Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Slope Unit | Sasa | Originally from Poland, Slope Unit has debuted over a decade ago in the infamous club [M]etro Club back in his hometown, Białystok. Record-digging routines together with dedication to the rhythm drew his attention towards the wider aspect of sonic experimentation which pushed him to start producing his own material. After a few years of relentless mixing in Warsaw, he was looking for a more suitable place to unfold his musical journey, and London turned out to be the location. Hardware synthesizers were suddenly overshadowed by eurorack's universe, what was recycled later on for his recently released EP's on Modular Underground and Totentanz Recordings. He is a part of the Based On Lies showcase together with his partner in crime - Joanna (T A K A) discovered back in 2016 by Dazed & Confused and endorsed by Revive Festival 2019. Now returning to DJing, Slope Unit constantly amazes us with the immense energy of his sets and his uncompromising selections, claiming that pushing musical boundaries is his call of duty. |

This is the time when he scoured the clubs of Abidjan with his group, the Black Devils. He would later join Les Scorpions then Les Shafts, after having been known as a Ziglibithy dancer alongside Ernesto Djédjé. In 1985, he appeared on stage at the Houphouët-Boigny stadium with zêzê-pop. He did not then experience the expected success. But from the 1990s, begins for the zêzê-pop, an important recognition. John Mayal becomes John Yalley. The name means "suffering" in Bété. Later John Yalley creates Les Kyffys (The Chefs), a transnational group and then takes the name of John Kyffys. With his companions, John Yalley enjoyed dazzling success, both in Côte d'Ivoire and outside the borders of his country of origin. |

| Search | Add | 3 | The American Society Of Ancient Instruments | Founded in 1929 by [a=Ben Stad]. The American Society of Ancient Instruments is the oldest active period instrument organization in the U.S. Members of the group include Ben Stadt (director and viola d’amore), Maurice Stad (bass de viole), Joseph Brodo (Quinton), Josef Smit (viola de gamba), and Flora Stad (harpsichord). The ensemble was modelled after the famous [a=La Société Des Instruments Anciens] in France. The French ensemble made a fair number of recordings - most of them devoted to pastiche pieces written by Henri or Marius Casadesus and attributed to older composers. On the other hand, the Stad ensemble, although they surely had some of these Casadesus pastiches in their repertoire, recorded mostly genuine works. | |

Combining deft, mid or slow-tempo beats, jazz and funk figures, sparse scratching, and even the odd randomized OST-rap, 3CUSPID bridge the gap between dusty B-side street sounds, hip-hop based on dialogs from old movies and Japan's new school of psychotropic beat scientists. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Margento | Margento is a crucible of arts, a reunion of poetry, painting and music whish stem out of each other, nurture, inspire each other. Although it was poet Chris Tanasescu who started this project, Margento is not just an illustration of or an accompaniment to his works (and days). Even if sometimes the poems, the paintings and the songs are conceived in solitude and sometimes they are brought forth on stage – they always communicate, like some capillary vessels. Without aiming at regaining any ideal or original unity of all arts, Margento is a lively intertwining, a windy crossroads of various ways of expression and mostly and foremost an open complete way of dwelling together in the same experience, a recovery and awakening of the self through the other. Unswerving dedication – and the en-stasy of meditation and illumination comes along with the ec-stasy of communion and of rhythmical conjunction. No theory or ideology are involved, except that of free vivid expression and of the alchemy of artistic identities. Margento is a single body with several souls who see the world through each other. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Frano Živković | Frano Živković | Frano is a fifteen year old award-winning musician who started showing his musical talent at the age of two and has been playing various instruments since the age of three. As a live-performance artist & multi-instrumentalist he plays violin, piano, and his greatest love – guitar. At age of five Frano held his first solo classical guitar concert at the Music Academy of Zagreb. Frano has won several international competitions in music theory and classical guitar. So far he has performed more than three hundred times at various events, concerts, festivals, TV shows and radio broadcasts, and organized and participated in charity projects. At age of eight he finished elementary & middle music school with excellent success and honors. He was probably the youngest in the world to perform Vivaldi’s Chamber Concerto in D-major RV93 at that age. Also, that was the time he performed first time with his greatest hero – Mr. Tommy Emmanuel, CGP. Their first joint performance occurred in the biggest Croatian national concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb (Croatia), after which they appeared in the concert hall Brucknerhaus in Linz (Austria), Teatro Rossetti in Trieste (Italy) and Philharmonie am Gasteig in Münich (Germany). Later they did many more shows together and Frano as special guest joined Mr. Emmanuel German tour 2016/2017. where they toured across Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg. At his 10th birthday, Frano had a huge honor to be a part of a guitar orchestra and play with the famous Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ: William Bill Kanengiser, John Dearman, Matthew Greif & Scott Tennant), performing Shingo Fujii’s “Shiki: Seasons of Japan”, in Nürtingen (Germany). At age of ten, Frano published his first release as a solo guitarist called “It’s a Secret”, featuring his original compositions. So far Frano already played with, toured or being opening act for international music super-stars such as 2Cellos, Al di Meola, Tommy Emmanuel, John Scofield, Kiefer Sutherland, Manfred Mann, Kaki King, Corrado Rustici & Zucchero, Canned Heat, Ten Years After, Mother’s Finest, Ian Paice and many more. As youngest member of national composer’s society, Frano won “Rudolf and Margita Matz” award for extraordinary talented young composers. One of the highest honors Frano received is original “Yellow Mouse” guitar given to him by Tommy Emmanuel CGP during Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, 2018. Year before Frano played Scotty Moore’s (Elvis Presley’s lead guitarist) guitar at the convention’s final evening concert. At age of fourteen, Frano was graduated from music high school – theoretical department, performed his original “Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra” with Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, and continues to develop as a composer and arranger while performing worldwide. |
