Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Azim Rashid | Azim Lawrence Rashid | Azim Rashid was a graduate of the rough south Dallas, Texas hood of Hamilton Park. At a young age Azim got into music through listening to the early releases of [a=Michael Jackson]. Eventually he pursued an interest into hip-hop and gained notoriety around his neighborhood for his rhymes. Around 1987/88 Azim hooked up with local Dallas DJ [a=The Snake (2)] and joined part of the rap group [a=Nemesis (3)]. As a member, Azim quickly became the group's leading emcee (along with [a=Big Al (9)]). While the group parlayed with laid back party rhymes, it was Azim that contributed many of themes of spirituality (as a Muslim) and social consciousness. However Azim departed shortly after the release of [r=845762] as the group was drifting more in the direction of gangsta posturing and booty bass music. After Azim released a solo project a few years later he traded a career as a recording artist for a more lucrative position. After working as an industy insider for several years Mr. Rashid landed himself a job as [l=MCA Records Inc.]'s director of R&B promotion. In 2000 he was promoted to senior national director of the same department, overseeing the label's radio promotions and supervision of staff. More recently Azim joined the New Jersey-based Ultimate Media Group, a R&B/hip-hop marketing, management, and promotions firm, as their CEO. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Eric Wurzelbacher | Rooted in Cincinnati, OH, Eric Wurzelbacher is an unexpected musician out of the midwest. Described by the Jazz Journal UK as a “foot- tapping mix of hard-bop impro and rock”, Eric has worked tirelessly for years to authentically combine the conciseness of rock and the freedom of jazz. Eric started making his national mark after playing at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2019. As a leader and composer, he has released four albums comprised of all original music. Eco Quartet (2017), Power (2018), Maya (2019), and Idle Minds (2021). While attending the College Conservatory of Music (Cincinnati), Eric was named one of the top 10 saxophonists in the nation through the United States Army Solo Competition in 2012. Through his time in college, he became fixated on composing and found jazz and improvised music as an ideal outlet while being fortunate enough to share the stage with a number of inspiring artists including Fareed Haque (Garaj Majal), John Labarbera, and Matt Wilson (with Jeff Lederer). After graduating in 2015, Eric toured Europe for a number of months while playing on cruise ships. Realizing his true passion for composing and playing his own music, Eric has since been touring the country with his self- titled group. Eric has been surrounded by the music business for his entire life, but not on the side that you might expect. Growing up and working in a family business that constructs stages for festivals (one of them being the Newport Jazz Festival) around the country exposed Eric to music and a way of life that he would have never experienced otherwise. As a product Eric's midwest childhood spent listening to classic rock and grunge, his music and playing style has been described as an art form that "harnesses the intensity, power, and deliberate transitions of rock, while still remaining highly improvised in the spirit of jazz" | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Angel S. | Angel Sakurai | From the early age of six years old when Angel Sakurai began his training in classical Piano and Organ, he has always had a special affinity for music. That special fondness was not limited to just classical music but also many other popular genre's like reggae, soul, dance, techno, and house music. In the mid 1990's Angel began his D.J. career spinning at popular Tokyo nightclubs like Fai, Lust, Cave, Web, Maist, Gamos, Manuera Cafe, GoGo Lounge, La Fabrique Tokyo to name a few. Angel's radio D.J. activities included spinning at FM Shonan Napasa and a Kamakura FM radio program. The year 2000 marked a notable point in his career, he was invited to participate in an album for Hemptone Inn Records. Angel produced the popular laid back track "Afternoon Gin" for the "Hemptone Inn Records VA 02" compilation album. Also in that same year, Angel released his debut album entitled "angel" in collaboration with "aor" fashion brand, popular in the young independent fashion scene. Angel's next album "angel volume 2" was released in March, 2001. This second album, also in collaboration with the Fashion label AOR was an original T-shirt and CD set. Sold at popular fashionable Tokyo shops like United Arrows, Far East Irony, this CD and T-shirt set was very well received. The Album's concept to create a cityscape soundtrack for different areas of the world special to Angel, Tokyo London, Paris, New York, and the Bali resort island, Legian. The ambient vibrations of the city and it's people, concrete or tropical, big or small. 2003, "Sexy Music" explores yet another aspect of the city. Keywords for this album are night, young Love, and things sexy. Taking the influences of late 70's and 80's Black American Contemporary Urban Music and combining the moody downbeat with present day dance music, to express Angel's unique night atmosphere. In the 2006, he was invited to participate in an album for Unity Records. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Fatter Faction | Dan Spier, Steve Scott, Ben McCusker | Audio architects/musicians Dan Spier and Steve Scott spend many years in their garage studio in Staines, Middlesex, remixing, bootlegging tunes to play-out to the free-party masses. A lack of direction was rectified when past free party cohort and vocalist Ben McCusker (aka KRUDE) dropped into the studio and was blown away by the lawless, gritty tones bouncing off the studio walls. Bringing with him a peerless vocal style that flies between sardonic, sarcastic social observation to raw urban prose, the Fatter Faction were formed, proper, December 2003. Their infectious, nihilistic tunes are best described as the musical equivalent of being smashed in the face. A calamity of cross-genre, distinctly British sounding tunes that stops anyone within earshot dead in their tracks. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Gölden Palace | Gölden Palace is a punk rock band from Charleston, South Carolina consisting of Alex Charles Goss, Joseph Kimbrell (Vitne), Graham Spees, Johnny Emmel, and Andy Adkins. The group formed in Summer of 2004 as a four piece (minus Adkins) and recorded their debut album A Little Rock N' Roll. The group returned to the studio in 2008 for a follow-up album to be called Touch Me There, but the sessions were shelved upon their hiatus in 2009. Joseph moved to Norway and played in the Norwegian glam metal bands SEKS and HART before beginning a solo career as Vitne in 2013. The remaining four members continued performing together in South Carolina under the name Savage Tongues. 2015 saw Gölden Palace's reunion with a remastered release of A Little Rock N' Roll as well as their previously unreleased mini-album Touch Me There. In 2017 the group released their third album, the self-titled Gölden Palace. | |
