 1979. Zbornik started [a15579498], whose [l3892665] label released a record in September 1982 titled “The Last Great Debate,” a “break-in” style novelty lampooning Iowa gubernatorial candidates Terry Branstad and Roxanne Conlin. The B-side of that record featured edited clips of some of his work for [l349728]. He returned to school to take English courses in order to write a book, but went into teaching English instead. His final vocation was in that capacity at Nora Springs-Rock Falls High School near Mason City, Iowa, retiring from that career at age 63. Zbornik was inducted into the Iowa Rock ’n Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. In 1999, he released a CD retrospective on his FARm OUT! Label, while Iowa Public Television featured him with his own special, “Born to Rock.” He died on November 3, 2019. | |

The single gets an unexpected reception, surprising even the members of the group themselves, as it reaches the Top of the Lima Radio Stations. However, the group doesn't perform any concerts and all due to the lack of time of the members. That's why new songs were not on the air either. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Dagcenter-Pöbeln | DC-Pöbeln (or sometimes Dagcenterpöbeln, or the shorter DC-P) was conceived in the Swedish city of Örebro by "Guggi" & "17" in 1982. "Guggi" was an alias of Tommy Olsson and "17"was Johan Kugelberg. Apart from them there were no other members; merely collaborators. DC-Pöbeln played live twice, Johan was on stage on the first event, and Tommy on the other. Both concerts took place in museums. The single Bettan was recorded on tape and given to [a187017] in late 1983. In 1984 Lars started thinking about releasing the song as a single with the the gravedigger cut-up as B-side. Johan Kugelberg designed the sleeve with pictures of Bettie Page, and finally released as single in the fall of 1985 on [l16713]. "17" was not present on the recording of "Bettan" (though he assembled the material that appears on the B-side). Since both members moved frequently, recording sessions were sparse, there were 4-5 sessions between 1983 - 1994. Tommy and Johan didn't go to school together, they just happened to be in the same place at the same time with similar interests. They first met when Tommy was 16. There´s supposed to be a CD of the last session in 1994, but Tommy has never seen it or have the tape recording. This session was covering everything from Whitney Houston to Psychic TV with cocktail Hammond organ, bongos and guitars completely out of tune. | |
