Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Figi | Vijay Auke Weemhoff | Dutch electronic music producer Figi (Vijay Weemhoff) is continuously crafting his own sound. After finishing his studies in Music & Technology, he has been focussing on making tracks full of life, grit and groove. By playing classic analogue synths and sometimes recording musicians to perform the parts he composes he’s trying to get the ideas he hears in his head out there for you to listen to. Since his debut release “2099” on Amsterdam based label Magnetron Music he’s been working on many projects including his liveshow (with band and solo), debut album, forthcoming collaboration EP’s and productions for various artists. Also being remixed by Seth Troxler, Tom Trago, Guti & David Gtronic for the EP Figi & San Proper - "A Place For Love". As a DJ, Figi plays only for the dancers and likes to mix various styles like: (Italo/Boogie/Space) Disco, (Detroit/The Hague) Techno/Electro, New Wave & Jazz. Blending this together with his own new demo’s, exclusive edits and releases into super energetic, futuristic and eclectic mixes. |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Getarounds | The Getarounds | the getarounds is a new musical group that was started by dan dresser and gaelynn lea during the dark winter months of 2012, more or less by accident. it's not that either party was lacking musical endeavors in their lives, after all. dan played for many years with the brushstrokes and, later, three song sunday. he also played shows as a lone wolf from time to time. meanwhile, gaelynn was up to her eyeballs in music with snöbarn and the murder of crows. but the first time dan & gaelynn played together, they knew they'd hit a nerve of sorts. so, trying to keep sane, they told themselves that they were just gonna do one show for fun, because, seriously, does duluth really need another band? but after that show, people started asking questions. like, when is your next show? and, when are you going to record together? so then dan and gaelynn had some musical reevaluating to do. dan and gaelynn decided that maybe they actually would record a few songs later in the spring. and, heck, if they were going to record, they might as well start a band so they could sell their new ep/cd/whatever-it-was at shows. and heck, every band needs a name at some point... so approximately 2 months and 5 shows later, the getarounds were officially born. their music is heavily influenced by dan dresser, as he wrote it. but it's what dan and gaelynn both bring to the table as musicians that make their shows especially fun to hear live. they've been told that their voices blend better than one would ever expect... that the combination is actually pretty magical in the proper moment. dan's skilled songwriting gives room for lots of emotion and varied dynamics; it is the perfect musical style for embellishment and support from the violin. also, they are great friends who don't mind being weirdos at shows if they feel like it, so they've been told that their stage banter is quite entertaining. the getarounds are booking shows in duluth/superior for the summer and fall of 2013, and recently released a 6-song ep that is available for download at their bandcamp page... it costs a mere $7! The money raised from selling their ep will go towards recording a full-length, studio album at the hideaway studio in minneapolis later this fall. they plan to invite lots of their dearest friends to contribute their musical talents to this recording project, so prepare for the unexpected! if you have any questions about the getarounds or would like them to come play music for you (at your bar or in your living room), please email dan and gaelynn at getarounds@gmail.com. you can also find them on facebook, of course! |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Runawayz | Formed in 2015 by 17 year old Joe Newbon (Guitar & Lead Vocals) and Curt Jones (Drums) along with original Upright Bassist Jake Needham. The band started out playing covers of Rock n Roll and Rockabilly tracks, and eventually incorporated some original material. Sam French replaced Jake Needham in 2016 and the band remained popular on the Rock n Roll circuit for a few years. A few more lineup changes and eventually Joe was the only original member of the group and decided to split. After the COVID pandemic, Joe started to reform a lineup of The Runawayz which eventually settled back with Curt (original drummer) and Peter Lawson who did a spell with the band previously, and also plays with Joe in King Joe & The Atlantics. The band still play a lot of Rockabilly events and are well known for a wide knowledge and capability of playing various style of Rock n Roll related music, and even get booked to perform at venues like The Cavern Club in Liverpool where they cater for an audience that appreciates the early Merseybeat and British Rock n Roll sounds. The band still perform (as of writing this in 2024) but only as and when they are available due to being involved in other projects such as King Joe & The Atlantics, Toto & The Raw Deals, Emilio Santoro & The Creoles etc... | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Jayson Butera | Jason Butera | Orlando native Jayson Butera established himself in the Underground Dance scene by mixing a variety of Progressive House, Trance and Nu Skool Breaks. Jayson career began in the mid 90’s by working at local record shop in Orlando. From that point his love for electronic music progressed and turned into a deep rooted obsession. After receiving his first residency at Daytona nightclub Sol-Rays in early ‘98, it seemed like it wasn’t much longer before he found himself playing just about every nightclub in Central Florida. Around this time, he met up with DJ Trancelott of Trancedomain.com, a weekly internet DJ Broadcast featuring DJ’s from around the globe. He soon became a resident of the show, and went on to play alongside Trancelott for many guest spots throughout Florida and the US. By 2000, Jayson began his first Orlando residency at the legendary Club @ Firestone. With this new success, he joined forces with 720e and their weekly show, Kompression. Here, playing alongside moguls such as Vicious Vic, Noel Sanger, Chris Fortier, DJ Trancelott, and many others, where he established his own style and sound. By New Years Eve 2001, Jayson marked another career milestone in the International spotlight as he played Calgary, Canada. Soon after returning, he headlined one of the biggest parties of his DJ career in Panama City, Panama. On his return to the United States, he continued to progress his Orlando residency and has had local radio appearances on 93.9 Dance and 91.5 WPRK. His resume includes several internet radio stations from Breaks FM to Pulse Radio, Bijou Breaks, Eccentric Beats and more. In late 2005, Jayson competed in John Digweed and Future Music’s “The Next Big Thing” DJ contest, in which Jayson was a top finalist. He also received a top 3 finish in Mercury Server’s first annual DJ competition. From there, He, with the help of Mercury Session, founded his own featured radio show called “Beyond Boundaries”, airing every other Friday at 4:00 pm EST on NSB Radio and Digital Intelligence on Digitally Imported every other Tuesday at 12:00 PM EST. These days Jayson Butera occupies a DJ residency at Suite B in Downtown Orlando and other guest spots. He continues to move Orlando with his dark Progressive House, Trance and Progressive Breaks. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Eli Chalmer | Eli Chalmer | Eli Chalmer is a freelance trombonist, band-leader, electronic musician, and composer, based out of Brooklyn, New York. Born and raised in Vermont, he fell in love with the trombone when he was 10 years old, after he saw that it was the only brass instrument “without buttons”. His talent was nurtured by the art-friendly Green Mountain State, where he became a soloist and principal trombone in the Vermont Youth Orchestra, and won the All-State scholarship competition for Classical, Jazz, and Composition all in the same year. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Orchestral Trombone Performance from McGill University, studying under the Montreal Symphony Orchestra’s principal trombonist, James Box. Of his many classical performances, he has played with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, the Empire State Sinfonia, the New York Theater Workshop, and Lyric Theater Company. Alongside his training in classical music, he has easily segued into a wide variety of genres, including Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Pop, Musical Theater, Indie Rock, and Electronica. In the studio, he has recorded on tracks that feature such notable artists as Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Talib Kweli, Melanie Fiona, Vernon Reid, and Anais Mitchell. On stage he has performed across the US, Canada, Europe, and the UK, and alongside artists such as Mike Clarke, Anais Mitchell, Everett Bradley, Arturo O'Farrill Latin Jazz Orchestra, Rachel York, Sean Hayes, Tao Nguyen, Deekline, Slavic Soul Party, and High and Mighty Brass Band. In addition to studio and freelance trombone work, he is also an accomplished band-leader. His Montreal-based Nu-Jazz group, Panacea, toured across Canada and the United States, and also was featured on radio and print in Europe. Currently, he leads the Brooklyn-based Electro-Jazz outfit Durians. Durians has released three albums, was just signed to international record label Bit Normal Records in May, 2016, and has performed a tour of UK and Europe in June, 2016. His playing has been described by the press as follows: -"After two minutes at a feverish level, Chalmer floats in with a caressing freefall of smooth swells from his trombone... When they explode into these funkadelic trips, Chalmer's brass trombone sweats and his ballooned cheeks squeeze into the bristling four-way encounters of strings, skins, brass, and keys." - The Concordia, Montreal, Canada -"Every band member perceptibly felt the music he created" - McGill Tribune, Montreal, Canada -"Eli Chalmer coaxes round, warm tones... ...crystalline chimes dance against a swelling backdrop of synth, pirouetting with Chalmer's lithe trombone. It's a soothing sonic bubble bath, Epsom salts for the ears." - Seven Days, Burlington, VT |
