Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Peter C. Newman | Peta Karel Neuman | Canadian journalist and writer. Born on May 10, 1929, in Vienna, Austria. Died on Sept. 7, 2023 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Peter C. Newman was a journalist and historian who wrote about the political and business elites of Canada, his adopted country. He was born in Vienna and escaped Nazi persecution with his family in 1938. He arrived in Canada in 1940 and became a British subject in 1945. He started his career as a reporter for The Financial Post and later became the editor of The Toronto Star and Maclean’s magazine. He transformed Maclean’s from a monthly to a weekly publication and made it a influential voice in Canadian affairs. He also authored nearly three dozen books, covering topics such as Canadian prime ministers, the Bronfman liquor dynasty, the Hudson’s Bay Company, and the media mogul Conrad Black. He was known for his muckraking style and his nationalist perspective. He often criticized the political and corporate establishment for being out of touch with the country. He received many honors for his work, including the Companion of the Order of Canada in 1990 and the Canadian Forces' Decoration. |

Search | Add | 2 | Ilana Bar Rashi | Ilana Evelyn Gittler Bar Rashi is a musician, artist, DJ and producer originally from Massachusetts, USA. Surrounded by virtuoso jazz musicians, Ilana grew up with a natural passion for art and music. She was part of several bands as a guitarist and drummer and later on delved into sound design, where she found the ability to express herself in a deeper and more complex way. After being exposed to the unique healing effects of dancing in a trance state, Ilana dedicated her musical work for bringing that experience to the audience. Since 2011 Ilana has been performing at Psytrance events around the globe and releasing music under her middle name Evelyn. In 2019, Evelyn’s track "True Freedom" was played at the opening of the historic protest for cultural freedom in Tel Aviv, where over 50k people came to fight for their rights. The track wasn’t officially released but is available on YouTube together with powerful footage from the protest. In 2021 Eternal064 was established, a record label and home to other works of art, with a main focus of encouraging a stronger connection between human and earth, and to one another. Evelyn produces all of her music in A=432hz, a tuning that naturally resonates with natures frequencies.

Search | Add | 2 | Monkeeastronaut | Riccardo Occhionero | Monkeeastronaut is a solo project of the Italian musician Riccardo Occhionero. The purpose is to bring an experimental mixture of soundscapes trying to evoke for the listener a sense of bewilderment, fear and astonishment, just like a monkey could feel travelling through space. Basically it's an attempt to explore how human curiosity and arrogance can generate forms of evil that are against the nature of things, using innocent living forms as oblivious witnesses of the utopistic reach of a knowledge that is far beyond the present step in evolution. Oh and there's some random improvisation as well. "Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death." Planet Of The Apes - 1968. |

Search | Add | 2 | غرام | Gharam Alareeny = غرام العويني | Gharam (Arabic: غرام العويني) is a Jordanian singer, model and actress. Gharam refuses to say her real name, and thus stated to her fans that her artistic name reflects her and there is no need to know her real name. Gharam has been crowned as the most beautiful Jordanian singer, by Sawsan Al Sayyed in her program “Malikat” on Hiya TV. She has been appreciated for her work and the difficult times she has encountered with the Arabic media, and especially the Jordanian public views. Gharam has shot a video clip for her song “Saddikni” and it was banned to be broadcasted for political reasons. The video clip included hot scenes and sexy shows of girls who danced in the mud and at the same time views from the devastating war that has been prevailing in the Arab countries for years. Many people resembled Gharam by the famous Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe. However Gharam refuses this resemblance, and stated that she is much younger than Haifa and each has her own style. As for accusing her of imitating Dana’s video clips, this has also created rumors in the media. Finally, Gharam and her fight with the Jordanian public, led her to declare that she quit being too expressive and will focus on art and music professionally. Gharam cannot break the Jordanian traditions on her own, and gets disappointed when she sees that the Jordanian public accepts Lebanese artists as they are and complain about Jordanian singers. The day will come when the Jordanian singer will prove to her country Jordan that through her music and style, she will succeed more than anyone else. |

Search | Add | 2 | J.Kendall | J. Kendall, a self-taught musician, singer, songwriter and producer got his start in a Chicago church where he began playing bass guitar at the age of 15. While attending college (studying engineering), he began to play and be exposed many other types of music including jazz and rock. After graduating he began working as a computer programmer. Not getting a sense of fulfillment from the programming job, he began to save money to make a move into the music business. After a year of planning, J. Kendall gave 2 weeks notice and began to work part time as a personal trainer so he could spend the bulk of his time recording the album 'Make Your Move'. 'That's what the title song is all about. Doing what you feel in your heart even when it goes against the grain. There were people who didn't believe I could/should do it. I decided to focus on what makes me happy. This is one of the ideas I hope to convey with this album. ' J. Kendall has done just that while also creating a work that combines the many musical styles that have influenced him. Melodic ballads, cool instrumentals and funky mid-tempo tunes. This album has it all.
