Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Carl de Suze | Carl DeSuze had a career in broadcasting that spanned six decades. He began his broadcasting career at WGAN in Portland ME in 1937. Four years later he landed a job that would last for 45 years: hosting the morning show on WBZ in Boston. He was #1 in the morning from 1941 until 1980, which is probably a national record. The station’s frequency went from 990 to 1030, the format went from full-service MOR (middle-of-the-road) to Top 40 (W-Beatle-Z, the Boss Sound of Boss-Town) to Adult Contemporary during his tenure. A grandmother once referred to him as “that fresh young kid who’s the announcer on the Majorie Mills Show,” a reference that dates to the 40’s. (Marjorie Mills is a 2009 Inductee in the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame). In the early days of Boston TV he also did a children’s show on WBZ-TV called “Surprize Package.” In the 40s and 50’s he was known for breaking records on the air. Breaking a record usually means you’re the first to play a song that eventually becomes a big hit. Not in Carl’s case. If he played a song he felt wasn’t that good he’d actually break the disc on the air. Listeners would hear him say, “My dear, we won’t be hearing that one again” followed by the sound of cracking vinyl. He referred to his show as “The Carl DeSuze Swingin’ Sashay” and punctuate the top of the hour ID with “Aaaare you theeeere??” In the 1960s and 70s there was a billboard on the Central Artery near Boston Garden that said, “As Carl DeSuze Riseth, so Doth Bothton.” It was true. Carl DeSuze would come to work at WBZ radio dressed in an ascot and cape. Much more than just a morning drive DJ, Carl lived an interesting life and had a million stories to tell. He could talk about his memories of the Cocoanut Grove fire, the many celebrities and newsmakers he knew or all the places he had been during his travels. After returning from a trip to Australia he would announce thew station’s call letters as “W-B-Zed.” He spoke beautifully, and with his dry wit and his love for the arts, he was always in demand as a guest lecturer. He hosted travelogue events for school PTA meetings, such as “Southeast Asia…the Tiger We Ride” (prior to the US involvement in Vietnam). He spoke several languages and also wrote articles for Atlantic Monthly and Yankee Magazine. After nearly 40 years doing the morning show on WBZ he handed the reins to long-time midday host Dave Maynard in 1980. Carl moved to a shorter midday shift and did a daily feature called “Carl’s Calendar” until his retirement in 1985. Carl DeSuze was a gifted announcer and a legendary broadcaster. He died in 1998 at the age of 83. - From The Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame | |

His first encounter with music was in 1986, when he heard The Beatles playing during lunch time at elementary school. In high school, he became absorbed in heavy metal. However, after suddenly losing his best friend to illness, he was unable to listen to anything hard. In 1999, he went on a pilgrimage to his musical roots, visiting New Orleans, Nashville, New York and other places. After returning to Japan, he decided to make a living from music, and devoted himself to songwriting. He worked as a farmer during the day and a street musician at night. In 2002, he was recognized by a music producer living in LA and travelled to the US. He recorded in America. In May 2003, he made his major debut with MIDI/Universal. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Jack Spellazza | He has opened for musical icons like Muddy Waters, Billy Joel, the Byrds, and the Boxtops. And he did all of this while he was still in his teens. In 1973 Jack began his yearly trips to L.A. in pursuit of the elusive deal from the music industry. His music always managed to generate interest, but it wasn’t until 1979 when he moved out to L.A. that his dream begin to take shape. Along the way he caught the ears and eyes of Robert Stigwood and Jerry Weintraub. With his musical collaborators his stories and music were able to catch the attention of Disney, Hanna-Barbara, and Dreamworks to name a few. Jack is a song painter in every sense of the word, writing and performing his own unique version of many styles from pop to R&B, Broadway to folk. Throughout the 80’s he performed his original works either as a solo artist or with the group River Debris at various clubs and venues throughout the St. Louis area. In the late 90’s Jack began recording the whimsical children’s musical “Hats For The Elephants” which was drawn from his own childhood memories of the zoo. In 2000, Jack developed “Lights On The Grand Basin,” a musical based on his grandparent’s memories of the 1904 St. Louis World Fair. The musical love story offers an exquisite look at a time when folks from all over the country were saying “Meet Me In St. Louis.” In 2006, Jack received a commission to write a historical musical about one of the earliest river towns in Missouri. “Hills Above The Riverbank” covers 200 years of the history of St. Charles, a town that grew on the banks of the Missouri near the confluence of the Mississippi. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Blackberry Brothers | Blackberry Brothers, as a band, was formed in the spring of 2015 and since then they have been consistently following their musical path. On the one hand they tip their hats to greatest rock and blues artists from the 60s and 70s, but on the other they successfully settle their music in contemporary American blues-rock. Blackberry Brothers convincingly refute those who ceaselessly sentence rock'n'roll to certain death. Considering their brief stint on the Polish musical stage, they have already performed at many festivals throughout the country. Their concerts evoked enthusiastic response from the audience during Rawa Blues Festival, Festiwal Muzyczna Jesień in Grodków (one of the first music competitions in Poland), Front Porch Blues in Chorzów, Wszyscy Śpiewamy na Rockowo in Ostrów Wielkopolski and Bluesroads Festival in Kraków. Blackberry Brothers have already gained studio experience while recording their first professional demo at Vintage Records. May 2018 saw release of "Old Soul" - their debut album which meets with favourable reception not only from the reviewers, but, most of all, from Polish and foreign music lovers. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Crown Boyz | The Deep South has had many artists to break ground and make it to the surface of the mainstream, and the quartet from Miami known as Crown Boyz, definitely lists among them. The four-man team whose members consist of Dirty-Thirty, Metro J (who also produces all of their tracks), Zoereli, and Shady K have been wreaking havoc on the Deep South's hip-hop scene since the early nineties. Crown Boyz was formed out of two former rival groups (The Fifth Crown and Dirty Clowns). When trials of life and moves to other parts of the state (Florida) left members of both groups incomplete it wasn't long before they realized their potential to become a force to be reckoned with by banding together. Now known as Crown Boyz their unique sound has left many headz nodding throughout the south and has even developed a fan base as far north as New York. Coming from a city where artists such as Trick Daddy and Uncle Luke are automatically thought of when Miami is mentioned, Crown Boyz are undoubtedly the next entity to keep the Magic City afloat in the rap music industry. Since the formation of Crown Boyz in 1999, their formula for success has not only been attributed to by their lyrical styling, but also by the production of one of the most sought out producers in The Bottom, their very own Metro J. Who has produced tracks for everyone from Lost Tribe (Slip n' Slide), Gruesome Pack and a host of others. Those who have seen them perform or heard any of their songs will instantly be taken by one of their catchy hooks, and fiery production. Definitely keep your eyes and ears open for their debut video "Tight Work" and their debut CD "Welcome to Da Bottom". | |
