Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Don Winsell | [a=Don Winsell] was a Kansas City jazz guitarist, known to be one of the best in the Midwest. He tragically passed away in an automobile accident on September 28, 1968 at age 31. At the time he was the department manager for the Woods Music Company in Overland Park, Kansas. Previously he had a seven year stint playing with [a=Sammy Tucker] in [a=Marilyn Maye]'s band. Winsell could play jazz, pop, Western, and classical music and his career started playing Western music with [a=Gary Sivils]. A memorial concert was held from him in December 1968 with a who's-who list of Kansas City musicians with proceeds going into a trust for the three children that he left behind. An album of recordings was produced posthumously and released in 1969.

Search | Add | 2 | Sarah Ellen Dunlop | Dunlop was considered a pioneer to her peers in the 'gay' community when working in that environment as a musician / songwriter. Being a Canadian openly gay woman put her in a unique marketing position, not only for her singing but for opening one of the first gay & lesbian bars in Toronto, called the Music Room. She founded one of the few openly lesbian bands in the early 70's, called Mama Quilla and also ran her own label imprint "Sara Ellen's Homemade Records" . Sara Ellen Dunlop died from affliction of cancer in 1978. A new band formed after her death and in honor of Mama Quilla, they called themselves Mama Quilla II. They released one 12" 45 in 1982 and from it I picked the song "Angry Young Woman."

Search | Add | 2 | Punch Exciters | Patrick Petruchelli, Willy Sanjuan | After their super hit in Russia “DANCE OF THE FIRE”, a track that Radio Record made big during the last few months it’s time for the long awaited PUNCH EXCITERS “ONE” debut album. After more than two years of sound research, hard work on production as well as a strong development of the PUNCH EXCITERS name this electronic band based in Barcelona, Spain and formed by international DJ/Producer Willy Sanjuan and French-Uruguayan producer and thrilling musician Patrick Petruchelli is ready to take the stages by storm. After several tours in 2007 and 2008 in Latin America the PUNCH EXCITERS guys have already showed their power on the stage in cities like Mexico D.F., Los Cabos in Baja California, Mexico, Margarita Island in Venezuela, Saint Petersburg in Russia, Quito and Cuenca in Ecuador and of course Barcelona, the city where they are based. As a result of their hit on the radio PUNCH EXCITERS was invited to headline the OPEN AIR FESTIVAL 2008 in Saint Petersburg in front of an audience of more than 25.000 people. This concert showed thousands of Russian clubbers what the PUNCH EXCITERS sound is about. Actually it’s all about the fusion of Electro, House, Disco, American Folk music, Tribal Beats, Jazz and eventually some Spanish Classical Music. When PUNCH EXCITERS play live they use real bass, electric guitar, vocoders, synths and keyboards, several synchronized computers, midi controllers, F/X units etc. All of that to create a real concert of electronic music (LIVE SET). There’s also the possibility of having the guys of PUNCH EXCITERS playing at a club their impressive DJ SET with two computers running Ableton Live and two DJS playing alongside. |

Search | Add | 2 | Skelecorps | From the minds of two rabid fans and collectors, comes the most unique musical parody you are likely to ever hear. Based on the now cult classic 80's cartoon "He Man and The Masters Of The Universe" For The Fans By The Fans LLC proudly presents "SKELECORPS" In another dimension on a planet called Eternia. The Supreme Overlord Of Evil, Skeletor and his elite forces have suffered yet another humiliating defeat at the hands of He-Man and The Masters. Finally accepting they cant defeat him head on. Skeletor & Evil Lyn plot to search other dimensions for strong but weak minded soldiers to do his bidding and help him conquer Eternia. Through Evil Lyn's crystal ball they witness a metal concert and people violently smashing each other over mere music. He then decides that using the humans primal reaction to music along with hypnotic magic and brainwashing he will crush He-Man and King Randor by sheer numbers and force, But not even Skeletor could fathom the stomache curling brutality of the human condition and what follows is a tale of action packed campy dark comedy and madness.
