Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Caprice Mondor-Halliwell | Caprice Mondor-Halliwell was born in Dakar, Senegal on July 14, 1985, daughter of the French industrialist and mining magnate Gerard Mondor. While born in Dakar, and of French citizenship, she made Harare, Zimbabwe her primary residence at the age of 24 (2009). She is a certified commercial airline pilot, having flown cargo DC-10s for Avient Aviation, later MD-11s AV Cargo of Zimbabwe. At the age of 15, she discovered disco, listening to modern house music broadcast by Radio FG in Paris. She learned to play the piano at the age of 5 and the violin at the age of 7, and combined with her later interest in disco, pursued music production as a side project from her airline duties. She graduated in 2003 from the Lycée EIB Etoile school in Paris, earning her baccalaureate, and went on to La Sorbonne, earning a degree in Political Science, before deciding to follow her passion and joining a flight academy. She joined Avient Aviation in 2009 as a first officer on the DC-10, and later transitioning to the MD-11. She remained passionate about disco and italodisco, and heavily researched the European contributions to the genres. She married fellow Avient pilot Michael Halliwell in 2010, changing her last name to Mondor-Halliwell. She met Martin Zuniga in New York in 2012, a former business associate of her father, and participated with his production efforts starting in 2013, working long-distance from Harare, and occasionally traveling to the United States. She is a founding member of Alpha Sixty, who released their debut album "Dark City" on April 17, 2015. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | EG Vines | Eric Vines | “Democrat, Republican, it’s written on my face again. This blue and red so black and white, it’s taken over everything!” EG Vines is an artist who leans into the sociopolitical and the release of his latest single, “Them,” is his first chance to release music during a U.S. Presidential election year. The intoxicating division that seems to stay at fever pitch won’t start to tamp down until as a Vines channeling Zack de la Rocha says, we “take the power back!” In a personal sense, Vines took his power back in the fall of 2019 giving his two-week notice to a ten-year career leading energy conservation efforts at a Fortune 500 company in order to tour and focus on songwriting. “Jesus spent 40 days in the desert tempted to give up what he came to earth to do and it took me 10 years in corporate America,” Vines laughs. While the pandemic effectively shut down touring plans for the rest of 2020, Vines used his newly freed time to fine tune and record several singles that point to a full-length record in 2021. A Nashville resident since 2009, Vines says he spent most of the 2010s “drunk, plump and stupid” playing with various rock bands before debuting as a solo artist with 2018 EP Conversation. The full-length follow-up Family Business was released in the fall of 2019 and featured songs in regular rotation on Nashville’s Lightning 100, airplay on XM radio, placements in Billboard, Rolling Stone, Pop Matters and NPR, among others. Drawing comparisons to Neil Young, Jason Isbell and 90s alt-rock acts like Pearl Jam and REM, Vines has developed an eclectic roots rock sound and he aims to approach songwriting from angles less traveled. “Sure, there are plenty of blatant anti-Trump songs – and I might even call him a name in an upcoming song – but I always strive to give people something more than surface level. If I didn’t make you think a bit, I feel like I didn’t do my job.” Look for a steady cadence of singles, videos and potentially cover tunes across the fall before what Vines hopes is plenty of touring in 2021. “The folks that played on this record have been with me for a bit and we’re getting pretty tight. Stay with us and we’ll make sure to give you something special when we’re able to play shows again.” |

At the age of 8, she made her first scene at a school party and continues to participate in many school and municipal events. From the age of 16, it was with the birth of the first album "An ti rimontan" that she touched the hearts of young and old. She then flew to Paris to continue her studies and pursue her musical career and then met Georges Decimus and Jeff Joseph who offered her to join the group Volt-face after their first album created by [a=Patrick Saint-Eloi], [a=Georges Decimus] (co-founder of the KASSAV group') and [a=Jeff Joseph] (Grammacks). It has the distinction of being the only full-time regional professional orchestra in Canadian history. The orchestra was formed shortly after the demise of both the Halifax Symphony Orchestra and New Brunswick Symphony Orchestra. Seeing a need for a full-time professional symphony in the Atlantic region, the orchestra was established by joint committees in Halifax, Sydney, Saint John, Moncton, and Fredericton on 12 June 1968. Conductor Klaro Mizerit led the orchestra from 1968–1977 and conductor Victor Yampolsky led the orchestra from 1977 until the orchestra's demise due to financial problems in 1983. The orchestra made several commercial recordings in the 1970s and was featured on numerous broadcasts on CBC Radio Symphony Nova Scotia rose from it's ashes. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Handmedowns | The Handmedown formed at the end of 1986, playing the Adelaide underground seen with other bands such as the Dust Collection, Mad Turks, Screaming Believers, etc The initial line-up was Trevor Comley on vocals & lead Guitar, Tony Dyer on vocals & rhythm Guitar, Dave Gray on bass and Jason Kilic on drums. Later in 1987 the band recorded a 6 track demo, 5 Comley tracks and 1 Dyer track. Shortly after mixing the demo Dave Gray (later to form Rocket Science) was replaced by Rohan Belton (previously of the Verge, Dust Collection, Garden Path) on bass and vocals. Prior to the final mix, Rohan added some addition vocals to a couple of tracks. These 6 tracks were later released in 2004 on Smashed Records CD - Free Set of Steak Knives, as well as the track Goodbye (Comley) being release on a compilation EP by Swedish magazine Sound Affects (final editional) in 1998. In late 1987 Tony Dyer left the band, and the 3 remaining members went on to record 6 new tracks for the EP "Back to Yourself" released on Greasy Pop Records (88). The band continued to play the Adelaide underground seen, eventually recruiting Scott Allan (also of the Dust Collection) on vocals & rhythm Guitar. The band dispanded in mid 1989. Comley, Dyer and Kilic later reformed as the Adelaide 3 piece power pop band SWERVE, which went on to release the 9 track "SWERVE" tape in 94, the 6 track CD "Let Me Out" in early 97 and a unrelease 4 track demo in 1998. Dyer then went on to join the Stoneage Hearts in 2012, Comley went on to play with the Sack with Allen, and in 2014 joined up with Allen once again for another music project. Belton started up the record label "Smashed Records" in the early 2000's, and played in various other bands including the Mynd Gardeners and the Dust Collection. Dave Gray went on to play in Melbourne band the Electric Guitars and the Freeloader. In 2012 Jason Kilic became the president of the SANFL football club "Sturt", in Adelaide. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Yvan Acosta | Edison Yvan Acosta | Yvan Acosta is a Dominican musician and producer who, alongside his brother Raul Acosta “El Presidente”, formed the internationally acclaimed merengue band Oro Sólido. Born in Barahona, Dominican Republic on July 30, 1965, Yvan was born into a musical family. His father Rafael “Santo” Acosta was a percussionist. And he and his younger brothers Rafael and Raul started a pre-adolescent music group called "Los Sobrinos Del Rey" a Dominican version of the Jackson 5. With this early experience, Yvan was able to further develop his innate musical talent as well as his stage presence. The group went on to perform in two nationally televised shows on the government TV station, channel four, for a show called "Amarillis con los Niños.” As a teen, the family relocated to the United States. With no English skills, Yvan moved to Union City, New Jersey to start his new life. During his high school days at Emerson High School, Yvan began performing güira with local bands, such as “Los Quisqueyanos”, “Kennedy y sus Generales”, merengue singer Fauto Rey and “Willy y El Grupo”. He later begain his studies in music and bass guitar by joining Kennedy's Music World, a local music studio, school, and store, where he met a teacher named Kennedy Cortina. Throughout his 30-year career, Yvan has recorded and performed with Oro Solido. His bass is the original sound that made the group famous, and he is considered a trailblazer for implementing this style of merengue on the bass when the group was founded in 1994. He continues to perform with the group internationally and is well respected in the Latin music industry. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Snehaprabha Pradhan | Snehaprabha Pradhan | Snehprabha Pradhan (actress, singer, screenplay writer, biographer) was very much part of the socialistic movie intelligentsia that roamed the planet in the ’30s and ’40s. Born around 1920s, she was the daughter Vitthalrao Pradhan and Tarabai. Like her contemporaries (Shanta Apte etc), Snehaprabha spent a culturally diverse childhood. The first 10 years of her life took her to Nagpur, Bombay, Poona, Delhi, Calcutta, Lahore and other places. As the story goes, by the age of 18, she was already fluent in 4 languages. Her love for animals was legendary. Dogs and cats and birds were her best friends, and she longed for the day when she would be a doctor, no doubt to take care of humans and animals alike. Sadly, she never went past a couple of years of college. It was probably around the late ’30s, that she got the first jolt of reality. Her father had left the family some years ago, and her mom Tarabai was taken ill, and could no longer support the family. Movies were the last thing on Snehprabha’s mind, but circumstances and good contacts i.e. Chimanbhai Desai of Bombay Talkies led to the first few assignments in films like Saubhagya (1940), Civil Marriage (1940), and Sajani (1940). Thanks to Chimanbhai Desai, she got the first lead role of her career opposite Kishore Sahu in Bombay Talkies’ Punarmilan (1940) – music by Ramchandra Pal with possibly some orchestral guidance by Saraswati Devi. The most popular song of Snehaprabha’s music career was “naacho naacho pyaare man ke mor”. Punarmilan became the biggest hit of her film career and it also introduced her to Kishore Sahu. They met, fell in love, and tied the knot, but the marriage lasted about a year. In the early ’40s, there she was, fending for herself all over again. The divorce made the tabloids. She was upset, and talked about responsible journalism, but did not go any further. Also around this time, she connected with the Master Vinayak’s circle. Coincidentally, a 13-year old Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar was desperately looking for a job around 1942. A Vinayak colleague (R.S. Junnarkar) was in the process of making Paahili Mangalaagaur (1942), and Snehaprabha fitted right in as the leading lady opposite Shahu Modak. The movie is a landmark because it got an A certificate on account of a suggestive bedroom sequence (dark screen, hushed background sounds). People saw this movie over and over again, and some even carried strong flashlights into the theatre, hoping to get more out of that one scene! Paahili Mangalaagaur was Lata’s first movie as a child actress. Snehaprabha and Lata sang a duet in this film, picturized on themselves. There is no question about it as Snehaprabha herself confirmed that in an early ’90s interview. Therfore, Snehprabha made history by singing the first ever duet with Lata. On Christmas day 1946, Tarabai died, a tired lady, very sick and very proud. Both of her parents had dedicated large parts of their lives to social work, particularly to the cause of literacy in India. That left no time for the material life. The daughter was always on her own, fiercely independent, utterly radical, outspoken, gentle, and strong. But this loss broke her. On one occasion, she tried to take her own life and failed. Sometime in the ’50s, Snehaprabha Pradhan married Dr. Shirodhkar, and came back to Bombay. She lived the last 40 years of her life in peace and relative oblivion, totally dedicated to social work and the stage. She died in 1993 |
