Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

In ’88 at underground parties around the St. Louis area Don began his DJ career, spinning industrial from such labels as, Wax Trax, Nettwerk and TVT. In the years to come, he studied the art form then generically known as rave or techno. By 1990 Don had found House music, at the time only found in small underground clubs. Shortly after Don began producing house music, which yielded his first live production in 1993. This began a six-year period of toning his style and technique. After meeting a group of local Dub producers with a talent for “doing it live”, the five performed their debut as the live "Space House" House music production, 84 Glyde. Don has become known for his ability to excel at many production / DJ styles of music ranging from Ambient & Deep House to Hard Techno and everything in between. |

Combining the grit of ’90s grunge with the sensitivity of modern indie and punk, Socially Ill explored identity, longing, and internal conflict. The early EP Mental Prisoners of the Mental Prison (2022) and the concept album Love Letter of Self-Deprivation (2023) showcased Brinley’s evolution as both a songwriter and producer, drawing from influences like The Cure, Oasis, and Bob Dylan. These projects embodied a fearless honesty and experimental edge that set the foundation for her new creative chapter. Now, under a fresh alias, Brinley is channeling those roots into a new era of sound that blends shoegaze, punk, and surreal storytelling into something both cathartic and transformative. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Paul Weingardt | Paul Henry Weingardt | Paul H. Weingardt was a native Colorado accordionist born of Volga-German immigrant parents in Sterling on September 24, 1915. Both of his parents were born in the area along the Volga river where Russian Empress Catherine the Great had invited Germans to immigrate in the mid-late 18th century. A century later, many of them came to America, settling in (among other places) northeastern Colorado and the adjacent western Nebraska panhandle and working in the sugar beet industry. Paul’s parents, the Weingardt and the Appelhans families, came to Sterling, while his future wife’s family, the Klugs, stopped in Julesburg, 50 miles up the recently completed Union Pacific Railroad line near the Nebraska border. Many of the musicians who played with Paul were also from Volga-German immigrant families, by the name of Schneider, Deines, Sewald and Walters. During the 1940s and 50s, Paul joined his brothers Frank and Alex, performing as the “Alpine Boys” or the “Alpine Dutch Hop Boys,” along with hammered dulcimer (tsimbal) players Palmer Deines or Henry Schneider, reed man Jake Walters and horn man V. A. Hartman. Later, Paul was joined by his nephews, Leroy Weingardt and Paul E. Weingardt, both of whom taught music with him at the “Alpine School of Accordion Champions.” Henry Schneider’s younger brother Alex also performed with the Weingardts, and Henry and Alex performed together as the “Schneider Brothers.” In 1948, the Cooper Music and Appliance Center of Fort Collins advertised five 78 rpm records as new releases by the Weingardt Brothers and Palmer Deines, a hammered dulcimer player. The label was “C.R.S.” with the discs numbered 102 through 106. These recordings appear to have been reissued in the early 1950s on Frontier, a Denver label that issued additional releases by Weingardt, as well as by other musicians. Paul also issued material on his own “Alpine” label. Tragically, Paul and Anna Weingardt, along with Henry and Frieda Schneider, died in a car crash in Wyoming, returning to Denver from a performance at the Scottsbluff/Gering VFW Hall in Nebraska. Paul and Anna’s eleven-year-old son, Kenneth, was injured but survived. Paul was aged 49 and Anna 47. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Keith Jarrett Quartet | [a=Keith Jarrett]'s "American Quartet" grew from the first [a=Keith Jarrett Trio] (featuring [a=Charlie Haden] on bass and [a=Paul Motian] on drums), when saxophonist [a=Dewey Redman] joined the 1971 recording sessions for what eventually became the albums [m=238335] and [m=119164]. By 1973 the metamorphosis from trio to quartet was complete with Dewey becoming a full member. The group lasted until October 1976 and recorded almost a dozen albums in this brief period, sometimes featuring extra musicians such such as guitarist [a=Sam Brown (2)] or percussionists [a=Guilherme Franco] and [a=Airto Moreira]. The American Quartet was given this moniker to distinguish it from Jarrett's "European" or "Scandinavian Quartet", featuring [a=Jan Garbarek], [a=Palle Danielsson] and [a=Jon Christensen]. It should be noted that even though both groups formally existed, they were never credited as such on any of the albums they released, which generally only billed Keith Jarrett as main artist. | |

They first started as a duo with djelert1 and Roman Zaragoza collaborating a more eclectic funky but a bit dark kinda styles of breakbeat/early 90's hardcore break styles. Finding loopholes whenever possible to work in old school hip hop beats and vocal samples, all the while creating their own personalized electronic sound. Unfortunately Roman Zaragoza left the duo in early 2001. However djelert1, aka elertfunk, aka dj elert, will remain as sole survivor of the Funkyard Warriors, with new and also some revised work of some older unreleased material. So keep a lookout for new Funkyard Warriors material to be released later this year and also listen to resident "dj elert" on ustream.tv/channel/redlab-radio on certain friday nights from 7:30pm-1:00am PST. |

A few years ago, he decided to set traditional instruments aside, to follow his way amound computers, telling stories while trying to tame the hardware. His music is a diary, first lines written further from electronic designs: it all starts with a minor fact, an image, a landscape. The following is all about being the witness of one’s own trek. |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Kapp Ivory Project | Kapp and Rachel met in Detroit in 1989 not long after Kapp came back from touring with The Winans and Rachel was still doing track dates with Kiara, an Arista recording artist. Kapp and Rachel started recording in various studios around the city trying to develop their own unique sound, but then decided to establish their own studio for greater consistency and accessibility. In the early 1990's, Rachel topped the state and performed on Star Search with Ed McMahon, where she reached the semi-finals. In the meantime, Kapp was working with people like Motown writer Barrett Strong and Parliament/ Funkadelic founding member Calvin Simon, both Rock & Roll Hall of Famers. They also teamed with a Detroit radio station personality and created the theme song for the Detroit Pistons at the time of their N.B.A. championship. They then collaborated with legendary techno-house DJ Kevin Saunderson, from Virgin Records recording artist Inner City, on The Reese Project. The first single Direct Me (Giant Records/Warner), featuring Rachel, went #1 for six weeks on the U.K. Billboard charts. The second single, Colour of Love (Giant Records/Warner), also featuring Rachel, went #3 for four weeks on the U.K. charts, as the full CD Faith, Hope & Clarity (Giant Records/Warner) was released. During the later 1990's, Kapp and Rachel produced and collaborated with a number of artists, including R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop, Gospel, Rap, Classical, and Country. In 1999, Kapp teamed with Kern Brantley from Crazy Joint (Bad Boy Records) and produced Lighthouse for the gospel choir New Direction on Word Records/Sony. Family Unit was formed later that year, developing a strong local Detroit following and a library of unreleased studio recordings. Since then, Kapp and Rachel's production work has been in constant demand, with Kapp's contributions on Put Your Hands Up In the Air (Westbound, 2001) by the Original P (Parliament/Funkadelic) being his most recent hit effort. | |
