Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Crawl "420" | The hardcore metal rock group Crawl "420" got its start in Anaheim, CA, in 1995. Dan Miller stepped in as singer, Chris Dorame covered bass, Zach Vodola provided the guitar work, and Jarred Pacheco offered pounding rhythm with his drums. Wild shows in and around California helped the young band build a following almost overnight. The same year of its formation, the foursome put together a debut offering for its fans, Fist to Face. Crawl "420" delivers extreme heavy rock seasoned with leftover thrash, the kind of stuff that invites the use of a mosh pit; this is music that isn't for those faint of heart, or those with sensitive sensibilities. In 1997, a sophomore release, Crawl "420" Green, hit the market. It was followed in 1999 by the album Severe and then in 2000 by Killmercial. Some of the tracks heavy metal fans can sample from these recordings are "Unforgiven," "Slime," "Head in Only," "Fucko," "Beer," "Frump," "Last Mistake," "Erase," and "Greed." Over the years the band has opened for groups including DRI 2x, Exodus, Flotsam, Man-O-War, Obituary, Sacred Reich, SOD, and Testament. In early 2001, the band went through a couple of major changes. Probably the biggest one was a change in the lineup. Guitarist Zach Vodola called it quits with the group and went out on his own. Guitarist Joe Young, who had been a onetime member of the group Comatose, replaced Vodola. The next big change was the name of the band. The members decided to do away with the "420" ending and just become known as Crawl. Crawl never went beyond the name change and later disbanded in Late 2001. In 2023, Crawl 420 reunited. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | HUMANITIES | Toronto art-damaged hardcore. Exploring some of the strange terrain in this world of techno-alienation, HUMANITIES' debut EP focuses on our all too familiar, yet strange relationships with things like social media and communicative labour, and our dependence on various technologies and institutions in sharing our experiences with others in the world. The imagery and themes are related to our collective efforts — and failures — at communication and community. It opens with the driving post-hardcore sound of “Century of the Selfie,” a bitter meditation on the false promises of social media and connectivity, and then moves through the claustrophobia of “Come Outside” formed from varying strands of punk and hardcore. The dystopic visions of work and leisure in “Belly Full of Fear” combine with noisy, dense guitars that shine with a dissonant melody. The EP concludes with the somewhat more optimistic, yet crushing dirge rock of “Your Dreams are My Dreams,” a song that finds a certain communicative and creative possibility in that apparently most solitary, and unproductive, activity: dreaming. Through dreams we find a shared energy that runs deeply into the individual, seeping into it and pushing out beyond it, into others and to the world. | Search | Add | 3 | A. F. Thaviu | Tevye Feiman | American conductor (1876-1945) based in Chicago. Alexander Francis Thaviu was director of an early 20th century concert band that was described as “International” or a “world famed Russian band.” Indeed, many of his recordings from the late 1910s were marketed to Czech, Italian, Polish, and Swedish audiences, but others were military marches and patriotic (American) tunes. “Thaviu” was born Tevye Feiman to Abraham and Rachel Feiman in Zvenigorodka, a town south of Kiev, Ukraine in 1876. The family, which included six children, emigrated to the United States around 1890, and by the 1900s had settled in Canton, OH. Within a few years, Thaviu, a cornet player, found himself in Chicago leading a popular band and “company of Russian singers and dancers,” and became prominent on the Chautauqua Circuit, a kind of ‘adult education’ alternative to vaudeville, popular in the first half of the 20th century. At the time, a newspaper described Thaviu as “that little bundle of nerves, energy and genius.” His son, Samuel Thaviu, was born in Chicago, and became an acclaimed violinist, concert master and music professor at Northwestern University. In the early 1920s, the family returned to Canton for a few years, where Samuel passed his early high school years, and a newspaper referred to Tevye as “Prof. Thaviu Feiman.” Samuel eventually became concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony, and in November of 1945, A. F. Thaviu passed away while visiting his son there. Thaviu and his wife, Ida, are buried in Canton. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ryan DeMers | Southeast Michigan 19-year-old live and studio guitarist/singer-songwriter splitting his time between Nashville and Metro Detroit. Ryan DeMers grew up in Southeast Michigan with an itch for music. Obsessed with playing all types of guitars, Ryan spent much of his teen years apprenticing with musicians from such locally renowned bands as The Infatuations, Jiva, and the Wells. The focus of heavy fuzz tones and endless sustain also led him to the 80’s rock world, where he listened to and learned from bands such as Van Halen, The Outfield, Guns N Roses, and Pink Floyd. When his sound grew too big for his basement, Ryan took his show on the road, performing as a solo artist; as lead vocalist and guitarist for local band The Monsoons (which, coincidentally, also practiced in his basement); and as a touring guitarist with another artist. He played everything from local hot spots, to house shows and private events, to music festivals such as Electric Forest and LaureLive. During this time, Ryan began to form the guitar playing and vocal styling you hear from him today. He also discovered the arts of songwriting and producing - and a more commercialized sound - with influences from people such as Tyler Bryant and the Shakedowns, Shawn Mendes, Theo Katzman, and John Mayer. Ryan’s music fascination led him from Detroit to Nashville, where he is currently a sophomore music business major/guitar minor at Belmont University. Constantly searching for new musical influences, he has recently discovered the likes of Kacey Musgraves, Ben Rector, the Eagles, and Lori McKenna. You could say he is shaping into a musician truly not defined by a specific genre. When not studying, Ryan plays shows around town, and continues to write the sounds and words he hears in his head constantly. | |
