Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Ediktos Juveniles | Ediktos Juveniles, band from Posadas, Misiones, Argentina that moved between rock garage, hc and punx go go…. It started back in '95, at the end of that year. They met in the rock music scene of Posadas, which began to take shape around the year 92. By that year there were already many bands and a fairly large audience. Mali and Seko had known each other since ‘94 because they played together in a band called Necrology, a band whose music was very different from Ediktos . Javo and Misfit were part of those people who are always in shows and wanting to do things. They had a band that did not last long called Odio Extremo, and the four met each other precisely at concerts and as part of the same movement of people who liked rock and music with social content. With the passing of the years and many beautiful experiences in shows and rehearsals, they gave shape to what was their first album in April 1999, entitled "EDIKTOS JUVENILES, un banda posadeña que se movía entre el rock garage, el hc y el punx go go… . The doors were opened to them with outside gangs and it was possible to meet the gang in other places that crossed the borders of our province. They played in Buenos Aires on two occasions with the Boom Boom Kid, the first in La Trastienda for more than 1,000 people and the second on a mini tour that included three dates. Also in Mar del Plata, the interior of the province and in other provinces such as Corrientes, and even Paraguay, both in Encarnación (city opposite Pdas.) And in Asunción. In 2001, Ediktos underwent a change of member and joined the Carmelo guitar that came from playing in other bands (Basura S.A .. more precisely)

Search | Add | 4 | Biastfear | BiastFear | Includes former members of Ohio metal band [a=Sacrifix (3)]. There are two definitive eras of the band's history, although three additional line-ups existed. The "metal" era of the band featured two pairs of male friends joining forces to combine their love of thrash, industrial and death metal. Influences included: Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, Fear Factory, Acid Bath, Nailbomb, Napalm Death and Machine Head. A demo, ("A Worthless Emotion"), and a full-length, ("The Ties That Bind"), were released. Some hints of the band's newer influences were apparent on the full-length release, but would come to fruition in the coming years. The band started to evolve and experiment with their sound, eventually losing the death and thrash influences in favor of groove and attitude. New influences included: Coal Chamber, Sevendust, Stuck Mojo, Manhole L.A., Living Colour and Biohazard. One of the founding members didn't like the musical direction and was asked to leave the band. A new male vocalist was acquired but his time with the band was short-lived. He was replaced be a female vocalist and the second era of the band truly began. Retaining their down-tuned guitars from their heavier days, the band began to write music inspired by where heavy music was going to instead of where it had been. The band's second full-length was released on the verge of the dawn of what would become known shortly as "nu-metal", although in December of 2000 nobody really called it that yet, so the band and their fans made up their own genre definitions: some called it heavy-hop and some called it R&Bcore. Questionable experimentation with hip-hop aside, it resounded with fans in a big way and the band found themselves touring more often and playing to bigger crowds. Demos were made for a follow-up recording and shopped to labels, but the band found far too many people unsure of exactly how to market the band, even though they agreed the music was strong and the band's live performance was solid. The stagnation lead members to start to experiment with side-projects and other interests, and with no official farewell show, the band went on an indefinite hiatus and never reconvened. |

Unlike some bands, they are not simply entertaining crowds with a bunch of fifties covers. Instead, they have written, performed and recorded a set of original songs with the verve, energy and jump of that original rock ‘n roll attitude.

Search | Add | 4 | Baby Bertha | Baby Bertha formed from the ashes of Relative in late 1971. Several members came and went before the band featuring Dave Ellis, guitar/vocals, and Des Law, drums, finally settled into a groove with the addition of Ian Mclaughlin on bass and Roger 'Proff' Perry on rhythm guitar. The band went from strength to strength playing the south coast from Hastings to Southampton throughout 1972. In January, '72, they cut a demo LP at SRT Studios, Luton featuring songs mainly written by Dave Ellis. Musical differences arose when Des decided he wanted to be a DJ rather than a drummer. As luck would have it, Dave and Ian met Pete Gibbons, drummer with Sweet Poison, at the Bournmouth Folk and Rock contest in February 1973. Pete was an outstanding, agressive drummer and after one jam, they formed the band Charge. Sadly, both Pete and Roger Perry are no longer with us. Members Dave Ellis (vocs, gtr), Ian Mclaughlin (bass gtr), Roger 'Prof' Perry (gtr), Desmond Law (drums).

Justin released his first single "Cherry Margarita" in 2017 and has since continued to release new music. His music has been supported by some big names in the business, including; Annie Mac, Shiba San, H@k, Matt Prehn, Fish Go Deep, Tahir Jones, K-Zan, and Al Bradley. Search | Add | 4 | The Bollands | Always on the road, New Zealand folk duo, The Bollands, have been singing their infectious foot stomping folk songs since 2011. With their love of travel, music, good friends & fine wine, they have gained a reputation for their passion-filled live shows and heartfelt folk tunes. Their energetic music stems from their upbringing in the folk and roots music scenes in small towns and folk clubs throughout New Zealand. Christian, a hairy folk singer, met Joyce, the not so hairy pianist, at a campfire jam on a remote beach in their home country, New Zealand. They clicked instantly. Since that fate-filled night, they have been playing their passion-filled songs on the road throughout the world. For the past few years Joyce and Christian have been based in Hong Kong touring constantly.
