Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Raffaello Busoni | Raffaello "Lello" Busoni (1 February 1900, Berlin, Germany — 17 March 1962, New York, USA) was an Italian graphic artist, painter, books illustrator, and essayist. He was the second son of renowned composer and pianist [a=Ferruccio Busoni] (1866—1924), younger brother of Benvenuto "Benni" Busoni (1892—1976), and husband of [a=Hannah Busoni] (1907—1995). Despite his upbringing in Germany and his mother's Swedish descent, Raffaello always identified as Italian. From 1915 to 1920, when Busonis lived in Switzerland during the First World War, Lello was briefly trained in painting and etching/woodblock printing techniques; otherwise, the artist was primarily self-taught. Busoni's first wife, Hide Busoni, died from tuberculosis in 1930. Around five years later, Raffaello married [a=Hannah Busoni] née Apfel, Hide's former piano student and long-time family friend. In January 1935, they emigrated to Portugal; however, the Spanish Civil War that broke out shortly after forced Lello to return from Madeira to Berlin. Just three years later, the Busoni family had to flee Germany in the face of Nazi occupation since Hannah was of Jewish descent. They spent a few months in Sweden until, in October 1939, Lello Busoni permanently relocated to the United States. Name variations: often appears as Rafaello with one "F;" on [a=Eduard Steuermann]'s 1960 [m=1854861] LP by [l=Contemporary Records], misprinted as Nello. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Lauren Heintz | Lauren Nicole Heintz | Summerfield, Florida Award-winning singer/songwriter, and Gatorbone Recording Artist, Lauren Heintz, has quite a story to tell. She swam in volcanic calderas, water-skied gator-infested rivers, repaired U-2 spy planes near the Yellow Sea while in the USAF, and worked in the dot-com tech wars of Silicon Valley. Yet, what excites her most is stepping onto stages and playing her music. Lauren's musical roots were planted at the jam sessions of her Chicago-area childhood home. She grew up listening to her mother and father playing & singing their favorite country & western tunes. Her musical influences range from such greats as Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, and the Beatles. And she cites friend, mentor, and finger-style maestro, Jack Williams, for inspiring her to take her own finger-picking to higher levels and to also take her show on the road. Lauren has two albums to her credit. Her sophomore music project, Where I Belong, debuted on global folk radio as the #12 album. And her first album, Feels Like a Miracle, promptly sold out after being released and helping to establish her as a standout in the Florida folk scene. If her life was a novel, the songs on her two albums are the plot points of her story, the twists and turns of an edge walker. These albums capture many aspects of her search for survival and a sense of place and purpose. Lauren graduated from Eustis High School, Florida and immediately joined the USAF, then later received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (University of Maryland), then spent the next fifteen years as a Software Engineer before outing herself as a musician. Today, she lives in Central Florida. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Carl Moll | Carl Julius Rudolf Moll | Carl Julius Rudolf Moll (23 April 1861 – 12 April 1945) was an Austrian art nouveau painter active in Vienna at the start of the 20th century. He was one of the artists of the Vienna Secession who took inspiration from the pointillist techniques of French Impressionists. He was an early supporter of the Nazis and committed suicide as Soviet forces approached Vienna at the end of World War II. Moll was born in Vienna, Austria. He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He was a student of Christian Griepenkerl and of Emil Jakob Schindler (the father of Alma Mahler-Werfel née Schindler). After his teacher's 1892 death, Moll married Schindler's widow, Anna (née von Bergen); they had been lovers for some time. Moll was a founder-member of the Vienna Secession in 1897 and, in 1903 encouraged the use of the Belvedere Gallery to show exhibitions of modern Austrian art. In 1905 he, along with Gustav Klimt, left the Secession, although Moll continued to be involved with the exhibition of art in Vienna including the first exhibition in Vienna of the work of Vincent van Gogh (the second painting above the sideboard in his 1906 self-portrait is Van Gogh's Portrait of the Artist's Mother). His paintings are characterized by the use of pointillist techniques within a strict organization of the surface of the painting. He committed suicide by poison at the end of World War II, in Vienna, along with his daughter Maria and son-in-law Richard Eberstaller, a Viennese lawyer. All three had been early Nazi Party supporters. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sardineta | Band formed around 1977, with musicians from [a1990123] and [a3653187]. Their style was very close to early [a1235971], trying to perform a repertoire close to the people, reclaiming the streets performance and the spirit of popular romerias. The music of Sardineta was a blend of Catalonian rumba, salsa, pasodoble, cha-cha-cha, jotas, habaneras or rock, adding some theatrical manners and a libertarian attitude. After a single published in 1978, they've released a self-titled LP in 1979. They definitely disbanded in 1980. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Herman The Hermit | Clifford Herman Snyder | 1884-1964. Herman settled in Stockton, California and moved in 1922 to Burbank, where, amidst the first movie studios, he and his wife opened the 5 acre Snyder Nursery. With his several hound dogs in tow, he would go hunting in what was then a very rural area. Soon, with his growing contacts and friends in the film biz, he would rent out his hounds as “atmosphere dogs” for movies, often appearing with them as the appropriate background character (One source claims he appeared in 100 films). His unusual “big break” occurred during the filming of 1930’s “The Big Trail” (which featured John Wayne in his first leading role). After playing “Oh Suzanna” on his banjo for the film crew’s evening campfires during the three month location shoot, he was later asked by director Raoul Walsh to play it on the film score. When a popular KEHE radio show host/singer named Stuart Hamblen went to the movies one day and heard the banjo on the soundtrack, he tracked down and hired Snyder for his radio show band. Snyder happened to show up in the long hair and full beard that he had been asked to grow for his Big Trail “pioneer extra” role, whereupon Hamblen christened him “Herman the Hermit,” which immediately became his professional stage name for the remainder of his career. I wonder whether he ever longed to return to a short-haired, clean-shaven appearance – he certainly seems to have embraced the “hermit” character, with a joyous inviting smile in every photo he appears in. When Herman later got his bassist son – also named Clifford (G.) Snyder – a spot in Hamblen’s band, Hamblen nicknamed the lad “Cliffie Stonehead,” simply because he wanted to keep his dad’s “hermit” character intact! The younger Cliff would eventually shorten it to become “[a=Cliffie Stone]” for the remainder of his life. Grandfather of [a601671] and [a1193604]. |
