Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Leslie Overdrive | The book of Leslie In the beginning God created the four men. Now these four men were square and empty, darkness was over the surface of their souls, and the Spirit of God was hovering over them. And God said, "Let there be Hammond," and there was Hammond. God saw that the Hammond was good, and He separated the Hammond from the Leslie. God called the Hammond "funk," and the Leslie he called "soul." And there was funk, and there was soul—Leslie Overdrive. It was in 2003 that Craig and Kapper first met. They quickly discovered their mutual love of swirling Hammond and thus, there was only one way forward. In early ’05 they came into contact with Kristian who joined their former cabaret-project “Funksovs” (Funkgravy). But only a few months after the arrival of “The Reverend” they decided to turn the boat in a whole new direction. Teaming up with Craig’s childhood schoolmate Mads, all four now looked onwards and upwards towards a future filled with fun, love and buckets full of Hammond. | Search | Add | 2 | On X Point | "It was 1987 when I caught the first XOn PointX show. It took place at the legendary Philadelphia space The Garage. The Crowd of 40 or so could not possibly have been prepared for the onslaught of goodwill they were about to witness that night. I stood, jaw gaping wide open, as XOn PointX lay waste the musical stylings of headliners Chain of Strength and Uniform Choice. In a Philly scene still plagued by the "live fast, die young" attitudes of late '70's punk rock, XOn PointX set an entire movement in motion towards positive commitment and the path to righteousness. It would be nearly 2 years before the release of a classic demo. With giant labels such as Revelation and Dischord moving towards indie-rock obscurity, XOn PointX found themselves without a home to release an EP and eventually called it quits. I can still recall the scent of the beer, from the smashed bottles, at the last show in 1989, the final show at The Garage. How would four 10-12 year-old kids affect Philly HXC so deeply?! It seems unbelievable!!!" Straight edge by band consisting of members of Ink and Dagger. Demo recorded in 1996. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sarah Ellen Dunlop | Dunlop was considered a pioneer to her peers in the 'gay' community when working in that environment as a musician / songwriter. Being a Canadian openly gay woman put her in a unique marketing position, not only for her singing but for opening one of the first gay & lesbian bars in Toronto, called the Music Room. She founded one of the few openly lesbian bands in the early 70's, called Mama Quilla and also ran her own label imprint "Sara Ellen's Homemade Records" . Sara Ellen Dunlop died from affliction of cancer in 1978. A new band formed after her death and in honor of Mama Quilla, they called themselves Mama Quilla II. They released one 12" 45 in 1982 and from it I picked the song "Angry Young Woman." | |

We live by the beach and we love the sunshine, bubblegum and falling in love. We also love punk and denim and getting fu**ed up. We grew up wanting to be in a gang, like all our favourite bands. We dress in the Hi Fi uniform, but we’re all different. Young Francis is the leader of the pack, Jimi is the sun who shines on us all, Danny Joe has a heart of gold and Bobby binds us together. We have a studio near the beach called The Bubblegum Basement, where we write and hang out and daydream, and where we make the razor sharp sound of the Hi Fi. We signed with Dirty Water Records in the dressing room right after a show. We made our record “The Young Generation” at Toe Rag Studios in London, with Liam Watson (White Stripes and more). Our record is music for dancing and for romancing, with 4 on the floor, handclaps, soaring solos and a singalong sound. Almost every song is a true story, but Julia isn’t really called Julia. We love 60’s Bubblegum and 70’s Punk. We love Garage Rock and Power Pop. So go ahead - DANCE. SHOUT. MAKE OUT!" - Young Francis, August 2023.
