Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Meadow Quartet | Meadow Quartet came into being in 2009 in Gdansk (Poland). The band tries to create the space, which can be diffused by influences of modern chamber music, jazz, improvised music and the most fundamental medium – traditional Jewish music. Meadow Quartet, at last, is an exciting challenge, its members are trying to follow the path which defies simple stylistic classification. Meadow Quartet denotes four outstanding musicians – four instrumentalists, each inspired by one of the above type of music, but altogether Meadow Quartet are four, synergizing in musical performance, personalities. The band has won the second prize at the 16th Festival of Polish Radio Nowa Tradycja (New Tradition) in 2013 and has participated in the events such as the International Jewish Music Festival in Amsterdam, Tzadik Poznan Festival, the Internationaler Hansetag in Lüneburg. Meadow Quartet at their concerts hosted valued musicians, including Jarosław Bester, Klaus Kugel, Tomas Dobrovolskis, Saulius Petreikis, furthermore band’s music was used in the movie Rosa Alba. In February 2012, they released their debut album entitled Unexpected. The second album, The Erstwhile Heroes with the special guest – Lithuanian percussionist Tomas Dobrovolskis, was released in July 2013. Gazeta Wyborcza described it as one of the most interesting releases of the year 2013 in Poland. By the end of 2015 they released new album David & Goliath, which was recorded during Meadow Quartet & Klaus Kugel’s concert in Gdansk on April 10th 2015.

Search | Add | 3 | Boileroom Productions | Marcus "Direct" Mickens & Arun "AJ" Ranganathan | Boilerroom Productions also spelled Boiler Room Productions was a two man Hip hop production/DJ company in Middletown, Connecticut (late 80's - mid 90's). The members were Marcus "Direct" Mickens & Arun "AJ" Ranganathan who decided to join forces and form Boiler Room Productions in the late 80's. The group made sample based beats using the EMU SP-1200 & Akai X7000 Sampling Keyboard. The duo went on to produce several records for many local Artists. Some got signed to major labels and others released their music independently. Boiler Room productions had a long list of artists that never got signed but made several unreleased and unheard demos of classic 90's Hip Hop. Both Direct and AJ were Hip Hop DJ's and like many 80's & 90's producers they scratched and mixed records both in their production and at CT parties they would throw to support their endeavors. The production group eventually dissolved in the mid 90's. Boiler Room Productions was featured or contributed work either partially or entirely on the following commercial and independently released records as either Producers, Co-Producers, lyric & music writers and/or Dj (cuts). Search | Add | 3 | Blackguy | Blackguy spent his youth in the streets of north side Omaha. The St. Joseph, Missouri born rapper moved to Omaha, Nebraska at the age of eight. In 1991, he ran into producer L-Mac-N and has been dropping rhymes over hot hip-hop instrumentals, honing his clever lyrics and street knowledge over whatever style of beat thrown his way. Blackguy is a veteran rapper who established a name for himself in 1997 as member of the group Full Clip. The debut album entitled “Stuck In The Game” (distributed by ichiban) became an underground classic and Blackguy was an immediate standout. His distinctive style, articulate delivery and his humorous but hard-hitting wordplay has always set him apart. Even now he is one of the most under-rated MC’s in the Midwest region. His current independent album “Think About It” is being released by StatusOne Recordings through Black Smack Records; a label founded by Blackguy and long time friend and producer L-Mac-N. In 1998 Full Clip’s second release “Late Night”, hit the underground market but unfortunately Ichiban; the company responsible for the groups distribution, filed for bankruptcy. Just one year later Blackguy made the decision to release a compilation album with Shonuff Records entitled “Back Stage Pass” followed up with his first solo album “All About Me”. As Blackguy’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to thrive Black Smack Records will release remixed versions of all Blackguy’s independent label work as well as more albums and compilations from Omaha’s finest.
