Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Deformation Guaranteed | Deformation Guaranteed was founded in winter 2004 by Rune Tristanne (then under the name Nomis L.) as a personal solo project for experimental music. The musical influences come mainly from the post punk and death rock of the early 80s. Other important influences are Doom, Black metal, Dark Country and Industrial Metal. After two demos appeared in 2004 and 2007, the project initially disbanded. In 2013 two songs were recorded again. In 2019, Deformation Guaranteed was fully reactivated and the first album Pagan Girl was recorded in Tristanne's studio. Tristanne is the only fix Member, all other Past Members where just Session Members. Deformation Guaranteed stands for elven dark enchanted music with a sad dreamy view of this world.

Search | Add | 3 | Larry Gore | Larry Gore (1923-1973) was a Bronx-born comedy writer and public relations man whose clients included stars such as John Wayne, Anita Ekberg, Red Skelton, Tina Louise and Tiny Tim -- he was publicist for the wedding of Tiny Tim to Miss Vicki on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show." He wrote for MAD Magazine from the 1950s to the early 1970s, and was also MAD's first public relations man. Beginning sometime in the late 1950s he would sometimes get masthead credit as "Propaganda Minister" or being in charge of "Publicity Lies." Gore would plant fake newspaper column items reporting crazy things like MAD was going to publish a waterproof edition that could be read in the shower, or that its employees were paid in $2 bills. MAD publisher William Gaines perhaps paid him the highest complement possible in a 1960 interview: "I didn't think we needed a press agent, but Feldstein did. What Gore says embarasses me. I can't communicate with him. He's even madder than we are. But I suppose if we've got to have a press agent, we might as well have a Mad one." It is claimed by some that Larry Gore was the only MAD writer who was kicked off the magazine for being too Mad. He is credited with several famous back covers skewering Richard Nixon, some published posthumously by the magazine. Larry was also a comedy publisher in his own right. He wrote a truly looney newspaper comic strip called "Larry Gore's Thing" with MAD artist Bob Clarke providing the art. It ran from 1968 to 1972 in Newsday and was syndicated around the country as well for a while. Oh, yeah...he made some comedy records, too...

Search | Add | 3 | Twisted Desire | David Olsson | Psy-trance / Progressive Trance / Full-on project & DJ producer from Sweden, based in Cyprus Other project "Future Desire" (Ambient / Trip Hop / Free Trap) / Also Sound Engineer I was born in Sweden -87 in a town called Kungsbacka. My father bought me a guitar when I was 12 and around that time I where listening to metal and hardrock. I ́ve got intressed in electronic music at a age of 14 when I tried to find new metal band's, I searched for 666 thinking it was a metal band , but it wasn't it where techno... and to my surpise I loved it. I was the only one in my friend group listening to electronic music and started soon to play along with my electric guitar to electronic music. My father bought me a midi synth in 2002 so it was then I started creating electronic music, and I was fiddling around with my synth creating wierd sounds and beats. I have always been creative and doing wierd things, not only music but I also paint, draw, building things and spinning poi's.I started djing in 2002, at that time I was only 15 so it was just for fun at that time. My first set where I played my own music was in 2007 and from there I started to create my name in Sweden. I have since then played at alot of different venues and forest's around in SwedenNow I live in Cyprus and have 3 albums in total released, 1 by "Geomagnetic records" 1 with "Hi-Trip records" and the latest album released by "Timelocks" record company "Dropzone records"I make music with my own sound and style, When I've started the project "Twisted Desire" in 2013 I had one goal in my mind, To make people dance and be happy, I create psytrance and try to keep a unique style and soundscape. My biggest influences in music have been Timelock, Astrix, Skazi, Vertical Mode, Infected mushroom, Flyh, Shpongle, Sesto sento, Psiralfe and of coarse alot more. For me, music is all about feelings and emotions and I feel that Psytrance is the genre that I can express this the best. Search | Add | 3 | AEON of FIRE | AEON of FIRE – the eternity of the fire! Trance enjoyed the call of an energetically loaded music genre, which united crowds in times of the techno revolution in the 90's, in order to celebrate innumerably long parties and big raves. Not least the word “Trance “ was selected for this kind of music. Ravers supported by the spherical pads as well as simple but beautiful melodies and harmony structures, were driven to ecstasy. In the early 21 century Trance music initially lost its meaning over night. It particularly disappeared from the local record stores and incrementally also from the clubs. However, the myths of Trance existed and survived in the underground and in such a way, among other things, subgenres such as Tech Trance and Deep Trance have been established. Today, in certain circles, these styles are in demand again. In this sense we want to retain the positive characteristics of Trance and let these appear in a new form. Thus AEON of Fire is one of the oldest and most established projects of Pain-Productions. It was founded in 2004.

Search | Add | 3 | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors of Dub started life in 1991 as an 11-piece collective, based in London, UK, with a shared interest in reggae, jazz & world sounds. Over a period of 6 - 7 years, before personnel began to move on and the band shrunk and mutated into a more studio-based unit called Species, the band toured extensively in the UK giving rave-received live performances at festivals, clubs and arts centres from Penzance to Cupar. Whilst the band was principally a live unit the recorded material was interesting and innovative along broadly dub-reggae lines. Only a handful of DoD recordings exist - a 12" ep 'Themanawar' and 6-track k7 - featuring tracks produced by Jonny 'Milty' Milton (Aswad, Maxi Priest etc) - and the CD ep 'Tartarsaurus'. The band also recorded a session in 1995 for Andy Kershaw's Radio 1 programme. If you take the Soundcloud link below you can hear or download (for free!) all of these tracks plus some recently unearthed live recordings from a gig in St.Austell, Cornwall. A video of Doctors of Dub featuring the bands trademark strange stage attire and some of the characters who used to people the stage - not least the legendary Tartarsaurus - has topped 10,000 viewings on YouTube. The re-mix of one of the bands most popular live tracks around which the video is based (see link below) was performed by Andy Montgomery, a stalwart of the trendsetting On-U Sound crew, and, I hope you'll agree, there are some awesome dub moments. The other two tracks on the ep were re-mixed by Tom 'Another Fine Day' Green and Manchester's hard-hitting Yam-Yam team. In concert DoD eschewed rock-star pyrotechnics (too expensive), opting instead for low-key ultra-violet lighting and face/body painting coupled with vibrant day-glo stage gear. Audiences loved this approach, although various lighting engineers across the country have been known to throw a sulk at the band. The band enjoyed touring and this came across on stage - audiences can sense it and are always happy to join the party. Doctors of Dub personnel (original line-up): Bass guitar: Vernon Munday Rhythm & lead guitar, vocal: John Warner Rhythm guitar: Dom Williams Keyboards & violin: 'Trouser' Dave Thompson Lead vocals: Oli Johnson Alto sax, flute, visuals, backing vox: Chrissy Quayle Trumpet, percussion: Ian Wright Alto & soprano sax: Paul Micah Percussion/visuals: Russell Roberts Drums: Dave Atkin Sound man was Ricky Dear. |

Search | Add | 3 | Gölden Palace | Gölden Palace is a punk rock band from Charleston, South Carolina consisting of Alex Charles Goss, Joseph Kimbrell (Vitne), Graham Spees, Johnny Emmel, and Andy Adkins. The group formed in Summer of 2004 as a four piece (minus Adkins) and recorded their debut album A Little Rock N' Roll. The group returned to the studio in 2008 for a follow-up album to be called Touch Me There, but the sessions were shelved upon their hiatus in 2009. Joseph moved to Norway and played in the Norwegian glam metal bands SEKS and HART before beginning a solo career as Vitne in 2013. The remaining four members continued performing together in South Carolina under the name Savage Tongues. 2015 saw Gölden Palace's reunion with a remastered release of A Little Rock N' Roll as well as their previously unreleased mini-album Touch Me There. In 2017 the group released their third album, the self-titled Gölden Palace.
