Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Michael Salmony | michael salmony | At the age of 15, Michael released his first single and within a year he released his second single, after which he had difficulty standing on stage and chose to stop his career as a performing artist and devoted himself to his apprenticeship. During the time he was a teenager and current as an artist, he traveled around and was part of a concert caravan where several of the artists of the time performed around Denmark. In Michael's family scrapbook, there are several clippings of him performing with release dates... as well as photos with the latest shots of the time. The most interesting thing is that he was photographed with Willy Norman, Bjørn Tidmand (Michael Salmony), Klaus Pagh, Ulla Darni and Lise Lotte Bendtsen in 1961 at the age of 15. During his short time as a performing artist, he actually gained a small fan base based in Mors, as can be seen from the scrapbook. Michael Salmony is ½ Faroese (mother) and ½ Danish (father) . from his life partner whom he married I received this .. After finishing his waiter's training he traveled to Germany for 1 year as a waiter. Then he went to London for a year in 1964 where he worked at the fine hotel Claridges and took piano lessons in his spare time. I met Michael in London in 1964, when I was with my friend who knew Michael. Our friends were au pair girls. When we came home to Denmark we became lovers and Michael wanted to study German and English. He started with high school, then high school and then university. He graduated with a cand mag in German and English, which he loved. He loved working with young people. When he couldn't get a permanent job because of the number of high school teachers, he settled on IT, which he spent many years doing in large companies, where he loved teaching. Michael spent all his spare time on music. Piano, guitar, clarinet, ukulele, yes everything. He worked until he was 69 years old. While he was studying at the University of Copenhagen, he taught German, English and guitar at night school. Music was his life. When Michael ended up in hospice, they had hired a music teacher. Michael and him became close and he was shocked by everything Michael knew about music, he played for Michael every day, so he heard music until the end. He enjoyed when our daughter and granddaughter played the piano at the hospice. Music can do so much. Michael died on 3.3.2018 |

| Search | Add | 4 | Алиса Апрелева | Татьяна Коломейцева | Alisa Apreleva is a Russian singer, composer, multiinstrumentalist, producer, and poet. Alisa Apreleva's music is rooted in a wide variety of genres: from authentic Eastern Slavic folklore to chamber to jazz to rock to film music. She uses voice and an array of acoustic instruments (cellos, harp, accordion, hang drum, piano, ethnic drums), along with looping and electronic processing, in her compositions, creating the style best described as "acoustic ambient". EthnoLoops, her most recent project, is a solo set for voice, cello and a loop station, where Eastern European and Native American traditional songs coexist with original compositions to create a universe full of joy and color. Soundscapes around EthnoLoops are build by Ishaan Chhabra, a sound architect from India. Alisa Apreleva's CD "Lucidus", including 11 compositions for voice, drums and three celli, was released in 2011. Finest musicians from Russia, United States, Mexico, India, Costa Rica were involved in production and presentation of the album, which was enthusiastically welcomed by critics, fans and musical connoisseurs in Russia, Europe, United States and Latin America. Alisa Apreleva started performing professionally early in her life as a classical singer and pianist. Since 2001, Alisa has acquired popularity as a singer-songwriter and a widely published poet. In 2003-2004 Alisa worked as an actress with “Tample” musical theater (Moscow, Russia). In 2003 Alisa graduated cum laude from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with Master’s Degree in Linguistics and Education and entered the post-graduate school. In 2004 Alisa moved to Seattle, USA. Since then she lives between two continents and writes songs in two languages. Starting from 2006, Alisa Apreleva is getting more and more popular around the globe as “the Russian singing cellist wonder”. In 2006-2008 Apreleva studied film scoring with Hummie Mann ("Robin Hood: Men in Tights", "Year of the Comet", "Dracula: Dead and Lovin It", "Language of the Heart", "Sleepless in Seattle, "Simpsons", "ALF"), within the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program. During 2010 - 2012 Alisa continued her music education as a scholarship recipient of Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA), majoring in Music Therapy studies. In 2010-2011 she also studied classical composition with Tibor Pusztai, composer and conductor from Hungary. Alisa Apreleva is featured on "Mi única llave" CD by José Mercé (2012, produced by Javier Limón), "Eastern Tapestries" by Christiane Karam (2012), and more. In 2018 (11 years later) the album “New Account 2” was released, the composition of which took more than six months. | Search | Add | 4 | Jagger Jack | Gael Huet | Jagger Jack has discovered the 'Thunderdome compilations' at the age of eleven. These early beginnings led him later to explore the world of Free Parties, mostly to see the Dj [a=Manu le Malin] playin'. He saw him at a 'Futuria', that felt just like a punch in the face. The urge to play his own music grew stronger until one day he scored his first set of decks. The will to play in public pushed him to participate in organising Free Parties around the french Alps. After a while he decided to organise legal parties where he could invite and sometimes play with djs of all styles and all origins. While other European countries can claim to support a vibrant electronic alternative culture the same can not be said of metropolitan France. With up to 5000 people gathering together the perception of local authorities toward "techno culture" and the resulting constraints are just killing it. As an activist for the industrial hardcore sound in France, Dj [a=Jagger Jack] created [l=Hardcore Deluxe Records], the label on which one he has already composed with [a=Pirate Mind] two Ep :"Share your agression part I " and "part II". Today influenced by "IST style", the Dutch gabber sound and the industrial sound generally, he deliver us powerful, melodious, structured hardcore, in the rather rare tones in France. Indeed far from the "frenchcore" and from the sound "tribe" in overproduction in our country, Jagger Jack proposes us a pleasantly surprising musical alternative with his compositions and mid-tempo mix. |

Lotfi and Waheb are both from the city of Annaba, in Algeria and the DJ of the group was Chergui Zine-eddine alias Zino. The consecration of the two rappers came through their lyrics which reflected the feelings buried deep in the minds of a marginalized youth. The group has released seven albums, Lotfi and Waheb being the songwriters, arrangers & performers of their own works. In 2000, the group did split (on good terms though, Waheb moved to France). | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Vesperland | Vesper Land, is a musical project in which Mikael Cointepas sets to music poems of the nineteenth century era. Around the guitar and the voice, emerges a sound that can evoke the light of the great outdoors as the urban darkness. Vesper Land is also a field of sound experimentation, throughout meetings with musicians from various musical genres. In 2018 is planned the release of the next album devoted to the poems of William Butler Yeats. Recorded alone, this slowly developed piece is the harvest of a long solitary work. It highlights some of the author’s poems in the final part of his career, taking an uncompromising look at life. « What can be explained is not poetry » W. B. Yeats | |
