Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Harold L. Paulsen | February 21, 1917 – August 1, 2015 "Harold L. Paulsen, a well known insurance and investment representative, popular singer and speaker, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. He packed a lot into his 98 years of life. Harold joined the Army in 1941. Two years later, he was accepted to Officer Candidate School and received his commission as an Air Force Statistical Officer from Harvard School of Business Administration. He served with the 8th Air Force in England for 28 months and was discharged in December 1945 with the rank of Captain. Harold was devoted to his Lord and church. As a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where he was confirmed, he led the building of the new church as the building committee chair. There he served as Sunday School Superintendent for five years, provided his musical talent and “filled” the church pulpits on several occasions in the pastor’s absence. Those who have attended the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast since it started in the early 1960’s were treated to Harold’s speaking and singing. Harold did a lot for a lot of people, but will remembered most for his terrific singing. He also sang for most of the Montana Governors during his lifetime, commencing with Governor John E. Erickson. One of his most memorable highlights was as a soloist for the 8th Air Force Glee Club in the Nuremberg Opera House in Germany at the end of WWII. He once shared the stage with the late Norman Vincent Peale." from helenafuneralhome.com | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Bluemont Singers | The group began as the Bluemont Singers, a folk group created in 1962 at K-State by Dimmitt and three of his fraternity brothers, Dimmitt said. They performed for university and fraternity functions and other organizations in Manhattan and the surrounding area. They even won a spot on Ted Mack’s “The Original Amateur Hour,” appearing on national television Jan. 6, 1963. However, a bigger break for the group came that summer when the New Christy Minstrels recruited the regular folk group at the Castaways Lounge in Kansas City, Mo. (Gene Clark, who would later become part of the Byrds, was one of the singers the Christys recruited.) The Castaways, suddenly left without entertainment, hired the Bluemonts to play out the month, then occasionally on the weekends and the following summer. About the same time, Schlosser, a talented bass player, joined the Bluemonts while still in high school. A Kansas City record company recorded them for a live LP album, “The Bluemont Singers at the Castaways.” Another highlight of the summer of ’64, Dimmitt said, was when Connie Stevens, who performed at Starlight Theater, stopped by and sang a couple of songs with the Bluemonts nervously backing the star of “Hawaiian Eye.” The group continued to play the Castaways and the Vanguard Coffee House, also in Kansas City, through their college days, but disbanded as they pursued graduate school and careers. However, Dimmitt and Schlosser, both attorneys, continued to play together in other groups, such as the Kaw Valley Skillet Lickers, the Barristers and the Shyster Mountain Gang. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Band Of The Vintage Jazz Society Of Brisbane. | One of Australia’s best traditional jazz bands was formed in Brisbane in 1973 by saxophonist Andy Jenner (b. 12 July 1943, Cheshire, England). In March 1974 the band formed the Vintage Jazz Society of Brisbane and operated successfully at the Twelfth Night Theatre Club for six years. In 1981 the band opened their own jazz club, Jabbo’s, in Brisbane. The Vintage Jazz And Blues Band’s success peaked in the mid-80s when the essential line-up was Tich Bray (b. 22 December 1924, Geelong, Victoria, Australia, d. 1988) who replaced Jenner, John Braben, Mike Hawthorne, Bob Watson (drums), John Cox (banjo), and Paula Cox (vocals). The Vintage Jazz And Blues Band was one of Australia’s most durable groups in the traditional jazz genre. Performing classic early jazz and blues with feeling and authenticity, it was never less than inspiring and was often dynamic | |

While relying on synthetic instruments, [a5578795] creates an organic sound, as human as possible, without the desperate need for striking or blunt sounds. Tracks by [a5578795] feature large, open spaces, put into contrast with almost intimate atmospheres, always carrying the groove on to dance the night away. This philosophy is mirrored by [a5578795]s DJ sets which he proved in major clubs like Tresor.

| Search | Add | 2 | 'S Werelds Grootste Draaiorgel | The 'S Werelds Grootste Draaiorgel (the "World's Largest Fairground Organ") is an 89-key mechanical organ built circa 1905/07 by the renowned French manufacturer Gavioli et Cie at their German factory in Waldkirch, Baden-Württemberg. The instrument was owned by the late Jef Peeters (1929—2020) and his wife, Bep Peeters-Robbe (1932—2018), from Bergen op Zoom, North Brabant, in the southwestern Netherlands; current whereabouts unknown, presumably owned by their descendants. The "Grootste" Gavioli was featured on a series of 7" records released by Dutch label [l=Artone] between 1961 and 1964. Not to be confused with: 🇳🇱🇬🇧 ca.1890 "De Grote"/"The Great" 89-key Gavioli in York, England, 🇬🇧 1902 [a=The Great Gavioli Organ], ex-"Woolls Bros./Arthur Mills", owned by the Silcock family, or 🇬🇧 1903 [a=Mammoth Gavioli Fair Organ], ex-"White Bros.," in Southampton, Hampshire. The organ was manufactured between 1903 and 1908, in the period when Gavioli owned and operated their renowned Waldkirch workshop; after that, the slowly declining firm sold the factory to Limonaire Frères, their French competitors that later acquired the rest of insolvent company's assets. The early history and original owners of this Gavioli are unknown today. In the early 1930s, Dutch fairgrounds proprietor, Cornelis Peeters (1885—1964), purchased the Gavioli from Carl Frei Sr. (1884—1967), a renowned German organ builder who used to work for the French firm. In the early 1980s, the organ was restored and expanded to an 89-key action from its original 87-key mechanism. Eventually, his son Jef Peeters (1929—2020) inherited the "Grootste" Gavioli, initially operated at his Cakewalk and Luna Park attractions. After retiring, Jef Peeters sold both properties to Land van Ooit amusement park in the city of Drunen but kept the unique organ. Façade replacement In his report from T.H. de Voer's international organ festival in November 2002 in Ulvenhout, Idius Felix described the following story of the "Grootse" Gavioli's façade. In 1963, the instrument's original front was used on ca.1904 "de Leeuw" Gavioli 89-key organ, formerly owned by the Lions Club in Tiel and thus, nicknamed Leeuw ("Lion" in French). Today, it's preserved in the Draaiorgelmuseum collection in Haarlem. The Gavioli's "current" façade, as of January 2003 (presumably, based on the publication date), initially belonged to a different organ made by Gebrüder Bruder, resulting in the unique "Gavioli-Bruder" crossover. Both façades, reportedly, were constructed and painted by Josep Dopp (d. 1948). Meanwhile, Draaiorgelmuseum Haarlem's website describes "De Leeuw" Gavioli's decorative front as follows: "The elegant Baroque-style façade with five wooden statues was lost, unfortunately, and reconstructed by Belgium woodcarver Franky Vlaeminck, with only the center panel preserved from the original." | |

In the high school orchestra it was viola, violin and cello. The trio made their first music together in that orchestra learning the tiny but important differences between eighth notes and quarter notes, half steps and whole steps. A musical foundation, but one built with friendship. When orchestra let out, it was that friendship that found the gals sharing their common interest in popular rock bands Throwing Muses, The Breeders, PJ Harvey & Sonic Youth. The violins were set aside for electric guitars. Battle of Band cover contests were entered. And short lived yet creatively titled projects were put together under the names of Only in 3's and Boy Elroy. While enjoying the music, it seemed unrealistic to seek an audience outside of their small town. And, as friends, the girls parted and went on to see what else was out there for them to explore. In the winter of 2001, the trio of friends found themselves all taking refuge in the city of Minneapolis. Persuaded by friends and changing circumstances the women now, after many years found themselves living close to one another, and had the urge to try playing again. As winter turned to spring, the start of pop perfection began to develop over inspiring root beer floats, a weakness to everybody in the band. By summer they were playing their first shows at parties around town. August 2001 produced a three song demo recorded by good friends [a1218421] & [a1218420]. And by the time the leaves had fallen off the trees Melissa, Jennie & Amy had found drummer Jamie and with wings ready for flight Luke's Angels was formally christened. 2002 produced better shows, and a small but dedicated following that started to show Luke’s Angels was a band to take notice of. The combination of Amy and Jennie’s duo vocals mixed with Melissa's knack for dissonant lead guitar lines and Jamie's Wire-like drum progressions, presented Luke's Angels as a band with musical intent. An ultra mellow stage presence accented the fact the music was the reason this band was together. This wasn’t just another "girl fronted band," this was a group to listen to. By coincidence the Angels started working on their self-titled debut CD with producer [a281355]. Jennie recalls showing up to hip recording studio, [l702717], to begin recording only to find no engineer there. When Jacques checked in at the studio that day and found the Angels waiting in tow, he helpfully offered his assistance quickly to realize it was a match made in heaven. The recordings were underway. While working on the CD, a more defined and expressive presentation of the band finally took shape. "One Small Glimpse" opens up the CD lyrically with the announcement, "I see hidden worlds arise/With one small glimpse through your eyes," as if they were sirens beckoning a ship. "Mixing Words" has a quiet introduction that quickly propels into full-fledged fuzz. And with "Come on Over," shimmy-shimmy drumming and synched up "Doo-Do's" bookend the psychedelic power chords and head bobbing bass that makes hanging in the clouds with these Angels the best trip around. Luke's Angels are a Minneapolis band, but they are the sweethearts of St Paul. "[r32964657]" seeks to heal the long time divide between these rival cities with charm and chugging rock. After several childbirths, recording a couple of X-mas albums and some lineup shifts, the Angels settled on their current roster, which features founders Jennie Kalpin DDS, Melissa Kalpin MLS, Jennie's husband Josh Richardson (also of [a1188537] and Prairie Restorations Inc.) and legendary drummer [a1194332] ([a273943], [a1594765], [a3171956], [a792091], Hind Quarterly editor-in-chief.)

| Search | Add | 2 | The Concertina Spiral | Formed on the rugged shores of Inis Mór, the largest of Ireland’s Aran Islands, The Concertina Spiral craft music that feels as windswept and elemental as their homeland. Blending synthpop shimmer with post-punk introspection, flashes of folk melody, and the melodic tension of alternative rock, the trio channel both the melancholy of isolation and the defiant beauty of connection. Their songs oscillate between analogue warmth and digital pulse: this is music made for tide-washed evenings and neon nights alike. Fronted by Kieran Ó Callanáin (vocals, guitar, keyboards), alongside lifelong friend Eamon Flaherty (bass, piano, drums, programming) and the quietly magnetic Sorcha Ní Fhlannagáin (keyboards, violin, viola, cello, vocals), The Concertina Spiral are as much a meeting of temperaments as of sounds. Kieran and Eamon grew up inseparable on the island, bonding over imported Depeche Mode tapes while dodging the taunts of football-mad schoolmates. They met Sorcha at university in Galway, where her keen ear for arrangement, which she inherited from her mother, a minor but acclaimed playwright, rounded out their sonic world. | |
