Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | N. Patrick Williams | Conneaut, Ohio 1967-68 Hailing from the community of Conneaut, at the very northeast corner of Ohio on Lake Erie, N. Patrick Williams didn't really have the people and resources to create a teen band scene, so he became a full on DIY mastermind who wrote, sang, produced, and released some excellent and unique garage rock 45s in 1968. On his first 45, recorded early in 1968, he hooked with a short lived band from Conneaut called the Inner Prism and recorded "Bad Seed", an intense tale of debauchery brought on by a cheating girlfriend, with the classic shout out "All right man, here's my life!". Williams put together a second recording session a few months later, using a couple local musicians, and cut the anti drug "Bearded Peddler", the anti war "Sirens of War", and the moody downer "Tears I Lost For You", all just as intense, and slightly unhinged, as the 1st 45. He recorded one more 45 at the end of 1968, under the name of "The Sound Of N. Patrick Williams" which was much more low key. Those were the last released recordings of Williams. Discography: (45) Bad Seed / Someday Tomorrow - Confederate no #, April 1968 (45) Bearded Peddler / Little Girl - Confederate #1, July 1968 (45) Sirens Of War / Tears I Lost For You - Confederate #2, July 1968 (45) Down Where Devils Play / Don't Be Afraid To Cry - Confederate #5, late 1968

At the end of 2015, David Jackman launched his flagship solo project under the alias “David Ben Jack”, releasing his debut single “No Love (ft. Teri Tobin)” via The EDM Network. The single–a soulful and poppy, yet eccentric take on chilled deep house and nu-disco–features rising neo-soul singer Teri Tobin on vocals, and a remix from UK production duo Armstrong & Statye (of UB40 production fame). A week later, the track charted on JunoDownload.com as the #12 best-selling release in the funky house/club category, before getting airplay on BBC radio, and garnering support from influential DJs. Soon after, David Ben Jack was approached to produce several official remixes for legendary jazz musician Mac Gollehon’s (David Bowie, Duran Duran, Grace Jones) newest project, which was released on his LP via Tomas Doncker’s NYC-based True Groove label. The album (which contained 2 of his remixes) charted for five consecutive weeks on both the CMJ Top 40 Jazz Charts (#19) and Top 40 World Charts, and has been featured on Huffington Post, All About Jazz, and Paste Magazine, being heralded as a unique fusion of latin jazz and EDM. David Ben Jack was then commissioned to produce more remixes for the label, as well a remixes for fusion super group Gideon King and The City Blog, comprised of Island Records recording artist Marc Broussard, James Genus (Daft Punk, Herbie Hancock), Donny McCaslin (David Bowie), and other seasoned musicians. |

Search | Add | 3 | Casteam | Marcin Fojcik | Casteam (Marcin Fojcik) for the first time appeared behind DJ desk in 1994, but his career began in 1997 right after he was number 1 in DJ competition organized in one of he the most popular clubs in Poland. Three years later he tried to play little bit with music productions. Year 2003 /2004 brought a turn in his career and it was a time when he could show his knowledge to wider audience. The single "Hypnotize", and a bit later, „Balloon" were well received by listeners. Following singles: "Don't Waste To Time" and "Like No Other" were successful too. At the same year Casteam started his cooperation with C-Bool. They have worked as a duo for a few months at the studio; and recorded "Check This One" with a video, and also "Holiday Time" and "Party". In 2006 Casteam decided to change his previous music interests and go for different trends in music production. Because of a big popularity among media and the audience Casteam went on concert tour in Poland and aboard. He performed on stage with following artists: Brooklyn Bounce, MrX, Caba Kroll, Steve Murano, Cj Stone, Dr. Motte, Mirko Milano, Vyrus etc. Thanks to Camey Records and label Dancefloor Studio the single "I Don't" was successful and was played by radios and TVs (Radio Eska, RMF Maxx, Radiostacja, 4 Fun TV, ITV, Viva). Search | Add | 3 | La Trifullka | In the beginnings of La Trifullka, back in 1995, one of the main ideas was to make music of its own. That worked as a philosophy of the band integrated by Luis and Raúl Rueda, Xavier von Buchwald and Christian Freire until this December. Those beginnings where there is an extraordinary chemistry and good vibes no longer go, the group is unmarked and leaves three albums for the history of the national rock: Mucha Rabia, Efecto Placebo and Calamidad Doméstica. Luis Rueda (vocalist) is the one who tells almost everything, the other part of the noise of La Trifullka is known by his followers and those who once heard them and saw them derailing the stages. There is no crying. They release the first album Mucha Rabia en 1996 and have a good promotion job with the MTM label. Time of the fifth hair and artificial light that coincides with the takeoff of the group. In '97 the band grows a lot, toured the country, sells many records, plays at the Festival Rock al Parque in Bogotá, Colombia. Everything is going well and they get dizzy for success. They enter a stage of chaos. After the concert at the Pululahua volcano in 1999, the bassist Raúl Rueda left the band, although he never left completely: he played in the presentations and participated in the Efecto Placebo (2000). To get this metal, seven months were locked in Luis's house. The result of so much experimentation is a superdark disc (dark), according to Luis Rueda, much more creative and more interpenetrating among the musicians. They live like a band from the seventies, with the whole psychedelia pod included. They take out the disk independently and realize that the work of a promoter is always necessary. Placebo effect is completely different from Mucha rabia, but it does not strike well among the followers, to many it seems horrible, others begin to know La Trifullka with this delivery, however, commercially it does not work. In 2001, Luis left for Spain. He stays for nine months and plays with a band called Elecktra, he becomes contaminated with Madrid's movida, and in the nostalgia of distance he composes some songs. Freire enters the group of Sergeant Tomato as a collaborator and von Buchwald to Los Asuntados. On the way back there is a disc in Luis's head. Gather the band, but this time it is not a group work, all songs and arrangements are made by Luis. Calamidad Domestica is a much fresher work, cheerful, with different nuances that record with Ifesa. There is a lot of enthusiasm, but things do not come out because of the organization problems of the label. They play here and there. The stigma that they are a chaotic band of heavy rock chases them everywhere, so much so that Freire and von Buchwald are definitely leaving. César Peralta, on guitar, Juan Carlos Macio for drums and Daniel Sais from Argentina play the keyboards and adapt the old songs with the new sound. A chaotic show at the Santé disco, where drunk Luis Rueda is kicked out, marks the end of the route. "Everything that happened that day is not something that I feel proud of, it was a disastrous day," he confesses. The path of any artist who intends to leave some kind of legacy or transcendence is to create, not interpret. It is the thought that dominates and maintains Luis Rueda. They open and each one goes by his side. They did not pass indifferently within the national rock, but there will be no more magical nights like when they played with Los Prisioneros and those present felt the overwhelming force of La Trifullka.

Search | Add | 3 | Jerk Off Jack Off Frig Face | Jerk Off Jack Off Frig Face was the country and western/cowboy themed folkpunk side project of Tim Findlen during his time living with and performing mainly as Vomit Dichotomy, a group of wingnuts who lived and mostly attended Goddard together. Around 2003 there were plans for a split album with Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains that never materialised. In the end, two albums were recorded with the second record being turned into a live stage comedy musical that toured punk houses in 2005. Members consisted of Tim Findlen (Over A Cardboard Sea, Roochie Toochie) fronting the band and drawing on other Vomit Dichotomy residents like Jeremiah Morelock (Mantits, Pretend You're Happy) who was the voice of 'Scary Steve'.

An avid writer of poetry and short stories, Konphlicted fell in love with the blend of lyricism and soulful undertones that is RAP music. His style is an unique blend of complex multi-syllabic lyrics, layered metaphors, and brutal honesty. Instead of chasing fame, Konphlicted writes to stimulate the soul and invoke contemplation. After making the move to Memphis, Konphlicted decided to pursue his passion. It was here he met [a=Mr. Sche], CEO of Immortal Productions, and the music making soon followed. With a recent release of his first project “Ready the EP”, Konphlicted is throwing the knockout blow with his debut album “daWicKedwAys & Softer Shades”.

Search | Add | 3 | Jahiti | I. Smith | Jahiti is a singer/songwriter based in Baltimore, MD. As part of Baltimore’s legendary group, Brown FISH, and as a solo artist he has performed throughout the US, Canada and Jamaica for the past 15 years. Bringing his own brand of roots, reggae and soul, Jahiti continues to build his solo legacy while remaining close to the spirit of the Brown FISH name. As a founding member of Brown FISH, Jahiti was a core part of the group’s unique “hip-hop meets reggae” signature sound. Part of their particular magic was each member’s ability to perform as individuals as well as being able to come together cohesively as a group. This can be witnessed in their three underground mixtapes, Bootleg I, II, and III released from 2000-2008. Each member (OOH, B-FLY, Vertex and P-EYE) has gone on to have celebrated solo careers in music, production, book publishing, art and community outreach through the arts. In August of 2003, Brown FISH Music released Jahiti’s first solo project “FISH Bowl (The People’s Album).” Co-produced by in-house producer and Brown FISH member Vertex, this project would start Jahiti down the path of becoming a prominent voice among songwriters and performers in Baltimore and the DMV area. Songs like “FISH Bowl,” “I Do,” “Roses” and “Dangerous” would allow him to grow from a child of Caribbean immigrants to a man molded by the beauty of Baltimore. Other songs such as “Hello,” “Keep On Keepin On” and “Jahiti Goodbye” display his passion for his community, his ability to persevere and his capacity to give and share love. In August of 2010, the 7-year anniversary edition of the album, “FISH Bowl,” was released. This new version of the project would replace guest interviews from other artists and add 4 new songs. The most-noted new tracks were “Old Love” ft. Maimouna Youssef and “Keep Cool” by Marcus Garvey. In June 2012, Jahiti and Kier Johnson of Purple Honey Music and Entertainment would team up to co-produce Jahiti’s second release “IS.” Unlike FISH Bowl, this project was not produced using a variety of tracks or pre-recorded sounds but instead was produced 100% using live instruments. It’s while listening to “IS” that you can begin to hear the emergence of Jahiti as a matured and refined singer/songwriter. Within this album you can hear the emergence of his unique music blend. Songs like “Once Again,” “World is Changing” & “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” introduce you to the tones and lyrics of country music. “Give with My Heart” brings you that world music feel as it is reminiscent of his West Indian heritage. And in songs like “10 O’clock” and “Edge,” you are treated to that “soul rock” feel that brings his music genre full circle. The project also includes the non-video version of “Daughter of The Most High”. His recent album, “Manifest” was released on the artist’s birthday, February 8, 2014. “Manifest” ushers in a complete vision of Jahiti’s sound. This project stands out because of the extensive resources coordinated to produce a more polished and robust album. “Manifest” contains thirteen tracks nine of which were co-produced by Mo-Rece of Stinkiface Studio, two by Kariz of Kariz World Studio, and two by Jahiti. The album includes three previously recorded songs- “Murder,” “Show Me the Money” & “Daughter of the Most High.” (This new recording of “Daughter of The Most High” would be the version used for the official music video.) The album starts off with an explosion of world music with the upbeat sound of “Come Like Love”. Other singles such as “I Really” and “Love of Mine” showcases Jahiti’s ability to write powerful and memorable love songs. Other standout tracks (“Movie Star,” “Woke Up/Pray for Me” and “Over Now”) gets the listener fully invested in the “World Country Soul” sound. In the end, “Manifest” succeeds in masterfully delivering stories of love and social commentary told simply using lyrics set to acoustic guitar driven sounds. As an artist, Jahiti isn’t just about the music. A former educator, community organizer and youth advocate, Jahiti has dedicated himself to the Baltimore community and continues to share his talents and passion to other communities that reflect similar challenges. Whether it’s marching in the streets to end domestic violence, reading and singing to a 1st grade class or performing in the prisons, he is committed to using his celebrity and talent to making a difference in the world. With a musical style described as a mix between Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Richie Havens and Bob Dylan we encourage you to find out for yourself. |

Search | Add | 3 | Linda Lou McCall | Linda Lou McCall | Linda Lou's career spans almost 4 decades, starting as a photography and publicist, and now as a songwriter & music industry consultant specializing in entertainment marketing, street promotion, and artist development. She has worked with veterans like The Delfonics and Con Funk Shun to contemporary artists like MC Hammer and Eminem. While with Con Funk Shun, she designed album covers, created album concepts, served as the production assistant on their albums, and co-wrote songs for the band like "California 1", "Bad Lady", "Honey Wild", "Promise You Love", and "I Think I Found The Answer". She went on to be a VP with rap megastar MC Hammer from 1990 to 1992. In 1992, Linda Lou formed The Entertainment Qartel, Inc, (EQartel), specializing in music business administration, entertainment marketing and street promotion. She relocated from North Hollywood to Atlanta in 1994 and quickly built up a solid client base with artists like OutKast, Goodie Mob, Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy, T.L.C., Jay-Z, Will Smith, Three-6 Mafia, Tupac, Faith Evans, and 112. As a member of the first Interscope Records Street Team, her Atlanta-based Rhyme Scene Unit Street Marketing Task Force was instrumental in the success of the debut albums of Eminem, Mya, and the Black Eyed Peas. Linda Lou was the wife of Con Funk Shun co-founder & drummer, Louis A. McCall, whom she met while they both worked at Stax Records in the mid 1970's. Louis was killed in a home invasion robbery in 1997. Linda Lou spent the next decade fighting to keep Louis' case from going cold, even persuading the Governor of Georgia to reopen the case in 2003. Her hard work finally paid off - on January 18, 2007, a Dekalb County, GA grand jury indicted a suspect on a felony murder charge. The case went to trial on July 21, 2008. However, due to problems with the state's case, the judge declared a mistrial just hours after the jury began deliberation. Linda Lou asked that the defendant not be retried so that she and her children could get on with their lives. Linda Lou excepts select consulting projects through her company Exxtra Foxx Music, LLC, the music publishing company that she's owned since 1981. In her spare time, Linda Lou volunteers as a consumer protection activist and lupus awareness advocate. She been a voting member of The Recording Academy ("The Grammy Awards") since 1977. The songs that she wrote for Con Funk Shun continue to be in demand. "Honey Wild", recorded by Con Funk Shun in 1980, was recently sampled for "Kush" by rapper Lil Wayne on his top-selling album, "Tha Carter III", released in June 2008. Along with partner Ruben L. Harper and her son Louis A. McCall II, she heads up a team of producer/songwriters. She has recently expanded the services of Exxtra Foxx Music to include consulting in song publishing and sample clearances. One of Linda Lou's photographs taken of the legendary R&B trio The Delfonics is included in the Smithsonian Institute's exhibition "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing: How the Apollo Theater Shaped American Entertainment" at the National Museum of African-American History & Culture, currently in Washington, DC through August 2011, and touring the country until 2012. |
