Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Johnston Atoll | Johnston Atoll were a fun-punk / pop-punk band from the Bergisch Gladbach area, that existed for about 10 years at all. As children, [a7436802] (later known as Sin Stanley and [a2496005]) and [a7436799] hung out in Sallys' grandma's basement to work on music with a keyboard, a bass-guitar and vocals. They called themselves "Lassies im Toaster" in the very early days (around 1993) and wrote german lyrics, having some lil hits with "Mein Frisör", "Wenn ich ein Mädchen wär" or "Das Ungetüm greift zu". In 1995 they changed their name to "Johnston Atoll" (named after an island where the US used to do some atom-bomb testings in the 60s) and wrote their songs in english language only. Starting out as a three-piece with new drummer [a7436801], pretty soon they got joined by lead-guitarist Kees to do only one concert with this line-up. It was the first one in May 1996. Sally didn´t get along with Kees (reasons might´ve been Sallys puberty…) and the band went on as a three-piece. More shows followed, same as two DIY tapes "Slubberdegullion" (1996) and "Misspent Youth" (1997). In 1998 [a7436803] joined the band. Before that time he played in bands like [a166166] or Atomic Garden. In 1999 the first and only album "Utters" (CD, Kot Records) followed. Johnston Atoll played shows throughout Germany until 2001, then changed their name to [a4301419] and their music style more towards alternative rock. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ilana Bar Rashi | Ilana Evelyn Gittler Bar Rashi is a musician, artist, DJ and producer originally from Massachusetts, USA. Surrounded by virtuoso jazz musicians, Ilana grew up with a natural passion for art and music. She was part of several bands as a guitarist and drummer and later on delved into sound design, where she found the ability to express herself in a deeper and more complex way. After being exposed to the unique healing effects of dancing in a trance state, Ilana dedicated her musical work for bringing that experience to the audience. Since 2011 Ilana has been performing at Psytrance events around the globe and releasing music under her middle name Evelyn. In 2019, Evelyn’s track "True Freedom" was played at the opening of the historic protest for cultural freedom in Tel Aviv, where over 50k people came to fight for their rights. The track wasn’t officially released but is available on YouTube together with powerful footage from the protest. In 2021 Eternal064 was established, a record label and home to other works of art, with a main focus of encouraging a stronger connection between human and earth, and to one another. Evelyn produces all of her music in A=432hz, a tuning that naturally resonates with natures frequencies. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | غرام | Gharam Alareeny = غرام العويني | Gharam (Arabic: غرام العويني) is a Jordanian singer, model and actress. Gharam refuses to say her real name, and thus stated to her fans that her artistic name reflects her and there is no need to know her real name. Gharam has been crowned as the most beautiful Jordanian singer, by Sawsan Al Sayyed in her program “Malikat” on Hiya TV. She has been appreciated for her work and the difficult times she has encountered with the Arabic media, and especially the Jordanian public views. Gharam has shot a video clip for her song “Saddikni” and it was banned to be broadcasted for political reasons. The video clip included hot scenes and sexy shows of girls who danced in the mud and at the same time views from the devastating war that has been prevailing in the Arab countries for years. Many people resembled Gharam by the famous Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe. However Gharam refuses this resemblance, and stated that she is much younger than Haifa and each has her own style. As for accusing her of imitating Dana’s video clips, this has also created rumors in the media. Finally, Gharam and her fight with the Jordanian public, led her to declare that she quit being too expressive and will focus on art and music professionally. Gharam cannot break the Jordanian traditions on her own, and gets disappointed when she sees that the Jordanian public accepts Lebanese artists as they are and complain about Jordanian singers. The day will come when the Jordanian singer will prove to her country Jordan that through her music and style, she will succeed more than anyone else. |

| Search | Add | 2 | John Davidge | Reginald John Davidge | Comedian, singer and songwriter who hailed from south-west England. His lyrics and stand-up comedy act often dealt with subjects that were politically motivated or considered a little controversial for the time. Davidge began his career in the mid-'50s, using the moniker 'Reg Gray' (not to be confused with the Australian entertainer of the same name), performing in theatrical plays, musicals, and films alongside the likes of [a=Michael Caine] and [a=Sean Connery]. He appeared in the film 'Tom Thumb' (1958) and was in a West End production of 'Mr Pickwick'. In 1967, he came to the attention of the wider public when he won Granada TVs talent show, 'First Timers'. Part of the prize for winning was a contract with manager Harvey Lisberg, who was at the time mainly known for being the manager of [a=Herman's Hermits]. Though the association with Lisberg was short-lived, it wasn't fruitless, as it was through the Lisberg connection that Davidge co-wrote The Man From Nazareth with [a=Eric Stewart], [a=Kevin Godley], and [a=Lol Creme]. It got to no.25 in the UK singles chart in 1970 and was his only hit record. Maureen Prest became his manager and it was during this time that Davidge wrote a song supporting the miners' strike, simply called 'The Miners' Song'. The BBC deemed that giving it airtime would make it appear that they supported the strike, so chose to ban the record from their airwaves. In return, Prest declared that she had banned the BBC from playing it. In 1977, Davidge was involved in a car accident in Belfast that left him with injuries so serious that it effectively put an end to his career. He and Prest went their separate ways in 1978 and he settled down with a new partner who spent much of the early-'80s helping him recuperate and to recover his memory. He withdrew from public life and remained private until his death in 2011. Born: 1930 in Bath, Somerset, England. Died: 1st January 2011, in Bath, Somerset, England. |
