Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | Tommy Navarro | Luther Navarro Walker | Luther Navarro Walker was born January 12, 1940 in Manhattan, New York to Luther Martin Walker and Irelene Walker. Luther married Clarencia Mae Flynn on April 5, 1959. They had four daughters and one son. Luther and Clarencia also adopted another daughter Denise and brought her into their large family. Luther‘s thirst for music came from his mother who played the piano for the African Methodist Church in Columbia, South Carolina and then in New York. Luther’s voice was one that could bring you to tears. He was singing in the chorus church and was so small, the robe dragged on the floor as he sang “Ave Maria” as a young man for 12 years. He moved to Williams Avenue in Springfield Gardens from Morning Side Avenue in Manhattan. It was there that he met Clarencia Flynn, who was 14 years old at the time and he was 12 years old. Luther had a singing group called the Dealers. Everyone at that time was into “Dowop.” You could hear it on every street corner, but Luther’s voice always stood out. Luther was always headed for Broadway, always trying to get a contract. Luther went into the Air Force January 16, 1957. He was classified as a Metal Worker. When he was discharged he got married. He then went on to pursue his music again. In 1960 Luther put out an album. He appeared at the Rat Fink Room, the Galaxy Supper Club in Queens, New York, the Lamp Lighter and the El Carrib Country Club. In 1963, under the singing name “Tommy Navarro,” Luther recorded “I Cried My Life Away,” with De Jac Records. This record became #18 on the “Top 100” song list nationally. He then worked with the Ruddy Williams Trio. In 1968, he joined the world famous Joe Boatner’s Ink Spots, with whom he received encore after encore whenever he sang lead. As a solo artist, he sang at the Moulin Rouge, the Show place of the Stars, August 23-24, 1968 and again November 1-2, 1968. He sang at the Flagship in Union, New Jersey as a Star with Mary Rooney and Linda Terri. Luther sang at the Palisades Amusement Park under the Disc Jockey, Bruce Morrow of WABC. He sang at the Baby Grand in New York City on January 25, 1969 with his own trio “The Navarro Trio” and at the Velvet Room in Bellmore, New York for six weeks. In 1969, he sang at the Baby Grand in Brooklyn, New York as well as the Steer Inn. He sang at the Pocamount Lodge in Bushkill, Pennsylvania as well as the McAllister Rose Room in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. |

Search | Add | 6 | DLH Posse | The DLH Posse are an Italian hip hop group, who sings both in Italian and in Friulian language. Dlh Posse was the most popular hip hop hip hop group, anticipating the current use of the new media and the internet, among the first underground regional groups to switch to national and international channels and to have sung on nationally-relevant stages. Linked to Friulian culture, and to a certain kind of political consciousness and social activism, DLH Posse was one of the strongest voices of the 1990s linked to the new Friulian culture and the entourage of Radio Onde Furlane.

The trio’s lyrical style originates in the author’s long experience in classical music and her affinity with jazz, thus finding an original path that paints subtle moods and emotions. Inspired by the beauty of her hometown Alvanović’s impressionistic compositions are spiced by hints of a Balkan musical heritage.

Len Henry then teamed-up with younger brother Harvey Henry to form The Henry Brothers Band, after which both brothers pursued solo careers in country music, with Len Henry forming the band Len Henry And Good Company. In the late 1970's Len Henry became a favourite with the late Elizabeth "Ma" Henning, owner operator of the famed Downs Motor Hotel in Winnipeg, as well as the Downs Records Company. As Executive Producer "Ma Henning brought in Nashville's Jack Clements to oversee production of Len Henry's 1978 debut album"Don't Give A Damn Kind Of A Man" (Downs DWNS-1000). The album served up a series of single releases, including the title track (DWNS-100) and the follow-up "She's That Kind Of Woman" b/w "When You're Sad" (DWNS-101). Two other singles from the album were billed as "Len Henry & Good Company", including "Poor Man's Railroad Line" (DWNS-1008) and "Ramblin" (DWNS-110). A second album, "Yesterday's Dreams" (Downs DWNS-81-1001) was released in 1981, this one produced in Winnipeg Studios by Craig Fotheringham. Again, several singles were pulled from the album, including the Barry Brown (of Family Brown) penned tune, "Cold Wind On The Mountain" b/w "Love Has Made A Fool Of Me Again" (DWNS-1001); followed by "Oh My Lady (DWNS-107). The next two singles were released on "Ma" Hennings new record label, Ameri-Can Records, with "What's It Like To Live In Texas" (DH-1001) and "Happy Ever After"(DH-1006), the latter proving to be Len Henry's only national chart showing, peaking at #35 on the RPM Charts in 1983. With the lack of any sustained chart action, Len Henry soon put his recording career on hold. He currently resides in Thorold, Ontario. Len's brother Harvey Henry passed away October 4, 2013 in Roblin, Manitoba.

Search | Add | 6 | Ill Crew Universal | Ill Crew Universal | Ill Crew Universal is a Worldwide Hip-Hop organization and entertainment company dedicated to the preservation, activism, empowerment, balance and unity of Hip-Hop culture expressed in all of its elements. ICU is a service to the Hip-Hop community, whose goal is to educate and network artists, activists, musicians and thinkers so as to enrich the Hip-Hop community by promoting positivity, humility, understanding, resourcefulness, interdependence, consciousness and progressive change in society. Ill Crew Universal (ICU) was the largest Hip-Hop organization in the world, with more than 50,000 members worldwide. ICU gained the respect of the Hip-Hop nation and had both the attention of the mainstream media (MTV, Billboard, Rap Sheet, The Source, Vibe, etc) and many recognized Hip-Hop artists of the time, including Xzibit, Gang Starr, X-Clan, The Alkaholiks, Living Legends, Jurassic 5, Black Eyed Peas, A Tribe Called Quest, Jungle Brothers, UMC's, Paris, Hieroglyphics, The Coup, to name a few. ICU began its journey in the Hip-Hop world in 1995. By the summer of 1996, ICU had the leading Hip-Hop website on the Internet and gained worldwide notoriety. In fact, ICU helped to create the emergence of Hip-Hop on the Internet through its members. By the year 1999, ICU had over 50,000 members and had released 7 compilations of ICU artist's material. The growth of ICU exceeded the expectations of ICU leadership. By the forth quarter of 1999, ICU closed its doors to new members. Due to excessively rapid growth and success of ICU, we felt it was in the best interest of the organization, and the public at large, to go on an indefinite hiatus until we could bring forth our vision when the time called for it. That time is now! ICU is announcing our return to the Hip-Hop world. ICU leadership spent the past several years focusing on independent projects, while keeping a low profile in regards to the organization. We have reorganized our effort, added exceptional talent to ICU leadership, and are prepared to take on the Hip-Hop world once again! |

Search | Add | 6 | Tina Poli-Randaccio | (b nr Ferrara, 13 April 1879; d Milan, 1 Feb 1956). Italian soprano. She studied in Pesaro and made her début in 1902 at Bergamo in Un ballo in maschera. She travelled widely in Italy, Spain, Hungary and South America, mostly in lyric-dramatic and verismo roles. Admiring her Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana, Pietro Mascagni engaged her in 1908 to sing the heroine of his Amica in an Italian tour. In 1910, as Brünnhilde in Siegfried, she made her début at La Scala, where she also appeared in the theatre's first presentation of La fanciulla del West. Other notable roles were Aida, La Gioconda and the heroine of Pietro Mascagni's Parisina. In her only season at Covent Garden (1920) she sang Tosca, a performance praised for emotional force but criticized for unevenness. Her career lasted until 1934 with an appearance as Turandot at Bologna. Recordings show a powerful voice, capable of delicacy but inclined to shrillness at the top and having the fast vibrato characteristic of Italian sopranos of the period. She was clearly an imaginative artist, sensitive to nuance and warm in feeling. From The Grove Book of Opera Singers in Oxford Reference.

Their mission? Bring pure emotion from deep within their hearts and souls to the people around the world who seem to be numb to other people's feelings. Rekombine believes that it's not a bad thing to be different, and this proves especially true in the band's sound. With the aggressive, percussive instrumentation of Slipknot, the emotional lyrical delivery of Korn, intricate progressive elements from Mudvayne, industrial electronics from Nine Inch Nails, and even powerful orchestral elements from Evanescence, the band is a Frankenstein's monster of a project waiting to be unleashed.
