Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Silent Watcher Of Dark Matter | Stefan Eriksson | silentwatcher is a darkambient/black space ambient project from Sweden consisting of the sole member soundsculptor and sounddesigner myt (electronics, tape engineering, treatments). Emerged in the year 1999 with the first CD Installation that was released in May 1999. Installation explores dark, harsh ambient textures in the vein of Lustmord and Thomas Köner. It was followed-up by the the CD Deep Space in 2001. This work was heavily inspired by the motion picture 2001: A Space Odyssey and other works of Sir Arthur C. Clarke; hence the titles deriving from (the film) 2001 and (the book) 2061. Deep Space is commonly categorized as black space ambient. |

Search | Add | 3 | El Gordo's Revenge | El Gordo's Revenge was a suburban St. Louis band formed by two 15 year-olds when they realized playing Ramones songs was a lot easier than trying to play Iron Maiden songs. An early proto-EGR featured four students from Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Missouri. This lineup formed when acne-ridden Kevin Schneider and corpulent Matt Picker noticed Black Flag stickers on a nearby locker. They soon recruited the inhabitants of said locker despite the fact that neither Mike Virag, who looked 30 when he was 16, nor Adrian Martinez, a Mexican Jew, had ever played drums or bass. After winning their high school's battle of the bands (but getting disqualified for cursing and breaking a microphone) and playing something called "the Psycho Pera", Adrian and Mike moved to Seattle. (at some point the band briefly played with drummer Aristotle Kumpis or Tallis for short. His name was immediately bastardized to Aris Twat-hole or Phallus for short. He left to play in a Nirvana cover band) Kevin and Matt soon found replacements in bassist Nate Pionke, who was fat, and drummer Collin Smith, who was as black. This lineup saw the band play its first "real" shows and a select few consider it superior to later versions largely due to the zany antics of Collin Smith, who enjoyed telling racially-charged jokes that belied his African-American heritage. Collin also had a penchant for leaving his drum kit at the end of the show and strutting around in nothing but rhinestone boots, a sequined black cape and a blonde wig. Eventually Mike Virag moved back from Seattle after his girlfriend cheated on him with Larry from The Degenerats (who, ironically, EGR later played with in Kansas City) and began playing in the band once again - this time on guitar, which he's better at than bass. For some reason Nate and Collin quit or were kicked out or something. Matt Picker switched from guitar to drums and young Matt Wicks, another Parkway Central student and pals with Matt's little brother, joined on bass. This is the most well-known lineup of the group and showcases their growing musical talent as well as their increasingly esoteric and arbitrary songwriting style. The band's unique blend of classic punk and hardcore, hard rock, early rock 'n' roll, heavy metal and utter nonsense made them one of the top St. Louis bands of the mid-to-late 90s. During their three year reign of terror, they put out 3 cassette only albums, a 10" LP and a few compilation tracks. The band also played with some of the top national acts of the day, including the Promise Ring, Subhumans, the Donnas, Groovie Ghoulies, Mr. T. Experience, the Loudmouths, Very Metal, Acid Flesh, Zvook, and even played Cottleville hardcore fest '97 and Warped Tour '98 - where they were offered a record deal on Lookout! EGR broke up in 1998 in part because their bass player began listening to far too much hip-hop, but mostly because the band as a whole was sick of playing crappy songs about tacos and Bronson Pinchot at breakneck speed.

Search | Add | 3 | Schlock Tactile | Andrew Bergen | Schlock Tactile is an ulterior alias of Australian producer Andrez Bergen (a.k.a. Little Nobody), who's currently based in Tokyo. Search | Add | 3 | The Göteborg String Theory | The String Theory | The String Theory is a GRAMMY-nominated artist collective based in Berlin and Gothenburg, that since 2007 explores the outskirts of contemporary neo-classical music, electronica and wild pop by means of collaborative workshops, studio recordings and live performances. The String Theory pursues a long term experimental approach, investigating new ways of interdisciplinary collaboration, incorporating visual art, developing new performance concepts and facilitating international artist networking. Being essentially experimental in nature, The String Theory never stops questioning its own goals and sets out to regularly re-invent the way each separate project is conducted, and to further develop the unique sound of the ensemble. “Led by dynamic conductor PC Nackt, the intrepid orchestra embrace the unorthodox, the contemporary and the traditional, combining electronic background noises with luscious string arrangements and insistent brass. Mixing spectral beauty with gifted musicianship, this isn't just impressive, it's progressive." |

(AA.VV. 1903) |

Search | Add | 3 | Crawl "420" | The hardcore metal rock group Crawl "420" got its start in Anaheim, CA, in 1995. Dan Miller stepped in as singer, Chris Dorame covered bass, Zach Vodola provided the guitar work, and Jarred Pacheco offered pounding rhythm with his drums. Wild shows in and around California helped the young band build a following almost overnight. The same year of its formation, the foursome put together a debut offering for its fans, Fist to Face. Crawl "420" delivers extreme heavy rock seasoned with leftover thrash, the kind of stuff that invites the use of a mosh pit; this is music that isn't for those faint of heart, or those with sensitive sensibilities. In 1997, a sophomore release, Crawl "420" Green, hit the market. It was followed in 1999 by the album Severe and then in 2000 by Killmercial. Some of the tracks heavy metal fans can sample from these recordings are "Unforgiven," "Slime," "Head in Only," "Fucko," "Beer," "Frump," "Last Mistake," "Erase," and "Greed." Over the years the band has opened for groups including DRI 2x, Exodus, Flotsam, Man-O-War, Obituary, Sacred Reich, SOD, and Testament. In early 2001, the band went through a couple of major changes. Probably the biggest one was a change in the lineup. Guitarist Zach Vodola called it quits with the group and went out on his own. Guitarist Joe Young, who had been a onetime member of the group Comatose, replaced Vodola. The next big change was the name of the band. The members decided to do away with the "420" ending and just become known as Crawl. Crawl never went beyond the name change and later disbanded in Late 2001. In 2023, Crawl 420 reunited.

Search | Add | 3 | Marilyn Puskarich | Marilyn J. "Chee Chee" Puskarich Repasky | Marilyn J. “Chee Chee” Puskarich Repasky was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Mildred (Kirasic) Puskarich. She was raised on a farm in Plum Boro, Pennsylvania. The entire Puskarich family was deeply involved in tambura music. All six of the sisters learned to play tambura as children, and two of the sisters are currently in the TAA Hall of Fame. Marilyn was influenced by her sisters Caroline and Rose and followed them into the Duquesne Tamburitzans. Marilyn has used both her experiences as a “Tammie” and the Bachelor’s degree in Education she earned at Duquesne throughout her life. After graduation, Marilyn married John Repasky and this happy union led to three talented children, all lovers of tambura music. All three children – Jennifer, Michael, and Stephen – attended Duquesne University. Jennifer later used her “Tammie” experience to assist Marilyn in directing the Golden Triangle Junior Tamburitzans and son Stephen became a Junior Tamburitzan instructor. Marilyn has shared her love of playing tambura music and dancing kolos with students of all ages for over 30 years. She has directed, danced with and choreographed for innumerable performing groups in both Detroit and in several cities in Pennsylvania. In Detroit, she joined the Detroit Tamburitza Orchestra has both a player and a featured vocalist. In Pennsylvania, Marilyn has served as choreographer and vocal instructor for a series of junior groups, including the Trafford Junior Tamburitzans of Pittsburgh, Rankin Junior Tamburitzans, and Duquesne Junior Tamburitzans. Marilyn’s instruction has emphasized the importance of equipping students with the skills and knowledge they will need on stage and at social functions, but equally importantly, she has provided those under her guidance with a background and awareness of her culture and heritage. Marilyn also shares her talents and knowledge with more mature enthusiasts. For the last 20 years, Marilyn has been the instructor of Pittsburgh’s first adult kolo class. Marilyn is also an accomplished performer. Closest to her heart is her opportunity to sing with Orchestra Veseli. Performing and recording with Veseli has allowed Marilyn to sing with her sister Rose, and work with her brother-in-law Fred Husnick along with Ron Rendulic, all three TAA Hall of Fame members. Other credits include a recording with Orchestra Biseri (Orchestra Biseri featuring Marilyn Repasky), a recording with Orchestra Zabava, an Ensemble Festival recording consisting of Duquesne University Tamburitza alumni, performing with Zvonko Bogdan, Jerry Grcevich, George “Butchy” Kresovich, Chuck Cubelic, and Steve Wagner. Marilyn J. “Chee Chee” Repasky has spent a lifetime promoting, performing and pursuing knowledge of the instrumental and vocal music and dances of the tambura. She has sought only the highest quality in both her personal performance and the performances of those she directs. She has taken her own God-given talent and combined it with an amazing work ethic to create a unique, distinctive sound. She has introduced hundreds of players, singers and dancers to the world of tamburitza music and dance. Marilyn’s influence can be seen in those who are playing and dancing today because of her efforts. Perhaps the most significant are those not learning from Marilyn directly, but instead from her former students who are now directing their own groups of players, singers and dancers. There can be no greater legacy than to have children you taught grow up enjoying those lessons so much that they in turn pass on the knowledge to a new generation. |

Search | Add | 3 | Vodku | World-music group from Hungary originally founded in 1992 as Vodku V Glotku, but soon shortened their name to Vodku. The goal of the band is to introduce the folk music of the nations throughout Central and Eastern Europe, mixed with its own musical concepts. The dominant elements in the music of the band are Hungarian, Jewish, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, as well as other folk motives from Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkanes. This is mixed with the elements of rock, jazz and other progressive musical styles. As a result, a musical world is created on the stage, which would sound like home to many nations inhabiting the Central and Eastern European region. The band is on hiatus since 2017. Members thru the years: Bede Sarolta, Szabó Árpád, Takács Szabolcs, Bakos Csaba, Bata István, Vázsonyi János, Nemes János, Nedeczky Júlia, Szeredás Lőrinc, Ruthner Gábor, Kiss Attila
