Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Dutch Falconi Orchestra | The Manhattan Transfer on Acid... That was probably the best of the many attempts to describe Dutch Falconi and his Twisted Orchestra. One of Sacramento's most successful and popular bands in the 1990s, DF offered a high-impact blend of Vegas style showmanship (Louis Prima was a favorite), Bertolt Brecht theatrics (Dutch's influence) and any fun wacky thing band members could throw in the mix (the Penis Guillotine was a fan favorite). The music was all over the map, but always unmistakably Dutch Falconi, with over a hundred original tunes and arrangements in the book when the band called it quits year 2000. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors of Dub started life in 1991 as an 11-piece collective, based in London, UK, with a shared interest in reggae, jazz & world sounds. Over a period of 6 - 7 years, before personnel began to move on and the band shrunk and mutated into a more studio-based unit called Species, the band toured extensively in the UK giving rave-received live performances at festivals, clubs and arts centres from Penzance to Cupar. Whilst the band was principally a live unit the recorded material was interesting and innovative along broadly dub-reggae lines. Only a handful of DoD recordings exist - a 12" ep 'Themanawar' and 6-track k7 - featuring tracks produced by Jonny 'Milty' Milton (Aswad, Maxi Priest etc) - and the CD ep 'Tartarsaurus'. The band also recorded a session in 1995 for Andy Kershaw's Radio 1 programme. If you take the Soundcloud link below you can hear or download (for free!) all of these tracks plus some recently unearthed live recordings from a gig in St.Austell, Cornwall. A video of Doctors of Dub featuring the bands trademark strange stage attire and some of the characters who used to people the stage - not least the legendary Tartarsaurus - has topped 10,000 viewings on YouTube. The re-mix of one of the bands most popular live tracks around which the video is based (see link below) was performed by Andy Montgomery, a stalwart of the trendsetting On-U Sound crew, and, I hope you'll agree, there are some awesome dub moments. The other two tracks on the ep were re-mixed by Tom 'Another Fine Day' Green and Manchester's hard-hitting Yam-Yam team. In concert DoD eschewed rock-star pyrotechnics (too expensive), opting instead for low-key ultra-violet lighting and face/body painting coupled with vibrant day-glo stage gear. Audiences loved this approach, although various lighting engineers across the country have been known to throw a sulk at the band. The band enjoyed touring and this came across on stage - audiences can sense it and are always happy to join the party. Doctors of Dub personnel (original line-up): Bass guitar: Vernon Munday Rhythm & lead guitar, vocal: John Warner Rhythm guitar: Dom Williams Keyboards & violin: 'Trouser' Dave Thompson Lead vocals: Oli Johnson Alto sax, flute, visuals, backing vox: Chrissy Quayle Trumpet, percussion: Ian Wright Alto & soprano sax: Paul Micah Percussion/visuals: Russell Roberts Drums: Dave Atkin Sound man was Ricky Dear. |

Randolph - Lead Vocals Aaron Blacker - Vocals, Guitar, Keys Dave Osmalov - Lead Guitar, Keys J Granberg - Bass Guitar Joey Banks - Drums, Programming We are Know Boundaries, a 6 piece band hailing fom Madison, WI, USA. We focus on energy in our music along with well delivered Hiphop styled lyrics with a rock edge (we call it ULTRA ROCK HIPHOP). We have our own sound but we share your problems. If you want the whole story, here\'s our official Bio: In a culture that seems all too content to ignore the atrocities, injustices, and contradictions of the world, Madison, Wisconsin’s KNOW BOUNDARIES assaults the ears of listeners and offers them the opportunity to “eat the red pill” and truly see the reality of the world around them. By combining the mediums of Hiphop and rock into an organic, modern, tour-de-force, KNOW BOUNDARIES takes listeners on a musical ride exposing them to a wide variety of musical and intellectual influences. Fusing the “boom-bap” of THE ROOTS, the sonic freedom of The Mars Volta, the bombastic energy of ONYX, the intellectual curiosity of Saul Williams, the rawness of Rage Against The Machine, and the fluid creativity of Jack Kerouac, KNOW BOUNDARIES creates a distinctly unique, yet completely accessible sound that is sure to ‘maraud for ears’ at an astonishing rate. Since forming only a few years ago, response to KNOW BOUNDARIES has been immediate, and their resume abounds with awards and accolades. In only a short time, they have garnered national label interest, received corporate sponsorship through Budweiser’s “True Music” program, showcased at numerous industry conferences, received the Madison Area Music Award for both Best Hiphop Group or Artist of 2004, & Madison’s Best Hiphop/Urban Song for "the slingblade", and opened up for nationally touring groups such as THE ROOTS, the Black Eyed Peas, Cypress Hill, the Gin Blossoms, Sound Tribe Sector Nine, 3 Days Grace, Caroline Spine, Buckcherry, Fastball, & Something Corporate. Unlike many genre-blending groups, KNOW BOUNDARIES gets props from both Hiphop and rock camps. The six members of the band are well-educated, articulate musicians that bring their own individual vibes to the table resulting in the one-of-a-kind KNOW BOUNDARIES sound. Think Muse meets Blackalicious, Mars Volta meets Little Brother, Radiohead meets Outkast, and Nine Inch Nails meet THE ROOTS. If you're into poetry, politics, & music, KNOW BOUNDARIES will more than satisfy. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Snehaprabha Pradhan | Snehaprabha Pradhan | Snehprabha Pradhan (actress, singer, screenplay writer, biographer) was very much part of the socialistic movie intelligentsia that roamed the planet in the ’30s and ’40s. Born around 1920s, she was the daughter Vitthalrao Pradhan and Tarabai. Like her contemporaries (Shanta Apte etc), Snehaprabha spent a culturally diverse childhood. The first 10 years of her life took her to Nagpur, Bombay, Poona, Delhi, Calcutta, Lahore and other places. As the story goes, by the age of 18, she was already fluent in 4 languages. Her love for animals was legendary. Dogs and cats and birds were her best friends, and she longed for the day when she would be a doctor, no doubt to take care of humans and animals alike. Sadly, she never went past a couple of years of college. It was probably around the late ’30s, that she got the first jolt of reality. Her father had left the family some years ago, and her mom Tarabai was taken ill, and could no longer support the family. Movies were the last thing on Snehprabha’s mind, but circumstances and good contacts i.e. Chimanbhai Desai of Bombay Talkies led to the first few assignments in films like Saubhagya (1940), Civil Marriage (1940), and Sajani (1940). Thanks to Chimanbhai Desai, she got the first lead role of her career opposite Kishore Sahu in Bombay Talkies’ Punarmilan (1940) – music by Ramchandra Pal with possibly some orchestral guidance by Saraswati Devi. The most popular song of Snehaprabha’s music career was “naacho naacho pyaare man ke mor”. Punarmilan became the biggest hit of her film career and it also introduced her to Kishore Sahu. They met, fell in love, and tied the knot, but the marriage lasted about a year. In the early ’40s, there she was, fending for herself all over again. The divorce made the tabloids. She was upset, and talked about responsible journalism, but did not go any further. Also around this time, she connected with the Master Vinayak’s circle. Coincidentally, a 13-year old Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar was desperately looking for a job around 1942. A Vinayak colleague (R.S. Junnarkar) was in the process of making Paahili Mangalaagaur (1942), and Snehaprabha fitted right in as the leading lady opposite Shahu Modak. The movie is a landmark because it got an A certificate on account of a suggestive bedroom sequence (dark screen, hushed background sounds). People saw this movie over and over again, and some even carried strong flashlights into the theatre, hoping to get more out of that one scene! Paahili Mangalaagaur was Lata’s first movie as a child actress. Snehaprabha and Lata sang a duet in this film, picturized on themselves. There is no question about it as Snehaprabha herself confirmed that in an early ’90s interview. Therfore, Snehprabha made history by singing the first ever duet with Lata. On Christmas day 1946, Tarabai died, a tired lady, very sick and very proud. Both of her parents had dedicated large parts of their lives to social work, particularly to the cause of literacy in India. That left no time for the material life. The daughter was always on her own, fiercely independent, utterly radical, outspoken, gentle, and strong. But this loss broke her. On one occasion, she tried to take her own life and failed. Sometime in the ’50s, Snehaprabha Pradhan married Dr. Shirodhkar, and came back to Bombay. She lived the last 40 years of her life in peace and relative oblivion, totally dedicated to social work and the stage. She died in 1993 |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Handmedowns | The Handmedown formed at the end of 1986, playing the Adelaide underground seen with other bands such as the Dust Collection, Mad Turks, Screaming Believers, etc The initial line-up was Trevor Comley on vocals & lead Guitar, Tony Dyer on vocals & rhythm Guitar, Dave Gray on bass and Jason Kilic on drums. Later in 1987 the band recorded a 6 track demo, 5 Comley tracks and 1 Dyer track. Shortly after mixing the demo Dave Gray (later to form Rocket Science) was replaced by Rohan Belton (previously of the Verge, Dust Collection, Garden Path) on bass and vocals. Prior to the final mix, Rohan added some addition vocals to a couple of tracks. These 6 tracks were later released in 2004 on Smashed Records CD - Free Set of Steak Knives, as well as the track Goodbye (Comley) being release on a compilation EP by Swedish magazine Sound Affects (final editional) in 1998. In late 1987 Tony Dyer left the band, and the 3 remaining members went on to record 6 new tracks for the EP "Back to Yourself" released on Greasy Pop Records (88). The band continued to play the Adelaide underground seen, eventually recruiting Scott Allan (also of the Dust Collection) on vocals & rhythm Guitar. The band dispanded in mid 1989. Comley, Dyer and Kilic later reformed as the Adelaide 3 piece power pop band SWERVE, which went on to release the 9 track "SWERVE" tape in 94, the 6 track CD "Let Me Out" in early 97 and a unrelease 4 track demo in 1998. Dyer then went on to join the Stoneage Hearts in 2012, Comley went on to play with the Sack with Allen, and in 2014 joined up with Allen once again for another music project. Belton started up the record label "Smashed Records" in the early 2000's, and played in various other bands including the Mynd Gardeners and the Dust Collection. Dave Gray went on to play in Melbourne band the Electric Guitars and the Freeloader. In 2012 Jason Kilic became the president of the SANFL football club "Sturt", in Adelaide. | |

Later that year, Aida Dražić (baritone saxophone) joined in and URAR stepped into 2017 in full force. It was a year marked by lots of hard work, creation and affirmation of the band’s sound identity and the resulting live performances. After a great many rehearsals, the band recorded their first album and played several gigs in and around Pula, Koper, Ljubljana, Nova Gorica and Zagreb. This trio distinguished by some quite dissimilar personalities, diverse musical preferences and influences grew into a unique collective which secures an avant-garde musical expression of joyfully depressive colours through a fusion of numerous music genres, charisma and simplicity.

| Search | Add | 3 | Romeo Z | A six man group who recorded in the 1960s. At one stage they were the resident band at London's Chi-Chi club. They also played at the Pickwick club. They were a diverse group with members hailing from Trinidad, Spain, Ghana and Dominica. The group consisted of [a790921] ( aka Eric Allandale) on trombone, [a531817] on bass, Stan Charman the group leader (brother of Clive), Erwin Clement on drums, Eddie Cuansa on trumpet, and [a10831735] (aka Jerry Elbows) on conga and vocals. One night [a1588323] and [a59655] had stopped off at the Chi-Chi club. They were discussing the issue of needing a highly switched on song for an "intensely switched on movie". Romeo Z were playing at the time and after hearing the group Fantoni and Myers knew they had what they wanted. The 1966 film Kaleidoscope which was directed by Jack Smight, starred [a499264] and Susannah York. Fantoni and Myers composed the song " Kaleidoscope" which was recorded by Romeo Z. It was sent out as a single-sided demo disc that year. It appears to feature Allendale on vocals. The song also appears on the [m=528276] soundtrack. In March, 1967, a single, "Come Back, Baby Come Back" bw "Since My Baby Said Goodbye" was released on CBS. The A side was composed by Stan & Clive Charman, Eric Allendale and Jerry Elboz, and the B side by Stan Charman and Eric Allendale. Allendale would go on to be a member of a group which evolved out of The Ramong sound, soul group, [a240895]. And before the year was out, The Foundations had released "[m=109982]". | |

This choir performed at the official opening of the Cross Hands Public Hall in 1911 and in its formative years, the choir was successful in competitions at Abergwili and Swansea. Tom Morgan was succeeded by Peter Edwards, Llechyfedach, Tumble who continued the success of the choir winning fourteen successive First Prizes in competitions most notably with its test piece - Protheroe's 'Crusaders'. The first appearance by the choir in an Eisteddfod was in Flint in 1969 when it gained Third Prize. The experience paid dividends when in the following year at Ammanford, the choir clinched the First Prize in competition with five others when being award 282 points - an unusual feature in that it was 8 marks ahead of all others. This exciting success brought glory to Tumble and the surrounding districts from which choristers were drawn as this was the first time a choir from the area had won First Prize at a National Eisteddfod.
