Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Andskoti | Andskoti | In the early months of 2019, a half thought out project appeared. With ideas spewing forth fast, it did not take long until the idea was fully formed. Enter Andskoti! Andskoti, being the Icelandic word for Adversary and one of the names of Satan or the Devil; the original and ultimate adversary, is a musical act put forth to explore and convey the Luciferian spirit and ideology. Every track or release tackles a certain subject and is a part of a personal ritual, formed in music performance within the correct setting, created by Andskoti himself. If one were to put a label on Andskoti's music, it would probably best fall under the 'rythmic noise' term, though a more accurate description would include the keywords 'repetitive', 'bass-heavy' and 'ritualistic', and it relies heavily on electronics. The sole member and invoker of spirits behind Andskoti has led other solo projects that have performed in various countries, as well as been involved with known metal bands in the Icelandic scene, but now resides in Belgium and focuses solely on Andskoti. |

Search | Add | 4 | Luis Mojica | Luis Mojica is an American pianist, composer, and singer. With a three and half octave vocal range, he creates choral-like harmonies to tell tales of magick, the Earth, death, and, within them, often explores themes of sexuality and gender. Using beat boxing and a loop pedal, Luis pioneers the term "Beat Box Baroque" which marries classical piano melodies and vocal techniques with modern-day hip-hop and pop percussion styles. His music draws from many genres including classical, pop, baroque, hip-hop, & folk. He plays piano, beat boxes, and sings in the legendary cell-based group Rasputina. | |

Though internationally he is perhaps best known for his creative work with Taiwan folk legend Chen Ming-chang (陳明章) and Asia superstar Chyi Chin (齊秦), it is within bands such as the Taipei 90s underground Jazz Cowboys and Seattle looping improvisers Radio Chongqing that his distinct sonic signature and textural composing shine. He's collaborated closely with producers Te-chang Hsu (徐德昌) and Randall Dunn, guitarists Bill Horist and Dennis Rea, trumpet innovator Lesli Dalaba, as well as English film composer Simon Whitfield. He took an interest in the guitar & keyboard and during this 6 year period was involved in various bands. Until high school he was interested in rock & derivatives and started recording for his own bands in his home studio. He started taking music classes to improve his formal music knowledge. Meanwhile he carried on with his home recordings. Around the turn of the millenium, he started to sway from rock towards electronic sounds. For the next two years he took his first steps involving electronic music and DJ'ing. All the while he kept making his own productions and improving them. In 2004 he got his education in sound engineering and broadened the scope of his work. He began to DJ and produce at events together with major names in Turkey. |
