Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024

Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Dominic Banone Dominic Banone Dominic Banone was born 1988 in Frankfurt am Main. He found his first inspiration for electronic music in sommer 2008. Through various events, such as "Green & Blue" and especially "MOVE" in Frankfurt, he started to love electronic music more and more. In fall 2009, he becomes acquainted to his todays mentor Frank Savio, Dj and Producer in Frankfurt. Dominic received a look inside "the scenes of electronic music," producing tracks, as well as playing music in some clubs. He soon showed a growing interest in music and also producing it. He bought the necesarry equipment for himself and learned a lot, by looking over the shoulders of his mentor. Through the monthly techno event "MOVE" in Frankfurt, Dominic has heard playing some famous DJ's, such as Joseph Capriati, Samuel L. Session, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jerome Sydenham, or Gayle San. With that, he has decided to become a "Producer", and not longer to be only a "Consumer" of electronic music. In April 2012 he produced together with his Mentor his first Digital Release "The Green Banones", at Berlin's techno label Fanciful. And the next one is already in progress! This is probably the start of an auspicious music career !

Search Add 2 Михаил Штейнберг Михаил Карлович Штейнберг Mikhail Steinberg (1867–?) was a Russian songwriter and composer. He wrote over 70 romances for many prominent singers at the beginning of the XX century, including Anastasia Vyaltseva, Raisa Raisova, and Yury Morfessi, with 'Heida Troika' (Гай-да Тройка) being one of the most famous. Not much else is known about his biography. M. K. Steinberg is often confused with a composer M. O. Steinberg (1883–1946), and works signed simply as M. Steinberg had been sometimes misattributed even in libraries and catalogs.

Search Add 2 Cantores Episcopi Cantores Episcopi is the close harmony group of Winchester College. Founded in 1973, the group has enjoyed an unbroken tradition since its beginnings, of close harmony singing, exploring a vast repertoire of popular songs, famous arrangements and home-grown compositions. The name Cantores Episcopi, ‘The Bishop’s Singers’, was chosen because four of the original five members of the group had previously sung as choristers in choirs connected with William of Wykeham (at New College, Oxford, Winchester College or Winchester Cathedral) and found themselves together in his school. Over the years about half of the members have moved on to university choral scholarships, and many have embarked upon successful singing careers. Cantores Episcopi give numerous concerts through the year, both at home and further afield. In recent years, the group has collaborated with Aurum Vocale consort group, and also with The King’s Singers. The group has toured to Colombia in 2011, 2014 and 2017, performing as part of an outreach project with schools and youth orchestras in Bogota and Cartagena.

Search Add 2 לטאות הענק מכוכב הניבירו "The Giant Lizards from Nibiru Planet" is a space rock band. The ultimate psychedelic experience in the sacred language. With Video Arts, alien costumes and timeless anthems. The Giant Lizards From the Nibiru Planet come from the Sumerian culture that existed until 4500 years ago. In ancient inscriptions, parts of their mythology were discovered about beings called "Annunaki" who came from the sky from the Nibiru planet. The creatures came to earth with the purpose of mining gold metal and therefore they created man who is a genetic development of an ancient mammal for the purposes of slavery. They called the first creature - Adamo. In alien political circles, the Reptilians are considered an advanced, violent, powerful, domineering race. Some say that this race of lizards rules the earth. They are associated with the "Freemasons", the pharaohs and even the Levite tribe.

Search Add 2 Boomtown Shakedown Boomtown Shakedown from Münster (Germany) inspire their fan base - whether in an intimate club or on big open air stages. Their shows are characterized by an honest attitude and many style changes. Simply unusual and refreshing. Light acoustic tones or full throttle with rock and ska elements. Reggae from the heart without any tendency to purism.
Boomtown Shakedown’s three vocalists perform in German and English with a lot of depth and wit about situations that everybody has already experienced. While the bass massages your insides - the horn section wraps you in soulful solos and powerful melodies.
