Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Cipher Born | Deep underground hip-hop artist utilizing 3 rhyming styles over 3 alter-egos he has dubbed "Exploitation Rap" Cipher Born being the core, Skellington the dark and Fantazzyst the downright bizarre. Forms a rap duo called "Dodelijk Duo" (Deadly Duo) alongside his cousin "Seyko" aka Chirre. Refuses to perform live but instead offers his work for free to whoever wants to listen and be inspired. Doesn't see his work as an art-form but more as a personal diary, hence, doesn't call himself a musician or musical artist, but prefers poët, writer. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Cantor Samuel Heber | St. Louis, Missouri Born in Lodz, Poland in 1928, Cantor Samuel Heber was a young boy when he arrived in the USA on January 1940. Narrowly escaping Europe just before the Nazis invaded Paris, he eventually made his home in St. Louis MO. He studied Chazzanus under the famed cantor and composer Joshua Weiser in his youth and received his ordination from the Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY in 1952. It was at this time that he was invited to St. Louis MO to become a Hazzan at the city’s largest Orthodox congregation. He served as Cantor at Tpheris Israel Chevra Kadisha Congregation in St. Louis, MO until 1973 and officiated at Chesed Shel Emes Congregation (now U.CityShul) for a decade after. His lyric tenor voice with baritone qualities was unusually brilliant in tone and emotional in warmth. He appeared before audiences throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe. In 1968 while attending the International Conference of Cantors and Choirs in Israel he was invited to perform in the home of Israel's third president, Zalman Shazar. Even in his later years he was sought after as a High Holy Day Cantor in congregations around the world. | |

Powerful and emotional, neoclassical instrumentals carry us through the air aloft like helpless insects until we are gently set back down to to earth, miles from any previously recognizable world. Close your eyes. Give yourself to the moment. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Les Sirocco | Trio of Montreal (Québec, Canada) performers composed of Hélène Vanier, Francine Jarry and Frankie Hart. Also known as: Les Filles Sirocco, The Sirocco Singers. Hélène Vanier and Francine Jarry had done their secretarial courses together. Hélène was secretary and Francine, press officer at Expo '67. She knew Frankie Hart well, who was secretary of the newspaper The Gazette, and the three girls decided to share the same apartment. All three sang for their pleasure and played a little guitar. They had never studied singing but had learned the piano for several years, they said to themselves one day, "Why not sing together", and they set to work. At the time, they had no thought of making a career. And then, thanks to an acquaintance, they participated in the contest show "Like Young", on CFCF (channel 12) in May 1967 and won the prize. They continued to work in their respective offices until September, but the offers of commitments were so numerous after this issue that they decided to try their luck. During a visit to New York in the fall of '67, they had an unforgettable experience: singing on the stage of the famous "Lamb' Club". A Sullivan Company producer heard them and was impressed. He took them under his protection! Mexico and Europe were sources of inspiration for Francine and Hélène: each, having visited several countries, discovering in each place either a song or an air of music that pleased her. They had chosen their name well: Les Sirocco, just on the eve of their appearance on TV and in 15 minutes, pressed as they were by the director who threatened them with the joke, to give them one that would not be beautiful. They wanted a name that is quite easily pronounced in all languages, foreshadowing or premonition of their future international career. They sing in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian and Hebrew. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mel Golding | Melanie Padron Golding | Singer-songwriter born in Loughborough UK to British and Spanish parents. Mel's roots are firmly entrenched in the two cultures. A mix of her youth was spent in England and the Canary Island, Tenerife. Tenerife was the springboard for her music career as she became one of the youngest public performers' during the mid-'80s on the island. Mel was discovered by acclaimed record producer and multi-platinum award winner Mike Myers who became her music mentor for the next decade. Mel captured the hearts of record producers Phil Ramone and Mike Appel in the USA furthering her professional development in the music industry. In 2003, she joined forces with Aswad's lead singer Brinsley Forde who took management and introduced Mel to songwriter-producer Tony Delaney where the album 'Miracle' was born. Years later, Mel joined a London-based rock band 'RIME' and worked with songwriter-producer George de Angelis who wrote and produced their single 'Go Forth And Multiply'. Mel has a twist to her story and is gaining interest globally from her podcast show 'Facing Mel's Music'. In this show, she interviews new and upcoming artists worldwide to explore their experiences in the music industry. Mel has written a book that reflects her emotional journey throughout the industry, she felt it important to highlight the harsh realities when trying to succeed in music along with the love for music and the need to look after mental health and spirituality. Mel finds writing very therapeutic and feels it is one of the most effective ways of expressing inner content. Many of her songs reflect this with honesty and tend to have a twist in their lyrical content. When Mel writes, she delves very deeply into the meaning and enjoys the process of producing several angles to the material. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ioana Mândrescu | Ioana Mândrescu is a Romanian born sound artist and musician. She is a classical pianist and completed her music studies in her home country, France and Belgium. Her interest in contemporary music was stirred during the time spent at École Normale de Musique 'Alfred Cortot' in Paris. This led to the foundation of two contemporary music groups, Quivir Ensemble, based in Spain and Switzerland and Opia Ensemble, based in Belgium. Strongly influenced by choreography and painting, in the past years she developed, together with her groups, performances that brought together sound, film and dance. They were presented in Belgium – Bozar Opening Night 2015, Festival Courants d'Airs, Poland – FAMA Festival and Iran – First Edition of the Contemporary Music Festival in Tehran. Her life-long involvement with music and her interest in field recordings and the universe of digital sound manipulation led her naturally towards sound art, which led her to study at EPAS programme in Ghent (BE), graduating in 2018. Her main interests are the human voice and human produced sounds and their impact on the way we perceive the world. She is currently working on a database of human voices and on several sound-collage pieces that mark distinct moments in human history. | |
