Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | 2Da West | Samuel West | 2Da West is an up & coming emcee from Chicago, Illinois. His unique vocals & style makes him perfect for almost any production. His skills are always tight and on point of the production. His professionalism stands out in his art work. His ability to bounce his syllables to the beat is that like of a drum machine. Reminds you of real emcees such as Tech N9ne or 2Pac with his gift. Not only though is his timing perfect, but his lyrics have a message. A message of truth that many are not ready to hear. 2Da West is a well seasoned emcee that knows what rapping really is. From Hip Hop to eHop to Dance music, this emcee can do it all. In the words of 2Da West himself; "The meaning of life can take you down many different paths. But good or bad, they all give you the gift of experience. Experience is what life is all about. And to me, being able to learn and evolve from these experiences, is the true meaning of life. It no longer matters where you came from, because where you're going in the future, is the only thing that you actually have control of. It's up to us to decide where we want to be in the future, what we want to accomplish, and the means for making that happen. It's up to us to find the power within ourselves, and the only power that saves, heals, and creates, is LOVE. Without being able to love yourself, it's almost impossible to love anything else. To change the world, we must first change ourselves!" |

Originally known as Rude Awakening, the lineup consisted of Bill Polk on drums, Mark Huckleberry on guitar, Steve Sawyers on vocals, and Mike Spink on bass. They released two eps; "Rude Awakening" in May 1991, and "Meet Your Maker" in December 1991. Following the departure of guitarist Mark Huckleberry in 1992, the band recruited guitarist Tim Flaherty and changed the band name to Shattered Reality. A self-titled ep was released in December 1993, followed by the full-length "Forget to Remember" in September 1994, and the ep "Into The Blind" in August 1996. Between 1993 and 1996 the band had several different bass players, including Mike Spink, Phil Hebert, Al Chadwell and Paul Kelly. They also added 2nd guitarist JR Perry not long after the release of the "Forget To Remember" album. Before disbanding in 1997, Shattered Reality played many legendary Louisville venues such as The Toy Tiger, Tewligans, Phoenix Hill Tavern, Uncle Pleasants, The Zodiac Club, The KY Center for the Arts, and shared the stage with bands such as Overkill, Souls at Zero, My Own Victim, and Days of the New, among many others. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | George Kamel | Nashville-based, Boston-bred artist George Kamel is no stranger to the world of songwriting. He released two albums in the past five years, one as part of Boston-based folk outfit “Meadowlarks” and another under the pseudonym, Lapsley. But a three-year stint in the city of Mobile, Alabama would force Kamel to reevaluate his identity as a songwriter. "You grow up real fast when you move 1,500 miles away from home to a place you're not familiar with and people you don't know...you're out of your element and things kinda hit you differently..." said Kamel. After countless open-mics and coffee shop shows, Kamel met an emerging producer named Matt Baker and decided to bring his songs to life in the studio with his latest release, The Great Coward. Kamel believes that The Great Coward represents a significant season of personal growth. "I think the songs come from this place of wanting to escape the cynicism that I've been in for so many years now" he said. "It's not necessarily that I've figured it all out-or that I have all the answers-but I've found the path that I want to go and it's time for me to grow up and pursue that." Drawing influences from Bon Iver, Avett Brothers and David Bazan, Kamel effectively unites the ethereal and earthly using an impressive array of folk instrumentation, while guiding the listener through haunting seasons of beauty and pain. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Seymour DeKoven | From Wikipedia: "Seymour DeKoven (25 November 1903 – 29 October 1984), generally known simply as DeKoven, was a United States classical music radio personality of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. Because of his penchant for mixing short musical segments with enthusiastic commentary, he could be called a "classical music disk jockey." His unique style was utterly different from that of any popular-music disk jockey, but was also worlds apart from the dignified manner of other classical radio notables such as Robert J. Lurtsema of WGBH, Boston, and Robert Conrad of WCLV, Cleveland. He played exclusively music of the baroque and rococo eras. He is identified with the word "barococo" in reference to music of that time, a coinage that became familiar and understood, but was never widely adopted. In his obituary, The New York Times called him "passionately opinionated." In the U. S. prior to the 1960s, baroque music was known mostly to musicians and scholars, and was relatively unfamiliar to the general classical listening audience. DeKoven's broadcasts coincided with what is sometimes referred to as the "1960s baroque revival," a sharp rise in popular interest in the music." | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Azim Rashid | Azim Lawrence Rashid | Azim Rashid was a graduate of the rough south Dallas, Texas hood of Hamilton Park. At a young age Azim got into music through listening to the early releases of [a=Michael Jackson]. Eventually he pursued an interest into hip-hop and gained notoriety around his neighborhood for his rhymes. Around 1987/88 Azim hooked up with local Dallas DJ [a=The Snake (2)] and joined part of the rap group [a=Nemesis (3)]. As a member, Azim quickly became the group's leading emcee (along with [a=Big Al (9)]). While the group parlayed with laid back party rhymes, it was Azim that contributed many of themes of spirituality (as a Muslim) and social consciousness. However Azim departed shortly after the release of [r=845762] as the group was drifting more in the direction of gangsta posturing and booty bass music. After Azim released a solo project a few years later he traded a career as a recording artist for a more lucrative position. After working as an industy insider for several years Mr. Rashid landed himself a job as [l=MCA Records Inc.]'s director of R&B promotion. In 2000 he was promoted to senior national director of the same department, overseeing the label's radio promotions and supervision of staff. More recently Azim joined the New Jersey-based Ultimate Media Group, a R&B/hip-hop marketing, management, and promotions firm, as their CEO. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Baba Taher | باباطاهر | Persian poet from the 11th Century. Baba Tahir (Persian: باباطاهر عریان) or Baba Taher Oryan Hamadani (Persian: باباطاهر عریان همدانی) was an 11th-century Persian dervish poet from Hamadan, Iran who lived during the reign of Tugril of the Seljuk dynasty over Iran. This is almost all that is known of him as he lived a mysterious lifestyle. Although prefix "Baba" (roughly meaning 'The Wise' or 'The Respected') has been thought as part of his name in all known sources, his nickname "Oryan"( meaning 'The Naked' ) did not appear until about 17th-century.The nickname was probably attributed to him because he seemed to lead a very spiritual and stoic lifestyle and thus was figuratively not clothed with worldly and material needs. His poetry is written in the Hamadani dialect of the Persian language. According to L. P. Elwell-Sutton he probably wrote in the Hamadani dialect, adding: "Most traditional sources call it loosely Luri, while the name commonly applied from an early date to verses of this kind, Fahlaviyat, presumably implies that they were thought to be in a language related to the Middle Persian language. Rouben Abrahamian however found a close affinity with the dialect spoken at the present time by the Jews of Hamadan." According to The Cambridge History of Iran, Baba Tahir spoke a certain Persian dialect. |
