Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Juno Kids | Electronic project from the USA. Formed in 2017. Juno Kids is an experimental IDM/Synthwave project from experienced duo Derek Mount (Brique a Braq/Former Family Force 5) and Philip Zach (Silver Pages/Arrows and Sound/Former Remedy Drive). The prolific songwriters/producers have written a combined 11 number one singles and 22 charting songs across various Billboard charts, and have performed more than 3,000 live concerts with their respective former bands: Remedy Drive and Family Force 5 (including Bamboozle, Sonisphere, Warped Tour). Each partner has culled an extensive track record in licensing, combining for more than 3,000 sync licenses collectively in films (Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal); commercials (Chevrolet, BMW, Blackberry); television (MTV, VH1, CMT); sporting events (ESPN, WWE, NHL), and more. The pair originally met in 2009, when their bands shared more than 40 tour dates together. A compelling friendship formed between Mount and Zach, rooted in a shared passion for theology, fitness, and electronic music. In the summer of 2014, the two reunited serendipitously, as Instagram revealed to each friend that the other was simultaneously vacationing in Europe. During their rendezvous in the garden of Versailles, the duo made an agreement to collaborate musically.

After the recording of an amazing demo in 1993, they won several national contests (such as "Arezzo Wave" and "Rock Targato Italia") and some of their songs appeared on italian compilations. Sadly in the summer of 1995 they split in two different bands (one keeping the longer name and the other one simply called "Gatti Distratti") before quitting in the late 90's. Della Monica brothers and songwriter Davide Munno recently joined once again recording new songs and performing some live gigs.

Search | Add | 2 | Meadow Creek | “Meadow Creek” is a duo (and also Mr and Mrs) Linda and Peter Dahl from Degerfors. Linda is a singer and songwriter who got her first record deal at the age of 17 when she was the lead singer in the band “Angel”. A few years later, the band got a hit with the song “Sommaren i city”, which became a Swedish summer classic, and is still played regularly at Swedish radio. Peter is a multi-instrumentalist / producer and songwriter who started as a touring guitarist at the age of 11. (!) As a member of the cover band “Peckas Pack” he has cut off most of Sweden’s party scenes. In 1996, the couple Dahl joined and started one of Sweden’s first ABBA tribute shows together with some friends from Stockholm, “S.O.S – a tribute to ABBA”, touring in both Sweden and the rest of Europe for 16 years! Meanwhile their love for bluegrass and country music grew stronger and Linda and Peter started the band “Whisky & Dynamite” which became very popular on the Swedish country scenes. W & D recorded and released 2 albums in 2006-2009 and their songs entered radio stations all over the world. As songwriters, the couple has written a lot of songs among various artists / bands for example: Roger Pontare, Streaplers, Blender, Sten & Stanley, Drifters, Fernandoz, Barbados, Black Jack and Fryd & Gammen, Fernandoz and others. They have had several songs at “Svensktoppen” and they also wrote the song who won “Melodifestivalen” in Sweden in the year of 2000. Their song “När vindarna viskar mitt namn” (cowriter : Thomas Holmstrand) was performed by the artist Roger Pontare. The song won the Swedish final and then ended up at 7th in Eurovision Song Contest. They also competed in other countries selections for the Eurovision song contest. In 2016 they wrote the song “Golden Frame” (artist: Matilda & Stefan) who won the regional final in “Svensktoppen nästa”, which Sveriges Radio P4 organizes. In recent years, the couple also worked with Starlab Publishing and wrote J-pop and K-pop songs to the Asian market. Right now, the radar couple Dahl is in focus with their new duo “Meadow Creek”, and released their debut album ”Til death do us part” in December 2017 . It’s mostly their own material in the style of singer-songwriter / country / Americana or “swedicana” as a reviewer called their style. Producer of the record is Göran Eriksson (Black Lake Music), which is known as the band leader / guitarist in Jill Johnson’s band. In the beginning of 2019 Meadow Creek signed with “Lamon Records Nashville” who is now promoting the duo in the states and worldwide.

Search | Add | 2 | Frank Dailey | Big band and swing violinist and bandleader and owner of Meadowlark swing dance club in New Jersey. Born 1901 in Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA. Died on February 27, 1956 in Montclair, New Jersey, USA (55 years old). He made his first broadcast over station WJZ, then located in Newark. In 1926, he was playing at the Knickerbocker Grill in New York. In April of 1931, He and three of the original members of his orchestra bought the old Pavillion Royal in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, and made it a home spot for the band, rechristening it "The Meadowbrook." His orchestra was then dubbed "Frank Dailey and his Meadowbrook Orchestra" and broadcast three to four times weekly over CBS networks. Dailey was the figurehead of the Meadowlark. It became more famous then Dailey's orchestra as it became one of the hot spots in the country to play at and be at. It was one of the most important venues for dance bands throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Many big-name acts played there including Tommy Dorsey's Orchestra, Mal Hallett, Glen Gray's Casa Loma Orchestra, Red Norvn, Isham Jones, Llittle Jack Little, and others. Many recorded at the Meadowbrook and it was often attached to the title or releases such as "Jack Teagarden And His Orchestra Live at Frank Dailey's Meadowbrook". In 1937, Frank and his orchestra made front-page headlines all over the country by changing their style: although his orchestra was then rated one of America's top swing groups, he switched to a "sweet" style which he christend 'Stop 'n' Go." Swing was at the height of its popularity, but Dailey believed he had created a new style in dance rhythms. Within six months, they were as popular for their new style as their old.

Their shows are realtime improvised performances to a high degree, making use of stolen footage (‘live plunderphonics’) - samples and microsamples from existing records (oldschool pop, classical music, film soundtracks), combined with own electronically generated sounds, field recordings, etc. Instant unique puzzles made from bits of our common past and present. Flow of unpredictable situations where Madonna meets Edgard Varèse, old computer game music sounds together with the film soundtracks, phragments of J. S. Bach or socialist pop icons. Voice Over Noise are the live recycle bin of our postmodern culture: noisy, energetic, sometimes funny, but also sentimental refreshment of our collective memory.

Search | Add | 2 | Waily | Ville Immonen | Ville Immonen has been driven to all kind of music as long as he can remember, but the closest thing to his heart has always been electronic music. After listening hardtrance and hardcore for the very first time... there simply was no turning back. Main reason for Waily to start Dj'ing was the lack of real Hardcore music in Finland. Waily loves hard banging sounds and that can be seen in his performances. By playing Darkcore and Hardcore with supreme attitude and wild tricks, he has earned his place as a member & promoter of wellknown concepts: Mayhem, Terrorcraft. In 2008 Waily has also joined the Baltic Storm Artist Agency after numerous successful gigs in Estonia. Waily has been producing his own sound for more than 10 years, as his main project he produces Hardcore under the name of Waily. In the year 2007 he launched the project Novistador for more darker and evil sounds. Waily has co-ed with many artists such as Dave Dope, Pagan, Nomic, Dj Neon, Input C etc. Waily is one of the three founders of Terrorcraft along with Input C and Nomic. These hard music loving artists just ended up together, created a few tracks and became a very good friends. The idea of Terrorcraft developed little by little and finally at the end of 2003 they decided to organize a party. The very first Terrorcraft event came true in January 23th 2004. Since then this enegetic concept has evolved a lot and stands tall with a bunch of high quality Dj's and Live performances. |
