Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Dead Commuter | Formed in the Fall of 2005 , Dead Commuter started out with Paul Maggard On Guitar/Vocals, Rafael Garcia On Drums, and Margaret Follmer on Bass. Culling from a number of influences, The band's first efforts sounded like a variety of different genres, at one moment melodic as Latter-era Neurosis , the next being steeped in Powerviolence. Later down the road, Margaret left, with Khaine temporarily replacing her. By the end of '06 Dead Commuter had decided to end the search for a bassist and remain a duo for good. The band has come a long way since that first show opening for The Esoteric, becoming what each half of this duo has aspired: Loud, Bludgeoning Sludge. In June of 2011, after a long road of hard work and hard touring, Dead Commuter decided to end its 6 year run.

Search | Add | 3 | Sweet Claudette | Claudette Harrell | Blues singer based in Detroit, Michigan, USA area. Born May 5 1942 in Heflin Alabama Died January 6 2020 in Royal Oak Michigan “Sweet Claudette” Harrell-Manning lived life to the fullest. In total, she had seven careers, all of which she started at the bottom and worked her way up with only a high school education. As a young woman, she was a single mother of four children while working full time. A difficult task being an African-American female, pre-civil rights. Born in 1942 in Heflin, Alabama, 1 of 5 children; John, Hank, Claudette, Annie and Eudell. The family lived there until she was 5 years old, when they moved to Chicago. The stayed there only a year before settling in the Detroit area. After graduating from Ferndale High School in 1961(?), Claudette’s first job was a Recruiter for the military during the Vietnam War (although not enlisted). Then she became a nurse at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. Next, she worked for Consumers Power, reading meters at first, advancing to Administrative Assistant. I. B. M. hired her into warehouse parts distribution, but she quickly advanced to Employment Recruiter. After several years, she retired to open her own graphic design business. This grew into several other shops/stores of various ceramic creations. It was around this time (age 50) that she caught “The Blues Bug” and began singing in local clubs. Having roots in Alabama, she easily connected to blues artists there as well. With her “sweet” attitude and “spontaneous comedy” performing style, success came quickly. Having already written a book of poetry, songwriting was the next natural step in her evolution. She went on to eventually write, record and release 44 songs on 6 CD’s. Her final “day job” was Administrative Management at Michigan Department of Natural Resources (D.N.R.). It was during this time that she met and eventually married drummer Greg Manning. Together, they have assembled various teams of skilled musicians, performing around the Detroit Metro Area, Canada, and the South. |

During the 1970's, "Ole Ivars" went through many lineup changes, culminating with the 1978 departure of (among others) [a1059377] (the "Ole" in "Ole Ivars"). Shortly thereafter, [a1059377] and other former members of Ole Ivars got together and formed Ole Ivars Veteranene (The Ole Ivars Veterans). The two Ole Ivars bands co-existed for three years, until 1982 when the band then calling itself Ole Ivars retired and Ole Ivars Veteranene went back to using the name Ole Ivars. The lineup has since then remained relatively unchanged. They released two albums under the "Ole Ivars Veteranene" name.
