Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Terry Pazmiño | Classic concertist born in Quito, Ecuador. Pazmiño belongs to a generation of composers and virtuousos who demystified the European influences and rediscovered popular music from Latin America. The work of Pazmiño is the result of a constant search of his roots, enriched with frequent tours around the world; and it has progressively become an approach to the indigenous sources, and it gives a great variety of tendencies. In his youth, he dominated the forms of the Ecuadorian popular music, such as the sanjuanito, pasillo, capishca and yumbo. Subsequently, he traveled to Venezuela and France to study with three masters of the instrument: Antonio Lauro, Alirio Diaz and Alberto Ponce. For nine years he lived and studied in Sydney, Australia, where he achieved a "Honours Masters" degree from the university of Western Sydney; there he disclosed the South American folk music. Many of his compositions are derived from andean Quichua and Latin American music. Pazmiño has biult a singular repertoire based on the urban popular music, capturing the magical realism of the daily life. He has offered recitals and concerts in the greatest rooms of 42 countries, including the "Sydney Opera House" and the "Carnegie Hall" of New York, sharing a work that gives power, originality, magic, simplicity, enchantment and freshness, all from one guitar. The critics say "... as in music everything has been told, Terry re-tells the same stories, but in a different way ". From his extensive musical production, several pieces deserve special distinction: the composition "Cantata to November 15th of 1922", Booklet "20 harmonizations of Ecuadorian music for guitar", 15 books of "Ecuadorian music for duets, trios and guitar soloists", the "Treasures of Music" collection, "Songs for a New World", and "Concert of the Andes". He has produced 10 cassettes and 4 compact discs, with arrangements and compositions that has become the most faithful testimony of his work. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Introspektivet | INTROSPEKTIVET northern Swedish melancholy meet the backstreets of Berlin. After 2 singles and a video during the winter and spring 2020 the time has come for INTROSPEKTIVET to release the full lenght solodebut after years fronting the band [a5945207] (Stars Of The Silverscreen) that toured Germany and Europe. The 12 songs on the album is a journey past broken souls, victims of the capitalistic society. Seduction like poison, a longing for some light in all the darkness. Musically voices has described INTROSPEKTIVET to have roots in Swedish music history where you can sense bands like Thåström, Imperiet and sometimes Freddie Wadling mixed down with flavours of Joe Strummer and Nick Cave, creating a unique taste. A taste where the focus is on the curiosity to explore different soundscapes in music and with lyrics that feels like poetry in a way, more than your classic rocklyric. Where thoughts may be thought clearly and get more room than what fit in on Twitter. Yet, the core is always the nerve of PUNK, a state of melancholy and catching the beauty in the little things. So welcome to an introvert's reflections of our present | |

| Search | Add | 2 | KastningSiegfried | The KastningSiegfried Duet Project was formed in 1990, and is an ongoing artistic collaborative between [a4968562] and Siegfried, a guitarist and composer based in Portland, Maine. The KastningSiegfried compositions are written in open score, but are performed and recorded by us for acoustic guitar duets. Compositionally, the works fall into one of three basic categories: pieces composed by Siegfried, pieces composed by me, and pieces collaborated upon and composed by us both. The music defies easy categorization. Instrumentation consists of Siegfried on acoustic 6-string guitar, and me on 6- and 12-string acoustic guitars, extended baritone guitar, 12-string extended baritone guitar, classical guitar, fretless classical guitar, and mandolin. The Binary Forms pieces tend to be extended compositions. The Binary Forms series (currently a set of 11 compositions) employ a compositional technique wherein one of us will compose one voice (the score being laid out in a two-voice system), either Voice I or Voice II. The completed single-voice score is given to the other person, who then composes the part of the unfinished voice. Usually, no predetermined guidelines have been specified for the unfinished voice, but there have been pieces wherein the first person has specified certain harmonic or structural elements as a kind of palette for the second person to use when composing their part. This compositional method has produced some very unique pieces. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mad Roach | In 1987-1988, Matthieu Lambert (bass/vocals) and François Nankivell (drums) played in the punk/hardcore band PRIMITIVE PSYCHE. After its dissolution, they developed the MadRoach, searching for the ideal guitarist. On September 1989, they met Luc Mercure and MadRoach was born. After 10 months of work, they released "The Quest For Power" (July 1990), introducing a post-apocalyptic world where “The Human” battles hordes of mutant insects. In 1991, they released "Afterwards…", set 100 years later, where the last human, kept artificially alive, suffers experiments by mad insectoid scientists. With positive reviews, they performed across Québec, reaching fans worldwide through tape-trading. They planned "Revelations" to conclude the trilogy, depicting “The Human’s” final moments and mystical delusions. However, musical differences emerged amid the rise of death metal and grunge. On the eve of recording, the band split in September 1993. Revelations was never completed, though some rehearsal recordings remain. The members stayed on good terms and later pursued other musical projects. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Christ Ebons Contemporary Singers | [a=The Christ Ebons Contemporary Singers] were first organized in 1971 as an extra curricular activity group at Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. In 1972, [a=Robert L. Taylor (2)], head of the Vocal Music Department and organizer of the group, reorganized the Ebons under the name of Mixed Chorus II (as "Ebons" taken from the word "Ebony" could not be used in the public school system). The Ebons were invited to participate in the Midwest Gospel Festival in Wichita, Kansas where they were awarded first place as the best gospel ensemble in the Midwest Region. The group disbanded following the 1973 school year and the departure of Mr. Taylor due to him accepting a teaching position at the University of Missouri- Kansas City's Conservatory of Music. In 1974, former members of the 'high school' Ebons, Diane Redic and Carol (Patterson) McCracken met with Mr. Taylor about reorganizing the group. The original members of the Ebons, then out of high school, were joined by other members of the Kansas / Missouri areas to re-organize the Ebon Contemporary Singers, as an independent group. The Christ Ebons recorded two albums. With the proceeds from the first album 1979's "Perfect Peace", the group opened an educational center called The Blue Hills Youth Project. The second album "Relax in Jesus" was released in 1984. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Trip9 | Guitar and bass, alternative/grunge/rock with soulful vocals that at times flashes back to the masters of the 90's, yet with modern diversities. Trip9 has answered their debut Desolation, with an aggressive, long awaited follow up album. Against is full of Trip9's signature style and sound, but with more creative, and musical diversity. The mix is in your face heavy, and the songs create a place that only Trip9 know's the directions to.
