Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Brishen | Canadian gypsy-jazz band. The Brishen line-up includes lead guitarist and leader Quinn Bachand with Richard Moody, a veteran of the Canadian folk music scene, on violin and viola, Reuben Wier on rhythm guitar and vocals and Joey Smith on upright bass. A lover of collaborative work, Quinn Bachand enjoys switching up the line up to keep it fluid, dynamic and exciting. Brishen may at times feature such artists as Connor Stewart on clarinet and saxophone, Tim Croft or Max Ridley on upright bass, Aaron Watson on rhythm guitar and accordion and soulful vocalists Maureen Washington or Emily Braden. Quinn Bachand's Brishen is much more than a Django-esque cover band. Brishen recreates the magic of Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli and the Hot Club de France and in the process brings gypsy jazz into the 21st century and to a whole new generation of discerning music lovers.

Search | Add | 3 | Sevdah Takht | After a successful solo project and a Trio of his own, Bosnian Sevdah musician Damir Imamović (b. 1978, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) makes a new turn with his new band named: Damir Imamović Sevdah Takht. “Takht” used to be a name for small, chamber groups which travelled throughout the Mediterenean and played traditional music of the region. The word “takht” is of a Persian origin and denotes a “stage”, “throne”, “plank” and similar. In Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian it was preserved idiomatically as “tahta” which denotes a “plank”, “tahtali” which means “flat” and associates a so-called “flat song/singing” – one of the most important origins of the today’s Sevdah music genre. Damir Imamović Sevdah Takht calls upon a tradition of bands that cross the borders of actual genres and learn from different traditions. After two very successful CDs with his own Damir Imamović Trio and a couple of CDs solo, with this new band Imamović steps in a direction of understanding sevdah as a genre based on a continuous learning and research. Alongside Imamović, Sevdah Takht are: Nenad Kovačić (b. 1982, Zagreb, Croatia) – A percussionist and a rhythm student with big experience of working on rhythms from the Balkans. In Zagreb he runs a school of African rhythms which he founded after studying with some of the greatest living masters of the craft from Western Africa. He writes for theatre and film and is a regular member of bands such as Afion, Antenat, Naš mali Afro Band. Ivan Mihajlović (b. 1980, Kladovo, Serbia) – One of the most interesting young bass players and authors in the music scene of Belgrade. Regularly plays in bands such as Naked, SviNaPod, Menson Benson, Plava kuća. He spent some time learning in the USA. He writes music for film and theatre.

Storm-clouds darken and envelop the sky, bringing the shadows and nightmarish spirits of night. Varcolaci is a conceptual manifestation of the deep knowledge and ancient powers associated with Vampyrism from Slavic and Pagan magical practices and religion. The depths of meaning are as the vast green vines and snakes which enter the dark earth to find balance between the chthonic and the skies of both storm and night. Varcolaci is an entity created by Akhtya Nachttoter & Azgorh, both are well known for their work together in Black Funeral & Strigoii, as well as their various other entities such as Valefor, Darkness Enshroud, Akhtya, Drowning the Light, Harvest, Ghosts of Oceania, Forgotten Kingdoms - to name a few.

Search | Add | 3 | Elemental Artificial Sphere | The first get-together between Andre Fedorow, Evangelos Mihailidis, Daniel Salinger and Sven Arnold, who where later to become the band EAS, happened at a musician's party in 2003. André Fedorow, who was already known by the artist/producer name "Julian Styles", had various productions and releases behind him so it wasn't a surprise that he got the demos from Sven Arnold and Daniel Salinger that evening. Meanwhile Andre was taking care of various studio productions in 2004 and he came up with more and more ideas for own song material. For the live gigs that were to follow however, he needed the right musicians. Right from the very beginning it was clear, that Sven Arnold should sing the lead vocals. Daniel Salinger was already known through his demo that Andre received at the party. To complete the live band Andre had the studio click track proofed Evangelos Mihailidis in mind who he knew from previous studio productions. These musicians were asked and joined the project immediately. The first incarnation of the band EAS was born and this line up performed various gigs and released some CDs between 2004 – 2007. Sven Arnold left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Sascha Theel for a certain period of time. EAS performs music betweens rock, progressive rock, electronica and pop.

Search | Add | 3 | Justinsayne N8V | Justin Leavitt | Justinsayne N8V exploded onto the independent underground scene in late 2012 with the release of his debut album “RED LIST.” He soon proved to be a serious force to be reckoned with, with his own original rock/rap/native style he calls “RAP & ROLL” or “Pop & Mosh.” His songwriting is smart, complex, and offers a strong positive message while at the same time reminding us of the real world we live in and how we can help change it for the better. He belts out songs of love and respect, real life struggles, and evolving as a race, as we stand up against oppression and hate in all forms. His songs are personal, deep, and straight from the heart, “angry feel good music.” Justinsayne N8V raps in many styles and also sings. He can bust out harmonies, as well as attack metal screams and swoon with a deep soulful smooth growl. He also gained a fast reputation for being a beast on stage and and tearing up live shows. His follow up album, “WAGON BURNER,” proved his talent was not limited to just one good album. It was a beautiful continuation of the brutal in-your-face headbangers mixed with melodic, dark overtones. His songwriting skills, again, are exceptional and thought provoking, backed by amazing music production, plenty of catchy heavy guitar riffs, 808 bass, and turntable scratch action, headbangers and and dance grooves. This Native American underground artist resides in the Northwest, was born and raised in Denver and all over the west. An ojibwe 7th fire warrior of the bear clan, from white earth reservation in Minnesota, he stays true to his roots and traditional ways, always sending positive and informative messages through his music. Justinsayne N8V has six national tours under his belt, touring with some of the biggest names in independent music, as well as performing at huge national festivals and building his home base of justinsayniacs in his home state of Oregon. He has been featured in over 40 collaboration songs with other artists and a familiar face in the underground hustler series of mixtapes. He has been nominated for numerous awards and Wagon Burner was named one of the 10 best albums of 2014 in Oregon. Since the release of his second album, he has toured and rocked stages across the nation non stop, building steam and gaining fans, releasing videos and new singles regularly to keep his justinsayniacs appeased. He has just finished his third album entitled “BORDERLINE PERSONALITY,” which promises to be another amazing journey through the heart, mind, and voice of the man that brings that native thunda. If you are wanting something fresh and completely original to bang your head to, look no further. This is rap for the person that hates rap! From ages 1 to 100, there’s something in there for you to groove too. Look him up online and on most all social media links,or catch him on stage in a city near you. You will not regret it. |

There is almost a deep dubstep influence to their productions, merge that with their skippy drum loops & reggae vocal samples and you’ve got a kind of dubstep infused grime sound that is incredibly rare but easily recognisable." -
