Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | The Hazy Seas | The Hazy Seas are a Chicago four-piece indie rock band. The band met while attending school, where they self released "Evergreen/Kite Dodging". Drawing inspiration from 80's new wave, early 2000's NYC rock, and the dance punk of early acclaimed Foals, the four stuck to a do-it-yourself ethos by recording themselves in a coach house living room on cassette tape machines.

Search | Add | 2 | Bo Balderson | During the years 1968-1990, the pen-name Bo Balderson published eleven detective novels. The quality of the detective mysteries can be said to be average, but the easy and elegant style, the farcical action, the witty metafors and the wicked satire upon Swedish politics and cultural life resulted in great selling successes. Over the years, more than eighty different persons were pointed out as the author, but the identity of Balderson has never been revealed nor convincingly clarified. One of the main ideas has been that the author was a conservative person with some relation to Swedish politics or political administration. However, no thorough comparative analysis has ever been carried out wich sets out to relate Balderson's works to these of any other author.

Search | Add | 2 | Nicht vor den Kindern | In the spring of 2005, Hinrich Franck and Jörg Lehnardt - who have known each other for more than a decade through their work on film and theater projects as well as through joint music making in various bands - found a trio named: Nicht vor den Kindern Together with the drummer Heiko Braun they develop a style that miraculously mixes the classical organ or jazz piano trio with electronic to heavy metallic sounds. The repertoire from the All-American-Songbook becomes a direct further development of the "trio" in the popular entertainment music of the 21st century through Hinrich Franck's snappish German lyrics, 3-voice beat songs and campfire melodies. Search | Add | 2 | European Syndrome | Hans en Rudi Brussee started with this band in 1982. Antoinette, the girlfriend of Rudi did the vocals. Hans played guitar and vocals, Rudi played keyboards and synthesizer (Moog Prodigy) and programmed the drums (Roland 606) and played the bass wich he put on a cassette so they can play live. After 2 years they wanted a bass player so Bert van der Mark was invited to play. Than a drummer came (Pieter) and also a new vocalist. This was Liesbeth esselink who later became Solex. They played around in Leiden and Mike the Leeuw became a big fan of them. So when Liesbeth left the band they asked Mike to play with them. The drummer also left so they decided to play with a new drumcomputer, the Roland TR 707. This was the birth of Immortal.
