Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025

Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Jack Spellazza He has opened for musical icons like Muddy Waters, Billy Joel, the Byrds, and the Boxtops. And he did all of this while he was still in his teens. In 1973 Jack began his yearly trips to L.A. in pursuit of the elusive deal from the music industry. His music always managed to generate interest, but it wasn’t until 1979 when he moved out to L.A. that his dream begin to take shape. Along the way he caught the ears and eyes of Robert Stigwood and Jerry Weintraub. With his musical collaborators his stories and music were able to catch the attention of Disney, Hanna-Barbara, and Dreamworks to name a few. Jack is a song painter in every sense of the word, writing and performing his own unique version of many styles from pop to R&B, Broadway to folk. Throughout the 80’s he performed his original works either as a solo artist or with the group River Debris at various clubs and venues throughout the St. Louis area. In the late 90’s Jack began recording the whimsical children’s musical “Hats For The Elephants” which was drawn from his own childhood memories of the zoo. In 2000, Jack developed “Lights On The Grand Basin,” a musical based on his grandparent’s memories of the 1904 St. Louis World Fair. The musical love story offers an exquisite look at a time when folks from all over the country were saying “Meet Me In St. Louis.” In 2006, Jack received a commission to write a historical musical about one of the earliest river towns in Missouri. “Hills Above The Riverbank” covers 200 years of the history of St. Charles, a town that grew on the banks of the Missouri near the confluence of the Mississippi.

Search Add 2 Blackberry Brothers Blackberry Brothers, as a band, was formed in the spring of 2015 and since then they have been consistently following their musical path. On the one hand they tip their hats to greatest rock and blues artists from the 60s and 70s, but on the other they successfully settle their music in contemporary American blues-rock. Blackberry Brothers convincingly refute those who ceaselessly sentence rock'n'roll to certain death. Considering their brief stint on the Polish musical stage, they have already performed at many festivals throughout the country. Their concerts evoked enthusiastic response from the audience during Rawa Blues Festival, Festiwal Muzyczna Jesień in Grodków (one of the first music competitions in Poland), Front Porch Blues in Chorzów, Wszyscy Śpiewamy na Rockowo in Ostrów Wielkopolski and Bluesroads Festival in Kraków. Blackberry Brothers have already gained studio experience while recording their first professional demo at Vintage Records. May 2018 saw release of "Old Soul" - their debut album which meets with favourable reception not only from the reviewers, but, most of all, from Polish and foreign music lovers.

Members included lifelong musicians, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra members, university students, teachers, and business professionals. The band was conducted by [a6986853] and their first local appearances were at the Summerfest Stage in Sir Winston Churchill Square, Fort Edmonton Park, Government House, and Borden Park. We paid for their EP & tour merch and they set off on the road. Upon their return they wrote an album, went to Finland to record it & then split up. We never saw a penny from any sales of the EP or the T Shirts we had printed for them - £1200 wasted that could've been put to good use on a band who actually gave a shit!"

Search Add 2 The Dead Telluriders Aaron Sheley Aaron Sheley, co-writer and star of the acclaimed OEDIPUS MARSHAL, former writer for L.A. magazine ENTERTAINMENT TODAY, director of a 30 hour movie with hundreds of live rock performances, and the author of a few successful internet blogs, like the WEB-O-VERSE, was writing his daily poetry on regular schedule. A certain chance of events lead up to his meeting with Olaf the Recording Artist, that together recorded an all original, debut music album HAPPY ACCIDENTS by THE DEAD TELLURIDERS. While above are listed as his achievements, let it be known that it was never easy for Aaron. In 2002, he was diagnosed as bipolar, and eventually realized he was part schizophrenic, as well. So, after years of ups and downs and treatments, Aaron finally got such a hold on his illness, that he was able to join with NAMI and SUICIDE PREVENTION, to speak at events and therapeutically engage his peers. This music is a reflection of his joys and sorrows, his failures and successes. The stories of love gained and love lost are universally shared in music, and Aaron is so happy to present this art work, which fits right into his stream of conscious, avant-garde, artistic writing.
