Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | DJ Cam-One | Cameron Bolling | DJ Cam_One of Mystery Sound Recordings, Beat.Clause.It_Studios and Linden Tree Mastering. I am DJ Cam_One born Cameron Bolling and have been into music since an early age. I started singing in chorus and playing trumpet in elementary school and continued throughout middle school. At the age of 13 I started making mixtapes for friends using two cassette tape recorders. During this time my sister Rachel was dating DC radio and club Hip-Hop extraordinaire DJ Iran. Since then my life was never the same. In 1995, two years later I bought my first turntable from a pawnshop and paid with change. For the next three years I would practice my scratching, mixing and mixtapes skills. In 1998, I joined a Funk band called Bakufu using my turntables as added percussion to the group. Bakufu disbanded a few months later and I joined a DJ collective called Samsara Camp. This collective comprised of old and new friends from high school. Most of them had no experience with DJing and turntables, so I would teach them techniques that were learned and passed down to me. While with Samsara Camp I started playing Hip Hop at house parties and small venues throughout Maryland and Washington DC. Having the opportunity to open up for other locals at small venues was the stepping stone I needed to advance in my DJ career. After that I started giving private DJ lessons to friends and spoke with them about personal DJing experiences I had to help them with their DJ careers. That is just as important as technique. A short while later I joined another collective called Mantis Sound System and this is where my skills were honed and was able the play out more often. In 2001 I was contacted to play and teach Hip Hop DJing at Towson Universities Hip Hop week were I met an enormous amount of people and exhausted my resources. A few years later I found myself spinning regularly in Washington DC and Baltimore. While in Baltimore I opened up for and DJ’d along side such greats as: KRS-ONE, DJ Q-Bert and DJ Swamp among others at the popular club Sonar. While in Washington DC I opened up for and DJ’d along side such greats as: Cappadonna, Jurrasic 5, Mr.Len, Tame-One, Matisyahu among others at many popular clubs that hosted Hip Hop. In the summer of 2003 I had the opportunity to DJ before and after Dave Chappelle’s DC standup for both shows at the Warner Theater right after his first season debut of “Chappelle’s Show”. Soon thereafter I would find myself at Nissan Pavilion on the Code of the Cuts stage of the Vans Warped Tour. After those two amazing shows and the reception I received in DC and Baltimore I became a resident DJ for a legendary party called “Krunk” led by international DJ Jesse Tittsworth. During this time I would have shows at the world renowned Knitting Factory in New York and 9:30 Club in Washington DC and opening up for artists such as Jurassic 5 and Matisyahu. I have also judged the Guitar Center’s “Spin Off” DJ competition four times and was a judge at the International Turntable Federation (ITF) Mid Atlantic finals DJ competition. Presently I DJ for special occasions, but most of my time is now spent in my studio. |

Search | Add | 6 | Robert H. McAnally | Australian band conductor and composer (1882-1959). Robert H. McAnally was undoubtedly the most prolific Australian composer/arranger of music for bands, particularly brass bands. His early musical career began with the Salvation Army, and he later became conductor of the New South Wales Tramways Band. He was one of the founders of the now defunct New South Wales Bandmasters’ Association based in Sydney. He wrote many difficult marches, including Implacable, Indomitable, The Spitfire, arranged Waltzing Matilda as a march and composed a programmatic march for the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 1932 entitled Triumph of Industry. On a visit to London he was honoured to see the Massed Guards Band march down The Mall playing his march The Spitfire, which was inspired by the Spitfire pilots of the Second World War. When the ABC established its National Military Band in 1934 it was McAnally who auditioned the players from all over Australia and brought the band together for the arrival of Colonel H.E. Adkins – director of the famous Kneller Hall Military School of Music in England. McAnally spent most of his life in Sydney and died in Albury.

Search | Add | 6 | The Phantom Broadcast | Phantom aims to create music that pushes the boundaries of Indie and Post Rock with the influence of Folk, Jazz, Classical, and even Metal tendencies. The results yield dynamic instrumentation where creativity and emotion are paramount in the composition of each song. Aiming to construct an architectural sonic space, the five collaborate on storytelling and presentation. Having released 3 full lengths and 2 eps, the band has grown, mutated, amputated, and grown some more with each recording. After almost 2 years of writing and recording, The Phantom Broadcast released Antiquities 11/1/19. The record’s themes explored on the double EP, now a full length, deal with the challenges of maintaining good mental health, the anxiety coupled with living and thriving in a large city like Chicago, and hardships of the mundane. Thanks to an incredible amount of support via Kickstarter, the record was pressed to vinyl and is available in all online streaming platforms, at shows, and in record stores throughout Chicago.

Search | Add | 6 | Kids Indestructible | Tim Robinson and Phil Quaite | Kids Indestructible are Tim Robinson and Phil Quaite. Both hail from Yorkshire, England and first began recording, under the name Antidote, in 1998. Encouraged by their friend, Beatnik Records boss Carl Emery, Antidote released a 12" EP on that label called "Riot in Studio 54". This experiment in combining the disco sound of Chic with Drum &Bass gained favourable reviews in DJ Magazine among others and eventually sold out its modest run of 500. Later they would change their style to a more expansive, ambient electronic sound. They adopted a new name, Kids Indestructible (chosen as it sounded like a cartoon series yet to be made). They decided on 'Please Avoid Strong Light' as a potential album title which has since become their catchphrase and band logo. The phrase is taken from the text on the back of packets of Seabrook Crisps manufactured in Bradford in their native Yorkshire. This also became the title of one of their definitive tracks, a vocoderised Beach Boy chant mixed with electronic drones and jaunty piano, which grabbed the attention of Parisian record label, Gooom Disques. This combination of unexpected musical influences sums up the Kids Indestructible sound very well. |

Search | Add | 6 | Bachelor Machines | Clint Hoagland | In late 2004, songwriter [a=Clint Hoagland] stumbled upon the Bachelor Machines, forgotten, in a basement in a remote part of Lansing, Michigan. Mr Hoagland blew the dust off their screens, connected them back up, and they sprung back into life. The Bachelor Machines - Bachelor #1 and Bachelor #2 - requested audio and visual information input in the form of 12" LPs, VHS tapes and DVDs, which their human assistant provides them. They take that raw input, process it using operations known only to themselves, and then they provide their assistant with audio messages. Drawing their name and their found-object aesthetic from Duchamp and their love of sonic juxtaposition from the Space Age Pop movement of 1960s (not to mention the cut-up artists of more recent years), Bachelor Machines destroy recognizable sounds and restructures them into a comforting sonic world where computers talk, robot waitresses serve ice-cold cocktails, and messages from the home office are sent via pneumatic tube. In 2010, the Bachelors stopped engaging humans in rational conversations using the humans' own sounds. They now aim to address humans' nervous systems directly. |

Search | Add | 6 | City Kidds | City Kidds were a UK-based glam band that was part of the UK scene in the late 80's and early 90's. The scene was led by the great Tigertailz, but included many more great similar bands, including City Kidds. The only official CD release from the band was a two song single, but the band recorded a ton of demos, most of which circulated in the glam rock tape trading circuit. In the early 90's, as the scene changed, the band changed their name to Sons of God and recorded a bunch more demos. These recordings were finally released on cd in 2001.

Search | Add | 6 | Sheki-Dol | シェキドル | Sheki-Dol was a Japanese pop group, active from 2000 to 2002. At the time, all Hello! project acts belonged to UP-FRONT Promotion, but Sheki-Dol belonged to Green Park Music (グリーンパーク・ミュージック). (Now called Espro (エスプロ)).They got their name from the combination of the words Akamichi Doll (赤道ドール; Equator Doll) and the phrase "Shake It", meaning girls with a hot image. The group started out as a duo with Ami Kitagami and Ibuki Ooki. They had participated in the 4th Morning Musume & Heike Michiyo Protegee Auditions (the same auditions that Matsuura Aya eventually won). They had their own radio show and performed their debut single at a Hello! project concert months before it was released as a single. They were also frequently featured in music magazines and fashion shoots. They were rumored to be "idol with contacts" as well as being rude to their fan base, resulting in fewer and fewer fans. They held a disastrous live performance where only 15 people attended. Mami Suenaga was added for the release of their second single, with Ibuki leaving shortly after (to start a modeling career under the name EVEKI) only to be replaced by Ari Sakai. They released their fourth and final single in December 2001 before disbanding in early 2002. The official reason was that one of its members needed medical attention. It was speculated, but not confirmed that Suenaga was pregnant. She later talked about this, saying she had a nervous break-down anfd anxiety attacks. |

Search | Add | 6 | Chona Borromeo | An aficionado of jazz music, Chona is not only a versatile and unique singer but she is a very prolific songwriter and composer. Music has always been a part of Chona Borromeo’s life. She has been singing for weddings and has been part of a church choir since the age of nine. It is a gift that she has carried and nurtured through the years. Fame however, has never been a part of her agenda. What her music and her life is that of love, worship and service, making it undeniable how deep and indelible her influence has been the lives of people she has come to call peers and most especially, family and friends. For many years, Chona had her humble beginnings on the stages of high-star hotels and prestigious establishments in Manila. A member of the FILSCAP since 2004, Chona is an accomplished songwriter and composer. Her song “Narito Lang Ako” won the Highly Commended Song Award in the 2004 ABS-CBN Himig Handog Songwriting Competition and was included in Vina Morales’ album Mamahalin Ka Nya. In 2006, she penned the powerful track, Simulan Natin, making the finals and thus being included in the Anti-Corruption Songwriting Competition and Album, a collaborative project of the Ombudsman and the British Embassy. Chona was also a “10-week Champion and Grand champion” at the Tanghalan ng Kampeon back in 1993. 2004 proved to be another pivotal year as Chona started to volunteer in Victory’s worship team. With God’s gift of music as a natural language for her, she served to communicate the love, power and majesty of Jesus to congregants. Known fondly as “ate Chona” she has become a mentor to fellow volunteers. Not only does she share her effective and honed musical know-how, she freely shares her life journey to friends and spiritual family, from being a free-spirited young adult to her current struggles and victories as a wife and mother, and as an all-around worshiper and child of God.
