Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He grows up in Nigeria and he had opportunity to tour many campus in Nigeria then international performing in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Sudan and Cairo. This music is hip-hop as sonic architectured into minimal home-grown hip-hop. You could suggest that since the words mainstream American hip-hop have become so banal, one doesn’t really need to understand them — but that’s not an argument that’s going to win over many American hip-hop heads. Yet with the major labels bleeding money and losing their conglomerate backers, that system may finally be cracking. Hip-Hop is everywhere!

Search | Add | 4 | Sen-Sei | Nathan Uhlir | Sen-Sei, a native to Brooklyn ,N.Y., started his musical career at age five. After 13 years of studying classical music, Sen-Sei had mastered the finer elements of piano playing. A demonstration of his musical talent was seen at Carnegie Hall in 1989. In the following two years, Sen-Sei found himself in and out of bands that ranged in funk, jazz, and top 40 of the time. Problem was, he couldn’t find the type of music that really moved him. After relocating to San Francisco in 1991, Sen-Sei experienced his first underground house party, dancing to the beats of DJ’s Dutch, Carlos, and MoonPup. From that moment on, it was clear that dance music was the true love for Sen-Sei. Sen-Sei's ingenious talent lies in his ability to take electronic music production out of the sterile recording studio and into the lives of the fans by creating the music real-time, on-stage. He has teamed with well-known DJs world-wide to create a cutting-edge infusion of sound. When he is not performing, Sen-Sei is creating music for CD, vinyl, television, and movie. |

Search | Add | 4 | Pociashanty | Founder and owner of PCH RECORDS LABEL. Member of Mkn Brigade Sound System from Brescia (Italy). Really good dj and producer. His style was a mix between mental, hypnotic melodies, distorted kicks and a lot of trance influences. Dj Pociashanty was born in Italy 13 June 1965 In the beginning of the '90 he started to appreciate electronic music. In the '90s ,with Pippo dj (from Acid Drop sound system), Pociashanty started to play in the best club of Italy to spread the first techno music. In 1994 started to play in little parties. Only vinyl sets.In 96 Pociashanty had for gift his first pc. Than he started to produce his own music with an old pc and just 3 softwares The beginning was not so exciting because the experimental sound produced by Pociashanty was not so appreciated. After 2000 Pociashanty was still playing and producing good music. Between 2000 and 2011 he played in a lot of club, parties and teknivals, In that period he made his own label (PHC) and produced 5 records. He became also member of Mkn Brigade Sound System from Brescia (Italy) . A lot of collaborations with Kimo, Circuit Gang, Lego, Crop Circle, Tribe Unitz, Tekno Motive and many others. A sad day came....he died on 19 February 2012. Pociashanty is still in the memory of all friends

Search | Add | 4 | Kurac Od Ovce | Kurac Od Ovce (or roughly Sheep's Dick) was a band from Kutina, Croatia. It was formed in 1993 and had a couple of line-up changes through the years. They were one of the bands/people involved at Baraka venue/project. They played a straightforward melodic hardcore/punk. The lyrics are in a straight edge vein but they're not preaching, they're angry and personal. Lots of songs of this band are forgotten, but few of them are recorded on 3 albums. Their last release was album Čovjek S Greškom (2001) released only on tape. It's a double A side release, same tracks on both sides of the tape which was released on Humanita Nova label.

Search | Add | 4 | qoru | Jac Neich | Based in Australia, Jac Neich (professionally known as ‘qoru’) started producing hip hop music reminiscent of the 1990’s when he was 15. He began to distribute his music on SoundCloud going under a persona named ‘jxcques’ which was later changed after the release of his 2020 mixtape ‘qoru, vol. 1’. In February of 2021 he released the following sequel, ‘vol. 2’. In an interview he stated; “Looking back on them, I’m not really fond of how basic they were. But I remember they were merely my way of starting out and getting onto the hip-hop scene.” Later in the year, he resubmitted both ‘vol. 1’ and vol. 2’ on streaming services as a joint project, named ‘growing up’. After he found his place in the industry, qoru shook the ground with project after project, making 2021 not only his sophomore year as a producer but his most fruitful year to date. These projects would include ‘THE LAST STRAW’ as well as releasing his first commercial album ‘Dropout’ featuring Kid Jac and Mxlly. His second album, ‘Intoxicated’ (released 29th October) held no features and reached the number one placement on the Bandcamp discover page for instrumental hip hop before its release. “Heaven (You're Gone)” was used as the headlining song for a bandcamp radio exclusive, titled ‘The Hip Hop Show’ Episode 25, hosted a week before the album release, on 22nd October. Finally, Intoxicated is currently at an astonishing 10,000 plays (and counting) on bandcamp. |

Search | Add | 4 | Rose Bayonet | ROSE BAYONET : Stefan Lavington - Guitar Jerry Pearse-Smith - Drums Geoff Dunn - Vocals Matthew Hudson - Bass Previous members: Jeff Borra - Vocals Peter Appleboom - Bass Warwick Hill - Bass The New Zealand hard rock / heavy metal band, ROSE BAYONET, was very popular in N.Z. throughout the early ‘80s. The Wellington-based quartet would often perform to capacity crowds at venues such as Quinn’s Post in Upper Hutt, The Cabana in Napier, Mainstreet, The Gluepot and Manukau Arms in Auckland. The group proved to be a powerful support act for Cold Chisel in 1982, at Wellington Town Hall. The biggest concert that ROSE BAYONET played was on the main stage at Sweetwaters Festival on January 28th, 1983 -- which was also one of their last gigs. There were reportedly over 35,000 attendees at the Festival. The group’s energetic live sets were comprised of mostly original material, with suitably heavy titles such as “Demon Rider”, “Let It Die”, “Headbanger”, “Tough Road”, “Six Feet Under”, “Hell on Earth”, “Predator” and several more. ROSE BAYONET performances were unforgettable and notoriously loud (the band took their own huge p.a. system on the road) with flash pot explosions, a great light show, obligatory dry ice and special effects, all added for good measure. ROSE BAYONET recorded an exciting selection of self-penned songs at EMI Studios in Wellington in 1982 (the group had no bass player at that point, so Stefan Lavington played all guitar and bass on the studio recordings). Their shot at the international heavy metal market didn’t eventuate though, as EMI NZ chose not to sign the band, despite their live performances being all the rage. After ROSE BAYONET split up, a couple of young RB fans (Shane Joyce & Stephen Britland) managed to get hold of the studio demo master tapes. Shane & Stephen used their own money to fund the release of the ROSE BAYONET LP, entitled ‘Leather and Chains’. (Four additional live tracks were added to the five studio cuts). It was issued onto the NZ market via Jayrem Records, with a sole pressing of only 500 copies. The very basic cover artwork, text errors and songwriting credit guess work left a lot to be desired, but at last ROSE BAYONET were finally documented on vinyl. The record is now highly collectable and sought after by avid metal fans worldwide, wanting to hear what Kiwi heavy rock was all about. A couple of other live ROSE BAYONET tracks also appeared on the similarly rare N.Z. compilation ‘Godzone Metal’ LP in 1983.
