Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

We paint strange soundscapes to somewhat weird lyrics: Outo Eno (Uncle Oddie) is about the childrens' favourite relative who is scorned by the all the aunties and who's destiny involves a large redshift. Alhaisia Vaistoja & Korkeampaa Matematiikkaa (Lowest Instincts & Higher Mathematics) tells about a fringe-scientific experiment gone awry. Musta Rusina (Black Raisin) is the gloomy story of the great critic Seppo Sävel and his creator, Harri Pystynen. You needn't be a physicist to appreciate the lyrics, but it helps. Rakkaus ruostuu (Love Rusts) is a melancholy song about letting go of things and drifting apart. Suuri Tiedemies Jotuni (The Great Scientist Sagan), by Tommi UJO, pays homage to a childhood idol. For you English-speaking people, Carl Sagan might be the closest equivalent. Kevyt Linja (Life LightTM), also by Tommi UJO, gives the finger to the "LightTM" trend in everything imaginable nowadays. Juuso Kilpeläinen makes an Extra LightTM appearance at the percussions. Thoughts LightTM, anyone? Unelma (Dream), sung by Anna, is a beautiful waltz by the famous American-Finnish songwriter and performer William Syrjälä, who originally recorded it with Viola Turpeinen in the late 1930's. To tip our hats to the American-Finnish community, we put a lot of country influence into this, and then something completely different. Thanks to Heikki Uimonen for the dobro solo! As beautiful as this romantic dream is, the old-fashioned lyrics make it hard to keep a straight face at times. Raimo, Minä & Universumi (Raimo, Me & The Universe) returns to the theme of two old friends sitting around in the dead of night in deep thought. Mika dedicates this one to Rane, the Crazy Poet. Shine on, you crazy diamond!

Keith Beck’s Zigman Bird fearlessly switches between a full-piece rock’n’roll band and an exciting acoustic act, mixing catchy hooks, melodies and lyrics. The name Zigman Bird came to me while I was sitting on the toilet. There was a junkyard by my house and the owner, Sigman Byrd, used to shoot kids with a salt gun if they wandered onto his property. He got a few of us but I survived and got a band name out of it.

This is where [a4733507], [a6661440], [a2690771] and [a2749959] met and remained isolated for 10 days to improvise and to let free of their ideas – a process they called improvvision – each with its own instrument but with a new and empathetic approach to it. When they return to Milan they start working on their ideas giving them shape with [a3310217]’s drums rhythmical support and [a1023442]’s electronic aid, ten tracks between songs and psychedelic were born. Recordings were made live by [a302019] in the [l271997], to maintain the original strong sensations whilst performing and the genuine spirit of their original creativity. Although all the members of the band are Italian mother tongue, they decided to use English for this project and be open to an international public leaving behind their own individual life path. Sabrina Pria has contributed to the lyrics turning the improvisions in visions whilst Dave Muldon supervised the grammar and pronunciation.

| Search | Add | 3 | Edgar Cayce | Edgar Cayce, (born March 18, 1877, near Hopkinsville, Kentucky, U.S.—died January 3, 1945, Virginia Beach, Virginia), American self-proclaimed faith healer and psychic. A Sunday-school teacher with little formal education, Cayce began faith healing in the 1920s, using a combination of spiritual readings and homeopathic medicine; many of his cures were said to have been accomplished long-distance. In 1925 he settled in Virginia Beach, where he established a hospital (1928) and the Association for Research and Enlightenment (1931). He also made prophecies (including the destruction of New York City and California), claimed to be able to recall past lives, and promoted belief in the existence of a great civilization in Atlantis some 12,000 years ago. | |

At the time the artist established his main alias [a547453] as a "commercial" electronic artist & remixer of pop/rock songs, so he didn't want to shock his numerous pop fans with this experimental underground sound. |
