Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Trueno Azul | Heavy Metal / Hard Rock band from La Paz, Bolivia. After recording a demo, the band signed with the [l=Discolandia] label to rerecord the songs for an official release, but their virtuoso lead guitarist Mario Ibáñez tragically passed away before they could enter the studio. The original versions recorded for the demo were used on their unique release that the remaining members named "Mario" as an homage to their leader. Following the release of the single, the band broke up. The "40 Años De Rock Boliviano 1963 - 2003" Compilation [Discolandia, 2003] later featured their song "El Corcel Negro". TRUENO AZUL is one of the most iconic bands of the initial era of Bolivian heavy metal, originating in the Miraflores neighborhood of the city of La Paz, thanks to the musical union of two families, the Ibañez and the Morales. The origin of the band dates back to the first half of the decade of the 80s, constituting itself primarily as a band of covers of the greatest and most famous influences of heavy metal worldwide, which was represented in the intercollegiate festivals at the Colegio San Calixto, between the years 1982 and 1983, most recently position themselves as one of the favorites of the pace scene in the media of 1985 who brought out all their talent as far as the interior of the country playing scenes as big as the Trilogy and Rhapsody of Santa Cruz among the caliber of invitees and representatives of the pace rock scene. Following the birth of Mauricio Torres del Puesto as vocal lead in the band in 1986: Gonzalo Emil Ibañez, first and master of the guitarists Alejandro Ibañez and Mario Ibañez, on the other hand we hold the masters Jose Luis Morales on the bass and Juan Carlos Morales on the drums; This formation would take TRUENO AZUL to the pinnacle of its car. They participated with great success in the "Monstruo" festival which took place at the Teatro al Aire Libre in August 1987 at Argos and Surmenage, other important festivals such as "Rock Bol 87", which took place at the Coliseo Cerrado at Puca´s, Luz de América and Wara among others; The National Rock Festival in Russia joined the great local "Heavy Metal", also in the Intercollegiales organized by Trilogy and Rhapsodia in 1987 in distinct scenes. In the second half of 1987, the group met in the process of recording their first EP, in Yecid Benavidez's R&B studios, when a second tragedy occurred due to the death of the group's first guitarist MARIO IBAÑEZ. Shortly after this the band would access the demo on the Discolandia MCB track (MS-7), the same theme would revolve around a simple home that the band wanted to return to "Mario" and in this way the album was titled in this way, containing two songs: "El Corcel Negro" and "Sabor a Metal" In 1988, the concert "Homenaje a Mario Ibanez" was performed at the Teatro Municipal de La Paz, with the participation of Prinks, Dies Irae, Om and Laura Hess. Additionally, an unprecedented award ceremony was held to honor the best young musicians of the year 87, where the late Trueno Azul guitarist received a posthumous award. Despite the tragic loss of their leader, the band, now a solid quatuor, continued to produce themselves on stage, and in 1988, a memorable return concert took place at the Teatro al Aire Libre on 26 June, alongside the Alto Voltaje, Black Mass and Public Opinion bands. After a few shows, the band finally dissolved, leaving behind its existence a rock myth that has lasted for more than 35 years. TRUENO AZUL "legacy" 1986 line-up : Jose Luis Morales (Bass) Alejandro Ibañez (Rhythm Guitar) Gonzalo Emil Ibañez (Vocals) Juan Carlos Morales (Drums) Mario Ibañez (Lead Guitar) Mauricio Torres (Vocals : 1982-1983) Luis Carrión (Vocals : 1981) | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Onionbreath | Boz Mugabe - Bass, vocals, artwork Graham "Onion" Neville - Drums Peter Carey - Guitar and Simon Geraghty - Second vocals on Cyberman Vibrations BIO - ....ONIONBREATH.... ....(October 1990 - February 1994).... ....Somewhere north of the green strip of market gardening (when there was such a thing), a bunch of malcontents came together with borrowed equipment and indulged in that common and altogether unremarkable suburban habit - they formed a shoddy punk band... ...Inspired by local heroes (as we saw them) Not Our World and a bunch of others home and abroad, some manner of vision was concocted and within 6 weeks we had blagged our way onto a bill in the ubiquitous White Horse Inn (subsequently the Attic, then a shitty living room with a bar in the corner) through our mentors Ogre ... "mentor" in the sense of borrowing everything from PAs to plectrums every time we wanted to do anything!!... ....The next year or so saw us buffer the bell-end of local band bills in city centre pubs, playing with Ogre, Sloth, Shred, The GrownUps, Ciunas, The Afflicted... and slightly later... SMH, Mush Flubbah, Arnheim, Jam Jar Jail, Concrete Sox, The Flying Kidney, Crossbreed, Dr Shitface, Stigmatamartyr, Life But How To live It, Pincher Martin, the Mexican Pets, DIRT, Slunk, Flexihead, the Spermbirds!!!... and many more that time has been harsh to the memory of... ...Onionbreath rehearsed in a garage, a tiny shed and a bedroom - and subsequently recorded under similar zero budget circumstances - the STINK EP ('91) was laid to tape on a 4 track running through a DCC with programmed drums. About 100 of these were dubbed on a twin tape deck with hand made labels glued to the tape shells. In the tradition of many bands in this genre, the complete lack of traditional musical prowess dictates that you basically start with nothing and while most initial output is disposable, sometimes you accidentally stumble upon that which gives a band it's sound/ personality... ...Onionbreath was never a fast band, nor one that was ever going to moderate itself within the trappings of an orthodox punk sound. The album length CYBERMAN VIBRATIONS ('93) consisted of a handful of experimental bedroom recordings as well as songs that were an integral part of the live set. At this point the techincal aspects had improved slightly... Brian from Ogre had acquired a 12 track desk with 9 tracks actually working on it, formerly belonging to the Radiators! Running 2 channels into this from the 4 track for stereo meant we had 9 to work with before we needed to start bouncing tracks... this way we were able to record the basics live in our drummer's bedroom and add tracks (hide our mistakes?) later... The various bedroom recordings were added in and sequenced on a "master" before we hit the twin tape decks again, and the "unlegendary" sunburst cyberman covers (our answer to all the rave graphics at the time) were moonlighted during a FAS course. This cassette got some very positive reviews on it's release and sold well, although in hindsight, this was Dublin in '93 and independent music was still in nappies, so there was definitely more empathy with zero budget operations... ...Towards the end of 1993 there were plans laid for a 7" single to be released in the summer of 1994 (we even got as far as making the plates for the sleeve), but as we all meandered off in our own direction, the last official business of Onionbreath was a gig in Fusion on O'Connell Street with Flexihead (this may very well have been their last gig too???)... ...Time has blurred much of that era but some fond memories include rehearsing in the drummer's shed and standing in the snow outside playing bass because there was so little room. Bullshitting a member of Ogre that State Of Shock by the Ex was our new demo was a moment definitely worth a mention, and of course the proudest moment live would have to be supporting the Spermbirds when they rolled through Dublin all those years ago. Then there were the many multi-bills upstairs in the Fox & Pheasant where 6-7 bands would use the same gear, sometimes right down to straps and plectrums, which would inevitably end with that long forgotten rite of passage - running for the last bus with a drum kit!!! ...While we were merely one of many who learned their chops around this time and went onwards and upwards with other ventures, the determination to contribute to underground culture in the city (without maybe ever fully integrating into it) and the resolution to beat general tedium with something constructive was the driving force behind the brief lifetime of Onionbreath..... | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Rastko Obradović | Rastko Obradovic | A new force on European jazz scene, Rastko Obradović, is a 24-year-old saxophonist from Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated Jazz Performance at Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo in 2017. During studies in Norway Rastko got to know and understand Norwegian culture through academic and professional engagement, friendship and everyday life. “One of the most important things I’ve learned there is significance of spending time in nature and to what extent it has a positive effect on all aspects of life.” Being born and raised in Serbia, Rastko is familiar with Balkan and Oriental music tradition and improvisation styles. In Norway he studied jazz performance, but also explored Norwegian folk and Indian music. On his journey from East to North and beyond, Rastko developed authentic sound and unique improvisation style. This, apart from being receptive, moderate, but still aware of his qualities, led him to share the stage with many international artists including Bojan Z, Arkady Shilkloper, Dhafer Youssef, Eivind Aarset, Vasil Hadžimanov, Hermund Nygård, Miloš Branisavljević Quartet, Simen Halvorsen, Schime Trio, Marko Đorđević, to name a few. In November 2018, Rastko Obradović toured Latvia as a member of Euroradio Jazz Orchestra. Rastko Obradovic is also a composer and arranger. He has recorded two projects as an author: Wabi Sabi in duo with Paris-based pianist of his home land, Bojan Z (digitally released EP on AMP Music & Records, Norway) and Northern Experience, a first full length album with his Norwegian quartet (to be released in 2019 on AMP Music & Records) featuring Martin Gjerde (piano), Alexander Hoholm (double bass), Raymond Lavik (drums) and Arkady Shilkloper (French horn) as a special guest. In April 2019 Rastko received The Best Young Artist award from Jazz, Rock & Pop Musicians’ Association of Serbia. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Aiden Wilson Tozer | Aiden Wilson Tozer (April 21, 1897 – May 12, 1963) was an American Christian pastor, preacher, author, magazine editor, and spiritual mentor.[1] For his work, he received two honorary doctorate degrees. Biography Hailing from a tiny farming community in western La Jose, Pennsylvania, his conversion was as a teenager in Akron, Ohio. While on his way home from work at a tire company, he overheard a street preacher say "If you don't know how to be saved... just call on God, saying, 'Lord, be merciful to me a sinner.'" Upon returning home, he climbed into the attic and heeded the preacher’s advice. In 1919, five years after his conversion, and without formal theological training, Tozer accepted an offer to pastor his first church. This began 44 years of ministry, associated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), a Protestant Evangelical denomination; 33 of those years were served as a pastor in a number of churches. His first pastorate was in a small storefront church in Nutter Fort, West Virginia. Tozer also served as pastor for 30 years at Southside Alliance Church, in Chicago (1928 to 1959), and the final years of his life were spent as pastor of Avenue Road Church, in Toronto, Canada. In observing contemporary Christian living, he felt that the church was on a dangerous course toward compromising with "worldly" concerns. Born into poverty, Tozer was self-educated teaching himself what he missed in high school and college due to his home situation.[2] In 1950, Tozer received an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Wheaton College. It was May 1950, when Tozer was elected editor of the Alliance Weekly magazine, now called, Alliance Life, the official publication of the C&MA.[3] From his first editorial, titled Quality vs Quantity dated June 3, 1950, he wrote, "It will cost something to walk slow in the parade of the ages, while excited men of time rush about confusing motion with progress. But it will pay in the long run and the true Christian is not much interested in anything short of that." In 1952, he received an honorary LL.D. degree from Houghton College.[4] Among the more than 60 books that bear his name, most of which were compiled after his death from sermons he preached and articles he wrote, at least two are regarded as Christian classics: The Pursuit of God and The Knowledge of the Holy. Many of his books impress on the reader the possibility and necessity for a deeper relationship with God. Tozer had seven children, six boys and one girl. Living a simple and non-materialistic lifestyle, he and his wife, Ada Cecelia Pfautz, never owned a car, preferring bus and train travel. Even after becoming a well-known Christian author, Tozer signed away much of his royalties to those who were in need. He spent his last years of ministry at Avenue Road Church in the province of Ontario in Toronto, Canada, where he died from a heart attack. He was buried in Ellet Cemetery, Akron, Ohio, with a simple epitaph marking his grave: "A. W. Tozer - A Man of God." [5] His last message, The Waning Authority of Christ in the Churches, printed in the Alliance Weekly and dated May 15th 1963, was published 3 days after his death. His biographer James L. Snyder has suggested that "In a sense it was his valedictory, for it expressed the concern of his heart." Tozer says here "Among the gospel churches Christ is in fact little more than a beloved symbol. . . . The Lordship of Jesus is not quite forgotten, but it has been mostly relegated to the hymnal where all responsibility toward it may be discharged in a glow of pleasant religious emotion." Prayer was of vital personal importance for Tozer. "His preaching as well as his writings were but extensions of his prayer life," comments his biographer, James L. Snyder, in the book, In Pursuit of God: The Life Of A.W. Tozer. "He had the ability to make his listeners face themselves in the light of what God was saying to them," writes Snyder. Over the years many have been inspired by the life and sermons of Tozer. In 2011, Christian music artist Lauren Barlow of BarlowGirl published a compilation of stories told by 59 artists, writers, and leaders about how A.W. Tozer inspired them.[ | |
