Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Salomon Ruysdael | Salomon van Ruysdael | Salomon van Ruysdael (c. 1602, Naarden – buried November 3, 1670, Haarlem) was a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter. He was the uncle of [a=Jacob Van Ruisdael]. According to Arnold Houbraken he was the son of a woodworker specialized in making fancy ebony frames for mirrors and paintings. His father sent his sons Jacob and Salomon to learn Latin and medicine, and they both became landscape painters, specialized in ruis-daal, or trickling water through a dale, after their name. Jacob was registered with the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke and signed his paintings, while Salomon signed them much less often and was not a member for several years. Houbraken wrote that Salomon invented a way of creating sculpted ornaments that when they were polished, looked like polished marble. These were quite popular as a decoration on chests and picture frames, until the secret of their manufacture was discovered and widely copied. Houbraken confused the members of the Ruysdael family. According to the Netherlands Institute for Art History (Dutch abbreviation, RKD), Salomon was the brother of Isaack van Ruisdael, who before they moved to Haarlem, were called Gooyer or Gooier and they were sons of Jacob van Gooyer the Elder, who was a furniture and frame maker in Naarden. Both sons had sons they named after their father. Thus Salomon was the uncle, not the brother of Jacob Isaakszoon van Ruisdael, and he was the father of Jacob Salomonsz. van Ruysdael. Salomon joined the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke in 1623 (as Salomon de Gooyer), and he became a follower of Jan Porcellis and [a=Esaias Van De Velde]. He travelled from Haarlem to Leiden, Utrecht, Amersfoort, Alkmaar, Rhenen, and Dordrecht, painting landscapes and stately homes. Of the four painters, Jacob Isaakszoon is the most famous today. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Hôpital De La Conception | The so-called Hôpital De La Conception has seemingly arranged it all well in order to maintain an aura of mystery and ensure the untraceability of the band member(s)’ real identity; as a matter of fact, the only thing to feed our fantasies lies exclusively in the disclosure of the man-behind-the-guitar&voice’s epic moniker: Junk Nurse. What’s going on here?! The cover mentions « Hôpital De La Conception, featuring Junk Nurse in The Electric Rockin’ Chair ». Thus are we desperately conjecturing (in vain?) about the existence of a shifting collective, but which actually reveals us its very first known incarnation in soloing itself on guitar in the person of Junk Nurse..? | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Beat Show Club Band | Beat Show Club Band (stylized as: BEAT SHOW CLUB BAND) was a short-lived power pop(?)/soft rock(?) band from Japan, possibly formed under/signed to the label [l22224], and was formed for the event “Asian Calling”. The group consisted of various members from other bands, such as [a2157471] from [a2157470], “Sanpei” from [a2071294], and, most notably, [a2022806] of [a2147997]. They released one single on a mini CD, titled 「夜汽車」. The single did not sell well, likely due to the cover art’s depictions of band members in nude (but had their private parts covered by stars). The group then disbanded soon after. The musical style of Beat Show Club Band is a bit complex. The first song 夜汽車 contains music over spoken word, actual singing, reggae-type beats, folk-ish vibes, a chorus sung by multiple people, and a general easy-listening taste to it. Meanwhile, the second song, Just A Beat Showのテーマ, is more of a party rock song, taking more of an upbeat approach like a punk song. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | 10 Bay 4 | 10 Bay 4 is a four-piece original hard rock band quickly emerging from the Chicago music scene. Led by a dynamic front man and three diverse musicians, they are turning heads throughout the Chicagoland area and hypnotizing crowds with their powerful rock melodies and explosive live performances. Recently playing at notable venues such as Cubby Bear, Double Door, Hard Rock Cafe, and House of Blues, 10 Bay 4 has experienced large audiences intensely embracing their music and joining a large army of loyal fans. The positive reaction has been remarkable, earning them airplay on 94. 7 The Zone(Local zone), and enthusiastic reviews of their music on garagebands . Fueled by John Gullakson's alluring, hard rock guitar riffs, Adam Stranc's commanding Bass, Frank Poe's enticing drumbeats, and Brian Fack's powerful, angst driven voice, the music resonates an intoxicating, punchy, radio-friendly sound. It is their plan to unleash this sound to the world and do what ever it takes to entertain audiences and become a unique, irreplaceable force in the music industry. 10 Bay 4 (formerly known as Ashley Rhodes) recorded their first three-song demo at Twin Tone Recording Studios, in Kankakee, IL. in December of 1999. With their first recording in hand, the band set off to rigorously play and promote their music throughout the Chicago land area. Within months, their hard work began to pay off, landing them the headlining slot at Lewis University's "Greek Stock". A turning point for Ashley Rhodes, it was a beginning to a strong and loyal Lewis University following. They continued on into 2001, recording yet another 3-song demo, this time at Gravity Studios, one of Chicago's premier recording facilities. A growing fan base and interests in Ashley Rhodes soon placed the band within the heart of Chicago's local music scene, gaining acceptance into such notable Chicago venues as the House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe. Persistent efforts to strengthen musicianship lead Fack to move to Tampa, Florida in 2002. After recruiting New England native, drummer Frank Poe (NY) and bassist Adam Stranc, 10 Bay 4 stepped into MCR studios to record their first full-length album, "Letting Go." Dedicating most of their time to recording the album over the next several months, the CD was finished just in time for them to head back to Chicago in early 2003. Now, year 2004, more and more people continue to embrace the passion and feel the strength in 10 Bay 4's music. Audiences are chanting louder and louder " WE WERE FREEDOM! WE WERE FREEDOM! WE WERE FREEDOM! " from their hit song "Faced" ; a song about the lead singer's struggle to come to terms with his friend's death. With the release of "Letting Go", the band has its sights set for the stars and will do what it takes to succeed. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ketill Jensson | Icelandic tenor singer, born in 1925 in Reykavík, died in 1994. He was one of Iceland's most promising singers in the middle of the century. His singing ability was questioned and several sponsors paid for his three-year singing studies in Milan, Italy, where he studied with several other Icelanders around and before the 1950s. Ketill came home and sang publicly with a good reputation, he went back to Italy twice for further singing studies and in 1955 two albums were released with his solo singing accompanied by Fritz Weisshappell, they contained, among other things, music from the opera Cavalleria Rusticana which he sang in here on Iceland, but he also sang one of the roles in the operetta Leðurblákunn around that time. Furthermore, an album was released in 1956 where he sang together with Guðrúna Á. Simon and the National Theater Choir. At this time, Ketil's singing career was at its peak and all his singing paths seemed straight and wide ahead. But after that he stopped singing for some reasons that are not entirely known. It is known that projects were scarce at that time and Ketill could not survive on singing alone here at home, and so he went to study fish assessment and then worked at Ríkismati marine products for years, which may also have something to say but there followed by both irregular working hours and absences from home. He also got into a scene due to a singing job at the National Theater and seems to have decided not to sing anymore, but it is not entirely clear. Ketill therefore stopped all public singing for about thirty years, but then appeared unexpectedly in 1986 with a new album called Ketill Jensson singur: Jónas Ingimundarson and Fritz Weisshappel play along on the piano. On that album, you could find the old recordings as well as new ones made in the Hlégarð community center. The album, which Ketill released himself, received fair criticism from the music critics of DV, Tímans and Morgunblaðinn, who all agreed that there was more in the older recordings, although the voice was certainly still there. It can be said that external circumstances have shackled Katli and his singing career has become much less than it could have been otherwise. He also faced another shock in his life when he lost one of his sons in a fire so that his life was strewn with thorns. The tenor singer [a7062637] is his son, and his nephews are the brothers [a7304262] and [a996771]. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mottorama | Mottorama is an electronic duo band formed in Florianópolis in 2008 by Jean Gengnagel and Alexandre Franco. The band was heavily known for using a myriad of different instruments, improvising and generating a lot of it’s sounds live. They played beside known artists such as Booka Shade, Anthony Rother, Edu K, Digitaria, Karol Conka and Boss in Drama in big festivals such as Planeta Atlântida and big international clubs such as D-edge and Warung club. The live presentations were energetic and nostalgic since it was heavily inspired by 80s synthpop music and visuals. In an article[1], Juliana Calderari noted that in Planeta Atlântida festival, they were using clothes with LEDs that respond to music. Thiago Ney, a very known Brazilian music journalist from Folha de são paulo, described them in an article[2], as being "way too consistent for a band so young". It was revealed in interviews, both to the magazine Dynamite[3] and Cartaz[4], that they didn’t have a professional studio and everything was recorded and produced home. Mottorama released two albums: Mottorama and Me, The Night and These Lights. | |
