Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Leni Re'nae | Born: July 28, 1936. Leni ReNae's father immigrated to Canada from Germany before the Second World War, while her mother is of German origin as well. Her father settled in northern Saskatchewan. She's the oldest of three children and the only one that had musical talent, which she says was inherited from her grandfather on her mother's side. He played fiddle, piano, and clarinet. At a young age, she would accompany her grandfather on guitar and sing as well. While living in northern British Columbia in the 1960s, she formed her own band. Because gigs were few and far between in the remote area, a person suggested she move to Vancouver, B.C., to increase her opportunities in the country music industry. A lack of outlets for her music, along with little money, stalled her career. An opportunity came up to tour the United States with an all-girl group, which she played piano and sang on some songs. That tour made her realize music was what she wanted to do with her life, and she moved across the border to Blaine, Washington by the late '60s. When she was not touring, her husband would play drums at local shows in the Pacific Northwest. When she was on the road, he would stay home and take care of their two boys and two girls. Her children were also singers and musicians.

Search | Add | 5 | OLSK | OLSK is a musical project oriented toward dark and minimal techno, created in 2015. I previously worked on a psychedelic project, namely "The Karaganda Project", with already a 5 tracks full-on EP early 2014, and a full length, 8 tracks techno LP released in march 2015 on speed sound records, before creating a new project dedicated to techno: [a5136834]'s first EP: No pun intended, was released by subwoofer records. five subsequents EP have been released by NG records, Oxytech recordings, Viral digital Outbreak and Hexagon Recordings. Now renamed OLSK, my project ventures into a mix of darker sounds and melodic content. As a live act, OLSK likes to combine loops from already released tracks with sounds from hardware synths and drum machine, all of this controlled from an octatrack sampler, changing those tracks into a dynamic live set.

Search | Add | 5 | The Nevels Sisters | With powerhouse vocals and energy that electrifies and empowers listeners, the Nevels Sisters aren't your typical gospel girl group. Offering a new style of gospel music dubbed “new traditional thump,” the ladies are the latest gospel artists helping to redefine what the genre looks and sounds like in the contemporary era. Natives of Youngstown, Ohio, the group is made up of four biological sisters: Debra, Veneice, Gail and April. Their singing ministry dates back to their father's church, Nevels Temple Church of God in Christ, where as young girls they warmed the souls of his congregation, delivering their special brand of praise and worship. Encouraged by the overwhelming positive response to their artistry, the sisters ventured out on the road with their father where they further evolved their talents. “The time that we spent on the road has really prepared us for where we are today,” says Gail. “At first, we were unaware of our gifts as artists, but now we are filled with great confidence as we share those gifts in praise of the Lord.” With a push from God that kept moving them forward, the Nevels Sisters eventually caught the ear of gospel music pioneer Vicki Mack Lataillade, who immediately recognized their unique talents. “I was just amazed by their talent and energy,” says Lataillade, who got to work, striking a deal with MoLife Entertainment to bring the Nevels Sisters under her direction at Lataillade Entertainment. “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Vicki and we look forward to where this opportunity will take us in our journey,” says Veneice. At last primed for the big time, the Nevels Sisters are set for their first major label release, It's My Time, coming in April 2011, which offers a sparkling showcase of their mesmerizing talents. While comparisons to other gospel sister acts, like the famed Clark Sisters, are inevitable, the Nevels Sisters are excited to share what they uniquely bring to the gospel music landscape. “To be compared to the legendary Clark Sisters is an incredible honor,” says April. “We certainly hope to do them proud as we walk down the road that they paved, and to keep carrying the torch of excellence with the gifts that God has given the Nevels Sisters.” “Our goal is to make a great impact on people,” says Debra. “Each of us feels that it is an honor and a privilege that we have this opportunity and we don't plan to waste a minute of it.”

They have rocked various venues around the country and in their hometown of Reno, NV, sharing the stage with some notable names including Agent Orange, Y&T, and The English Beat. After an extensive tour around the country in 2015, Carter and Michelle decided to get back into the studio and continue the indefinite search for new sounds and ideas. They are currently working hard writing and recording new material, while performing live shows and planning tours in between sessions. They often have various members join them onstage for live performances, including but not limited to Nik Taro, Adam Springob, and Micheal Dewayne Jackson.

Search | Add | 5 | Joshua H. Pleeter | I’m a mixing/mastering engineer and a musical curator from NY. I work out of a creative heaven called Dimension 70 Studios in Manhattan. Connecting people and trying to facilitate the creation of art has been my goal since the very beginning. From bringing artists together into the same room, to curating a vibe in the space before they step in. I’m always trying to push boundaries in the process. I look at mixing and engineering as a real way to do that. A way of helping artist’s translate what they are hearing (or not hearing) in their head to what they want the world to hear out loud.

Search | Add | 5 | TBandzo | Northwest resident TBandzo has often stated that he never writes his lyrics down, instead preferring to freestyle. Mixing Drill with elements of Trap, TBandzo’s bouncy off the beat flow mixed with thuming 808 laced beats makes what TBandzo likes to call ‘Nrap Music’. Releasing his debut tape ‘No Reply After Payment’ in October 2022 the 7 track player demonstrated TBandzo’s stand out talent in an often samey scene. On ‘RCE Style’ TBandzo flexes his truths across a delicate beat, ‘No hand outs so please keep a hand in’. TBandz uses ‘RCE Style’ to effortlessly segway into the second half of the tape where sample based rhythms ‘PYP’, ‘T’D UP’ & ‘BOUT A SCAM’ live. All three contain energy which hits you like a punch in the face, and instantly makes you wanna get sturdy. This energy is unsurprisingly uplifted when transferred to a live setting and TBandzo knows how to emulate his recorded energy on stage leaving the audience charged up wanting more. TBandzo is just getting started and ‘No Reply After Payment’ is just the tip of the iceberg…
