Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Ellen Valley Band | Started by Gwyn Thomas in 1975, the group all met at music sessions at the Sun Inn, in the north Cumbrian, UK, village of Ireby. Most of the group were also involved in morris, sword and clog dancing with the Carlisle team. The first Ellen Valley band gig was spring 1976, for Carlisle Climbing Club. Their monthly Ireby ceilidhs in the village hall, The Globe Hall, which they organised themselves (other gigs were bookings from other people of course) became legendary in North Cumbria, with people travelling from all over the county to them - and sometimes much further afield, especially for the fancy dress Christmas ceilidhs. The line-up changed over time, gradually coalescing into personnel on the first album, and after Paul and Louise Witty divorced and moved they lost them, but gained other members - including, Davey Potts from Warrington on guitar and keyboard and local singer and guitarist Eric Hope on guitar. After finally losing Gwyn when he moved away (mid-late 1980s?) they gained a musician Frank Lee playing melodeon and banjo. The band played for some 22 years - to 1997/1998 - but did occasional reunion ceilidhs for a number of years after that, most notable of which was 2005 Ireby Christmas ceilidh - a sell-out event to which came lots of former Ireby ceilidh regulars (some of whom had first attended as young children!). The Second album ’Through the World Spinning’ was notable for including some Lakeland and Cumbrian tunes which [a6466420] researched from old fiddlers’ manuscript tune books. Very few people were doing music of the area at that time. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Heage Band | Brass band. based in Nether Heage, mid-Derbyshire, United Kingdom. Heage Band began providing musical entertainment for the people of the local area way back in 1916. The band was formed with the intention of not only making music but creating a social group open to everyone regardless of age or ability who shared the brass band ‘bug’. Times may have changed from those early days of the Great War and King George V but their vision has certainly not. Thanks to years of hard work the band rehearses in its own practice hall, owns a comprehensive set of instruments and is gifted with a library of around 3000 pieces of music, providing a repertoire to suit any occasion. The versatility of the band is second to none with public performances including weddings, garden parties, and traditional park concerts, not forgetting high profile appearances at Pride Park and Derby University Graduation days. | |

The classic early lineup was completed by [a=J. Edward Nuttall], the first in a string of bass players. When drummer Palmer left in 1991, then-bassist [a=Andrew Clare] took on the additional task of writing drum programmes for the band. With second guitarist [a=Mike Shreeve] on board for the last phase of their career, Nitro Puppy achieved a punchier, more accomplished sound, arguably at the expense of their early erratic charm. The band split sometime in the early 1990s.

Their debut album 'Annunaki' was released on Black Widow Records in 2017, consisting of unusual spaced-out material over the course of more than 100 minutes playing time. This is art influencing art influencing art, namely Hawkwind’s influence on Acid Mother’s Temple then influencing Chromium Hawk Machine, forming the new Space Rock music for the intrepid listener. The band reinvent a sound mass of sax, synths, guitar, bass, drums, and some processed voices without form, add some rhythmic chanting and a motorik beat emerges from this sonic sound and of course sax noodling on force.

| Search | Add | 3 | Os Nazaritos | Os Nazaritos, formerly called Os Nazarenos is a Brazilian Christian rock band. The band was formed by Gustavo Legal in 1998 in Itaguaí, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Mixing rhythms such as ska, rock, country music and reggae, Nazaritos create a kind of comical rock in the evangelical scene. With the support of Ronaldo Barros, father of singer Aline Barros, the band signed with AB Records and released their first CD in 1999, making it a huge success in Gospel. With the band's departure from AB Records to the Top Gospel label, the members changed the group's name to Os Nazaritos. In 2001, he performed at Rock in Rio III at Tenda Brasil together with Los Hermanos, Ls Jack among others. It was considered, by Roberto Medina himself (Creator of Rock in Rio), that the Band's presentation would be on Palco Mundo before the Iron Maiden Band's presentation. But the band thought it would be better to perform on Teen day at Tenda Brasil as they would have more time to perform. After long years of hiatus, the group returned to activities in 2016, for a commemorative tour, and released, in 2017, the EP O Emergente. In February 2022, Banda leader Gustavo Legal announced the Band's return to the stage. Despite the similarities with Mamonas Assassinas, the band states that their main influences were the singer Falcão and the band Blitz, and that the association with Mamonas was marketing for the record label AB Records. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Caxton Street Jazz Band | The Caxton Street Jazz Band in a jazz band from Brisbane, Australia. It was founded in Brisbane's inner west in 1977 and is today recognised both locally and internationally as one of Australia’s leading jazz bands. Now in its 40th year, the band presents hot, swinging jazz in a manner that elicits enthusiastic responses from listening and dancing audiences alike. Members of the band include some of Australia’s leading jazz players in their idiom, as well as two instrumentalists who are also vocalists. The band’s name derives from the location of its first venue, the Baroona Hall in Caxton St, Brisbane. The band rose to prominence in the ‘80s through its long running stint at the famous “Jazz ‘N Jug” sessions at Brisbane’s Caxton Hotel, as well as numerous appearances in this period at Australian Jazz Conventions and other Festivals. The band rose to prominence in the 80s thanks to its 11 year stint at the Jazz ‘n Jug sessions at the Caxton Hotel. These commenced in March ’81 and continued every Saturday until 1992 when the band split, although Bob Mair (drums) and Bernice Haydock (piano) took over the band name from that time. The band’s premier years in the 80s were probably 1981-4, when it became well-rehearsed, and popular with its repertoire of a blend of serious jazz and novelty numbers (the band played a total of 183 gigs in the year July 1981 to June 1982!). In the mid-80s, some of the longer term members left and were replaced by others who in turn moved on after a few years. The band then enjoyed stability in its lineup into the early 90s, but then a variety of players were used to make up the numbers into 1992. Naturally enough the personnel has changed a number of times over the years, although five of the current 6 members have been together since 2001. This recent continuity of players has contributed to the band’s reputation for being “tight and hot”. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | BeyonDévon | Over the years and in throughout the bands many logos the band has stylized their name as BeyonDévon, Beyon Dévon, and Beyon Devon. The most common variation (used on the "A Step Beyon" demo, their 1991 T-shirts, and multiple band logos) is the one-word version, BeyonDévon. Formed in 1988, originally as a cover band. But by early 1989 they had begun writing their own original songs, the first being "Endless Journey" and "Tripsis". Soon after this though, they split with drummer Keith Porter, singer Brian Miller, and guitarist John Stafford. After this they assembled a new lineup and dropped all cover songs, going all-original. The new lineup, fronted by former-Breaker/Blue Steel/Emperor singer Steve Russell, broke out into the Cleveland Metal scene with constant live shows, quickly expanding on the already sizeable following built by the early lineup. They played frequently with Autumn's Ruin, Lanz End, Andromeda, Medalyon, Mercury, Vatican, New Régime, Bison, Donatello and many more. They also played with numerous national acts such as Vicious Rumors, Manowar, Blue Oyster Cult, The Godz, and more. During this time they released their debut demo, "A Step Beyon", in 1990 which has since become extremely rare. Soon after the release of the demo, however, they began to take their music in a much more Progressive direction, citing influences such as "No Exit" era Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, early Queensrÿche, etc. They independently recorded 5 of these new songs on 8-tracks, creating a second demo, and planning to record these, in addition to two others in studio to record their debut album, whose title had not been decided yet. The album would have included the 5 demo songs, "Never the Same", "Live to Die" "Revelations", "Way of the World", "Edens Fall" and others, as well as "One Way Love" and "Angel". While in the studio in 1991, however, BeyonDévon disbanded and the album was never completed, the songs that were finished remain unreleased. Steve Russell and Christopher Michael went on to co-found the Scorpions tribute band Lovedrive in 1991, which Russell recently re-activated, while Steve went on to Theater of Madness and Chris rejoined Keith Porter in Shadowplay. Brian Miller went on to sing for Amon-Ra and Prodigy. Chris later rejoined John Stafford in Twist of Fate. Dave and Rick Rasicci, Brian Berisford, and John Stafford would also go onto play in Moments of Brilliance, before and David and John continued together in the multi-genre-spanning Groove/Nu-metal/Hard Rock/Alternative/Grunge band Thirteen in the 2000s. | |
