Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | The Fall, The Rise | The Fall, The Rise are 4 friends from Birmingham. They also played rock music. Together they peddled their tuneful, hard- edged wares for over 5 years (2007-2012). The bands goal was a simple one: Write music they enjoy playing. This invariably lead to songs dealing in quiet/loud dynamics, powerhouse drumming, fluid basslines, intricate guitar work and lyrics dealing with the human condition

Search | Add | 2 | The Afternoon Round | The Afternoon Round was an indie rock/country band from Ypsilanti, Michigan that was formed in 2009 and disbanded in 2011. The line-up consisted of Tim Clairmont (lead vocals, songwriter, guitar, harmonica), Rick Coughlin (guitar, lap steel, backing vocals), Ian Gleespan (bass, backing vocals), Martin Maginity (drums, percussion) and Zack Henderson (pedal steel, guitar). They released one album, Princess Of A One Horse Town in 2009 and one extended play, Pleased As Punch in 2011. Henderson had already left the band by the time Pleased As Punch EP was released. From archived Myspace profile: "The Afternoon Round is a rock band. We make original music with guitars, drums, bass, and vocal chords with the conviction that "pop" is not a dirty word and that a hook doesn't make you a sell-out. We want you to not only hear our songs, but remember them. That's why we have lovingly crafted each of our songs using only the choicest ingredients. We start out with fresh emotions translated into words and transferred onto recycled notebook paper. Next, we take refurbished chord progressions salvaged from Pop scrapyards from the past and future and transform them into shiny verses, glowing bridges, and blinding choruses. Finally, using new (and entirely organic), ideas culled straight from our frontal lobes we add the licks, harmonies, beats, and melodies to satisfy your discerning auditory cortex. We hope you enjoy."

Search | Add | 2 | The Holy Ghostriders | In case you don't know, punk is not dead. Listening to the mall pop shit you hear on the radio or TV isn't punk, not even close. I am pretty sure that is pop, or poop if you will. The Holy Ghostriders make genuine rock that will make the godfathers of punk proud; music with feeling and emotion. You can almost hear the blood coming out of their amps. Those aren't vocals you hear, it is sweat, amplified through a mic. Those aren't drums, that is the sound of hard work and slaving away in your personal jail - time spent in captivity - all so you can go out and get fucked up to forget the shitty life you lead. Punk like The Holy Ghostriders is pure, heartfelt and tough as nails, something with some balls. Fast Track Heart Attack is the blazing debut album from Minneapolis's The Holy Ghostriders. It is an action packed, alcohol-fueled slab of punk rock. Sing along anthems and fist pumping jams will keep this record in your rotation for quite some time, or until you pass out. The band comes from the ashes of two of the Twin Cities best hard-core acts, Holding On and Martyr AD. The passion and fury from the boy's previous ventures is very apparent on Fast Track Heart Attack. This time around, it is more of a party, adding a pop flair to their hard-core roots. Combining speed with hot guitar licks, and sing along opportunities, the Ghostriders keep the sweat pouring throughout the twelve cuts on Fast Track Heart Attack.

Died: 05 January 2006 American rhythm 'n blues guitarist, best known as founder of "Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band", in which he changed his stage name to Alex St. Clair. (Following an obscure set of credit errors on [r638859], his stage name then continued to be mis-credited from 1971 with the 'Snouffer' appendage he had intentionally dropped.) Snouffer later worked with Denny King, recording the "Evil Wind Blowin'" album along with ex-bandmate [a530617] and Exiles' drummer Greg Hampton. Snouffer departed [a816783] in early 1968 when their finances were at an all-time low. He supported his wife Jane and new baby by becoming a truck-driver. In later life he had increasing problems with alcohol addiction, passing through a number of jobs & rehab, before returning to Lancaster. He was found dead in his apartment in January 2006. |

Search | Add | 2 | Anne-Marie Williot | Anne-Marie Williot is a trilingual multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter hailing from rural Quebec, and now based in Winnipeg. Her song-writing brings to light hidden dream territories which murmur in the subterranean wells of our lives. A honed poet and performer, she writes and sings in a deliciously melodic blend of old and new sounds, often evocative of candle-lit cafes. Anne-Marie has been performing since the age of four, a journey that has taken her from singing solos in choir to the recent release of her 2020 album: Cheval Géant. She has toured Canada from coast to coast and while the world is on hiatus, has filled the sidewalks of her neighbourhood with her music. Previously, Anne-Marie Williot was the songwriter, vocalist, guitarist/accordionist/flautist of Chez Willi.
