Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Plan B Pursuit | Plan B Pursuit began in Boerne, Texas where two young, lazy restaurant workers (Tim and Jake) met in 2003. After their separate bands (Scamper, Forever Glass) broke up, the young punks began to practice each other's songs in parking lots. After a few months, the practice sessions turned into shows at apartments and street corners. In May of 2005, the duo recorded their first full length (And All I Got Was This Lousy...) with Jake on guitar and Tim on bass and drums, while the two shared vocal and writing duties. The album was released with an overtly positive reception. In June of 2005, the band received an email from Smokey (Filthy & the Muff Divers) applying for the job of percussionist for the band. After the lineup was completed, Plan B Pursuit began playing shows around Texas and building a fan base worldwide. In 2006, the trio began writing and demoing songs for their sophomore release. After playing with bands like The Toasters, No Use For a Name, Whole Wheat Bread, and Cobra Skulls, the band began recording their second full length (Under Your Hat) in December 2006. After a long and frustrating production process, the album is due to be released in stores in July 2008, along with a West coast tour of the United States. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Evoletah | Matt Cahill is an Australian singer/songwriter & composer. As a graduate of the Ryzard Pusz School of Percussion he has been actively involved with bands since the early eighties, although most notably in his 13 year tenure as 'Vocalist/Guitarist' with the multi award winning Australian band 'The Violets'. Disillusioned with the traditional 'band' format, he eventually formed EVOLETAH, not so much as a band but as a 'musical project' to record songs written for The Violets that had never been recorded. Having 'Cherry Picked' members, this resulted in the projects initial offering 'Fool's Errand'. | |

Some influences: Can, Eno, Eric Satie, Gong, Hawkwind, Jade Warrior, King Crimson, Kraftwerk, Mike Oldfield, Philip Glass, Tangerine Dream, musique concrète, 20th Century atonal classical music and sampling (not necessarily in that order). We might remind you of (tongue in cheek): Can meets Jade Warrior and Tangerine Dream in a bar for a few beers while listening to Harold Budd, Ozric Tentacles and William Orbit. Then they head off to an after-hours club to drink single malt whisky while Steve Tibbetts and Steve Roach fire-up odd percussion and old-school electronics for a jam with Hawkwind and King Crimson refugees.

| Search | Add | 3 | The Dead Puppies | The Dead Puppies were formed in February of 1985 with Tommie Gunz (Thom Ryerson) and Leroy Deadboy (Joe Maagdenberg) in the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Both Tom and Joe were first year students in Confederation College's film production course. Tom was originally from London, ON, and Joe from Hamilton, ON. They began as a punk country outfit, and cut a 12 minute tape consisting of 8 original tunes. A week later Trash (Joe Lafontaine) was added to the line-up and they cut another tape, live off the floor. This time out they were a little more serious and added an edge to the songs and lost the country flavor. 'The First Cut' was issued in March 1985 with 10 more original tracks. Summer break came and the band was on hiatus until the fall. Trash was replaced by Harry P. Ness (Harry Smith) who in turn was replaced with Craig Moorhouse, another film arts student. On February 4th 1986, which was also the 106th anniversary of the Donnelly Massacre, Tom, Joe and Craig convened in the film production supply room, and set up a studio. Using nothing but a 175 Watt Peavey Tube Amplifier, two Nagra IV-S Reel to Reel recorders, a Sennheiser and a Shure microphone, and a pile of patch cords and custom made tape loops, the three art students recorded two reels worth of 'music.' It was like nothing they had made before, and the recording of the track, 'Persuasion' was video-taped. (It's a video up at YouTube, check it out!) The session went for about four hours. The tapes were labelled Volume 1, and Volume 2, and then sat on a shelf for the next seven years. The boys graduated college and went on their ways. Tom settled in Cambridge, Joe in Toronto, and Craig in London. In February of 1993 Tom and his musical current partner, Stan V. Antone, took the 1986 recording session off the shelf, as as Tom had just bought a reel to reel, and they transferred the music to cassette, editing it into a 45 minute project called 'Pathological Profile.' The tape was released in April 1993, and quickly got airplay at CHRW in London, and a review in the National Campus Magazine 'Chart.' In January of 1994 Tom put together a box set of all the Dead Puppy recordings, plus three new songs that had been written in 1985, but not performed until December 1993 with Thom on vocals, Stan on guitar, Mike Vandecamp on drums, and Jeff Harris on drums. The box set contained a book with lyrics to all 29 songs, all the tracks from "E.P.", "The First Cut," and "Pathological Profile." We move ahead to when "Pathological Profile" was re-issued on cassette in April of 2005 and promoted again, to little interest. We then entered the CD age, and Tom and Stan re-edited the 1986 recordings, re-titled them, and rose again like the phoenix as Cholera. The CD was issued on June 7th 2008 under the new title of 'Sky Skraping.' We now move from the CD age to the digital age, and Tom and Stan figured it was time to get this music out across the internet via CD Baby and i-Tunes. Here we are, exactly thirty-two years to the date, and now the 138th anniversary of the Donnelly Massacre, which occurred near Lucan, Ontario. Tom and Stan believe they received positive energy from the Donnelly spirits. Tom & Stan count these following bands as their major influence; Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, Coil, The Kronos Quartet, J.O.M.F., Glen Branca, John Cage, Philip Glass, Liabach, Diamanda Galas, and John Zorn. Thank you all! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dan Grain | Danny de Graan | Although Danny de Graan (AKA Dan Grain) worked and still works in the contemporary art music scene as a composer, his career started in the early 90's in the dance scene. As one of the producers of the group Cyberlab, he released several EP's and performed in the Netherlands and Germany, sharing the stage with artists like Yves de Ruiter, Sven Vath and Paul van Dyk e.a.. Music studies at the University of Amsterdam and Portsmouth England and later at the Rotterdam Conservatory, kept him from pursuing a career in the dance scene. Yet, he retained a strong feeling of connection to the music, especially to groovy, atmospheric, dark and melodic techno and house. Working as a contemporary art music composer he has written many compositions for all kinds of settings ranging from small and large ensembles, vocalists, (microtonal) organ, harpsichord, pan flute and much more. Recent work consists of a mini opera about Facebook and a composition for feedback only controlled by 4 players and a computer. In 2003, Danny de Graan remixed the classic "O Superman" by Lauri Anderson for the infamous record label Staalplaat. That was the impulse that reignited his interest in dance music. In 2008, he made a demo which received great responses from Dave Clark, among others, and motivated him to start producing again. Danny draws his inspiration from many genres, ranging from Dance, Jazz, Folk, Rock, Pop and Classical music. His solo debut was on Eevonext records with his track The Run. His first EP Happy Accidents will be released beginning 2012. Since 2011 Dan Grain started the producers duo DAN9ER together with Gerard Snippe (AKA 9ER). Their debut is on aDepth Audio with the sampler Emerging Elements (limited edition coloured vinyl) |

The church and the Toronto Blessing affected many other renewal/revival movements and ministries around the world, including the greater Association of Vineyard Churches and most notably the Brownsville Revival at [l1675372]. | Search | Add | 3 | George Kamel | Nashville-based, Boston-bred artist George Kamel is no stranger to the world of songwriting. He released two albums in the past five years, one as part of Boston-based folk outfit “Meadowlarks” and another under the pseudonym, Lapsley. But a three-year stint in the city of Mobile, Alabama would force Kamel to reevaluate his identity as a songwriter. "You grow up real fast when you move 1,500 miles away from home to a place you're not familiar with and people you don't know...you're out of your element and things kinda hit you differently..." said Kamel. After countless open-mics and coffee shop shows, Kamel met an emerging producer named Matt Baker and decided to bring his songs to life in the studio with his latest release, The Great Coward. Kamel believes that The Great Coward represents a significant season of personal growth. "I think the songs come from this place of wanting to escape the cynicism that I've been in for so many years now" he said. "It's not necessarily that I've figured it all out-or that I have all the answers-but I've found the path that I want to go and it's time for me to grow up and pursue that." Drawing influences from Bon Iver, Avett Brothers and David Bazan, Kamel effectively unites the ethereal and earthly using an impressive array of folk instrumentation, while guiding the listener through haunting seasons of beauty and pain.

| Search | Add | 3 | The Advent Messengers | Garland's father was born into a family of music with his mother being the choir leader of their home church in the beatuiful country side of Toco, Trinidad. Garland's mother, also had parents who were involved in church activites in fact her dad was the church's First Elder! After spending 17 odd years in "showbizness" Garland's father found himself in a vision, which awoke him to sobriety - One which made him a formidable "fire-starter" in Caribbean Christianity. The Advent Messengers was born! And with it came the act of "drum-playing" in church, and a style of music that meant a whole lot more than a "Praise & Worship" session. From his father, Garland learned the skill of "Cullinary Verbage" as it were... "...you tell your own story and people listen to you - because everyone always wants to know your business!!!" Headley reminices his father saying... "My dad had very few 'Strong' intuitions... this was definitely one of them!" The epiphany of success is usually deemed as sometimes... well....relative. With Garland, anywhere he goes he sees the result of his music touching poeple's lives... Daily! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Acero Negro | Acero Negro is considered the most iconic hard rock and 80's heavy metal style band from Lleida, settled in the western province of Catalonia, in Spain, since their early origins in 1986 until their last gig in November 2015. They were formed in the middle of 1985 after the guitar player Alberto Monsonís "Berto" left the band Lev3 to found the seminal Tealakian with Tomás Carmona (drums) and Agustín "Angus" Lara (bass). Soon, the singer Juan Yeste joined the band, also playing guitar and later on bass as soon as Lara left the already renamed Acero Negro. They become a quartet with quite a good projection around Catalonia and Aragon throughout their concerts around, until in 1992 they released their first demo "Acero Negro" with Diego Pelegrí (guitar) and Xaba Badía (drums). After some hiatus and lineup changes (Ramón Ramos, Oriol Cornet, Juan León, Carlos Capilla) in 2003 Acero Negro reunited as a quintet (with a new bass player, Josep Mª Lasierra "Lasi") and two years later they released their first studio album "20 Años y Muchas Noches Más", winning first prize in the Pepe Marín Rock contest and taking part in the national festival Senglar Rock 2005 edition. As opening band for other important groups such as Sepultura, Saxon, Gama Ray , Barón Rojo, Los Suaves, Soziedad Alkoholika or Su Ta Gar, Acero Negro have gained respect and consideration from other new and settled bands from Lleida. Their last record "Mi Motor" released in 2014 became also their final farewell when soon after a concert in Sala Oh Yeah they disbanded, with Yeste becoming a professional photographer full time, Lasi involving with the Mister Jones and Pelegrí leaving apart from music. Eventually, Montsonís joined the metal band Blindpoint. | |
