Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Alessandro Fais | ALESSANDRO FAIS (Singer of Sardinian popular music) (Cantante della musica folkloristica sarda). Born in 1936, in Sindia, until a few years ago he was rightly considered one of the protagonist of "Canto a chitarra" (song of Sardinian folklore with guitar). Equipped with a decidedly expressive voice and with a strong charge of sympathy, Fais imposed itself long to win L'Usignolo della Sardegna, the highest singing competition organized every year in Ozieri. His melodious voice, brilliant and of great communicative capacity, made sure that the public gave him a broad consensus. In particular, Fais distinguished himself in the execution of the mutos de amore, but above all with his Ballu de Sindia, in a cheerful and lively interpretation, such as to deeply involve his listeners. It was also his personality, full of deep and sincere humanity, that made him appreciable and amiable to the general public. In 2005 he was awarded an important career award by the ACLI of Sardinia. Many recordings were made together with other cantadores, such as "Sa gara", in the company of cantadores Serafino Murru and Francesco Cubeddu, guitarist Antonio Marongiu and accordionist Pietro Madau. He obtained the Licentiate of the Royal School of Music for piano performing when he was 18. In the ensuing years, he lived in the UK and USA to pursue further studies in Engineering under various scholarships, all the time continuing his music education through reading and listening to a wide repertory of music. In his time at Stanford University, he took up music composition lessons under Leland Smith. One of his many compositions during this creative and productive period was called 'Four Songs from Romantic Poets', which won him first prize at the Paul and Jean Hanna Music Competition in 1984. After his return to Singapore, he continued to pursue his interest in music despite his career in Engineering and later, in a pioneer Internet company in Singapore. Besides writing several works for orchestra, he worked on several pieces employing microtonal tunings for synthesizers and computer. He was one of the first Singapore compoers to explore computer-generated sounds and music using KYMA and other systems. A few of Tsao Chieh's experimental test pieces were eventually recorded. Plans were in place to write an opera based on the legend of Bukit Merah when Tsao Chieh was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away in 1996 and is survived by his wife. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Legend Revisited | LEGEND (18) was a classic 70s proggy metal band that released one album, "From The Fjords". Original member Ray Frigon set out to reform the band, but guitar player Kevin Nugent is sadly no longer with us. Legend was asked to play in Europe and contacted Janne Stark about handling the guitar. Unfortunately Janne was busy with Overdrive and Falling Hazard at the time and had to turn the offer down. Instead his friend Martin J Andersen (Blindstone, Walter Trout etc) came in on guitar. The gigs however never happened because of Covid. Ray had become a born again Christian and wanted to re-record some of the old material with new lyrics as LEGEND REVISITED, featuring Martin on guitar. The bass spot was free as original bass player Fred Melillo was not in the picture. Instead the spot was filled by Janne Stark. In 2023 they started recording the album that was entitled "From The Lord". In June 2024 the album saw the light of day | |

Lead Vocals of [a=Maria T-Ta Y El Empujón Brutal] and founded [a=Concha Acústica], considered the 1st Peruvian Underground Rock Band formed by female members. Published in the fanzine "Punto de Placer" (1986). Her mysterious departure from Peru (1991) contributed to the construction of a myth about her as she did not maintain contact with her underground friends and was not heard from again until 2014 when the information about her death was made public because of pancreatic cancer. Her style, although keeping great distances, was compared to that of German Punk [a=Nina Hagen]. She was one of the few women who assumed a leadership position within a Peruvian Rock Scene dominated mostly by men. Nonetheless, became the central target of misogyny within that scene with testimonials of verbal and physical abuse received by male rockers. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Bryon Adamson-Woods | Bryon Adamson | Bryon Adamson is a Scots-born multi-instrumentalist and artist, raised in the New Forest on the South coast of England. He played bass on all of the Restoration II material, additionally playing bass, keyboards and additional guitar on Revolution By Night's only full length release 1995's album "Breathe". He also played guitar, bass and piano on the band's cover version "Kingdom Come" which was released on the "Forevermore - A Tribute to The Mission" album in Germany. He co-composed every original Revolution By Night track, including the track "Selling Heaven" which was released on the "Dreams In The Witch House" compilation CD. When Revolution By Night progressed to a future-pop / electro / synth-pop format in 2000, he wrote mainly on keyboards and played keys live. In early live shows, he additionally played guitar, and for the band's live show at Leipzig's WGT (2000) he played entirely on guitar. Around the time of the release of the "Faithless" EP in 2003, Adamson dropped the double-barrelled surname. The band "rebranded" simply as "RBN" in 2006, and released the self-produced "Machine Code EP" in time for their UK tour with Swedish scene giants Covenant and Norway's Pride And Fall. Adamson also contributed co-lead vocals to RBN's remix of Straftanz's eponymous track, aptly named "Straftanz UK (featuring RBN)", which although not released officially, was made available on Straftaz's MySpace page and was performed live by RBN several times. It was also performed by both bands together twice in London. Adamson also did much of the work on remixes for other bands such System:FX, Reaper and Nachtmahr, credited as RBN. The exception to this was RBN's remix for Komor Kommando, on which he had no part and states that he was only aware of the project after it was completed. Adamson produced all the graphic material and logo design for all forms of the band up to, but not including, the official of the full-length album, "City Lights", which was released under the name of Stok:holm. In the months prior to the release of this album, the band and management took the decision to rename the band (in light of the more searchable Rock Band Network and advice from several European DJs in the scene). The decision was then taken to scrap Adamson's artwork and use different designers for the release artwork, which Adamson felt further increased problems with certain band personnel recognising his creative and organisational input to the band. Further, with the only live RBN date of 2011 having been performed after a single rehearsal, Adamson insisted that the only live date of 2013 for Stok:holm be cancelled, considering the band insufficiently prepared. However, with the band no longer on the bill, Stok:holm vocalist and DJ Steve Weeks kept the support slot and played a clearly pre-prepared electro-hard tech-noise set with a fellow DJ. With rehearsals not forthcoming and estrangement from other band members continuing to grow, Adamson decided to put his involvement with them on ice. He relocated to Scotland in early 2015, and at the time of this edit, no further music projects have been announced. The return of Stok:holm at some stage had seemed entirely possible until an attempt to reform the band without Adamson was attempted; something to which he strenuously objected. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Axident Avenue | Glam/Sleaze band from Halden, Norway that was created in late 2006, when Violet's (Vox) and Valentine's (Bass) band went belly-up. They both had been wanting to start a sleazerock/glam-metal band for quite some time and they started looking for a new line-up. Ricky Holmes, a mind-blowingly good guitar player (and drinking buddy) joined the band a few weeks later. After playing with some different drummers, when none of them really worked out, Ricky introduced the guys to a good friend of his, Lucky DeVille. He played the drums like he was trying to beat the shit out of them and therefore turned out to be perfect for the band's wants and needs. He also had a really cool 66 Cadillac, perfect for sleazy rock'n'roll transportation. The band were now ready to shoot off with a loud, angry and in-your-face singer, a tall, dark and handsome bassplayer, a sleazy motherfucker tearing the strings off his guitar, and a gasoline-drinking, V8-loving drummer. Members: Stacii Violet - Vocals Ricky Holmes - Guitar Valentine - Bass Lucky DeVille - Drums | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dutch Falconi Orchestra | The Manhattan Transfer on Acid... That was probably the best of the many attempts to describe Dutch Falconi and his Twisted Orchestra. One of Sacramento's most successful and popular bands in the 1990s, DF offered a high-impact blend of Vegas style showmanship (Louis Prima was a favorite), Bertolt Brecht theatrics (Dutch's influence) and any fun wacky thing band members could throw in the mix (the Penis Guillotine was a fan favorite). The music was all over the map, but always unmistakably Dutch Falconi, with over a hundred original tunes and arrangements in the book when the band called it quits year 2000. | |
