Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | David Neuer | David Neuer | 1971 - 2007 (suicide). David Neuer's musical spectrum covers acoustic ballads, avant-blues twangin', psychedelic musique noir and undefinable semi-melodic no-fi weirdness. Neuer made eccentric cassette tape recordings since 1984. Later, he spent some time with a more crisp/clear/hi-fi sounding MiniDisc recorder as his alias, I.C. Cassiel. Other collaborations Neuer was involved in included West Cower Funtry and Los Flying Falafflers, and the more "serious" projects, Defenders of the 49th Parallel and Not Supposed To Drink It. In the early 1990s, Neuer played drums in a couple of bands with (Tender Prey's) Kenneth Larsen. As a poet, Neuer displayed his talents in the form of four Danish-language books, and participated on both of the BSBTA Talkathon Series releases with some poetry readings - with and without musical accompaniment. |

His work delves into sound and harmony perception, connecting the combination of avant-garde compositional systems and their alternative use. His technique focuses on a detailed analysis of the composition’s fundamental elements, deeply exploring both the microscopic structure of sound – thanks to complex sound synthesis and manipulation machines – and that of harmony and counterpoint, drawing on 20th-century avant-garde compositional such as dodecaphony and the microtonal system. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Al Tell | Alfonso N. Telcocci | From his obituary: Alfonso N. Telcocci (Al Tell), former Oklahoma City resident and Jazz musician, passed away in Denver, Colorado on November 11, 2006. He was born in Lodi, New Jersey on September 30, 1919. His father was a carpenter and his mother's family was in the nightclub business in Greenwich Village. He grew up with interests in construction and music. He honed his music skills by trying to emulate the artists of the time: Ellington, Basie and Goodman. Al Tell made his professional debut at the age of 14, as a summer resort (the Catskills) musician in New York. An early learning experience was working at a performing arts school in New York City. He'd begin with ballet music, switch into something for tap dancers, proceed to Broadway show tunes and could play in any key a singer desired. He made his radio debut on WNEW in New York City. He started the Alan Tell Quartet but with the onset of WWII, joined the US Army Air Force. He performed with the 721st Army Air Force band, and in typical military logic (because he had 'good hands'), was also assigned to bomb demolition duty. He married Jennie Grace Gnoffo in November of 1942. When his tour was up, he joined the Johnny Kaye Trio, a group which played the East Coast club scene. After two years of touring, he left his musical vocation for his other interest. He entered the New York School of Interior Design, received his degree and took a design job in Oklahoma City in 1948. Simultaneously, television made its first appearance in Oklahoma and Al found himself back in the music business, playing regularly on many of the early WKY-TV shows. His bands played all the local hot spots: Louie's 29 Club, The Branding Iron Country Club, Jack Sussy's Nomad Club, Diamond Jim's, The Chandelle and Juniors Supper Club. He was the regular pianist on the Tom Paxton Show, again on WKY-TV. Benny Goodman performed in Oklahoma City, heard him play and invited him to join his Canadian tour. Woody Herman listened to a song of his, liked it and recorded it. In the late 70's Al and his wife Jennie, moved to their favorite vacation spot, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Al formed a jazz trio that played the La Fonda, The Inn at Loretto and other Santa Fe hotels. He went back to his designing roots and built his adobe dream home in the hills north of Santa Fe. It was a showcase for the eclectic collection of art that he loved. Jennie passed away in 1983. In 1985, Al married Norma Torres Baca, a talented vocalist, and they performed together in Santa Fe until 1998. |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Blindfold Experience | The Blindfold Experience is a Musical Project with contributing artists from all over the world. The music is heavily inspired by rock and metal, although crossing many genres, and also features acoustic songs. Influences include bands and artists like Avenged Sevenfold, Queensrÿche and Dream Theater. The name Blindfold Experience was chosen because the performing musicians and vocalists never meet in most cases. We don’t even see each other; we’re just messaging each other and sending audio tracks across the world, adding our parts and sending them back. Completely Corona Safe, and we still create a musically inspiring environment, as each musician adds his or her own touch to the song. The musical journey starts in Sweden, from where the songs travel across the globe at a steady BPM to a dream team of hand-picked musicians and singers. The performing artists vary from song to song. To this date, we have performing artists, musicians, vocalists and mixing engineers from Sweden, the UK, the US, Argentina, Australia, Ecuador, Cyprus, Germany, Iceland, India, Italy, Poland and Ukraine. | |

In fact what makes their work special, and more resonant today than that of your typical sloganeering anarcho bleater, is their awareness of their own complicity in the things they despise, and all the self-loathing that comes with it. |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Jason Martinko Revue | Jason S. Martinko, born April 19, 1979, began writing songs & performing at a very early age. By the 1990s he had played countless solo performances in different bars, clubs, coffeehouses, street corners & other social events. In 1997, after graduating high school in Pittsburgh, Martinko went to Ocean City, Maryland with friend & bassist Nate Fitzgerald, born January 20, 1979. The two made a living playing together on the boardwalk nightly for tips. In time they made quite a name for themselves making headlines in several local newspapers & appearing in a TV commercial for an Ocean City bar. In 1998, they returned to Pittsburgh to record their first album entitled, “Soul Boy”. Martinko & Fitzgerald performed around Pennsylvania, Virginia & Maryland to promote the CD. In 1999, Martinko met drummer Jordan McMillen, born May 5, 1983. McMillen was in a blues band looking for a solo opening act. Martinko played a few solo shows opening up for the blues band. Eventually, Martinko, Fitzgerald & McMillen began to play shows as a three-piece band. In 2000, McMillen left his blues band & The Jason Martinko Revue was born. The band would perform in countless seedy bars & roadhouses over the next few years. They went through many musicians including lead guitarists, sax & trumpet players. The three-piece core stayed the same. They began to record a new album. In 2003, The Jason Martinko Revue released a self-titled album that would sell hundreds of copies. They appeared in many local Pittsburgh newspapers & on several TV commercials. In early 2003, the band also began to film a horror movie they had written as an attempt to better promote their band. The film, “Gone The Way Of Flesh” was finished in 2006 & is scheduled to be released by Troma Entertainment on DVD worldwide in early 2007. In 2004, Larry Tamburri, born September 19, 1958 & Joe Maryanski, born July 1, 1981 joined The JMR on trumpet & tenor sax. Their gritty, authentic rhythm’n’blues horn arrangements would complete The JMR sound. The band continued to play in bars & juke joints along the East Coast. In 2005, Nate Fitzgerald left The JMR & was temporarily replaced by Craig Bolton. With the original three-piece core broken, the band struggled to find a permanent replacement. Around this time, the band began playing several different strip clubs around Pittsburgh. With the hype of their name & movie, “Gone The Way Of Flesh” building up, they began to acquire many hardcore fans. In 2006, The Jason Martinko Revue began recording their next album which will be released on Bonedog Records. They recorded at the Mojo Boneyard Studio based out of McKeesport, PA. Craig Bolton played bass on the album, but would soon be replaced by Mike “Ollie” Osborne, born October 3, 1980. Steve Jacobs, born November 18, 1966 also replaced Joe Maryanski on tenor sax. The JMR started production on their second feature film, “Gone The Way Of Flesh II: Fresh Bloody Flesh”. Their production company is called, Cut’N’Run Productions. The Jason Martinko Revue continues to tour, promoting their one-of-a-kind style of rock’n’roll music that relates to people of all ages & colors. With their wide range of combined styles, no foot has gone untapped during any of their performances, yet their style has still gone unclassified. They truly are a category of their own. | |

Reviews: "...stylized playing where Eastern European melodies clash with energetic American-style spontaneity. The instrumental configuration is unique. Combining the accordion with electronics and placing them im the same arena with heavy back-beat drumming and free wheeling alto blowing results in a conglomeration that cannot be neatly slotted into a musical category......." | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Rose Land | Eric Apollinari | RoseLand, a one-man band from Annecy, in the french Alps, was born in 2005 with an eponymous home-made debut album. The first official album "Maladivine" was self-produced in late 2007. Thanks to the Myspace network, Maladivine drew the attention of various reviewers from webzines and fanzines (Obsküre, Brokendolls, Sentinels of Time, Mick Mercer Live Journal...). "Au Mont des Soupirs", released in early 2011, is a 14-track voyage within imaginary landscapes, personal dreams, melancholic memories... Produced by the french label Frozen Wing records, this album kept drawing attention of reviewers : it was selected among the top-thirty albums in 2011 by the english famous author and radio animator Mick Mercer, reviewed by the US website Heathen Harvest (rating 5/5) and in quite a few magazines and webzines in France, Europe and further. After two appearances in french compilations (in particular "D'Eux" from Fatal Object), a new album, "La Vie est Ailleurs", is released in spring 2015. This self-produced album has again received favorable reviews and interviews, especially from the well-known Obsküre magazine, the main french reference in dark music and culture (rating 76 % and selected as "independent of the trimester" in september 2015). The project name became in 2015 'RoseLand' in one word... Just a few quotes.. From the german website Naturmacht about RoseLand : "Dreamy and melancholic music from another world. RoseLand makes us explore wonderful landscapes created of piano parts, synths, strings and whispers. A journey beyond the eternal horizon..." From Heathen Harvest american website: "Imagine a vast world...sweeping vistas, misty mountains, and the view through a lens of perfected mind's eye. The sun greets the clouds of days long past, blending the darkness and light as one entity. True time has no hold here, for all is timeless. Close your eyes and see the days, the months, the years. See them in the eye of the mountains, see them in all their ageless allure. Now, put a soundtrack to your visions. Better yet, let Rose Land do it. It has been a long time since an album has affected me as such. I simply closed my eyes and tried to take all the beauty in at once. I couldn't" From Mick Mercer's Live Journal: "Rose Land's music is just sensitive beauty. Modest magnificence !" From the french magazine Obsküre "La Vie est Ailleurs, dont les intimes échos font quitter le temps" "Peu de choses et l'irradiation du beau..." |
