These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Studied violin and clarinet at the Bern Music Conservatory, before discovering the tenor saxophone and American jazz which he helped introduce to Switzerland through orchestras and bands. He started out to play in some local Basel Jazz combos together with his brother Albert Linder in the early 50s. His first Rock & Roll record (Heartbreak Hotel b/w Minor Rock by Die Rock & Rollers) came out as a vinyl 45 back in ca. 1956/1957 on Tell Records. By 1957 he would become a recording artist for Grammoclub Ex Libris. From 1957 on until ca. into the early 1970's Big Pitt Linder would also be hosting his own weekly radio show on the national Swiss Basel Radio, where he would usually play some music by his own bands, mixed with lots of music by other bands. He used to record and a t times conducted hundreds of records for Ex Libris, and some other labels. Those records were usually recorded at Landgasthof Riehen (Basel), or at Radio DRS, Basel. His firm Linder Electronics, Basel, installed sound systems in discos, auditoriums and concert halls. The PA-system from the first Swiss Rolling Stones concert in Zürich was built by Pitt Linder. His undertaking used to be called "Linder Electronics" back then. Linder Electronics existed from the early 60s until around the mid '80s. Pitt Linder used to build the PA's for most of the local Basel Beat-bands from the 60s in order so that they could play in bigger venues. By the mid-60s virtually nobody would remember him as an old Jazz, and Rock & Roll musician anymore, but he built the PA system for the Montreux Jazz Festival. Later on towards the late 80s he moved to New Jersey, USA, to become a famous recording engineer (for mostly classical music) in New York City. He designed and installed the sound and light system for the Swiss Pavilion for the World Expo in Tsukuba Japan (1985). The last 14 years of his life were spent in Victoria BC Canada where he enjoyed hiking and the renowned classical and jazz community. He was a friend to the Victoria Conservatory of Music, who established a Pitt Linder Memorial Fund for young musicians after his death at the age of 94 on 1 December 2018. |

Shopping Trolley was the band Miller led for several years in the 1980s and early 1990s. John Miller's work aches with a nostalgia for a golden age of English and American rock and pop music often of a somewhat off-centre variety. It is the world of the late Sixties/early Seventies and the annus mirabilis was 1971; reflected in the release by CBS of the double album compilation 'Rockbuster'; an event which Miller credits as a life-changing experience. John Miller's work over his entire career, starting with the superb Painswick Tapes in the late 70s/early 80s and continuing right through to the recent release of 'Preference', captures this era in style with a back catalogue of original songs and excellently judged cover versions. Around the age of 2 in Cobham, Surrey, John Miller began listening to records and hitting things. The lack of a drumkit partially diverted his musical inclinations from furniture to the piano, which he started learning formally at the age of 6. Gradually teaching himself to play by ear, he began making his own jazz/blues/pop concoctions and playing for various shows, concerts and plays. He had also become interested in making tape recordings using keyboards, drums, voices and biscuit tins. In 1989 he wrote and produced the 'Shopping Trolley' album for Hannibal Records, and he has created many more albums for his own 'Polenta' label featuring new and archival material. His work based in London has been highly diverse, with solo and group appearances and gigs with Stackridge, Van Morrison, Jacqui Dankworth, Simon Rackham (as 'Ornamental Balustrade') and many others. He is currently collaborating with the drummer Ben Reed in the duo 'Cardboard'. | |

Daqui nasceu este projecto de Thrash Metal que tem as suas maiores influências no Thrash germânico dos anos 80. De início era para ser feita uma edição de autor, mas no entanto decidiram enviar os temas para editoras, sendo que a primeira editora foi a Selvajaria Records que de imediato disse que queria editar a demo, sendo que com isso a banda não contactou mais ecitoras. A banda começou de imediato a trabalhar no artwork e design para a demo, trabalhos esses que ficaram aqui cargo do vocalista Roberto Raposo e o colectivo veio a escolher o título de um dos temas para título da demo que se intitula Seeds Of Hate. [ENG] SADISTIK WARFARE was born from an idea by Nuno Santos, who is the guitarist in Amputate, to do something outside his comfort zone, since until today he had only played in Death and Black Metal bands he decided to do some Thrash Metal. After composing 3 songs he invites his friend and former Amputate drummer to take care of the drums and than invited two friends from the Algarve, to participate in this project, for bass, Hugo Conim (Dawrider, Dragon's Kiss, The Limit, etc.) and for vocals, Roberto Raposo (Sortilege). This Thrash Metal project was born from here, which has its biggest influences on the German Thrash of the 80s. Initially it was supposed to be an author's edition, but they decided to send the songs to publishers, the first label being Selvajaria Records who immediately said that he wanted to edit the demo, and as a result the band did not contact any more publishers. The band immediately started working on the artwork and design for the demo, which work was left to vocalist Roberto Raposo and the collective chose the title of one of the songs for the title of the demo, which is called Seeds Of Hate. The demo features three original songs and a cover of the Wild In The Streets song by Circle Jerks, which was part of the 1986 skateboarding film Thrashin'.
