Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | GreenSugar | GreenSugar is a 4 piece Rock N Roll quartet from Chicago IL. The band was born in the Great West after singer/guitarist Parker Dodson rode a three legged pack Mule across the Great Plains and through the Rockies to LA. After years of intense worship in the Ancient house of Troy, a group of priests were brought together to begin spreading the Gospel of Rock that Dodson had unearthed. These sage characters stormed the Sunset Strip and much of the Southern California coast for many moons until they realized that the diseases of modern society had poisoned the good people of this land so totally that their words could simply not be heard…and so this dreamer left for greener pastures… Upon returning to Chicago, Dodson promptly tracked down his childhood friend Jon Patrick Luby, a former Buffalo rider and freelance wildfire fighter, to provide rhythms and power. The two then set off around the Midwest gigging for the better part of a year with nothing but an oxen pulled cart and a roaming minstrel named Ubaldo. During their travels the band met a young saint named Michael “Swedish” Starcevic in the bowels of one of Chicago’s largest holy houses. St. Swedish had been raised studying many of the same scriptures as these men and despite a harrowing flight aboard an ostrich named Carroll he continued to worship the Gospel. Thus after a three day Walkabout in the woods of Wisconsin to cleanse his Inner Soul it was decided that he would join the cause. This band of brothers now numbering four foraged on; spreading their words of wisdom for thousands of lost souls until one night after an exhausting three hour ceremony a man arose from the crowd and introduced himself simply as, “the Pope.” He offered his services as the Bassman to Patrick’s pounding thunder and after calling upon the ghosts of Lord Vildamont Jameson it was ordained that his Holiness take his seat as the Ying to Patrick’s Yang. Since that fateful evening the band has wandered the streets of America delivering its message to the needy and consequently slaughtering its enemies along the way. Their songs speak of hope and irony, and the experiences the band have undergone and are now the foundation for the band’s explosive live set, which has been seen alongside such Rock N Roll Icons as Warren Haynes and Gov’t Mule, Les Claypool, and The Black Crowes. The band is now currently on tour throughout the Midwest and hoping for the opportunity to change your mind…about everything. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Billa Ensemble | BILLA ENSEMBLE was formed in the winter of 2023 on the rare occasion of Michiu, the concept horse, Turmeric Acid and Marie Vermont coming together in Vienna. Coming from different musical backgrounds, a dedication to working with and manipulating magnetic tape in various forms (reel to reel, cassette, minicassette) ties the members together and informs the group‘s approach to music making, improvisation and listening. This shared approach is then broadened into different forms of electroacoustic and analog instrumentation in live performance through the use of bells, contact mics, mallets, feedback, analog synths, guitars and even odd handheld electronic kitchen devices. Each member is active with diverse solo projects as well as curating small labels for experimental music on tape: Czaszka Records, Molt Fluid, Beach Buddies Records, eë editions. Michiu / electric guitars the concept horse / no input feedback, bells, reel to reel tape machine, dictaphone Turmeric Acid / tapes, contact microphones, objects Marie Vermont / contact mics, effects, keys, tetrax, tape, mallets, cymbal | |

Kings of Kaivinkone was a short lived project which started as a joke by the two remaining members of Ever Had. Tracks were meant to be created in 3 hours or less, otherwise they were thrown away. The music itself was created to be horribly noisy to the point where it will irritate the listener. Each track was either made with legal samples or legal software, but not both. It is uncertain whether more material will be created in the future. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Dario Raucea | Dario Raucea | Dario was born in Siracusa (Syracuse), Italy, in 1912, to Italian parents. He died in Rome in 1988. He began his studies at the age of 10. Alfredo Casella first recognised his outstanding talent, and Raucea studied with him and Bardi in Rome. He then studied in Vienna with Professor Weingarten and was a pupil of Emil von Sauer. Sauer said of him, when Dario was twenty: "I greet in you the great pianist of the new generation". Dario was widely acclaimed in Italy, Europe, South Africa, England and Australia. His memory was prodigious and included the whole of Chopin's output, the thirty-two sonatas of Beethoven, Bach's "Forty-Eight", all the piano works of Liszt and a great many works by Schumann, Schubert, Brahms and others. A press comment from 1949: “Never have I heard such ravishing piano-playing as the overwhelming performance by Dario Raucea. This incomparable Italian master is superior to any artist that has visited us during the last ten years.” - Prof. Dr. B. Kok, in “Die Volksblad,” 13th April, 1949. He toured South Africa in 1954/55, where he drew many comments on his playing, like this: "For mourners who perpetually bemoan the passing of the giants of the keyboards, there was much comfort to be obtained at the Concert last night. A young man whose fingers have the speed of light and the ability to draw forth tones of enchanting beauty, made his first appearance here. His name is Dario Raucea. Mark it well, for you will hear it mentioned in exalted places before long". A note from his nephew, posted on YouTube in 2023: "His wife and my grandmother was Laetitia Boschi Huber of Swiss origin who was a poet in her youth as well as a multifaceted and very intelligent woman with a thousand interests, so much so that in her old age she was one of the first Italian women entrepreneurs (a well-known Italian weekly magazine, "Gente", made an article about her together with Anna Bonomi Bolchini as an example of Italian women entrepreneurs). He stopped playing the piano from one day to the next. I remember when I was little, I asked him why, and he replied that if he hadn't practised for one day only, he would have noticed, after two days, his admirers would have noticed, and after three days everyone would have noticed. He adored me as I was his first nephew, but he had no temperament as easy as all artists; he could play anything of any composer, but then he was not able to cook 2 fried eggs. Besides Beethoven, he listened to Mahler, Brahms, Haydn, Liszt and Rachmaninoff, of which he said it was difficult to play his works." Notable concerts he performed (incomplete list): Roma. Sala Accademica di via dei Greci. Tuesday 8th March 1938. h16.00 - Solenne tornata accademica in commemorazione di Maurice Ravel Roma. Teatro Adriano. Wednesday 2nd May 1945. Ciclo di sinfonie, concerti e musiche celebri : concerto orchestrale diretto da Robert Lawrence, con la partecipazione del pianista Dario Raucea Cape Town. City Hall. Thursday 2nd June 1949. h 20:00 + Wednesday 15th June / Tuesday 21st June / Wednesday 22nd June. Cape Town. Stellenbosch. 17th June 1949 Birmingham. C.B.S.O. Tuesday 1st March 1955. h 19:30 London. Royal Albert Hall. Saturday 10 September 1955. h 19:30 - Prom 43 - Henry Wood Promenade Concerts Sydney. Celebrity Recordings. 20 May 1957. h 10:45 Sydney. Granados. 29 October 1958 |

| Search | Add | 2 | Waes One | A veteran of the California hip hop scene, Oakland based-and-bred producer Waes One has been putting out a steady stream of acclaimed material since his 1997 debut release Instrumentalz. Known for his rich, atmospheric arrangements and classic hip hop production sensibilities, Waes has anchored a multitude of releases over the last two decades. As half of the duo Compound Elements in the late 90's and early 2000's, Waes brought his signature dark, sample heavy sound to prominence with EP releases in 1999 and 2001, followed by the 2003 full length album, The Struggle. Subsequent work with LA-based duo Substance Abuse, featured on the albums Overproof (2006) and Background Music (2013), saw the two MCs ripping Waes One instrumentals alongside legendary MCs such as KRS-ONE ("Rear View"), MC Eiht ("Flossin'"), Tash ("Don't Get Us Wrong") and Saafir ("Sickness"). 2011 saw Waes landing production features on the irreverent Not the 1's EP Why You Cryin'?, and the follow-up, 2016's Everybody's Rappin'. Waes's productions on the latter release included "You Wack" featuring legendary New York MC Kool Keith. Hard Listening (2012), the solo debut from LA born and bred, Oakland based wordsmith Mawnstr (Connoisseurs, Gooch Gang), further cemented Waes One's legacy as a production guru, with the single "The Next Edition (3 Hippos)" featuring Prince Po of Organized Konfusion leading the charge. In 2015, The Gooch Gang's The Gooch EP brought even more accolades, with Waes' high-powered instrumentation driving the 1-2 lyrical punch of MCs Mawnstr and Kaliban. The release featured the standout single "Go Get It" featuring Gunplay. Waes continues his streak of hard-hitting full album productions in 2018 with Dub Esquire's full-length release The Return, featuring Del the Funky Homosapien, P.E.A.C.E. of Freestyle Fellowship, Mawnstr, Deuce Eclipse and more. Carefully crafting his own unmistakable sound over the years, Waes One has kept the rap game grounded in the midst of an era of unprecendented change, remaining innovative and fresh while maintaining respect for the fundamentals of the artform. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | John Davidge | Reginald John Davidge | Comedian, singer and songwriter who hailed from south-west England. His lyrics and stand-up comedy act often dealt with subjects that were politically motivated or considered a little controversial for the time. Davidge began his career in the mid-'50s, using the moniker 'Reg Gray' (not to be confused with the Australian entertainer of the same name), performing in theatrical plays, musicals, and films alongside the likes of [a=Michael Caine] and [a=Sean Connery]. He appeared in the film 'Tom Thumb' (1958) and was in a West End production of 'Mr Pickwick'. In 1967, he came to the attention of the wider public when he won Granada TVs talent show, 'First Timers'. Part of the prize for winning was a contract with manager Harvey Lisberg, who was at the time mainly known for being the manager of [a=Herman's Hermits]. Though the association with Lisberg was short-lived, it wasn't fruitless, as it was through the Lisberg connection that Davidge co-wrote The Man From Nazareth with [a=Eric Stewart], [a=Kevin Godley], and [a=Lol Creme]. It got to no.25 in the UK singles chart in 1970 and was his only hit record. Maureen Prest became his manager and it was during this time that Davidge wrote a song supporting the miners' strike, simply called 'The Miners' Song'. The BBC deemed that giving it airtime would make it appear that they supported the strike, so chose to ban the record from their airwaves. In return, Prest declared that she had banned the BBC from playing it. In 1977, Davidge was involved in a car accident in Belfast that left him with injuries so serious that it effectively put an end to his career. He and Prest went their separate ways in 1978 and he settled down with a new partner who spent much of the early-'80s helping him recuperate and to recover his memory. He withdrew from public life and remained private until his death in 2011. Born: 1930 in Bath, Somerset, England. Died: 1st January 2011, in Bath, Somerset, England. |
