Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026

Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 3 As For Now As For Now began with one guitar and one voice in May of 2002. And in July of that year, Jonathan Stanyard wrote and recorded his first effort, titled "We went to Alaska and froze to death...I Lost in the game of fate." After many comments by friends and strangers he began to write more songs. The first As For Now release was out on October 23rd, 2002 titled "I'll be a suicide King." Over the next few months he began to write with his brother Landon. In March of 2003, "The March Diaries EP" was released featuring Jonathan and Landon Stanyard. After difficulties of time and inspiration, Jonathan began to write on his own again. Which leaves everyone in suspense for his upcoming release "We Will Dream" EP. The music is inspired from all aspects of life: love, dreams, feelings, people, and memories of the past. With an acoustic guitar and a voice, Jonathan tries to express himself to listeners in a melodic and meaningful way. The acoustic rock is taken to another level and written so that all listeners can enjoy the music of As For Now. And if you have never seen a live performance it is well worth a first shot then make a decision.

Search Add 3 Кровь С Молоком The duet was born in 1998 in St. Petersburg, Russia. This is agressive polystilistic. Hypermix of styles plus minimalism is typical sound of the project. Struggling against the stereotypes in music KROVJ S MOLOKOM made a try to unify all basic trends in the contemporary electronic music. Ambient, dub, trip-hop, minimal techno and microwave get the shade of rite and mysticism. There is a special attitude to the nature of sound in the works of KROVJ S MOLOKOM. Structure of music has selforganizing forms here. The only album of the duet was released in 2000 (Fulldozer Records). The last gig of KROVJ S MOLOKOM took place in autumn 2002 at the festival LandSchaft-2 where the duet performed on the same stage with BAD SECTOR and TROUM.

Search Add 3 Sandy Asirvatham Baltimore, Maryland American pianist and writer Sandy Asirvatham—known artistically as Sandhya—is a writer, musician, and producer living in Baltimore, although forever a New Yorker at heart. Via obsessive study and practice, she willed herself into the role of working jazz pianist and singer. She produced a collection of originals called MEMOIR (2007)—mini-fictions set to eclectic jazz-pop grooves. Later she brought a quirky, ambitious personal dream to fruition: MOBTOWN MOON, a genre-defying, fully reimagined homage to Pink Floyd’s THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, co-produced by singer-songwriter Ellen Cherry and featuring over 50 Baltimore-based musicians in a crazy blend of styles. Sandy (as then called) began working closely with renowned vocal instructor and producer Pete Strobl in 2018, and completing INNOCENT MONSTER, 10 new original songs that map out a journey from contemplative jazz-influenced singer-songwriter to full-on art-rock diva. Sandhya will beginning releasing new singles from the project in late 2020, with the full album due out in spring 2021.

Search Add 3 Traetormentas In 2007, more precisely in the month of June, several experienced musicians from the Greater Buenos Aires (Monte Grande / Luis Guillon) joined forces to form the group named Traetormentas. Since then, they started to play their compositions alive, some of which would later were form part of their first demo. This one was record in the month of January of the following year (2008). With this card of presentation, the band started to become a name that appeared on several compilations and fanzines of its musical style. After several concerts, they arrived at 2009, when they released their second independent production, which named “Tormenta de Fuego “. The recording had 7 new compositions and the first demo as a bonus track. As they went through some lineup changes, they presented “Tormenta de Fuego” and even reached Elortondo city in the province of Santa Fe. In 2010 recording sessions began what would eventually was their first full length fully official. This one was called “Jaque Mate” and was published in 2011. Numerous shows throughout the length and breadth of the Argentine territory happened, especially in self-managed way. During this time they began to compose new songs and, in 2013, they entered in studio to craft their second album “Umbral” which has released again through Pulmonar Recordables early 2014. Again they support the whole issue with countless live performances. In these presentations the video clip of “Persiguiendo La Vida” was recorded. The countless shows continued and in 2019 a new LP comes to light with new own compositions with the name of “Memorias de Luz y Sombra”.

Search Add 3 Государственная Хоровая Капелла Марийской АССР The choir chapel was created in December 1933 by a young but famous composer [a=Алексей Искандаров], who had just graduated from the [l=Moscow Conservatory] and returned to Yoshkar-Ola. It included 24 professional performers of folk songs and works by Mari composers. In 1939, on the basis of the chapel, the "Song and Dance Ensemble of the Mari ASSR" was founded, which actually could be considered the closure, but not the termination of the choir's activities. Aleksey Iskandarovich remained the artistic director and chief conductor of the new group until December 1954, when it became difficult to act as the head of the group and at the same time chairman of the Union of Composers. After 40 years, in 1979, the Choir Chapel was re-established at the Margosphilarmonic Society, which included members of the choral group of the Song and Dance Ensemble. In 1994, the chapel was given the name of the first head, and it became known as the Mari State Chapel named after A. I. Iskandarov.

Search Add 3 Trevor Nygaard Bringing a highly technical performance to the table, Trevor Nygaard utilizes three or more decks alongside ‘live PA’ elements to deliver a fresh, unique take on the art of a DJ. While most traditional DJ’s are simply playing one track into another for the crowd, Trevor is delivering a constant transition with music taking its own form and natural progression. With over 12 years of experience and headlining events across the United States from Hawaii to Connecticut to his hometown of Denver, Trevor has broke in to the international scene with appearances in Guatemala, England and Norway. In the process, he has proven that he understands the universal language of music, and how to speak it. Trevor currently hosts a show on the world’s #1 online electronic music radio station, Digitally Imported. This is just one of his many musical outlets where his audience continues to grow and loyally support him. His music projects his impeccable taste and passion, making it heartfelt and personal for his audience. Further setting him apart is his warm persona and humble attitude that portray Trevor’s pure love for the music and desire to share that with others.
Search Add 3 Delizie Italiane Delizie Italiane The trio Delizie Italiane (Italian Delicacy) was formed in September 2000, fuelled by its members’ great interest in wine, cooking and southern culture. It took a little while for the trio to find their own sound, since they had no real template to refer to, but now they feel that they have mastered the true Delizie sound – where simplicity reigns supreme. When Delizie Italiane performs, they focus on creating a comfortable and easy going Italian mood, and it almost goes without saying that this particular kind of music flows especially well with food and drink. The trio has made three CD´s, “Passione“, “Delizie Italiane” and “La vita con te“. Leone Tinganelli : vocal and guitar Jón Elvar Hafsteinsson : guitar and vocal Jón Rafnsson : double bass and vocal

Search Add 3 Kindred Sol Sam Spiers Electronic sounds with a human touch... Kindred Sol is a project based equally on reflection and escapism, using the world around as inspiration, as well as the inner world of the imagination. In all likelihood, somewhere far out in outer space, there’s a sun similar to ours, orbited by a planet similar to ours. Over tens of thousands of years, perhaps this planet has also been moulded by humanoids - just like ours… If so, hopefully they’re doing a better job of respecting the planet and fellow lifeforms - including each other - than we are here. Kindred Sol is a project that reflects on our world and our condition (and conditioning). It is a project based on the idea that humans are capable of greatness, especially when working together, but also a project influenced by frustration at the position we find ourselves in, a position where it seems the future is rushing in at us much faster than we are moving forward to accept it. Part of what I am trying to achieve is music that either considers - or does its best to escape - the power of opposable thumbs (thumbs that can manipulate and exploit, create and destroy). Though the individual sounds are shaped from the pulse of electricity and the arrangement of 1s & 0s, the underlying tone is human in character - and the final output aims to be something as unique and as imperfect as each of us.

Search Add 3 Stephanie Brickey Saint Louis, Missouri Stephanie Brickey: vocals. acoustic guitar, national guitar. Dave Brickey: bass and backing vocals. Gary Hunt: electric guitars, mandolin, dobro. Jack Petracek: drums. Successfully mixing modern folk lyricism with straight-ahead pop/rock arrangements and an Americana sensibility, Stephanie Brickey has come up with a distinct sound of her own. She calls on her diverse musical influences to embellish the traditional folk song and to keep the crowd moving with timeless, stand-out rock performances. Brickey has the ability to grind out a crowd-pleasing, high-octane rocker and then follow it with an irresistible lullaby so hauntingly beautiful it may leave you in tears. Brickey’s vocals complement the songs in a way that seems to accentuate the instrumental accompaniment rather than overshadow it, with a voice that’s somewhere between Margo Timmins and Linda Thompson. Brickey has been highly visible on the St. Louis music scene for some time performing as solo artist, as a member of SLIM (along with Lynn Reif and Mary Alice Wood) and as the frontperson for A Room Away. Stephanie Brickey’s sound is infectious and unique. Her songs are timeless, smart and alluring.

He self-produced a demo with atmospheric death metal / hardcore songs featuring local Chicago/Milwaukee musicians. PsychoBliss became a duo after Dan Stollings' wife, Kyla Pavelski, joined as a full time vocalist in 2012. In this formula they recorded and self-produced the "Dreams Of Dystopia" EP which also marked a change in the musical style, now gothic / atmospheric dark metal with some black metal elements. At the end of 2013 Ryan Neeland joined as bass player, then Ian Durand on guitars, followed by Michael Mistretta as drummer in January 2014. In February 2014 the band changed its name to [a4146084].
