Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Felicidades Banda Internacional Wiracocha. | |

His musical references can be found in the early 70s hard rock, prog rock and heavy metal, with a clearly distinguished low-end overdriven tone, technical ability and sense of musicality. Very controlled and tight in rhythm parts, with a sweet harmonic sense, in his solo parts he cleverly integrate techniques such as bends, hammer-on in combination with wha-wha, exploring the potential of the bass guitar. Originally known as Electric Dog Sex they gigged around Central and North London between 1987 and 1989 before changing their name to Delta Angel following much interest in their latest, more dance orientated demo. They signed to Profile following advice from One Little Indian that they were unable to sign them for six months or so due to their involvement with the Shamen - and that band's interest in Profile UK led them to believe that it would be a fruitful partnership. It wasn't. They recorded one album - Silhouette - which turned out to be a fair reflection of their live sound but were not given either the time or budget to really experiment in the studio. They didn't submit any further tracks to Profile. Vocals, Guitar, songwriting, programming and production: Dominic Peel Keyboards: Carol Hayward Bass: Mark Handley

| Search | Add | 6 | Ulysses Manso | Ulysses Melo Manso | Singer and songwriter born in Brasília (BR). He began his career in 2010 with the band Salzband, with which he achieved significant relevance on the Christian scene, presenting an alternative sound to the congregational music of the time. Hits such as Somos um (We Are One) and Meu Coração Te Pertence (My Heart Belongs to You) already indicated his inclination towards rock, but with intimate and vertical lyrics. In 2015, with the album Sine Cera, the band dared to rock even more, but still generated a connection with the public, as shown by the success of the songs Foi de Graça and Oceano. In 2017, the album Sonhar e Viver (Dreaming and Living) showed an even more mature sound, consolidating their position as one of the most relevant bands in the history of the scene. The first single Nunca Me Deixe Parar reached number 13 on the Viral 50 - Brazil playlist, raising public expectations even higher for the band's new phase. With the end of Salzband in 2017, the artist launched the band Amen Jr. alongside Carlos Bezerra, Gabriel Eubank and Gustavo Ferraz. The singles V E R and L U Z marked the beginning of this new chapter in his career, followed by the EP F U T U R O, Ep.1 . Until 2022, when the band released their long-awaited album Buraco No Tempo (Hole In Time). |

Detrick | Alice Detrick, born Alice Mulks and who for a time worked under the name [a=Janece Morgan], was born in Slaterville Springs, NY, on 17 July 1940 to Omar and Emma Mulks. She started performing country and rockabilly music professionally while a student at Ithaca High School, both as a solo artist and with the country band [a=The Tune Twisters (4)] of the Binghamton, NY area, with whom she played and sang regularly on radio stations WINR (Binghamton, NY) and WENE (Endicott, NY). Morgan's big break came at age 16, when she auditioned for [a=Dusty Owens] of the WWVA Jamboree and spent much of the summer of 1956 touring with him. It was Owens who gave her the stage name Janece Morgan, which he said came to him in a dream. Sometime after that tour, she dropped the alias and used her married name [a=Alice Detrick] as a performer and recording artist. She went on as an opening act for tours with [a=Loretta Lynn], [a=Roy Clark], [a=Charley Pride], and [a=The Charlie Daniels Band] and performed with [a=Lynn Anderson] at the Halogaland Country Music Festival in Norway. For 20 years Morgan was known as the “FMCA Sweetheart,” accompanying the Family Motor Coach Association conventions around the United States. In 1985 she was inducted into the New York State Country Music Hall of Fame. As Janece Morgan she recorded several tracks in the 1950s for the label [l=Marlee Record Co.] in Trumansburg, NY, mostly in the country and rockabilly styles. As [a=Alice Detrick], she had several releases including a single on [l=ABC Records]. She died on 22 September 2022 in Montour Falls, NY, at the age of 82. |

This theme continues into her current works, which draws a striking contrast between hard architecture and softer humanity. Her work had developed artistically and shows a distinct abstract quality, which encompasses a variety of styles but still retains the unique and inimitable style that is characteristic of her work. If one word were to be used to epitomize Archer work it would be dynamic. She consistently seek to challenge herself creatively to push her work forward therefore producing art, which is multi-faceted and versatile. Archer has worked in publicity studios, fashion rooms and as a freelance photographer for clubs, her photos had been used for cover, flyer in many underground music labels. Looking forward, Archer is seeking to expand her subjects, creating art, which had a broad appeal while incorporating her unique aspect.

| Search | Add | 6 | Kin Palo | Kin Palo is “Kin” as in “Family” and “Palo” as in “tree” or “branches.” Their music speaks to the ideas that we are all connected and have more similarities, than differences. We all have the same root desires, needs, and want for connection and are connected even in our differences. Kin Palo makes melodies that explore the waring dualities of human nature, both the dark and light side. Sonically they meddle in the darker side of melodies influenced by Explosions in the Sky, Nine Inch Nails, and Khalid to name a few. Amy Stroup is the lead singer & writer with collaborators from Canada, USA, & beyond. Following on the first album's success of being featured on dozens of television shows including Batwoman, Sense 8, Shannara Chronicles and more, Kin Palo is back with their sophomore work "Glory" featuring the single "Watch This" a collaboration with Night Panda (Dustin Atlas, Julietta) and Amy Stroup. Booming beats, fizzy bass, dark guitars color the albums as heard on "Invincible" and "For The Glory". "For the Glory" was penned by power the team Amy Stroup (Chaka Khan, Andrew Belle, Sugar & The Hi-Lows) and grammy nominated Rob Kleiner (SIA, Labrinth) and Mary Hooper in LA as a response to honoring the life of Kobe Bryant & his daughter. Look for “GLORY” the full length album 10/22/21. Singles “For the Glory” is out October 8th along with “Watch This” October 20th before the album drops October 22nd . | |

| Search | Add | 6 | SpiderSimpson | SpiderSimpson are a Rock/Alternative band consisting of members Adam Zindani (vocals/guitar), Sam Yapp (drums), Jo Crofts (guitar), Neil Irving (bass), and Dean Deavall (keyboards). The band was originally formed as 'Casino' in 2003 and changed name following their signing to Polydor in 2006. The band played their first home gig at 'The Railway' music bar in Birmingham during September 2003. Soon after, they were approached to submit five songs for a film company - which were later to become the basis of the soundtrack for the Ultimate Pictures film - 'Global Heresy' starring Alicia Silverstone & Martin Clunes, ironically depicting the trials and tribulations of an up and coming rock'n'roll band. Over the next year, the band went on to build a loyal fan base from the roots up by gigging extensively around the U.K, including supports slots with the Stereophonics, which culminated in being invited to open the Stereophonics 2005 UK tour. During 2005 a self-produced demo caught the attention of the newly formed midlands based rock-radio station - Kerrang, who decided to playlist the band's song 'Lose Myself' during prime time listening hours. The subsequent increase in popularity saw the band continuing to play small local venues and supporting The Suffrajets on their UK tour. 'Lose myself' and 'Heavy metal machine' were both heavily featured for the Gumball 2006 TV show. The band were signed to Polydor in Spring 2006 and recorded their debut album at studio 606 in LA with producer Nick Raskulinecz. The band has seen constant support from Kerrang Radio and local and national fans and have also seen radio support from both Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics. They recently completed the Kerrang Radio Breakthrough Tour with other newley signed bands. But 2007 was a quiet year for the band as Adam became heavily involved with touring with Stereophonics as their live guitarist. Appearing on Radio One's Big Weekend, Later... With Jools Holland, The Friday Night Project, Q Awards and many other shows. He was also hugely involved in the promotion for Stereophonics sixth studio album Pull The Pin. He looks set to continue touring across Europe with the band this year [2008]. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Miomir Grujić Fleka | Miomir Grujić – Fleka was a phenomenon in the urban culture of the 1980s and 1990s in Serbia, pushing many of the perceived boundaries of artistic creation. He launched a number of initiatives that had a strong influence on the development of urban culture. Among these were Klub Akademija (Club Academia), Radio Šišmiš (Bat Radio), and the Urbazona project. In the magazines and newspapers he edited or contributed to, he presented provocative and committed articles and graphic content. He worked as a visual artist from the mid to late 1980s, bringing to the existing art scene a different sensibility and attitude to artistic creation. At the end of the 1980s, because of his visual impairment, a new phase of performance and social engagement began, primarily through the unique audio format Radio Šišmiš (Bat Radio) and the Urbazone movement. He often referred to himself as “Public Clandestine” and explained this seemingly meaningless expression thus: “It indicates all the absurdity and inverted meaning which has been the hallmark of our reality. Any attempt to rebel with a different opinion causes indescribable suspicion in the environment.” “The artist is a public clandestine. The artist as a process, radiation that endures regardless of whether it is noted or ignored. Nonsense and absurdity, irony and cynicism are the features of the current reality, and at the same time the best means of unmasking and fighting against that kind of reality.” | |

His large body of work supersedes his contemporaries exponentially in both quantity and quality as dozens of one-to-two hour long collections remain unpublished among his already vast expanse of releases. His electronic based sounds seem to organically transform and grow. Having been compared to peers as avant-garde as Matthewdavid, Venetian Snares and Satanicpornocultshop, it is no wonder his seemingly psychedelic-induced songs reflect better the complexities of a creature than a song itself. Smark may as well be a scientist mixing sounds in place of chemicals, constantly creating and reinventing new species of life. |

| Search | Add | 6 | The Pernell Reichert Band | Vancouver, British Columbia From Vancouver, BC Canada, Pernell Reichert is a singer, songwriter, fast finger-pickin', slide-playin', foot-stompin', razor-sharp entertainer. Whether playing a slow self-penned soulful ballad or rockin' with his toe tappin' 3-piece band, you won't be disappointed in his sound. Pernell has been well received at festivals, pubs, clubs, bars, cafes and coffee houses throughout Western Canada. The band features Pernell on guitar (acoustic & electric), banjo, harmonica and vocals, Ross Christopher Fairbairn on bass and backup vocals and Tom Tischer on drums and backup vocals. Their music is acoustic based roots rock, fast folk, alt-country or cow punk. tarting in the late 90’s Pernell & his guitar lived the life of an itinerant roamer: Tree planting in the mountains of BC, farming on kibbutz’s in the Middle East & Great Britain, working oil rigs in the Canadian oil patch – Pernell perfected his guitar playing style and began to pen the songs that would become his narrative. Performing as a solo artist throughout those early years on the stage of a pub in Bristol, England – or at an open mic on The Drive in Vancouver, BC Pernell developed his unique panache – a style of guitar playing described as high energy with fast finger-picking numbers that keep the audience captivated. In 2004 Pernell founded his first band known as Pernell Reichert and the Hard Drinkers. With a lot of serious hard work that year, the band developed a tight set with an upbeat tempo & a full thick sound. In 2005, with Pernell’s solo album in hand, the band set out on their first month-long debut tour of western Canada. Most of 2006 was spent in the studio preparing their first CD as a band, interspersed with venues that enabled them to refine their performance as a group. In 2007 they embarked on several five-day tours, breaking into the western Canada touring circuit. In 2008 Pernell Reichert and the Hard Drinkers released their self-titled album followed by a 39 day tour of western Canada that took the boys from Vancouver to Winnipeg and back. June to July Pernell toured solo from BC to southern Ontario. The band joined in for August and September. That fall Pernell Reichert and the Hard Drinkers went international with a 10-shows-in-10-days tour of South Africa which produced a live recording later included on their 2011 EP. In 2011 they became The Pernell Reichert Band and released their second CD: “Highway of Tears.” More touring followed with highlights including the 2012 Edge of the world Music Festival in Haida Gwaii, BC; 2013 Wells Festival of all Things Art in Wells, BC; 2013 Rock Creek Fall Fair in Rock Creek, BC (sharing the stage with Fred Penner); the 2014 Rock Creek Fall Fair (sharing the stage with Charlotte Diamond); the 2015 Cowboy Festival in Nordegg, Alberta (sharing the stage with Marty Haggard). 2016 saw the release of their third effort entitled “The Road (You Ain't the One)”. | |
