Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | [name_withheld] | [name_withheld] | A slashercore rapper from [location_withheld], [a9640177] started in 2011. His initial album, 'the Darkness,' released in July of 2012 and his first performance was at SKR's Strictly For The Wicked Festival 2012. He would perform at several more of their festivals, as well as the 607 Family Gathering and SHE's Night of the Shrunken Heads Festival. His live performances are filled with provocative and offensive imagery, including blood, fire, desecration of sacred, religious, and political items, nudity, and general debauchery and mayhem. This behaviour has gotten him banned from venues, record labels, and bands, to which he seems to care very little. |

He also was taught by Emile Angel in Paris and Julius Kyuper in Vienna. During this time(1927-1928), he won 1st Prize at Cenacolo Society competition in Rome and in 1932 won a Silver medal at an International Competition in Vienna, the first by an Asian artist. While in Rome, he sang for a welcoming party for His Eminence Cardinal van Russum of the Netherlands and charmed him with Mascagni’s “Ave Maria,” Franck’s “Paris Angelicus” and Japanese songs. He was so impressed by his “angelic voice” as he called it, he wanted to baptize him personally which he did a few months later. His baptism name was Paul. Later under the auspices of Japan Polydor where he was a recording artist, he went to Berlin and graduated from State Berlin Music Conservatory. During 1932 to 1936 he recorded many Japanese songs on 78 rpm which became very popular in Japan as well as performing in the first opera by Kousaku Yamada. While in Berlin attending school, he also recorded at Gramaphone studio in Berlin, songs from German popular movies of that time like Merry Widow and the like which became a big hit in Japan. He was an educator as well and taught at Ochanomizu University and Yokohama National University. He became president of Showa Ongaku University 1988. Born 12 June 1903, died 27 January 1993. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Modules Plus | Nick DeJohn, Israel Haiglar | Modules Plus began in 2013 as any other bedroom producer, with founder Nick DeJohn inspired by a live set by an artist named Baths, and continues to be inspired by sleepless nights, boring aspects of life, and nostalgia. His room is slowly shrinking and he doesn't know how to stop it. Since then, the project has been worked on on and off, but it has recently resurfaced with a focus on live performance, incorporating Israel Haiglar as a vocalist, guitarist, and additional synth player, while Nick plays synths, live drums, and different noise makers over punchy Akai MPC drums. They use both gloomy and hopeful warm drum textures and nauseatingly detuned synthesizers. This project has always been an integral piece in Nick's life, and will remain so when he finishes his training to recover the lost medallion and avenge his family. The next M+ EP will be their first as a duo. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. | Born & raised in Washington, DC, this brother is on a mission to create awareness in his community by way of the hip hop culture; he is a brother who mesmerizes the ear with a sound that’s all his own; a brother who has a distinctive style of body moving beats and rhyme; a brother that’s not your conventional rapper. If you haven’t guessed, this brother is Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. – a Brother Mainly Addressing Negative Information About the Community. On top of telling symbolic stories of life, struggle, dreams, goals, aspirations and the plight of society through his music, Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. is constantly creating music for the Indie Community to reflect, vibe, and party to. This music inspires and grabs hold of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. As many indie artists continue to go with the flow of the music industry, Brother MANIAC makes it his business to go against the grain. He speaks out against issues such as drugs, crime, police brutality, homelessness, and many others. Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. has many accomplishments. In 2006…. Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. was nominated for the (Best Rap Recording) “Wammie” Washington Area Music Awards. His music created such a buzz from 2005 to 2006, he was awarded “Artist of the Year” by Hype Magazine. During his Army stint from 2003-2005, Operation Iraqi Freedom, he received numerous awards; 4 Army Commendation Medals and 5 Army Achievement medals for his dedication to the Maryland Army National Guard. Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. has also performed throughout the United States. Some notable performances have been at the Hip Hop Palooza Tour 2006(New York, NY; Philadelphia; Baltimore; Washington, DC; and Atlanta, GA); The Upper State Tour (Syracuse, NY; Rochester, NY; Toledo, OH); and The Grinders Tour of 2007(Washington, DC-Charlotte, NC- Atlanta, GA). Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. has opened for Petey Pablo and Bone Thugs in Harmony, just to name a couple. Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. mentions: We had a huge show in NC at the Triangle Record Pools Annual Summer Jam. The audience was like 10,000 people! The reaction was like something from a Jacksons Tour back in the day!! Conspiracy, his 2006 thought-provoking album, steadily climbed the charts and contained the Top 30 hit single “School No More” along with other smooth, R&B/hip-hop singles such as, I wonder, Eye Don’t Know (Reached 1 in Australia), Imagine, and Get Ur Groove On. These singles not only made people dance, but more importantly it touched on those important issues that he has continually worked to bring awareness to. His soon to be released project is entitled “Still Rising.” So other than the obvious. What are his career goals??? He firmly states: My goals are to continue to build Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. Music as a promotion company to assist artists in building their buzz and selling music either CDs and/or digital downloads along with merchandise, such as T-Shirts. I want to tour and have chart singles nationally for Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. and many of my closest associates & clients. My intentions are to complete a Hip Hop for the Homeless National Tour in at least 8 cities and in at least 3 international cities. I want to increase sales of CD’s and digital downloads around the globe. I also would like to continue to build upon the DMV Music Awards. I am definitely looking to maintain a presence on the national scene for 2009 and beyond. Brother M.A.N.I.A.C. is not afraid to express issues that truly affect society, and he does it well. “Hip-Hop music is not a thing of the past.” He declares. Brother Mainly Addressing Negative Information About the Community will not allow it to be.
