Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Jon Gleur | Jon Antoine de Gleur | French DJ, composer and audio engineer from New York, USA. Born on August 1st of 1985 in Alsace, France. In his childhood Jon was diagnosed with schizophrenia and later on with Borderline Personality Disorder. He developed and invented a Mini-Tunes music genre. All his songs are short between 1-2 minutes and composed in a such way that they could be placed in a different order in a playlist and sound nonstop as a Megamix. All his tracks start commonly with a hit or crash and end up with a riser, uplifter or a drum fill, so in loop they sound as infinite tracks. Mr. Gleur writes and mixes in different music styles such as Trip-Hop, Drum 'n' Bass, Big Beat, Chillout, Lo-fi and others. The purpose of composing short and diverse songs is that he can't tolerate mentally repetitive patterns and uniform mood. Jon Gleur is a free-spirited and epochal person who likes to experiment. As an example he doesn't name his songs the way artists usually do. He uses either click-bate names or the names people might get attracted by. Same story with his appearance and album covers. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Asenath Noir | Alberto Viel | Italian minimal dark ambient project, started in 2006 and run by A.V., based in Piedmont. Inspired in his first phase by local legends, linked to nature, he later turned towards a more modern approach, turning his attention to modern society and the disease it represents. With an aesthetic of urban decadence, monotony and repetitiveness, he tries to recreate, through dark environmental sounds, the urban decadence of the hive cities, drawing panoramas of imposed solitude, alienation, and anguish of the failure. The feelings that fill the heart of modern man today. A.S is a faded color photo of a street crowded with cars after a storm, the desire to go home and the anguish of finding it empty. |

He also owned and operated his own TV and radio stations in North Carolina. Steve has hosted the [l153566] World Championships for 42 years on PBS, ESPN2, and on movie screens across the country. In 2013 he was inducted into the [l153566]l Hall of Fame. Steve is active in volunteer work. He is president of the French Lick West Baden Museum, a weekly kindergarten reading buddy at Springs Valley Elementary School, and a staff member with the Springs Valley High School marching band. Rondinaro's drum corps career started like many others who have entered DCI's Hall of Fame, as a marching corps member. A young 10-year-old in upstate New York, Rondinaro joined and marched with the [a8858188] through 1975. He also co-managed the corps that year as they narrowly missed the finals competition with a 13th-place finish in the 1975 World Championships in Philadelphia. Rondinaro would help lead the Squires through 1979. Forging a successful career as a news reporter and anchor outside of drum corps, Rondinaro got his start with DCI's television broadcasts when asked by Hall of Fame Member Don Whitely to host a local PBS telecast of the 1976 DCI East competition in Allentown, PA. A similar opportunity was offered in 1977 for the DCI Canada event in Hamilton, Ontario, and by 1979 he got his opportunity in front of the camera at the World Championships, sitting alongside jazz trumpet legend [a38207] as co-host. Over many years Rondinaro has had the opportunity to work with a diverse array of broadcast hosts from actress [a856107] to sports broadcasting legend [a1093496], using his unique experiences and talents as a drum corps "insider" to educate his television partners even if they have little or no familiarity with the drum corps activity. As Rondinaro's broadcasting career took him to Miami in the early 1980s, he wouldn't lose sight of managing a corps. There he helped reorganize the Florida Vanguard into a new corps, [a7695405], a group that went on to win DCI's A-Class Championship title in 1984. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Fokkewolf | Garage/Punk rock band from England. Formed in 1996. Daz and Paul needed a guitar player after splitting another band going nowhere. Clarky, a sparring partner from the old hardcore days fitted the bill perfectly (they played briefly together in FORCEFED). After a few gigs they cut Bullet Festival EP in the same year but didn't release it. Played a rack of gigs in the UK. More recording followed. This resulted in the DEATHRAY EP. Some frenzied live activity accompanied the record. Then came the legendary KICK ARSE EP, inspired by the film 'Brain Dead'. A track from it was put on a Frank Records comp which spread the word about the band around Europe. The EP was played on the Peel show in the UK, and they were invited to do a session by the great man himself!! Then Barny from Incognito asked them for a record for his anniversary release series. This spawned the PORNO ROCKER anthem. The band then split for various personal reasons, and things lay fallow for a while. All seemed dead until founder member Smith reformed the band with new members and tied up some loose end songs written before the split. That's it! | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Deep Water Reunion | The Deep Water Reunion | Members circa 1966 - 1970: Barbara Raney Bob Hayes Jerry Miller Brent Webster Brad Kamp Keith Skue History: C.f. "The Rivermen" formed in Little Rock, Arkansas in the early-to-mid 1960s: [a3576197] The Rivermen recorded and released a couple of singles within their local, Little Rock market before disbanding. A couple of years later, The Deep Water Reunion emerged on the scene in New Orleans when former "Rivermen" Jerry Miller, Barbara Raney, and Bob Hayes reunited there. The band played locally and even appeared on Bourbon Street before beginning a more extensive, two year tour. The tour eventually brought them to the upper midwest. In early 1968 they traveled to Nashville to record a single for RCA Records: "Ruby Foo." While the band had developed something of a regional following, it was during their tour through the upper midwest that they recorded the bulk of their material. They recorded two live albums in St. Paul, Minnesota over a couple of nights in the late spring / early summer of 1968. They returned to the area the following year to record their only studio album, "DWR", in Minneapolis. While some have come to think of them as "a Minnesota band" in the years since they disbanded, they were truly an Arkansas band with a Minnesota connection that only emerged later in their career. The Deep Water Reunion's unique renderings of some of the most popular songs of the late 1960s had kept them in demand for several years, and they have retained a sort of cult following to this day. But by the early 1970s the members again went their separate ways. Subsequently, members Hayes and Miller played as solo artists and in other bands throughout the midwest (and beyond), while Barbara Raney continued as a solo artist, and had a regional country rock hit in 1983. Singles / 7" releases: "Ruby Foo / I Wanna Know" RCA Victor – 47-9609 (1968) [r4688909] "It's All Over Now Baby Blue / Break My Mind" (Self released / Jerral, 1970) LPs: 1968: "Deep Water" -- Recorded "live at The Showboat." 1968: "Deepwater (161)" -- Recorded "live at The Showboat." Note: As both of these live albums were recorded at the same venue and share the same center labels, they are sometimes misunderstood as a single album with a re-issue. What differentiates each are different setlists, different matrix numbers, and different album jacket artwork. 1969: "DWR" - Studio album recorded at Sound 80 in Minneapolis, and released on the band's own "Jerral Records" imprint. Radio Play: "Cindy's Crying" Following the 1969 release of "DWR", this cover of a Tom Paxton song became a signature tune on Clyde Clifford's cutting-edge "Beaker Street" program on KAAY 1090 out of Little Rock. While KAAY's 'clear channel' status helped the band's rendition reach a very dedicated audience, the song was never released as a single. Today their rendition is both true to the underground status of the band and the nature of the Beaker Street program, itself. In other words it has become truly iconic. Name Variations: The Deep Water Reunion is rendered as "Deep Water" (live album / labels), "Deepwater" (cover, live album / 161), and "Deep Water Reunion" ("DWR", cover - Jerral.) |

| Search | Add | 6 | Anders Monrad | Danish composer of modern classical music Anders Monrad (b. 1981) began playing the piano at the age of 6, and started composing as a teenager. Monrad received his undergraduate degree from Copenhagen University and Business School. Since 2006 he has studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Bent Sørensen, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow and Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg. As a composer Monrad gets his inspiration from different musical genres and conventions, and he is an avid collector of obscure old LP`s - with tastes ranging from early electronic music, and psychedelic rock to various kitsch genres. He is very inspired by the American composer John Zorn, whose poly-stylistic approach and rejection of the dichotomy between “High Brow” and “Low Brow” culture stands, Monrad sees as one of the most important developments in late 20th century musical aesthetics. In addition to composition, Monrad is active as a painter, music critic and writer. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Miomir Grujić Fleka | Miomir Grujić – Fleka was a phenomenon in the urban culture of the 1980s and 1990s in Serbia, pushing many of the perceived boundaries of artistic creation. He launched a number of initiatives that had a strong influence on the development of urban culture. Among these were Klub Akademija (Club Academia), Radio Šišmiš (Bat Radio), and the Urbazona project. In the magazines and newspapers he edited or contributed to, he presented provocative and committed articles and graphic content. He worked as a visual artist from the mid to late 1980s, bringing to the existing art scene a different sensibility and attitude to artistic creation. At the end of the 1980s, because of his visual impairment, a new phase of performance and social engagement began, primarily through the unique audio format Radio Šišmiš (Bat Radio) and the Urbazone movement. He often referred to himself as “Public Clandestine” and explained this seemingly meaningless expression thus: “It indicates all the absurdity and inverted meaning which has been the hallmark of our reality. Any attempt to rebel with a different opinion causes indescribable suspicion in the environment.” “The artist is a public clandestine. The artist as a process, radiation that endures regardless of whether it is noted or ignored. Nonsense and absurdity, irony and cynicism are the features of the current reality, and at the same time the best means of unmasking and fighting against that kind of reality.” | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Caverna delle Rose | Led by AimA Lichtblau and Diego Cinquegrana – accompanied by flautist Laura Manescalchi and baritone and percussionist Evor Ameisie (Camerata Mediolanense) – Caverna delle Rose presents itself as a liminal musical project, situated between abstraction, research and reinterpretation: a sonic bridge connecting ancient practices and contemporary sensibilities. Rooted in the contemplation of nature, traditional wisdom and the perennial principles that have traversed and will always traverse emerged civilizations, Caverna delle Rose translates into musical language those fundamental themes that René Guénon identified as the invariant core of the primordial Tradition: the distance between the contingent and the eternal – the essential –, cosmological symbolism and the search for lost unity. From the laws governing natural cycles to the reinterpretation of ancient wisdom texts, the compositions explore the mysteries of creation, life, death and the depths of human interiority. The conception of music as a "mystical" journey emphasizes the centrality of ecstatic experience, realized through a modal alchemy that weaves together heterogeneous sounds and instruments: voice, winds, strings, percussion, electronic sounds and natural noises, in a synthesis that evokes the harmony of opposites well-known to the hermetic tradition. | |
