Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Systems Theory | A long-distance internet music project formed through the Usenet rec.music.progressive newsgroup in 1999 by ex-pat Brit in California Steven Davies-Morris, his long-time American friend Greg Amov and Scotsman Mike Dickson. Some influences: Can, Eno, Eric Satie, Gong, Hawkwind, Jade Warrior, King Crimson, Kraftwerk, Mike Oldfield, Philip Glass, Tangerine Dream, musique concrète, 20th Century atonal classical music and sampling (not necessarily in that order). We might remind you of (tongue in cheek): Can meets Jade Warrior and Tangerine Dream in a bar for a few beers while listening to Harold Budd, Ozric Tentacles and William Orbit. Then they head off to an after-hours club to drink single malt whisky while Steve Tibbetts and Steve Roach fire-up odd percussion and old-school electronics for a jam with Hawkwind and King Crimson refugees. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Insane Macbeth | Keith Rodgers | Insane Macbeth started getting into production in 1988, it took a number of years to perfect his craft and in 1991, he produced 'Borderin' Insanity' for Kinetic Effect (whilst Kinetic Effect was still in 2 The Top). 'Borderin' was the last recording at Cold Storage Studio (where MC Mell 'O', and London Posse recorded material). Tim Westwood played 'Borderin' while it was on a tape, when he was at Capital Radio. It was officially released in 1993 on Insane Macbeth's own imprint, Insane Recordings. In 1995 he recorded 'Man Bites Dog'/ 'The Effect Of Fear' with Kinetic Effect. Moving away from the battle mentality, Kinetic Effect & Insane Macbeth wanted to explore more abstract concepts, with beats that were more like soundscapes! These two tracks were released in 1997 (whilst Insane Macbeth was at university, studying a philosophy degree). There are only 500 copies available of this single, these two tracks act as a precurser to the trip-hop & break-beat movement. In 1999, he started recording his album, tentatively called 'The "Retardation" Project'. Wishing to gain a more accessible sound (without moving away from what The Icepick called, "his dungeon sound"!), he completed 14 cuts. The album included Kinetic Effect, The 'Legendary' Icepick, Huntkillbury Finn, Grizzly, Shaka Shazzam, Crazy Noddy, and a protege of Insane Macbeth's called Ripper. There are only 100 white label copies of this album around. He died on May 8th, 2016 from complications due to deteriorating health following a long battle with leukemia. |

The church was founded by [a13001919] and [a13001922]. Originally called the Toronto Airport Vineyard, the church was the host for a Christian Renewal/Revival movement known as the "Toronto Blessing", which was known for its spiritual manifestations, including reports of healings, prophecy, holy laughter and deep, intimate worship encounters with God. The church and the Toronto Blessing affected many other renewal/revival movements and ministries around the world, including the greater Association of Vineyard Churches and most notably the Brownsville Revival at [l1675372]. The music sung during the church's meetings was often recorded and released on CDs, popularizing its brand of worship music. Noteable figures who's were associated with or who's music was recorded on some of their albums include [a2818205], [a881460], [a2048225], [a753486], [a1331031], [a1235139], [a170308], and [a257413]. The church experienced several name changes, first changing its name to Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship upon separating from the Vineyard Movement and later to "Catch The Fire Church Toronto". | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Roman Zavada | Roman Zavada is a self-taught Ukrainian-Québécois pianist whose creative direction is based on instinct, spontaneity, and improvisation. With a pianist for a mother, he got to know the instrument from his early childhood, penning his first composition at the tender age of 4. He then undertook conservatory studies but quickly opted for the path of self-study and experimentation, which suited him far better. He soon developed a taste for the stage, refined his improvisational skills, and released two self-produced albums (Terre de feu, Nuit des temps). In 2005, he took on a responsibility that marked a turning point in his career: replacing Gabriel Thibodeau, the Cinémathèque québécoise silent film accompanist. Invigorated by the experience, he put together the Du cinéma muet au piano parlant show, a resounding success in regions across the entire province of Quebec. After acquiring quite the reputation as a silent film accompanist, he now presents an all-new project: Résonances boréales. Returning to his personal compositions, the pianist continues to explore the dialog between piano and images, this time substituting silent films with aurora borealis in motion in the night sky. He will put his creativity to the test in an extraordinary environment: the Northwest Territories’ boreal forest. This very particular initiative – with no equivalent in the entire world – will lead to a new album and immersive performance experience featuring 360-degree projections in February 2016. Through these two daring, authentic productions, Zavada continues like no other to push the limits of the piano, his only true mother tongue. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Michel Vogel | Michael Vogel, a sound sculptor Michel Vogel was born in Strasbourg in 1941. After a career in agriculture and agronomy, he devoted himself permanently his creative activity from 1980. By the mid 1960s, he experimented on a work matter whether mineral or sound and is over time and encounters his musical universe which combines mainly free jazz, extra-European music, Olivier Messiaen, and later the Baroque, John Cage, Philip Corner, Morton Feldman, Tom Johnson, Giacinto Scelsi. In 1965, he created a series of paintings materialists, then gradually moving to wood and metal sculpture. In 1988, the "encounter" with a brass plate in-principle for a sculpture opens the door (voice?) Sound. Other plates follow and gradually form an instrumentarium significant gongs and bells platforms that keeps growing since then. His friend Philip Corner interested in his work and during his visits to Paris, first played solo and in duet with Michael Vogel on instrumentarium created by the latter. Since then, Michel Vogel continued his musical compositions and performs her solo or with other musicians from the jazz and improvised music. It is part including the collective "In hear" and has just released his first album in LP Planam, Alga Marghen. Not being trained musician, Michel Vogel develops his music "his way", a mixture of improvisation and rigor. It is better defined as a sound sculptor and metal ringer. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Randy Wayne Sitzler | Born in Detroit, Randy has definitely tasted his share of the “blue collar” way of life. Raised by parents who migrated from Tennessee and Alabama, he was immediately exposed to the ways of the south, cornbread and beans, bluegrass and country. At six years old Randy started playing music by strumming along to records by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and the Beatles. Playing guitar and songwriting quickly became his passion. Randy’s influences are Johnny Cash, Lennon & McCartney, John Mellencamp and Merle Haggard. He credits his mentor, Rick Beresford, for teaching him that songwriting is an art form as well as a craft and must come from the heart. Randy has two CD releases. In 2001 he released “Hard Days in The Heartland” under the DTM label. A powerful recording that takes an intense journey through the heartland of America with songs such as “ The Legacy”, “Blue Collar Redemption”, “Billy Crocker’s House” and the title track, “ Hard Days in The Heartland”. Randy’s latest effort, “Pontiac Trail”, under the Highway 29 Records label, takes a honest look at everyday life and the questions one may have about work, fairness, love and happiness. Skillfully penned songs such as “Got My Feet On The Ground”, “One Of These Days”, Boiling Bones For Stew”, and “ Loretta” will prove that Randy has a clear understanding as to the trials and tribulations of the common man | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lodis C | Always evolving, never fading, their music is two faces: compassion and malevolence. Lodis C brings forth music that spawns from the unlikely bond of unremitting love and devoted disgust. Creativity is influenced by countless sources yet always builds its foundation from dedication and cooperation. With the release of their EP, “Wait These Days,” understanding is strongly evident in their approach. Within a single song, the band can show you both beauty and hatred. Expect the truth not blinded by the hands of a guilty, lesser society that is based on greed, insults, and lies. This time around, the feelings are real. Sounds of the wounded are sounds of the adored. Experience plays a significant role in their creativity. Each member knows that where beauty can be found, shadows are gravely haunting. When it seems that all is lost, progress can still be made when victim to malicious tactics. From ruins of defeat, the strength to carry on churns from enemies of the past. An indefinite fate will not slow the band in their onward advances. Being familiar with conflict has readied them for the decisions that are ahead. Boundless horizons and an equally abundant driving force guides Lodis C to an echelon above all. | |
