Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | HEDONIKA | Origin: Poznan, wielkopolskie, Poland Genres: rock, blues, alternative Years active: 2013 - Final lineup: Wojtek Badowski - lead vocals; Kamil Słodkiewicz - guitars; Jacek Chlebowski - bass; Krzysztof Płóciennik - sampler, trumpet; Piotr Marcinkowski - drums Hedonika is a musical and theatrical narrative that combines real stories. Something we know from autopsy, something our friends say something that listeners come to us with. From these stories we create an image of our way of life, our relationships with other people, priorities and aspirations. We do not change the world. We simply report, giving rise to a discussion about a man. In Hedonika's musical tales, as important as WORD, MUSIC and INTERPRETATION, is DIALOG with listeners. We know that each meeting brings with it a great value of interaction. We all use this wealth, and Hedonika's concerts usually become an original, unique, engaging and inspiring CONVERSATION. That is why we are the most pleased to appear in places conducive to close contact with listeners and viewers. Theater scenes, small clubs, atmospheric landscapes and even home performances for a small audience - each performance is a new experience for us, another part of the narrative puzzle. Hedonica's music derives directly from the mainstream of the author's song. Thanks to the multitude of inspirations and the flammable mix of musical tastes of the band's members, subsequent compositions are also surprising for the creators themselves. The founder of the band and its leader, as well as the author of most of the compositions, is Wojtek Badowski (vocal). The musicians - Kamil Słodkiewicz (guitar), Jacek Chlebowski (bass), Piotr Marcinkowski (drums) and Krzysztof Płóciennik (sampler) - are actively involved in the creation of the musical and theatrical spectacle.

Search | Add | 3 | Shantykoor De Headammers | Back to the atmosphere of the nostalgic sailor life, that is the intended goal of Shantykoor “De Headammers”. This choir was founded in 1989 and is part of “Water sports association St. Nicolaasga”. The choir consists of a number of basses and tenors and is accompanied by a few accordionists. Two- or polyphonic songs are alternated by songs with solo singing (shantyman) and follow-up singing (the proper shantys). Most songs are sung in German, English and Dutch or in Pidgin-English a mixture of several languages. You will be transported back a hundred, two hundred years to the heyday of sailing with clippers and schooners and to harbor districts all over the world. During the day it was very busy there and at night the sailors wasted their hard-earned money in a short time. The crews consisted of tough tough guys from all over the world, who were recruited in the harbor bars. This is how rhythmic work songs, “shanties”, and cheerful or melancholic songs for leisure time, “forbitters”, were created, the musical ingredients of the adventurous but hard seaman's life.

Search | Add | 3 | Al Tell | Alfonso N. Telcocci | From his obituary: Alfonso N. Telcocci (Al Tell), former Oklahoma City resident and Jazz musician, passed away in Denver, Colorado on November 11, 2006. He was born in Lodi, New Jersey on September 30, 1919. His father was a carpenter and his mother's family was in the nightclub business in Greenwich Village. He grew up with interests in construction and music. He honed his music skills by trying to emulate the artists of the time: Ellington, Basie and Goodman. Al Tell made his professional debut at the age of 14, as a summer resort (the Catskills) musician in New York. An early learning experience was working at a performing arts school in New York City. He'd begin with ballet music, switch into something for tap dancers, proceed to Broadway show tunes and could play in any key a singer desired. He made his radio debut on WNEW in New York City. He started the Alan Tell Quartet but with the onset of WWII, joined the US Army Air Force. He performed with the 721st Army Air Force band, and in typical military logic (because he had 'good hands'), was also assigned to bomb demolition duty. He married Jennie Grace Gnoffo in November of 1942. When his tour was up, he joined the Johnny Kaye Trio, a group which played the East Coast club scene. After two years of touring, he left his musical vocation for his other interest. He entered the New York School of Interior Design, received his degree and took a design job in Oklahoma City in 1948. Simultaneously, television made its first appearance in Oklahoma and Al found himself back in the music business, playing regularly on many of the early WKY-TV shows. His bands played all the local hot spots: Louie's 29 Club, The Branding Iron Country Club, Jack Sussy's Nomad Club, Diamond Jim's, The Chandelle and Juniors Supper Club. He was the regular pianist on the Tom Paxton Show, again on WKY-TV. Benny Goodman performed in Oklahoma City, heard him play and invited him to join his Canadian tour. Woody Herman listened to a song of his, liked it and recorded it. In the late 70's Al and his wife Jennie, moved to their favorite vacation spot, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Al formed a jazz trio that played the La Fonda, The Inn at Loretto and other Santa Fe hotels. He went back to his designing roots and built his adobe dream home in the hills north of Santa Fe. It was a showcase for the eclectic collection of art that he loved. Jennie passed away in 1983. In 1985, Al married Norma Torres Baca, a talented vocalist, and they performed together in Santa Fe until 1998. |

He and his wife Dee Drennon, split off from her family's Branson revue (The Presley Mountain Music Jamboree) and started their own venue in the early 1970s, the Crossroads Auditorium in Nixa, Missouri, near Springfield. A few years later, in 1975 they pulled up stakes again and moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where they opened a 900-seat venue called the Pine Mountain Jamboree. The Drennons ran Pine Mountain as a family business for over thirty years, eventually selling it to a fellow Bransonite, Mike Bishop, in 2006.
