Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Grotoko | Winnipeg's Grotoko is an art rock project, drawing inspiration from punk, grunge, and classical music. Its name is a collage of the words "rococo" and "grotesque". Using melodic lines and a confessional, sometimes sarcastic, non-sense lyrical style, it is a celebration of emotions, attempting to create something mildly beautiful from some uglier things in human experience. | |

The common ground was pop punk, but over the course of some shows around town and two recording sessions, they forged their own direction from that starting place. Eventually their directions diverged. From their promo bio: "The synthesis of something ugly and something pretty is what Quassi Go-Go is all about. Like a monster in a miniskirt, Quasi Go-Go bring influence from California, the Notherwest, and the Midwest, and rock melody and riffs in a catchy blend of songs." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Concertina Spiral | Formed on the rugged shores of Inis Mór, the largest of Ireland’s Aran Islands, The Concertina Spiral craft music that feels as windswept and elemental as their homeland. Blending synthpop shimmer with post-punk introspection, flashes of folk melody, and the melodic tension of alternative rock, the trio channel both the melancholy of isolation and the defiant beauty of connection. Their songs oscillate between analogue warmth and digital pulse: this is music made for tide-washed evenings and neon nights alike. Fronted by Kieran Ó Callanáin (vocals, guitar, keyboards), alongside lifelong friend Eamon Flaherty (bass, piano, drums, programming) and the quietly magnetic Sorcha Ní Fhlannagáin (keyboards, violin, viola, cello, vocals), The Concertina Spiral are as much a meeting of temperaments as of sounds. Kieran and Eamon grew up inseparable on the island, bonding over imported Depeche Mode tapes while dodging the taunts of football-mad schoolmates. They met Sorcha at university in Galway, where her keen ear for arrangement, which she inherited from her mother, a minor but acclaimed playwright, rounded out their sonic world. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Brothers Egg | Brothers Egg formed in 2015 in Wilmington, NC when brothers [a=Jamie Eggleston] and [a=Hunter Eggleston] teamed-up with [a=Suzanna Crist] to forge a vibrant, individual sound from their wide range of instruments and musical influences. Their music reflects an eclectic and driving blend of Roots Rock, Bluegrass, Country and World Music. Brothers Egg hatched after James spent time living in South Africa, where he honed his ear for African rhythms and melodies while traveling and surfing around the country. In the meantime, Hunter thru-hiked, solo the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail where he gained a newfound appreciation for American roots music and Appalachian bluegrass. The brothers returned home with new song ideas and a fresh approach to songwriting. Suzanna Crist was discovered by James at an open mic night at Grinders Café in Wilmington, NC. Upon hearing her sing and play, James decided to play some of his own songs and asked Suzanna if she would sit in on violin. A strong musical connection was felt, and a positive reaction from the room followed. Weekly jam sessions ensued and Suzi eventually accepted the brothers invitation to join the band. Contributing tasteful fiddle hooks and harmonies, Suzanna brings a unique musical element to the Brothers Egg. James and Hunter's father, [a=David Eggleston] played drums and recorded with some infamous R&B and rock bands out of Richmond, VA in the 1980’s and now frequently joins his kids on stage behind the drum kit. [a=Jimmy Thompson (8)] was spotted in Raleigh, NC while playing bass with the alt. country outfit the [a=Debonzo Brothers]. James took note of his tasteful playing, and when the band relocated to Raleigh, Jimmy was asked to join. A veteran of the Raleigh music scene, Jimmy's playing is unassuming yet packs with a punch. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Rusty Cleavers | The Rusty Cleavers are a group of four weirdos with a shared love of bluegrass, punk, jazz, funk, and whatever Tom Waits is. Luke is a stay-at-home dad with a 7-year degree in percussion performance who SLAYS the washboard and 4-string guitar. Kevin is an elementary music school teacher and garlic enthusiast who SHREDS the mandolin and 6-string guitar. Zach would rather be pushing a slab of oak through his ban saw than talking to you and he MURDERS the bass. Forest is a music therapist at Washington’s largest psychiatric hospital who PICKS the banjo. When these four odd-balls get together, their voices combine for sometimes gruff, sometimes sweet harmonies on songs about lust misuse, trust issues, and dying young. Their instruments create a twangy cacophonous orchestra of metal and wood that has been bringing audiences to a compassionate frenzy at hundreds of performances across the Pacific Northwest for the past decade. This is not your backwards grandpa’s or creepy uncle’s redneck bluegrass. This is queer-loving, Black Lives Matter proclaiming, progressive pickin’ from the heart of Tacoma. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Thomas Nast | Thomas Nast (September 27, 1840 – December 7, 1902) was a German-born American caricaturist and editorial cartoonist considered to be the "Father of the American Cartoon". He was the scourge of Democratic Representative "Boss" Tweed and the Tammany Hall Democratic party political machine. Among his notable works were the creation of the modern version of Santa Claus and the political symbol of the elephant for the Republican Party. Contrary to popular belief, Nast did not create Uncle Sam (the male personification of the American people), Columbia (the female personification of American values), or the Democratic donkey, though he did popularize these symbols through his artwork. Nast was associated with the magazine Harper's Weekly from 1859 to 1860 and from 1862 until 1886. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Victor Menace | Victor Menace | ‘Victor Menace’ is the instrumental brainchild of alternative composer and musician Ruth Theodore (Guardian ****/ MOJO****). Forming the band back in 2006, the sheer pace and infectious danceability, was an instant hit on the festival circuit and within a few years ‘Victor Menace’, fronted by Theodore on Violin and Alejandro Toledo (The Magic Tombolinos) on sax, was headlining the world music stages at Bestival, Hackney WickED, and Glastonbury’s Shangri-La stage. Soon after the release of their self titled debut record, the band sadly split as key members moved overseas and Theodore went on to release a further three acclaimed solo records. But at 3am on New Years Eve 2016, she declared war once more and reformed the band, with the original bassist and fellow composer Mike Limmer (La Chula), Lucien Windrich (eVoid) on acoustic, Haruna Komatsu (No Cars) on Clarinet and Sax, Luke Upperton (Ska-prest) on lead electric, and Arturs Reirs (Eugene "Hideaway" Bridges / Steve Nimmo Trio) on drums. Remembered for their infamously energetic live shows the band were instantly asked back to Bestival 2016 and are now on the rampage. |
