Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Nadrealisti | Top lista nadrealista ("The Top List of the Surrealists", sometimes "The Surrealists' Chart Toppers")—also known as TLN or Nadrealisti ("Surrealists")—is a Yugoslav sketch comedy and variety television show. Produced by TV Sarajevo, it aired on the nationwide Yugoslav Radio Television (JRT) public broadcasting system in three separate instalments between 1984 and 1991, having originated from a weekly fifteen-minute local radio comedy segment that was part of the Primus program on Radio Sarajevo's channel two from 1979 until 1985. In 1984, after establishing a core radio audience locally in the city of Sarajevo, Top lista nadrealista radio segment got spun off into a television sketch series. Two more series on television followed, in 1989 and 1991, making household names of its protagonists all over SFR Yugoslavia and helping launch and solidify successful television, film, and musical careers for some of them (most notably Nele Karajlić and Branko "Đuro" Đurić). Although eventually best known for insightful and often prophetic political humour, TLN initially relied mostly on its protagonists' youthful improvisation and ad-libbing for laughs while staying away from politics entirely. Towards the late 1980s and into the early 1990s—during the show's second and third series, respectively—a period during which some of its most memorable and enduring sketches were created, Top lista nadrealista incorporated political satire while infusing their social satire with additional surrealist and black comedy. The show's 1989-1991 popularity is reflected in some of its sketches' language and phrasing entering public vernacular (see Hrkljuš). In the late 1980s and early 1990s, a number of TLN sketches dealt with the deteriorating political situation in Yugoslavia that turned out to be a prelude to the Yugoslav Wars with some sketches proving prophetic, portraying a dystopian near-future—featuring the Yugoslav state being disintegrated, the city of Sarajevo divided between different newly-established states, a single family split into two clans warring over control of rooms in their apartment, UN peacekeeping forces adding fuel to the conflict, etc.—years before it became reality. In the context of the Yugoslav Wars that had already begun as the show's third series was being filmed, Nadrealisti held a clear pacifist posture, often using absurdity and dark hyperbole when portraying rising ethnic tensions and imminent war in SR Bosnia and Herzegovina (e.g. warning that "peace may break out and ruin Bosnian harmonious war" or giving alarming instructions on "how the public should act in case of peace"). | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Rosborough | Glenn Rosborough | Glenn Rosborough is a singer songwriter from Derry, Northern Ireland. In a city steeped in music and performance he grew up in a household full of records that became his influences. “I started my musical life from a very early age, teaching myself guitar at the age of ten and writing songs from the year after. Growing up in a musical household, with childhood heroes such as Tom Waits, Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel, becoming a musician was not a destined path but as realistic a career as becoming a lawyer, plumber or doctor. My parents made sure of that.” Rosborough cut his teeth in the vibrant music scene in Derry, playing regular shows at Bennigan's and the Warehouse which allowed him to try new songs on an audience full of writers and performers. This cultural hub served him well, allowing him to cultivate and refine an album’s worth of songs that attracted the attention of Ignition Records to whom he signed in 2017. This year Glenn has been on tour both as a headline artist and supporting some great acts including The DMAs, Mew and Seafret throughout the UK and Europe. He has also appeared at festivals such as the Great Escape and Community Festival, showcasing new songs whilst building a great live reputation and loyal following. |

| Search | Add | 4 | High Red | High Red | Norwegian/American band based in Oslo, Norway Every once in a long while things just seem to come together naturally, as if they had been aligned in the stars, or perhaps by destiny. Such is the story of the creation of High Red. Hailing from the heartlands of both the United States and Norway, the combined members of the High Red are on a mission to spread their musical message to audiences the world over. With nothing short of awe-inspiring live performances, High Red will embark on a musical journey right in front of your eyes and ears. And all you have to do is witness. With countless appearances sharing the stage with world-class touring acts (Robben Ford, Michael Landau, Kirk Fletcher, etc) in Scandinavia, Europe, and the USA, it was only a matter of time before Jon, Per, Iver, and Adam were to embark on their own musical endeavor - as High Red. Drawing inspiration from heavy study and upbringing in gospel-infused soul music and playing the blues everywhere from Los Angeles to Stockholm, these boys create a genre-splitting version of urban sleek and rural grit. With Adam Douglas' vocal prowess and avant-garde guitar playing, Per Øystein Erstad's command of the bass, Jon Reidar Furulund's relentless groove behind the drum kit, Iver Olav Erstad's mastery of the Hammond Organ, Clavinet, Rhodes, and piano - High Red has a message for you… Are you ready to listen? Musicians: Adam Douglas, Iver Olav Erstad, Per Øystein Erstad, Markus Lillehaug Johnsen and Jon Reidar Furulund |

| Search | Add | 4 | Counterfeit Jeans | Counterfeit Jeans formed in Edmonton in 2014. Within a year they released a four-track EP garnering positive reviews across Canada and in the US, leading to a string of shows and festival dates in their first year as a band. Their music is melodic, with serpentine guitar lines married to a driving rhythm section. This all results in a massive sound that you’d be shocked to know is made by only a group of three. Named one of Edmonton’s hidden gem bands by CBC in 2015; popping up on the “Best of 2015” lists by the Edmonton Journal, Cups n’ Cakes podcast, and Harder Harmonies podcast; and receiving two 2016 Edmonton Music Award nominations for Indie Rock Recording of the Year and Artist to Watch, the young band has already become well-known in the independent music scene. Counterfeit Jeans released their debut LP in Canada through Edmonton indie label, Sometimes Music on July 1, 2016 and in the United States through Brooklyn indie label, Broken Circles on Aug. 5, 2016. The album received positive reviews in the United States, Europe and Canada. Counterfeit Jeans’ LP spent more than 17 weeks on Canadian campus charts nation-wide and placed in the national campus top 50 charts. Counterfeit Jeans was the first artist to appear on CKUA radio/Capital City Records podcast that highlights Edmonton-area music as well. | |

Born in Florence (Italy), he is a singer, a musician and a cabaret artist; he is also the artistic director of the group. His voice appears in some songs, for example "Sorelle, sante e suppliziate" (included in the album "Aglien Discomix"), "El Misterio del Espacio" (included in the album "Nightflight to Planet X") and "50 Sfumature di Alieno" ("Fifty Shades of Alien", a single track). Dorien loves cats and flying saucers; he is also interested in some esoteric disciplines, such as oracle cards, astrology and dowsing. "Egyptian Sands" is his first digital album: released on January 2018 by the discographic label Pleyad Studios, it is dedicated to the tradition of belly dance. Dorien is the composer and the rapper; he was inspired by ethnic music, particularly by the typical melodies of North African countries. This album is also dedicated to the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, such as Pyramids, the Sphinx, Bastet the Cat Goddess... but the greater mystery of all is that of alien traces over or under the sands!

(taken from their angelfire bio page) Tomorrow Feels Like Sunday is: Marc Navarro - vocals/words Ron Navarro - guitar/vocals Justin Wotring - guitar Aaron Sauter - bass Tony Iamurri - drums Some things you need to know about Tomorrow feels like Sunday. We are a hardcore band, we strive to stay away from labels, but we are not a Christian band. However some of the members in the band are and hold their ideals close to their hearts, we write stuff that is personal to us. Tomorrow feels like Sunday is not a straightedge band. Although many members of the band claim straightedge or choose to be drug free, we do not claim the band a straightedge band. We strive to let others make what they want to make of us. We challenge ourselves to push our talents to the limit in song writing to become a better band and grow in each other. if any of you have any questions for any of us feel free to email any of our members and they will gladly answer anything you wish .. Much love for the scene, Ronnie / Tomorrow feels like Sunday

| Search | Add | 4 | Pat Fontes | Patrick Fontes | Being quoted by his peers as "Mr. Techno" this humble encyclopedia of electronic music knowledge has been there, and done that, and is still finding ways to capture the imagination of others through his music! Pat Fontes' love affair with music began at the tender age of 11 during the early 90s- collecting mix tapes he’d purchased at the local Portuguese market. As a teen he quickly progressed to buying records en mass of garage and house vinyl. By 16 Pat started DJing throughout Boston, and by the early 2000s was managing and later became owner of Satellite Records. During this time Pat was also a resident DJ and manager of the long standing often heralded, Midweek Techno in Cambridge with buddies Soul Clap. As a 22-year industry veteran and local hero Pat Fontes has shared the stage with the likes of Martin Buttrich, Paco Osuna, Timo Maas, Cassy, Pan Pot, The Orb, and Patrice Bamel. Pat’s production style is uniquely his own ranging from upbeat tech house to deep melancholic techno and house. His discography includes releases with Slumber (Amber Cox & Oona Dahl), Martin Eyer, and Derek Marin. In 2017, after being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) Pat began focusing all of his energies towards his love of music and sharing that passion with others. “My emotions run much deeper than I could imagine and I’ve been learning how to leverage this creatively. I haven’t stopped doing what I love for 21 years- and will continue ‘til I physically can’t, and have since left my mark on this world of music and beyond.” Fontes is excited to share his upcoming release on Re.tune and Future is Now Recordings with the world, as well as some gems from techno’s past, present, and future |

| Search | Add | 4 | The Medveds | the Medveds, a byproduct of Boston, Massachusetts formed in the summer of 1994. The band’s name, which carried over from earlier garage projects headed up by frontman Ben Hunter, was drunkenly derived from a game of pin the tail on the donkey with a mid-1980s, Cleveland phonebook. The group landed on the name Keith Medved and it stuck (not to be confused with film critic Michael Medved). During their brief and dysfunctional punk rock citizenship, the Medveds earned notoriety for their volatile blend of booze and banter, as well as their crazy onstage antics. The band permeated Boston’s punk rock fraternity for nearly a decade and attracted a cultish, underground following while headlining staple clubs and local dives throughout the North East. None of which paid the bills. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | 33blackLP | Mark T. Davis (Omenya) and Allan Zane (WYRM, Solumenata, Le Scrambled Debutante etc.) | 33blackLP is the project brainchild of Mark Davis (Omenya). He is joined by Allan Zane (WYRM, Solumenata, Le Scrambled Debutante, etc.). Davis’s and Zane’s styles are similar, yet unique enough to augment each other’s work in a manner that is truly sublime. 33blackLP set out to amalgamate and mutate musical genres without adhering to any particular one of them. This strategy is employed in order to lend an element of surprise to every release. The music should speak for itself. Davis and Zane insist on this concept to the extent that every release (and every track on every release) will be represented by progressive Roman numerals as titles. Visually, 33blackLP will engage in “aesthetic open dialogues”—as abstract imagery can complement music without imposing concepts upon it in the way that song titles can. 33blackLP draw influence from every area of life—without implying suggestions or answers. These influences are myriad. These influences are stylistically-blended into a refined hedonism (sometimes even sadomasochistic in its expression) that is the very essence that is the project. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Stephen Merriman | Stephen Rich Merriman | I play jazz piano, and I compose music—mostly jazz: set pieces, and compositions that can work as stand-alone offerings, and also serve as vehicles for jazz improvisation and exploration. I was called to piano at age 7, nearly seven decades ago now. The keyboard, and the universe contained within it, have been my true, most constant friends and companions throughout this lifetime. Originally, playing the piano was a means to preserve my sanity during childhood—to express and offload emotions that dared not be put into words in an abusive, ignorant, addictions-ridden household. Knowledge about harmony and musical composition, and the desire to develop improvisational proficiency, took root. They accompanied me, developing at their own, unhurried pace as I grew older and encountered the challenges of how to live in the world and be comfortable in my own skin. In any setting where I play, I always “come to play.” Sometimes I play quite well; other times I play not so well. Regardless of what kind of day I'm having, I always play to "express," rather than to "entertain." Although my compositional gifts are my stronger suit and have come more naturally to me, I still love and appreciate my playing skills equally, and I’m grateful to have both capabilities. Here’s what I can promise you, should you choose to wade into my compositions and my playing: There is no hustle, no hype, no slick promotion, no cheap charisma nor pandering, no cult of personality, no cultivating the folklore of the “suffering artist” or exulting in a self-indulgent, eccentric lifestyle, no bragging rights, no sense of being in competition with anything, or anyone. There is only the movement of soul from one moment to the next, ever sampling the richness of the palate of Creation—daring, at the insistence of the Muse, to transform some of Its wonders (from all directions) into musical expression. Creating, via composing, playing set pieces, or “hanging out” on—risking—the unforeseen, high-wire surprises (both + and -) of jazz improvisation and exploration, is daunting: sometimes joyous, sometimes fun, sometimes exhilarating, often exhausting, sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes serene, and everything in between. Whatever the experience that, in any given moment, finds itself revealed—either through a composition or within an improvised chorus (or both)—the music, and the motivation behind it, are soul-based. In their conception and presentation, they are pure. |
