Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He started at radio station WARL out of Arlington, Virginia. Worked at the Bismarck Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. He did guest shots on the WSM Grand Ole Opry. For two years, he entertained the US troops in the Far East as part of the Special Services Road Shows. Around 1954 or so, Harry signed on with Cliffie Stone and became a part of the long running popular show the "Hometown Jamboree".

Search | Add | 4 | Aquasocks | AQUASOCKS is the highly anticipated musical collaboration between Halifax mainstays, Ghettosocks (Juno Award Nominee and ECMA Award winner), and up-and-coming, Aquakultre (CBC Searchlight Award winner). These two artists fuse and intertwine their distinctive lyrical stylings on the 10-track debut full-length album, HOLOS, set to a jazzy and vibrant musical backdrop. The rhymes are witty and poetic touching social commentary, concepts of community, and social justice – without coming across as didactic. AQUASOCKS is a rap group whose members’ friendship can be felt throughout the songs.

Search | Add | 4 | Styrofoam Duck | Minneapolis, MN. Styrofoam Duck had begun receiving accolades for its playful band name as well as their quirky live performances, in which an actual 6 foot styrofoam duck shared the stage, flashing its head light, heckling the audience and band-mates. With the release of the band’s first full-length CD on Modern Radio, “Emergency’s Only Friend”, The Duck and its band-mates agreed that perhaps the best thing for all involved would be to part ways. As the Duck pursued various lucrative solo endeavors, the remaining members took a greater focus on the music without the distracting, albeit dynamic talking duck. The band remained a three piece with the addition of Jason Powers before taking a more experimental direction and then disbanding all together. ([l71202])

Search | Add | 4 | Moleras | Moleras | Moleras - this is handmade alternative rock from Aachen, Germany. The duo consists of Moritz Bas and Lukas Wynands. They have known each other their whole life and have always made music together. In 2017 they started a band called “Nepomuk” in which they gained their first band and stage experiences. They also started to write their own music inspired by the stuff they love. In 2019 they decided to put their own songs together for a record. They recorded their debut album “obstacles” in the practice room of and with help from their friends Boon Goon. The album is about personal struggles and tries to provide a way out of them. It is supposed to show the listeners a way to deal with their personal obstacles. Considering their release, they changed their name to “Moleras” and decided to start over again. The duo performs with a pretty unusual line up: guitar, synthesizer, bass, vocals, percussion and a ukulele. In order to gain a full band sound, they use loopers and a bunch of effect pedals. With those instruments they are able to create a unique sound and their performances become extraordinary. The friends are excited about their first release and can’t wait to get on the road to bring their music to the people! “When the breakdown is getting nearer, try to start anew and always remember: your only obstacle is you!” |

Search | Add | 4 | Bliss Repair | Bliss Repair consists of St. Paul's [a=Eric Rea] and Omaha's [a=Stephen Sheehan]. The two first met while working at Spaghetti Works in Omaha in 1983 -- Sheehan as a waiter and Rea as a chef. They became musically bound thanks to a shared 3-year stint behind the counter at Homer's Records. Sheehan went on to form Omaha's first [a=Durutti Column] / [a=Throbbing Gristle] / [a=The Left Banke] - inspired rock band called [a=Digital Sex], which enjoyed its share of notoriety both locally and in, of all places, France. Rea also played in a few local bands, none of which he's willing to name (though they included The Decades), before moving to the Minneapolis / St. Paul area in '93. Bliss Repair music is anti-techno. With its lumbering beats, hippy-man bass lines, fuzzy-distorto guitars and synths, and myriad of '60s-era cult-reference samples, loops and sound effects, the duo's debut CD, Lo-fi Enlightenment, is nothing less than a stoner rock answer to Moby. And I haven't even touched on the blotter-acid-inspired spoken-word lyrics yet. Most listeners, especially those of the TRL / commercial radio variety, will find the whole thing downright weird and slightly unseemly.

He was already there by the time of his first single “Era Scritto Cosi/Il Vento” in 1969. There he formed a band with “paisà” Giovanni “Johnny” d’Orazio and his brother Sergio Panzera, playing every Saturday for italian weddings in Montreal. It was during one of these gigs he met Jerry Cucuzzella, a disco producer from Montreal (Bent Boys, Suzy Q, Punkin’ Machine). Giovanni and Jerry would end up working together on a lot of other disco and hi-nrg productions such as Nightlife Unlimited, Stephanie Wells, Valerie Krystal, Evelyn Smith, Motion, while Sal wrote and sang “Space Traveller”, an english and french cover of the Italian disco track “Capire, Amare, Soffrire” by Il Seme dell’Amore, for his studio group Animation. “No, Stasera No” was originally released as a 7” in a few hundreds copies with no cover, handed out as a promotional tool in order to publicize Sal and Giovanni’s own label “Piuma”, when they decided to step into production. Timing didn’t help the fate of this 7”, as it got released in 1981, at the very end of the golden era of disco music, letting it disappear into obscurity and making it a super sought-after disco holy grail. |

Search | Add | 4 | Richie Mayer | Richie Mayer | Coming out of the trend-setting 1980 Chicago PowerPop / New Wave scene that included Pezband, Cheap Trick & Shoes, Richie’s group Loose Lips released their EP “Hung Up On Pop” with Grammy award-winning producer Michael Freeman. Loose Lips created its own scene for the next two years with an enthusiastic fan base, memorable shows, frequent radio play, and a number of cable and TV performances that included an AM Chicago Rate-A-Record appearance hosted by Dick Clark. Slipping into another musical skin, in 1986 Mayer formed the Dark Pop group PushPush and soon recorded the album “World On Fire.” A reaction to the music industry’s slide into big hair, loud clothes and tepid songwriting, Mayer plumbed the moodier side of pop while still penning catchy melodies graced with wry observations on the human condition. A new direction again presented itself in the early ’90’s when Mayer became a songwriter and producer for BMG Music Publishing in Toronto, Canada. In collaboration with BMG A&R head David Bendeth, the group Love And Sas won Juno Awards (Canadian Grammys) in 1991 and 1992 for R & B Song of the Year with Mayer and Bendeth’s songs and production. In early 2000 the creative muse beckoned again, this time luring Mayer in a different direction; architecture. Designing and building modern, ecologically sound homes became a passion and Mayer found that composing simple, flowing spaces was much like writing and arranging songs; “If you strip away artifice” Mayer offered, “the truth reveals itself.” A development deal with Epic Records led to a songwriting, production and publishing deal for Mayer with BMG Music in Toronto, Canada. Many songs, recordings and productions now brings us to 2021 and the release of his first solo album, The Inn of Temporary Happiness. |

Search | Add | 4 | Da Enemy | Ralf Rögner | Ralf's musical works began in May 1989 when he produced the first songs using an Commodore Amiga system. The early years mainly were the period of time were he tried a lot of different styles including techno, breakbeat and experimental stuff none of which ever has been released to public. In 1992 he acquired a set of Technics SL-1210 turntables which gave him the chance to get inspiration by the pioneers of oldschool hardcore. Following these influences he started to focus on these styles while he still produced techno and trance tracks, also in cooperation with other artists beside. The second creative phase began in 1994 when Vernon D. Hill was his working-mate at a musicstore. Influences from the early 1980's funk and soul era found their place in his music. In the later time he found back to his roots and dedicated his creativity mainly to drum & bass. In 2008 he released the first vinyl of his drum & bass project sn00ze on Enemy Movement, a label he started on January, 1st of 2006. |

Search | Add | 4 | Dogkennel Hill | Dogkennel Hill | Tim Bewlay is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. His musical career started as a teenager in the late 70's, playing his first original songs in folk clubs around the UK, gathering a band together to record and tour around Europe. During the 80's, he gigged extensively with different line ups including an appearance at the legendary Glastonbury Festival. As the 90's approached, Tim concentrated mainly on writing, recording and setting up his own publishing company and studio – he was involved in the recording and production of BLUEBOY'S 1997 UK hit single REMEMBER ME. A conversation with old friend Guy Bailey led Tim to a stint playing bass in Guy's internationally successful band the QUIREBOYS and the beginnings of the idea for the project that was to become DOGKENNEL HILL. The band recorded their first album, the alt country tinged SWEETHEARTS OF THE RODEO which was released worldwide to critical acclaim in 2000. The album also featured as rhythm section Dave Tregunna (SHAM 69, LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH) on bass and top London session drummer Simon Hanson (Grace Jones, Squeeze). This line up played several select London Shows including Shepherd's Bush Empire. After a four year hiatus which saw some line up changes including Guy's departure and a relocation to France for Tim, work began on the follow up album ALL THE KING'S HORSES which took the band into darker and more introspective territory. They played a few London shows including the 100 Club and then moved on to tour the new record around France to their growing following. Since then, whilst continuing to perform live all over France, Tim has been designing and building anew studio at his home in the Breton countryside and working on film soundtrack music. As we move into 2016/17, Tim has just completed his first novel, a rock n roll mystery adventure called THE BALLADE OF NIXON TYME and is currently in the studio recording his third album. |

In 1935 the Four-A-Melody Men also recorded for Decca but the records were released under the name of the Mound City Jubilee Quartette, a different group that recorded the same day.
