Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025

Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 3 Mission For Christ Centered around bassist [a=John Gibson (9)] (aka JC Agnatha), Mission For Christ featured a rotating cast that was equally well-versed in full-throttle punk, go-go funk, and art-damaged junk. A loose-knit project, MFC flaunted an absurd, topical, and gleefully bizarre mesh of styles that recklessly disregarded subcultures, colors, and easy definitions. No Trend mastermind and guitarist [a=Frank Price (2)] had come aboard in 1985, shortly before the band broke-up.

Search Add 3 Ferroblues Ferroblues The origin dates back to an earlier group that had the guitar Fernando Rubio, and Amador Blaya (voice) in Cartagena, the Miraculous Medicinal Primitive Blues Band, playing essentially the same repertoire that would then Ferroblues. In 1986, Fernando Rubio, taking advantage of his stay in fans, recruits drummer Juan Ramón Cuenca and Bass player Pepito Cuenca for a project, Ferroblues, which takes the name of the brothers (who worked at the Renfe). Besides Amador, the first full training Manolo Gomez. Juan Antonio Ross also goes to the battery. This training revolve around Spain, playing in all sorts of places. Later, Juan Antonio Ross is leaving to start his solo project, entering Diego Canovas (well known in Cartagena) in getting manager and record label, Club Sirocco Records, the Sirocco room where usually acted and had won the prize best live at 93. Thus, they recorded their first album, "tripe" (Club Sirocco, 1994), in studies of Pepe Moreno Murcia. Produced by Juan Antonio Ross, shows robust sound, based on the soul and touches of other styles. "Black Soul in the guts" they call it. It is best to let go and do not stop to analyze. With the album under his arm again revolve around the bull's hide. Half tour, Diego is unable to balance work, personal life and actions, leaving the group, and Juan Exposito is incorporated, which will be the final formation -recapitulemos: Amador Blaya (voice), Fernando Rubio (guitar) Juanjo Rodriguez (bass), Carlos Campoy (keyboard) and Juan Exposito (drums) -. Following often act in a mod den Madrid -The Bareto of Paco on the Plaza de Chueca, they emerged performances at various concentrations of mods, like Zaragoza and Centelles (Barcelona), and a large group of followers mods, given the soulful vocation and Ferroblues they were among the few soul bands practiced in Spain in the 80s and 90s. On his penchant for live band and the difficult style -in terms noncommercial practiced only recorded a CD, "Blind Lizard" (Big Bang, 2000), on Granada's Big Bang, which is considered one of the best albums Spanish soul. Search Add 3 Caged View Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area and born out of a creative surge during the height of the Pandemic, Caged View is a band very much rooted in hardcore but also explores sounds that often align with the genre. The band describes their sound as "a little hardcore, a little punk, and a little rock"; but it may be easier to just call them Post-Hardcore in the most traditional sense. Made up of former members of Northern California bands such as Allegiance, Embrace The End, Some Still Believe, Beneath The Ashes, Skin Like Iron, Lies, and, Set Your Goals; however, Caged View might have more in common with the bands that they are influenced by, such as Quicksand, Fugazi, Helmet, Hum, Into Another, Turning Point, and even early-Jawbreaker.

Search Add 3 Fatter Faction Dan Spier, Steve Scott, Ben McCusker Audio architects/musicians Dan Spier and Steve Scott spend many years in their garage studio in Staines, Middlesex, remixing, bootlegging tunes to play-out to the free-party masses. A lack of direction was rectified when past free party cohort and vocalist Ben McCusker (aka KRUDE) dropped into the studio and was blown away by the lawless, gritty tones bouncing off the studio walls. Bringing with him a peerless vocal style that flies between sardonic, sarcastic social observation to raw urban prose, the Fatter Faction were formed, proper, December 2003. Their infectious, nihilistic tunes are best described as the musical equivalent of being smashed in the face. A calamity of cross-genre, distinctly British sounding tunes that stops anyone within earshot dead in their tracks.

He is father and Guru to the brilliant vocalist Late Pt. Govind Prasad Jaipurwale. From Rajan Parrikar's website: Laxmanprasad Jaipurwale (1915-1977) is an unknown entity today. He was a superlative musician – a vocalist and a composer of a high calibre, a representative of what is known as the “Kunwar Shyam” tradition. The progenitor of this lyrical and layakari-laden gayaki was Goswami Lalji Maharaj (‘Kunwar Shyam’). A recluse who sang only within the precincts of Delhi’s Radha-Govind temple, the saint-musician-composer Kunwar Shyam (died c. 1911) has left behind a rich fund of compositions.

Search Add 3 Armaroth Armaroth Psychedelic death metal from Kranj, Slovenia. Current line-up band Filip Košnik - Vocals (2008-present) Klemen Govekar - Guitars (2007-present) Martin Jagodić - Guitars (2009-present) Vid Pobegajlo - Bass (2015-present) Rok Lukavečki - Drums (2015-present) Biography Armaroth is known to the masses as a five-headed acid spitting death metal entity residing underneath Kranj, Slovenia. Formed in 2008, this act has already established itself as one of the most promising bands to come from the region, a claim that they have supported with numerous raging shows in their home country. After their Burning Execution Demo (2010) showed signs of things yet to come, Armaroth released their EP titled False Vision in 2013, which was (and still is) held in very high regard by fans and reviewers alike. In fall 2015, Vid Pobegajlo joined and Rok Lučavečki joined as bassist and drummer. With the new lineup, the band released singles Diamox and Deep Of Throats, announcing heabiliy anticipated debut album ZENITH. The LP was released in December 2016 and gained very positive reviews, which labeled it as an excellent and innovative piece of art. The stage is the place where the band really comes alive and fulfills its full potential as a force intoxicating, seducing and ultimately obliterating every last man present. Armed with a war machine of a rhythm section, riffs that take the term "brutal badass death metal" to a new level, guttural vocals and an enormous stage presence, Armaroth are a force to be reckoned with.
