Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Robert T. Reilly | US author (1923-2004). From bethlehembooks.com: Robert (Bob) T. Reilly was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1923. During World War II, he enlisted in the Army and saw service as a First lieutenant with the 78th Division in Europe. He was a POW for six months, and received numerous decorations. After the war Reilly completed his Ph.D. at Boston University. Reilly's Irish interests involved the American Committee for Irish studies and the Irish American Cultural Institute, where he held a national directorship. Reilly lived in Ireland and also led tours there from 1966. It was when he was teaching Irish Literature at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, that he had the inspiration to write Red Hugh. "I did it as a bet with myself that I could write a book," he recalled. His first attempt at the story of Hugh O'Donnell was rejected by a publisher, so he tossed the manuscript out and started over. This time the tale was successful and became the first of several historical fiction books (Irish Saints, Fighting Prince of Donegal, Rebels in the Shadows). Having married Jean McKenzie of Omaha, Nebraska after World War II, Reilly and his wife had ten children and many grandchildren. Robert Reilly died in 2004.

Search | Add | 2 | George Steeltoe Ensemble | In 1999 the George Steeltoe Ensemble began experimenting in free jazz and other improvisational forms through weekly "church" sessions at the Lexington, KY home of Brian Osborne. The group originally performed mostly as a quartet with Jeff Chapple, Jay Dunbar, Lathan Hardy and Brian Osborne. In 2001 the group moved to Brooklyn where it continues to evolve to this day. Currently the Ensemble's line-up includes Brian Osborne on drums, Lathan Hardy on sax, Michael Barker on electronics, and Tom Blancarte on bass. The following people have also played in the Ensemble over the past ten years: Dylan Angell, Andrew Barker, Ed Bear, Casey Block, Daniel Carter, Ed Chang, Tom Clark, Ross Compton, Marcus Cummins, Peter Evans, Dave Farris, Walker Hancock, Trevor Healy, Sam Hicks, Erik Hinds, Michael T. Jackson, Joel Lambdin, Elisa Osborne, Melissa Putz, RADAR Dance, Speight Rhue, Mark Savage, Jeffrey Shurdut, Tamio Shiraishi, Blaise Siwula, Robin Siwula, Jasper Stadhouders, and Marc Zajack. In 2006 George Steeltoe Ensemble released their first recording titled Church of Yuh, which Blastitude dubbed "refreshingly nasty garbage jazz all the way, maybe even a new kind of fire music". The group's sound made WIRE imagine "the Art Ensemble of Chicago jamming with Jackie-O Motherfucker". Preferring live performance over recordings; the group's only other release is a 3" on Primecuts, which documents the group, eight strong, on a day off during their 2007 Spring Tour.

In 1992 the band members moved to Kyzyl and took name Второй Вариант, recording a demo in the same year titled "Имение Слёз". During 1993 they changed name to Нон-Облом playing punk-rock and recorded an unreleased album titled "Брат Сатаны" in 1994 which was many years later made available in a Mp3 CD collection. The debut album was recorded in 1996 while the band was still called Нон-Облом but when Anatoly Krupnov introduced them to Moroz Records, they were forced to change name into Адепт Хорc before the album was released

This is the soundtrack of drawing, reading sci-fi novels or listening in headphones in the dark. It is not quite ambient, not quite dance music. AWOLism is Andreas Wolmer. Andreas started making music in the early nineties and has been involved in several bands and projects in various genres, from electro pop to crust punk. The AWOLism moniker provides an outlet for his midtempo oriented electronica. These are the tracks with the big bass, the shuffling rhythms and the gentle melodies |

Search | Add | 2 | Contact T.B.D. | Jan Kees Helms | Jan Kees Helms is a sound and visual artist based in The Netherlands. In the eighties he made music with others like Viviane Marc from France, Peter Versteeg and Andrea Sturkenboom. He made music and recorded his experimental musical journeys and released them at Lor Teeps. The tapelabel Lor Teeps cooperated with lot of other musicians in The Netherlands, but also worldwide. Lor Teeps released the first tape in 1983 with punkmusic of L'Oraagje. In 1987 Lor Teeps was more into the experimental tape-scene and released a lot of tapes. After many years of silence and making short movies with music of other musicians he started in 2009 to make visual sounds. Spring 2009 he starts with a collaboration with Billy Gomberg from New York and created the CD and short movie ANYpark with field recordings of parksounds. Contact T.B.D. released about 20 years ago many tapes at several tapelabels. For now Jan Kees Helms explores in this musical project the dark side of sound with guitardrones, synthesizers, piano and fieldrecordings. |

His father was an engine driver, his older brother became a well known businessman. He left the Gymnasium aged 17, passed the entrance examination to music school (most probably in Wuppertal) - and earned some money as a organ player in church. His singing studies took place from 1957 to 1963 in Berlin with famous singers Walther Ludwig and Herbert Brauer. In 1966, Karl-Heinz Pinhammer became a fellow Professor (Dozent) at Hannover Music Academy (Musikhochschule) and later on Professor. From 1978, he taught at Lübeck Music Academy (Musikhochschule). There are recordings beginning in the year 1968, in the first line J.S. Bach Cantatas, but also Lieder by Schubert, Wolf, and R. Strauss. In addition to the classical music he was also facing the modern composition. His last last recital dates form March 5, 1985 performing Schubert’s Winterreise. Two months later, a traffic accident stopped his career abruptly, he died on May 2, 1985.
