Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Василий Семёнович Гроссман | Wassili Semjonowitsch Grossman | Vasily Semyonovich Grossman (Russian: Васи́лий Семёнович Гро́ссман; 12 December (29 November, Julian calendar) 1905 – 14 September 1964) was a Soviet writer and journalist. Born to a Jewish family in Ukraine, then part of the Russian Empire, Grossman trained as a chemical engineer at Moscow State University, earning the nickname Vasya-khimik ("Vasya the Chemist") because of his diligence as a student. Upon graduation he took a job in Stalino (now Donetsk) in the Donets Basin. In the 1930s he changed careers and began writing full-time, publishing a number of short stories and several novels. At the outbreak of the Second World War, he was engaged as a war correspondent by the Red Army newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda; he wrote first-hand accounts of the battles of Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk, and Berlin. Grossman's eyewitness reports of a Nazi extermination camp, following the discovery of Treblinka, were among the earliest accounts of a Nazi death camp by a reporter. There is some dispute over the extent of the state repression Grossman endured after the war. While he was never arrested, his two major literary works (Life and Fate and Everything Flows) were censored by the Khrushchev government as unacceptably anti-Soviet. At the time of Grossman's death from stomach cancer in 1964, these books remained unreleased. Hidden copies were eventually smuggled out of the Soviet Union by a network of dissidents, including Andrei Sakharov and Vladimir Voinovich, and first published in the West in 1980, before appearing in the Soviet Union in 1988. |

Search | Add | 2 | roskiewicz orchestra | roskiewicz orchestra is an audio art creation institution. All technical possibilities are used to create special music and audio result. We produce music for meditation, yoga, relaxation and binaural beats. We also produce concept albums with electronic music as well as experimental and danceable music. Numerous productions have been created under various project names in the last almost 30 years. The musical spectrum ranges across almost all genres. In order to implement various productions, three completely independent studio concepts have been set up in recent years, which enable the working methods of the last 60 years. There is an analogue studio in which the 60s and 70s are shown. Another working environment is for the 80's and 90's where digital synths and MIDI played a big role. The third concept is dedicated to the 2000s and is designed for purely virtual working methods. The whole orchestra in the laptop.

Search | Add | 2 | Le Jeu Des Dictionnaires | Le Jeu des Dictionnaires ("The Dictionary Game") was a renowned Belgian radio comedy show that aired daily between 5:15 and 6 PM on La Première public radio between 1989 and June 2011. It was hosted by [a=Jacques Mercier (2)] with [a=Virginie Svenson] for almost twenty years, with Véronique Thyberghien taking over in November 2008; [a=Alain Debaisieux] provided sound interventions with pre-recorded sample collages and live music during the broadcast. (The same team produced a more polemical humorous weekly radio program, La Semaine Infernale focused on current political news.) For each episode, a guest — Belgian artist, cultural celebrity, or public intellectual — would have to find a correct definition for an obscure French word out of four possible definitions. Some of the notable guests over the years include [a=Hugues Dayez], [a=Nathalie Uffner], [a=Eric De Staercke], [a=Aurélia Dejond], [a=Jean-Luc Fonck], [a=Gilles Verlant], and [a=Monsieur Météo]. Search | Add | 2 | Mannequin Porn | Bio on former label site: Formed by current and past Betty's Trash (Muffy, King James, Lady A, & Aunt Jackie) members in 2000, Mannequin Porn set out on their voyage to annoy the world with their etiquette of fashionable electro-rock goodness. Armed with keyboards, lipstick and a bad attitude, Mannequin Porn broke out onto the NYC electro rock scene ready to conquer all. In 2001 they delivered to the world the "One Plus One" EP! This instant basement make-out party classic offered commentary on almost every sub-culture and blunt verbal attacks on anyone who had angered Muffy or Aunt Jackie! Musically it offered an unique brand of electro-rock mixing punk, industrial, & gothic music over old school hip hop beats! Later that year Muffy and Aunt Jackie had a falling out and Muffy was kicked out of the band. So Jackie decided to give MP a makeover and she changed her name to "Veronica Void". In addition King James (who wrote all the music on "One Plus One") decided to step down as the MP songwriter to focus more on Betty's Trash. That left "Veronica" with all the vocal and songwriting responsibilities! The result was 2002's "Color By Numbers" EP which had a lackluster response from the press and MP fans. Shortly after the release of their second EP, Mannequin Porn was dropped from Princezz Ov Power and eventually broke up.

Search | Add | 2 | Lois Wann | Lois Wann (30 January 1912, Monticello, Minnesota — 23 February 1999, Bronxville, New York) was an American oboist and distinguished pedagogue, one of the first female musicians to hold principal positions at major US orchestras. Wann taught at the [l=Juilliard School] in New York between 1936 and her retirement in 1992. She began playing piano at six and later self-taught on oboe; after graduating from high school, Lois Wann studied both instruments in Los Angeles. In 1933, she relocated to New York and attended the [l=Juilliard School], graduating in 1936. In pre-war America, major orchestras still barred female instrumentalists from entering; thus, Wann began her career in a few all-women ensembles, such as the Orchestrette Classique and [a=Antonia Brico]'s New York Women's Symphony Orchestra. In the mid-1930s, Lois got her first position with the [a=San Diego Symphony]. In subsequent years, she served as the principal oboist with [a=Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra], [a=Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra], [a=New York City Ballet Orchestra], [a=Marlboro Festival Orchestra], and Chautauqua Symphony. Lois Wann regularly participated in the [l=Aspen Music Festival] between 1951 and 1957 and collaborated with many prominent chamber ensembles, including [a3466526], [a=Budapest String Quartet], [a=Juilliard String Quartet], and [a=The Cantata Singers] conducted by [a=Alfred Mann]. While primarily associated with early music repertoire, Lois Wann championed many contemporary works. In 1947, she premiered [a=Alberto Ginastera]'s Duo for flute and oboe with [a=Carleton Sprague Smith]. A few composers commissioned exclusive compositions for Wann, including [a=Darius Milhaud] with his Sonatina for Oboe and Piano (1954) and [a=Sam Morgenstern]'s five-movement Combinations for oboe & strings. She accompanied composer [a=Mieczyslaw Kolinski] in the recordings of [m=2963539] in 1959. Besides teaching at her alma mater, Juilliard, for over 55 years, Lois Wann held faculty positions at [l=The Mannes College Of Music] (1946–76), [l=Vassar College], Henry Street Settlement, and other institutions.

Search | Add | 2 | Fresh Baked DJs | David Falloon, Joseph Martin | The Fresh Baked DJs are a multi-media party, delivering a mix of dj’ing, live p.a., turntablism & video scratching. Cooking up a combo of loops, tracks, samples and scratches, of both audio and video, they’re always hard at work, live and in the studio. Whether it’s digging up classic & obscure video footage, busting loose on the faders or dropping that next big bassline, the Fresh Baked DJs are always firing up something funky! The Fresh Baked DJs are David Falloon and Joseph Martin. David “Sleepy Cuts” Falloon – Electrofunk Collective – Vancouver Dave has been addicted to scratch since he picked up his first set of turntables in ’04, and addicted to funk since his ears first heard it. Stuck in Saskatchewan with a pair of decks and a handful of beat up battle records, he chopped it up for fun; it wasn’t until he moved to Kelowna and hooked up with the Electrofunk Collective in ’06 that he made the move to performing live, cutting it up in the clubs and at parties. Dave has since taken his game to the next level by combining visual scratching with his turntablist skills, lighting up the screens and the speakers. Joseph Martin – Shambhala / Fractal Forest, Intimate – Vancouver Droppin’ tunes since ’98 and a Shambhala resident since ’04, Joseph has played many a memorable set in the legendary Fractal Forest. For 3 years he hosted The Shakedown radio show and with the Liquidbeat collective, helped to produce some of the B.C. interior’s most inspiring parties. His latest endeavour is managing the independent recording label, East Van Digital. While he loves to play it loose with the dance floor, he’s known for his obsessive music collecting and programming, creating and executing meticulous sets based on bpm and key structures; he can often be found in his studio organizing and editing thousands of samples and loops. In a live PA set, you can expect to hear him remixing on the fly, triggering samples, tracks, loops and adding live synth to the mix, blending elements of bassline, electro and fidget. |

Search | Add | 2 | Stefan Grainger | Stefan Grainger | At a very early age Stefan developed a passion for dance music but, it wasn't until he was 17 years old, and had discovered an event called Tangled in Manchester, that his passion led him down the road to the DJ booth. After watching DJ's week in, week out, in awe of what they did and how they did it, he took the plunge and invested in a pair of inexpensive belt drive decks on which he learned the fundamentals of beat matching and mixing. As the love for trance, house and the harder side of house grew, so did the need to upgrade his setup. After purchasing a shiny new pair of Technics 1210 mk2's Stefan secured a spot at the School of Sound Recording in Manchester where he learned new skills, and gained valuable insight into promotional management. After this, he then completed a Radio Production course with Mancat College to further his knowledge of the music business and was a semi-finalist in the National Superstar DJ Competition in 2004. Soon to follow were gigs at some of the big events of that time, notably, TOAST, SIN:ERGY, PUREFILTH, AFFINITY and FUSED. Also, under the management of Logical DJ Agency, he played regular 5 hour funky house sets at Bar Ca in Manchester. After an 8 year absence from the scene due to personal reasons, the love for dance music was still there... 2020 saw Stefan return to DJ'ing, but this time using the digital format. Posting regular trance and hard house sets to his SoundCloud, his audience began to grow at a quick rate and he has since featured on Wanted Underground Sounds birthday livestream as well as on JamJam Radio alongside the likes of Lab4 and HTE, where he reached an audience of thousands. In 2021 he played his first gig for the new hard dance brand Meltdarn in Barnsley, with whom he then went on to secure a residency with. Stefan entered the System Damage DJ competition and came a very commendable 2nd place which secured him a gig at their event in Leicester. Most recently in 2022, Stefan has been playing at gigs up and down the country alongside the likes of Tom Berry, General Bounce, Amber D, and many more playing everything from Trance through to Bounce. In 2023 Stefan has been working with brands such as Sundissential where he played a pre party livestream alongside Jon Bishob and Andy Farley. Stefan has also recently been made a member of the Pulse Promotions (Birmingaham) team as an advisor and graphic designer. Stefan also had his first collab track with Bass Jumper 'Alright' signed to Hi-Five Digital and reached number 1 in the Digital Tool Box charts. Stefan Grainger, a DJ to keep your eyes on, is a multi genre artist of obvious talent whose sets of house, trance and hard house are bursting with the best of classic, upfront, and often unreleased tracks. |
