Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Bryon Adamson-Woods | Bryon Adamson | Bryon Adamson is a Scots-born multi-instrumentalist and artist, raised in the New Forest on the South coast of England. He played bass on all of the Restoration II material, additionally playing bass, keyboards and additional guitar on Revolution By Night's only full length release 1995's album "Breathe". He also played guitar, bass and piano on the band's cover version "Kingdom Come" which was released on the "Forevermore - A Tribute to The Mission" album in Germany. He co-composed every original Revolution By Night track, including the track "Selling Heaven" which was released on the "Dreams In The Witch House" compilation CD. When Revolution By Night progressed to a future-pop / electro / synth-pop format in 2000, he wrote mainly on keyboards and played keys live. In early live shows, he additionally played guitar, and for the band's live show at Leipzig's WGT (2000) he played entirely on guitar. Around the time of the release of the "Faithless" EP in 2003, Adamson dropped the double-barrelled surname. The band "rebranded" simply as "RBN" in 2006, and released the self-produced "Machine Code EP" in time for their UK tour with Swedish scene giants Covenant and Norway's Pride And Fall. Adamson also contributed co-lead vocals to RBN's remix of Straftanz's eponymous track, aptly named "Straftanz UK (featuring RBN)", which although not released officially, was made available on Straftaz's MySpace page and was performed live by RBN several times. It was also performed by both bands together twice in London. Adamson also did much of the work on remixes for other bands such System:FX, Reaper and Nachtmahr, credited as RBN. The exception to this was RBN's remix for Komor Kommando, on which he had no part and states that he was only aware of the project after it was completed. Adamson produced all the graphic material and logo design for all forms of the band up to, but not including, the official of the full-length album, "City Lights", which was released under the name of Stok:holm. In the months prior to the release of this album, the band and management took the decision to rename the band (in light of the more searchable Rock Band Network and advice from several European DJs in the scene). The decision was then taken to scrap Adamson's artwork and use different designers for the release artwork, which Adamson felt further increased problems with certain band personnel recognising his creative and organisational input to the band. Further, with the only live RBN date of 2011 having been performed after a single rehearsal, Adamson insisted that the only live date of 2013 for Stok:holm be cancelled, considering the band insufficiently prepared. However, with the band no longer on the bill, Stok:holm vocalist and DJ Steve Weeks kept the support slot and played a clearly pre-prepared electro-hard tech-noise set with a fellow DJ. With rehearsals not forthcoming and estrangement from other band members continuing to grow, Adamson decided to put his involvement with them on ice. He relocated to Scotland in early 2015, and at the time of this edit, no further music projects have been announced. The return of Stok:holm at some stage had seemed entirely possible until an attempt to reform the band without Adamson was attempted; something to which he strenuously objected. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Umbra Sum | Ed -Gómez | Umbra Sum is the solo project of Costa Rican-born musician Ed Sánchez-Gómez, now based in Evanston, Illinois. Emerging from a love/hate relationship with classical guitar studies at the University of Costa Rica, Umbra Sum began as a process of reconciliation with the instrument. After travels through Europe and Argentina (where he developed a deep appreciation for South American folk music), Sánchez-Gómez studied improvisation in Chicago and settled in Evanston. His debut album, "Aún no has demostrado nada" (Acuarela Discos, 2014), blended shoegaze, noise-pop, Beach Boys-style harmonies, and Latin American folk, earning positive reviews for its eclectic and atmospheric sound. After a decade-long hiatus marked by personal loss and the global pandemic, Umbra Sum returns with "Obras de misericordia" (Works of Mercy) (Acuarela Discos, 2026). This acoustic album shifts toward introspection and catharsis, incorporating charango, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, musical saw, piano, violin, viola, and cello, with influences from John Martyn, The Declining Winter, and the Elephant 6 Collective. Recorded in Evanston, IL and Peru, IN between 2022 and 2024, and mixed by Abel Hernández (Migala, El Hijo), it explores grief through organic, lo-fi hi-fi textures. The vinyl edition will be released as part of Record Store Day in Spain on April 18, 2026. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Minus. | Minus is a sign of the changing times... And their time is now. Minus will not be ignored. After spending the last couple years gigging endlessly throughout New England, the boys have developed a style all their own, best displayed on their new EP "Care Factor: Zero." Tracks like, "Idiot Me" and "Relapse" stand out as very well written tunes that play over and over again in your head. Minus's single, "First Stone Cast" has been receiving consistent college air-play and the band has been recognized by major radio stations as a front-runner in the area's music scene. Minus has shared the stage with many of the biggest metal bands to grace the East Coast. The list of bands reads like a major tour, with such names as Massachusetts's newest upstarts Reveille (Elektra), New York's hard-core kings, Biohazard (Mercury.) and OzzFest '99 performers like Drain STH (Mercury), Static X (Atlantic), and Puya (MCA). Minus has been described by C.M.J. Magazine as a ".post-apocalyptic groove-core motherf#@ker." and by The New Haven Advocate as ".melodically charged, intensely emotional hard-core." Minus's style appeals to a diverse crowd, as fans of all ages faithfully show their support. To say they take control of a crowd would be a harsh understatement. The energy that pours out of Minus is intense and has to be witnessed to truly be appreciated. Whether you like music that kicks your ass with immediate hard-core abandon, or trippy grooves that drench your mind like an infectious resin, Minus will deliver. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | FLIP 22 | Taunton, MA Rap Metal Band. In February of 1999 sounds from the 22nd cypher began to emerge from five experienced musicians who are currently redefining the combination of rock and hip-hop. A tribe was formed and its members include: J-Maze, Matty, Shane V., D.C. and Ross One. Former Eastcide bass player, Shane V., sought out hip-hop recording artist and former Head Check vocalist J-Maze. It was evident that his lyrical skills and melodic flow stylings would shine behind the individual musical talents of Shane, as well as former Head Check members, Matty, D.C., and Ross One. Through non-stop practice and dedication, the newly formed band found themselves writing and recording a three song promotional CD in a remarkable three weeks. When the disc was released it successfully joined the local rock and hip-hop scene. In addition to the positive reaction from Flip 22's growing fan base, all five hundred copies were sold in less time than it took to record it. As the band relentlessly pushed forward they caught the attention of several local radio programs. Flip earned the opportunity to perform for 107.3 WAAF's Real Rock T.V. Shortly after, Flip 22 released the highly anticipated full-length album Anotha Level, out on Linoleum Records. The album "delivers a dynamic and aggressive 10-track trip on a debut that defies categorization and piques interest at every turn," (Boston Herald, Nov 2, 2001 pg s22). Now that Anotha Level has been released and is on its way up, Flip 22 will head back to the studio in late December to begin work on their follow-up album, Northern Lights. The band is currently tearing up all of New England and receiving exceptional reviews from an extremely diversified audience. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Musicus Bortnianskii | Musicus Bortnianskii is a chamber choir founded in 1981 by Artistic Director and Conductor Myron Maksymiw to perform and promote the works of Ukrainian and East European composers of music for chorus and orchestra. The repertoire of Musicus Bortnianskii ranges from early Renaissance to Classical and 20th century music. Moving with ease among all these periods, Musicus Bortnianskii unveils the untapped wealth of music of Ukraine for the last five hundred years. Works by Dmytro Bortniansky (1751 -1825) and his contemporaries, Maksym Berezowsky (1745 -1777) and Artem Vedel (1767-1808) form the core of the choirs' programme. The works of Western composers like Sarti and Galuppi who worked in Eastern Europe are also part of Musicus Bortnianskii repertoire. Musicus Bortnianskii has been and is actively involved in music search and research, of previously lost or forgotten compositions of Ukraine, and to date has perhaps the most complete collection of early Ukrainian music (Partesni Konzerty, works by Bortniansky, Vedel, Maksym Berezowsky and others). Musicus Bortnianskii has performed in Toronto and its vicinity, and in the USA for the Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine. It has broadcast on CBC National Radio and Television, and most recently on BBC Radio 3. Musicus Bortnianskii has eleven recordings to its credit. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Thrush Holmes | Thrush Holmes is an artist based in Toronto, entirely self-taught in painting and mixed media. His work is spontaneous and experimental, spanning imagery from reclining nudes, matisse-like flowers, and poetic landscapes that contrast with a punk sensibility. Holmes’ paintings are made contemporary by their varied and inventive use of materials (spray paint, neon light, driveway sealant and oil stick), which elevate an aggressive exploration of romance and mythology. Holmes previous solo exhibitions include PULSE MIAMI courtesy of BEERS, London (2016) Heavy Panting and More at the Mike Weiss Gallery, New York (2014); VOLTA NY courtesy of Mike Weiss Gallery, New York; and group exhibitions such as What’s Up 2.0 curated by Lawrence Van Hagen, BEERS London (2016). His work is found in permanent collections worldwide including the Elton John Aids Foundation, Sony Music, Dreamworks Studio, and Def Jam Records among others. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Bertrand Binet | French guitarist born 1955 in Belle île en mer (Morbihan, France). Brother of [a=Emmanuel Binet]. He started playing the guitar at an early age, and with his younger brother Emmanuel they formed the groups 'Everlasting', and 'Cisum' and played in Brittany during the 1970s. Bertrand also worked in ballroom orchestras from the age of 15 and this, for ten years to earn a living. In 1980, at the age of 25, he decided to leave Rennes where he had lived for seven years and moved to Paris. In Paris, he played with pianists Mico Nissim and François Couturier, saxophonist Philippe Delettrez, double bassist Jean-Paul Céléa, drummer François Laizeau, music inspired by jazz and modal music. He played in the group of the three Kabyle sisters "Djurdjura", and with the "text" singers Romain Didier or Jean Guidoni, with the progressive folk group "Gwendal", the jazz violinist fusion Patrick Tillman, the drummer Xavier Jouvelet, accomplice of organist Emmanuel Bex and his afro-jazz music… In 1981 and 82, he recorded and played with the group “Sax Pustuls”, but this one unfortunately dissolved quite quickly. It is his meeting with artists from the theater that will be decisive for the rest of his career as a nomadic musician. He became actor, musician and composer for many theater groups and shows. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | 大凶風呂敷 | 大凶風呂敷 | 大凶風呂敷 (‘daiKYo,furo shIKI) is a brainbending collaboration between Tamio Shiraishi and Cammisa Buerhaus that fuses handmade sound, free noise, and guttural blooms of tone poetry. Buerhaus plays her self built wood organ, half sculpture, half hallucinatory drone machine. Actress, label head, and artist, she approaches music and performance hermeneutically. Shirashi was a central figure in the Club Minor scene in Japan, jammed in Taco and A-Musik, helped form Fushitsusha, and has released numerous works of site specific saxophone playing. His style is some of the most atom splitting minimalism to ever locate your body in space. Thus, the sound of 大凶風呂敷 is a tense drama whose nerve chilling lines literally encodes the space for terrifying truths to appear all around you. Past players include K-Mical-Mico, Keith Connolly, Tara Fenamore, Greem Jellyfish, SADAF, Gozo Yoshimasu, Michiru Inoue. |
