Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | First Blush | First Blush is a dream pop band founded by singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Charles Sekel in 2012. After releasing two EPs, First Blush EP (2012) and Supersynthetic (2013), the band went on a hiatus while Sekel wrote and recorded Monologic. First Blush's music centers around themes of depression and isolation, and the struggle to be optimistic while journeying through the darker corners of the psyche. Borrowing from sources as diverse as The Beach Boys and The Who to M83 and The Flaming Lips, First Blush melds its influences under a cloak of distorted and atmospheric textures.

Search | Add | 3 | Anne Collingham | Anne Collingham was not a real person. It was made up by Tony Barrow in 1963 to help keep things simple at [l104714]. A variety of girls who worked at the fan club were used as 'Anne Collingham' for photos at the time. Tony Barrow wrote about this in the May 1983 issue of the Beatle Book Monthly: "I decided in June 1963 that the Club should have a Nation Secretary based in London at our Monmouth Street address. Until then, fans in the South had kept in touch through [a11055221] in Surrey whilst [a13414875] had looked after the top half of Britain from her NEMS office base in Liverpool. The name of the new National Secretary was given as 'Anne Collingham'. In fact, no such person ever existed. The 'Collingham' part came from part of my secretary's home address in Earls Court, and Anne was my wife's middle name. It wasn't done in order to deceive the fans. It was intended to be helpful. Clearly as the membership grew a full time office staff of clerks and helpers would be needed. There was little to be gained from confusing members by letter them receive replies from an assortment of people, especially as staff were coming and going all the time. So the simplest answer seemed to be to have Anne Collingham as the regular signature on all individual reply letters, on newsletters and on all the Club's printed stationery. There was another massive advantage. The press office and the Fan Club shared a single telephone number, COVent Garden 2332. As the publicity side of things became busier we were not only handling the Beatles but all the other NEMS acts ranging from Billy J. Kramer to Cilla Black. The telephone lines were being used more and more heavily. Therefore it was convenient to know at once if a caller wanted the press office or the Fan Club. If the caller asked or Anne Collingham, it was passed straight through to the right room to be handled quickly. Personal callers at 13 Monmouth Street always found themselves talking to come of Anne Collingham's assistants. Ms. Collingham herself seemed to eb permanently unavailable to meet her visiting members! The Fan club grew so fast that we took an extra floor of office space above the press office's suite of rooms. Here at least half a dozen full time workers coped with the mountains of mail. These peopel included Michael Crowther-Smith, tony Catchpole, Yvonne Sainsbury, Monica Stringer and Macy Cockram. By the end of 1963, Bettina Rose, the Surrey-based South of England Secretary, had been put on the full-time NEMS payroll and was working at at Monmouth Street as the colleague of 'Anne Collingham'. The two signed themselves as 'Joint National Secretaries of the Official Beatles Fan Club'. Bettina's physical appearance at Monmouth Street meant that at least one of the Club's chiefs was on hand to meet visitors in person."

Search | Add | 3 | Schismatique Destruction | Schismatique Destruction were a french trio who was active from 1996 to 2000. The band was formed by three people who were making some noisy minimal dark wave songs. Lyrics are very dark and deeply depressed with a lot of black humour. Members were Guillaume and Smoothy, the singer and the keyboardist both previously in Le M, a New Wave duo and Monsieur Jean-Pierre on guitar who also do music under the alias Kalachnikov since the early 90s. Monsieur Jean-Pierre and GM met during a training session for unemployed artists. The band follow a concept called the Blitz : The music is principally improvised when lyrics are written in a very short time. It's a concept already used by GM and Smoothy when they were drawing together and in their previous band. They released only one tape in 1997 distributed by KAP, the Kalachnikov tape label at the time and songs in a compilation "At home with you" also by KAP. They've split two times. At the end the project SD become Section Morne who follows an other dogma. The sound of Section Morne is really repetitive with heavy bass and guitars riff and deep lyrics. The band definitely stop in 2001. A repress of the first album, digitaly remastered was done by Fougère Cassette in november 2013. The second one was never released it was issued by Fougère cassette in late 2014.

Search | Add | 3 | Grete Lienert-Zultner | From Scola, Ortrun; Schiel, Annemarie: Transylvanian-Saxon female figures. Her life and work, Edited by the Country Team of the Transylvanian Saxons in Germany eV The father was a school principal and Ecclesiastes - he led the church choir and the Adjuvantenkapelle - the mother of a first trained with Adele Zay kindergarten teachers. Grete's wish was from childhood to become a teacher. She attended public school in Sibiu, where Minka Bruckner was their revered teacher, then the teacher-training college in Sighisoara. She was a popular, efficient and sangesfreudige student. Here they not only discovered her love for music but also for populist poetry of Anna Schuller Schullerus. In that time already developed the first experiments with dialect poetry, supported and promoted by the seminar director, Dr. Heinz Brandsch. After their completion in 1925 it was only a short time teacher, as they already in 1926 married the notary Michael Lienert and the then regional church provisions of married teachers were not allowed to continue teaching. This injunction was lifted only in 1937. But in addition to her family - she had two sons and a daughter - she served in the Women's Association, gave lectures and recitals together with Anna Schuller Schullerus, Luise Help leg and Gerda Miess-Lipponen. When singing with children and young people always created new songs, mostly in the Saxon dialect. Inspired by the folk tales of Anna Schuller Schullerus, Grete Lienert himself wrote plays and directed them also. Her most famous among them are: "Äm your uch Gläck" (To honor and happiness), "Bäm Brännchen" (The little spring), "Farmer Liesel" and "hu Fosnicht mer" (Shrove we have). All pieces are elegant, rich "folk poetry", characterized by simplicity and earthiness true (H. Mieskes). The profession of the husband as a civil servant brought frequent change of location with himself and opened up Grete Lienerts work always new circles of life and people who encouraged her art and encouraged: Schuster Dutz, Hans Mild - with which they brought out the later award-winning song "Ta Drimer" - Carl Reich Elder., Lena Kraus, Serious Irtel and Christine Maly part uva After 1937 taught Grete Lienert again, collecting in 26 years of teaching activity in Netus, Neustadt, because village Schaas and other places further knowledge to the Saxon folk song. It originated their songs in folk style: "De asters blähn Insem äm garden", "The Owend kit to chan". They are among the best known and sung as folk songs in Germany and America. Their dramatic poem "The burned Maid", a historical fabric of the Saxon past, was awarded a prize. In the dark years after the Second World War, the family Lienert suffered the fate of many compatriots: The husband was deported to Russia as a German, later came back as a patient, the family had to suffer expropriation, prohibition and difficult training of their children. During this time, Grete Lienert founded a folk song-singing group who also sang a record with 14 Lienert songs, and also an amateur game group that toured the Saxon villages with their stage and radio plays, and the country people brought encouragement and refreshment in their hard life . From 1963 the family lived in Sighisoara, where Grete a welcome fellow in the neighborhood, the church choir and literature circle was. From the singing group, a chamber choir which still exists today. In 1978 the family moved to West Germany and now lives in Traunreut. Again, Grete Lienert soon became a center of Music and Dramatic as a cultural consultant and helped the country team in the establishment of a Transylvanian choir with. Her songs are sung by all Transylvanian choirs, especially by the excellent "by Samuel Madrigal Choir Cantores Brukenthal Cibiniensis". In Germany two songbooks and tapes published two poetry. From restless creative tätigem Grete Lienert was called away unexpectedly on 1.4.1989.
