Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026

Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 NOVOID NOVOID Let There Be Solid Rock! "... inspired by our musical idols, we rock fat riffs and groovy songs of today." NOVOID has been founded in Switzerland in 2015 as a church band to bring "joy through music". After several complaints regarding noise level, the rock enthusiasts decide to become independent. "We are evolving the style, but the mission remains the same," according to the founder Phil Keller. Thanks to their high-energy stage presence, they are getting several appearances as well as at the "Scene Openair" in Lustenau and qualify for the finals at the Rheintal Soundz competition 2016. Their demo album "Living In Hell" follows. Meanwhile, the young musicians play on numerous stages and qualify to participate at several competitions. "Hard rock is far from dead, especially not in the Rhine Valley..." so comments the press "der Rheintaler". They managed to delight the audience as the supporting act of the world-famous British hard rock band URIAH HEEP. In autumn 2018 they release their second CD "PAINTLESS". In December 2020 they release their third album "ORNAMENT" They remain true to their mission to "bring joy through good solid Rock". NOVOID members include: (in alphabetical order) Beni Krause - Bass Till Stieger - Rhythm Guitar Luis Dominguez - Vocals Phil Keller - Lead Guitar Simon Wagner - Drums for more info please visit: http://www.novoid.ch

Search Add 2 Korey Livy ‘Korey Livy is a man with boundless passion, pride and bucket loads of real life experience – he is a natural storyteller in performance and song. Australian County Music audiences were first introduced to Korey when he toured with “The Brian Young Show’, ‘Tim McGraw Tribute Show’ and of course to a wider audience when he appeared as a contestant on Australian Idol in 2006. A Toyota Star Maker finalists and CMAA graduate, Korey earned his stripes sharing the stage with Australian country greats, Kasey Chambers, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar Daley, Melinda Schneider, Sara Storer and Lee Kernaghan. He cruised around the Caribbean as part of the Grand Ole Opry tour, getting up close and personal with American country greats Brad Paisley, Trace Atkins and Bill Anderson. In 2000 Korey released his debut album ‘Home to You’ with songs penned mostly by him and produced by Nash Chambers. ‘Home To You’ the single worked its way to number 6 on the Country Music Radio charts later seeing Korey nominated for rising star and awarded best new talent at the Australian independent country music awards. Fast-forward to 2007 and Korey began collaboration with Roger Corbett at The Valley Studio to produce his second album "That's The Way We Do It Round Here". This time collecting material from Australia and the US, as well co-writing with Drew McAlister and Roger Corbett. The result being a rollercoaster ride of an album jam-packed with energy and emotion. In between recording albums and touring this award winning artist has given his time and commitment to various charity organisations, helping to raise awareness and much needed funds for Bush Fire Appeals, Cancer Awareness, Camp Quality and the Australian Catholic Church in its appeal to raise funds for the children of East Timor. Korey’s ability to sing you a story and make you laugh or cry is a real testament to his amazing life experiences and skill as a singer and songwriter. In 2011 a grey cloud hung of Korey when He lost his closest friend and father Gerard Livy to a silent battle with depression, leaving him feeling lost and broken. Eventually as Korey describes it, he had to learn to live again. 2012 saw Korey once more team up with some of Australia’s finest songwriters and producers, Garth Porter, Drew McAlister and Roger Corbett, bringing the real life stories and raw emotion of his life into his new Album Route 63. Korey believes that we take a few wrong turns in life but we’re all trying to get back to Route 63, the route of faith and courage. He has faith that there is light at the end of the road and more importantly He has the courage to continue to keep looking for that brand new day. “No more fear………………… of learning to live again”!!!

From their early days, they took part in a long list of events alongside all kinds of bands, both Panamanian and international, which led them to gain strong acceptance within the country’s heavy rock scene. Ayesha studied under Oleg Stepanov for 10 years, both at a pre-tertiary and tertiary level at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. It is this period of study to which she attributes the foundation of her pianistic values, both in terms of the school of piano passed on by her teacher, and the gradual encouragement by other lecturers to explore new mediums. Throughout 2018, she continued study in Italy with Boris Petrushansky at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale "Incontri col Maestro". This year she will begin a Masters degree at the Royal College of Music, London. She has been awarded the Theme and Variations Foundation Award, the Brisbane Club Award, the QCGU Postgraduate Prize, the Joyce Campbell Lloyd scholarship, the Allison/Henderson scholarship, and in early 2017 she participated in the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy. Ayesha has been supported by Variety, the Children’s Charity, of which she is an International Ambassador.

Search Add 2 Olen Kent Born August 31st, 1965 in Yreka, California Olen Kent got started with music at a young age. His grandmother taught him basic guitar chords at six years old while his father supported the family as a professional country musician. The tradition of music goes deep in his family most notable with his uncle, Bobby Kent, who had the number one Billboard country hit in 1958 “Goin’ Down to Albam” (under Mercury Records). Through out his life Olen has played music professionally starting at lounges, pubs, and clubs at eighteen years old. Having lived in many areas of the US including Texas, Oklahoma, and Washington, Oregon has most often been called home. His life has been a rocky road but he never fails to strive forward with what is closest to his heart, music! Olen is a natural with a crowd having experience performing solo and fronting band arrangements. He is known for fronting the band “The Dark” that toured extensively in the northwest US in the ‘90’s. The Dark, disbanded for 5 years, has released two independent albums and fans can still be found throughout the region today. His original music is a unique blend of rock, country, and folk styles led by his broad, rich vocals. Olen often reflects on his challenging life within his music, exploring the beauty of the dark. Though his strongest influences string from his father and uncle, other influences include; Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, and The Doors.

Search Add 2 La Soberana La Soberana is a Uruguayan Murga (traditional carnival group) founded in 1969. Censored and banned by the military-civic dictatorship in 1974, she participated again in the Uruguayan carnival in 1987, 2006 and 2007. History Rooted in the La Comercial neighborhood of Montevideo, the murga was created by José Alanís (later known as "Pepe Veneno"), his brothers César, Luís and Darwin and Ángel "Pelado" Díaz, among others, in the troubled years 1969. year after its creation, they obtain the first prize in the official contest of the Uruguayan carnival, and later they publish several long plays for the disappeared Macondo seal. The political position of the murga, critical of the government of that time, earned her censorship and persecution of its members, who were occasionally deprived of their freedom. The year after the 1973 coup d'etat that ended up installing the dictatorial regime, the murderess parades dressed in national colors and chained through the streets of Montevideo. For this fact it is prohibited and one of its main figures, José "Pepe" Alanís is arrested for "moral attack against the Armed Forces, vilification and derision." After being subjected to torture and a three-year imprisonment, Alanís emigrates to Sweden as a political refugee. After the return to democracy, the murga appears in the contest of 1987, with a style that José "Pepe" Alanis catalogs as "opera-murga", that is, a structured show as a play with an approach, development and outcome In 2006, almost 20 years after his last presentation, he returns to participate in the official contest of murgas of the Uruguayan carnival. Within its ranks are several of its founding members.

He first begins to evolve within his father's church as a singer in a worship group and is at the same time a preacher. He was born on June 8, 1989 and is the third in a Christian family of five children. From a pastor father and a church servant mother, Lord confirmed his Christian faith from the age of 10, during an evangelistic campaign organized at his father's church, a year after the death of his mother. He spent his childhood between his studies and Christian circles. He obtained a state diploma in biology and chemistry at the Boboto College in Kinshasa. In 2009, still a medical student at the Protestant University in Congo (UPC), Lord Lombo left his father's church and joined the Philadelphia Missionary Center, a Pentecostal church of the Assemblies of God , to evolve under the responsibility of Pastor Roland Dalo who becomes his spiritual father. In 2012, he abandoned his medical studies to concentrate on his ecclesiastical passion. Some two months later, he finds a way out for the United States, he goes there to study theology. Three years later, he returned to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and served first as a trainee pastor, then responsible for a few departments within the Philadelphia Missionary Center.
