Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | FLIP 22 | Taunton, MA Rap Metal Band. In February of 1999 sounds from the 22nd cypher began to emerge from five experienced musicians who are currently redefining the combination of rock and hip-hop. A tribe was formed and its members include: J-Maze, Matty, Shane V., D.C. and Ross One. Former Eastcide bass player, Shane V., sought out hip-hop recording artist and former Head Check vocalist J-Maze. It was evident that his lyrical skills and melodic flow stylings would shine behind the individual musical talents of Shane, as well as former Head Check members, Matty, D.C., and Ross One. Through non-stop practice and dedication, the newly formed band found themselves writing and recording a three song promotional CD in a remarkable three weeks. When the disc was released it successfully joined the local rock and hip-hop scene. In addition to the positive reaction from Flip 22's growing fan base, all five hundred copies were sold in less time than it took to record it. As the band relentlessly pushed forward they caught the attention of several local radio programs. Flip earned the opportunity to perform for 107.3 WAAF's Real Rock T.V. Shortly after, Flip 22 released the highly anticipated full-length album Anotha Level, out on Linoleum Records. The album "delivers a dynamic and aggressive 10-track trip on a debut that defies categorization and piques interest at every turn," (Boston Herald, Nov 2, 2001 pg s22). Now that Anotha Level has been released and is on its way up, Flip 22 will head back to the studio in late December to begin work on their follow-up album, Northern Lights. The band is currently tearing up all of New England and receiving exceptional reviews from an extremely diversified audience. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | 大凶風呂敷 | 大凶風呂敷 | 大凶風呂敷 (‘daiKYo,furo shIKI) is a brainbending collaboration between Tamio Shiraishi and Cammisa Buerhaus that fuses handmade sound, free noise, and guttural blooms of tone poetry. Buerhaus plays her self built wood organ, half sculpture, half hallucinatory drone machine. Actress, label head, and artist, she approaches music and performance hermeneutically. Shirashi was a central figure in the Club Minor scene in Japan, jammed in Taco and A-Musik, helped form Fushitsusha, and has released numerous works of site specific saxophone playing. His style is some of the most atom splitting minimalism to ever locate your body in space. Thus, the sound of 大凶風呂敷 is a tense drama whose nerve chilling lines literally encodes the space for terrifying truths to appear all around you. Past players include K-Mical-Mico, Keith Connolly, Tara Fenamore, Greem Jellyfish, SADAF, Gozo Yoshimasu, Michiru Inoue. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Vincent Yuen Ruiz | Vincent (Yuen) Ruiz (1990) is a Swiss musician, composer and improviser living in Copenhagen. His latest work has been a study in patience, a focus on repetition and the interaction between timbres and resonances. A certain idea of stillness often leads his sonic explorations, as well as giving a narrow framework to his improvisational style. With a minimalism bordering on reductionism, Ruiz mixes tonal melodies and textural approaches. He works both as a solo artist and with various ensembles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in double bass from the Musik Akademie Basel and a Master of Music in performance from the Rytmisk Musik Konservatorium of Copenhagen. He was awarded the Leenaards cultural grant in 2015 as an encouragement to further his compositional work. Ruiz was the former double bass player of the minimalist/post-jazz group Plaistow. He is a member of the Insub Meta Orchestra since 2017. He has performed extensively in Europe, Russia and Japan notably at the London Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, Klub Katarakt and Centre Culturel Suisse (Paris). He has played or collaborated with a vast array of musicians and improvisers including Magnus Granberg, Michael Pisaro, Greta Eacott, Nicole Hogstrand, d’incise, Samuel Reinhard, Emanuele Maniscalco, Kresten Osgood, Diatribes and Ryota Miyake. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Stinas Visor | Swedish folk music group from Gothenburg, founded in 2009. They won the Gothenburg final at Liseberg of the Swedish top next. It was the summer of 2010 and the winning song Tågresa went hot in Swedish radio P4. Since then, the band has played at certain stages, festivals, churches and museums, mostly in Gothenburg and along the west coast. The band was started in late autumn 2009, when Stina Klintbom and Magnus Markling were inspired by a concert with Sofia Karlsson. Stina started writing songs already on the tram home and after some thought about which instruments would be included, Mirjam Simonsson on violin and Viktor Turegård on double bass and Oskar Reuter on guitar were asked. The first gig was an acclaimed debut at Kustens hus in Gothenburg. Only then did the band's name come and new ideas began to sprout, which among other things led to a mini tour in Halland. In 2012, the band got a fresh start when Viktor and Oskar thanked each other for being able to focus on their other assignments and were replaced by Johan Bengtsson on double bass and Andreas Nordanstig on guitar. In the spring of 2014, the group's first record was recorded, entitled When I Met You. In 2018, the band got a new member of Hanna Austern on violin and in February 2020, the band's second album Medan bäcken brusar was released. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Theopolis James | Ted Bunch – Vocals / Guitars / Keyboards Ted has been playing music since age 8. He has lived and made music in Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Austin, New York, St. Louis, Philadelphia and southern New Jersey. Ted is proud to feature the kickin’ rhythm section of Miles Holland on drums and Joe Jandura on bass. Miles brings song writing, lead and background vocals along with his monstrous talents on the drum kit. Joe’s thunderous bass playing is in the pocket, full bodied and rockin’, making this power trio large as marge. Ted can currently be heard fronting his next generation band EGO ALIEN. He’s also played with, recorded and/or produced a variety of artists including: The Ticket, Slackface, Thick, Trunk of Funk Productions, Second Line Productions, Black ‘n’ Decca, Soledad Brothers, Purity of Essence, The Chance Trio, The Jon Madof Trio, The Kevin Collins Quartet, Lazlo, Evelyn Aileen Bunch, The Water Tower Home Schoolers, Gank, The Highwire Gallery’s Jazz Series, MotherGod, Surge, Cryermouth, Sex In Violets, and LOS CONFABULATORS. Miles Holland – Vocals / Drums In 1997, a crack commando drummer was sent to the United States by a military court for a musical crime he did not commit. This man promptly escaped from a musical security stockade of endless stadium Rock to the Collingswood, NJ underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a drummer of fortune. THEOPOLIS JAMES had great guitar driven songs, no one else could keep the beat, so when they found him… they just had to recruit… Miles Holland* *Miles Holland plays courtesy of anyone who will take him. He’s thirty-something, almost six feet tall, and weighs 156 lbs. His influences range anywhere from stuff he currently has on his ipod to songs he heard on WXPN last night. Joe Jandura – Vocals / Bass Joe has been playing the bass guitar for over twenty years. He has been in several different bands and projects with the most recent being No Warning Shots, a metal band out of Bellmawr, NJ. He got started early with music at the age of four when he took lessons on the organ and later moved to the bandura (ukrainian string instrument). After that it was keyboards until the age of fourteen when a close friend got him hooked on the bass guitar. He’s been wrestling with the four (and sometimes five) string beasties ever since. | |
