Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Spielman In Bad Company | »Spielman In Bad Company« fortunately for us! Because in the bleak alleys of the morbid music industry the four country boys cook up a mean stew of music: The soul of the blues apparently survived the apocalypse and shines here in full splendor, spiced with noisy elements from the worlds of electronic and hip hop and everything else picked up along the way. Quirky and full of respect for the old masters of the genre, the quartet has redefined this tradition-steeped music. Because with all the hard-earned life-experience they’ve accumulated they hammer a completely new pulse into the blues in countless jams. Undisguised, gripping — let’s call it neoblues. Ron Spielman has been highly regarded for decades by those in the know for his guitar playing and excellent songwriting. With his new sidekicks Uwe Breunig and Joh Weisgerber (both of „The Ruffcats“) and Werner Goldbach he’s brought himself into bad company.

Search | Add | 2 | Ciunas | Ciunas was a punk rock band which was active during the early years of the 1990s. The original line up of the group featured Rich [Vocals], Gary Fitzpatrick [Guitar], Richie Hatchet [Bass Guitar] and Ash [Drums]. Gary had formerly played with The Bloody Jellies whilst Richie had played bass with Cork punk band Dead Babies Don't Vomit. The lineup did change after Gary and Richie left the band for form Pincher Martin. Ash took over guitar duties with Niall Bowden joining the band on bass guitar. The band recorded a demo tape in 1991. The cassette release was entitled 'We're No Longer Dead On *?!' and featured 7 tracks including 'Police Oppression', 'Do What You Want' and 'Creature Comforts'. Later that year, the band released its debut album 'Visions Of Hell Beyond The 12th Fret' on FOAD Records. The band also contributed tracks to two FOAD Records compilations that year. The first of these, 'The Dirt Behind The Day Dream' featured 'Life' and 'People Defied' while 'The Dirt Behind The Day Dream #2' included 'Traditions'. The band also had two tracks included on the legendary 'A Statement Is A Weapon In An Empty Hand' compilation in 1992. That collection included 'Innocent' and 'Perpetual'. The band split sometime after this. Niall went on to play with both Flexihead and Blood Or Whiskey. He later emigrated to Australia where he continued to play music. 199x - Band formed 1991 - Release of 'We're No Longer Dead On *?!' demo tape - Release of 'Visions Of Hell Beyond The 12th Fret' album - Band contribute 'Life' and 'People Defied' to the 'The Dirt Behind The Day Dream' compilation - Band contribute 'Traditions' to the 'The Dirt Behind The Day Dream #2' compilation 1992 - Band contribute 'Innocent' and 'Perpetual' to the 'A Statement Is A Weapon In An Empty Hand' compilation

Search | Add | 2 | Guten Tag | Czech alternative rock band. Guten Tag from Northern Bohemia became a club and cult legend at its time, and their only CD Maso (Flesh) is the time capsule of the era. Guten Tag clearly sprung from the best traditions of the Czech underground and (then) young musicians added unusual dose of flair and energy. Certain music journalist described the band as darker and more off-beat [a=Už jsme doma] band - maybe due to the use of saxophone. We would describe them more as a crossover of [a=Dog Eat Dog] with original [a=Garáž] band - maybe due to the use of saxophone. However, I just realized - where were Dog Eat Dog when Guten Tag were already blasting the music from the stage? Since the shows were a real musical assault, the CD was titled Maso (Flesh) with a subtitle “hudba/music” to eliminate any possibility that some dorks could confuse it with a product of meat industry. The cover was designed by now also legendary [a=Luboš Drtina]. Leader of the band [a=Petr Mikolášek] later performed under the name [a=Significant Brother], then also in project [a=Significant Other].

The New York group, rounded out by keyboardist Lindsay Jones. Following Quicksand’s dissolution, Vega in 2000 released an EP, “The Ray Martin Sessions,” via GrapeOS. Walker and Buck (on bass) came into the picture on the subsequent tour in support of it, as did Helmet guitarist Chris Traynor, whom Buck later married. Champions Of Sound may surprise fans of Vega’s work with hardcore mainstay Quicksand, as the group’s sound has more in common with the upbeat pop/rock of the Cars and Prince. A new version of “Come Home Soon,” first released on “The Ray Martin Sessions,”

Search | Add | 2 | Paging Mr. Herman | After the demise of the Pittsburgh based Ska/Punk band Skankin' Homer, drummer Drew Philp and guitar player Anthony Milarski teamed up with roadie turned bassist Tony Vinski in the fall of 2000 to form Paging Mr. Herman. After a few songs we're written they introduced the world to their own blend of indie rock, pop punk and ska with their self titled three song EP. Once they were ready they took their act to the stage, opening up for such big names as The Pietasters, Frank Jordan, and The Vacancy, all the while building a very loyal fan base with their energetic live shows. Songs such as "Sooner or Later" and "Senseless" with their catchy choruses quickly became crowd favorites. In the spring of 2003 the members of PMH decided to part ways, but it has been said that once a year they reunite for a private show for only the most loyal of fans. In the meantime you can enjoy the fabulous sound of Paging Mr. Herman with their 10 song LP, Stupidurbia, released in 2004. This CD features a wide variety of songs including Senseless, Sooner or Later, and the ode to hermaphrodites, My Special Girl. Additionally, a digital-only recording of their 10-year Anniversary Reunion show has been released in 2013 and is available for free download.

Search | Add | 2 | Krazy Kraz | DJ KrAzY KrAz, the DJ, Audio Engineer and producer, got his start back in April of 1992 in NYC, when the producer of Boogie Down Productions, KRS-One, Pal Joey (Loves Gonna Get Ya, Black Cop, The Jam, and Hot Music) was having a contest for new rap groups. After 85 auditioning acts, Brothers Of The Mind won and were signed to Pal Joey Productions. Two years later, they landed a deal at Maxi/Max’n Records where the group did three singles, “Stop Scheming”, “Kick Facts” and “Rough & Tough” remixed by “the BeatMinerz” that sold well across the US and Europe, but due to poor promotions, 5 years later, the project ended. Now with his own production company called, “In The Temple Entertainment”, dj KrAzY KrAz attempts again to re-enter the business with a new label who can promote his talented roster of artist and his music.

Search | Add | 2 | SPK/PF(H) | The foundation and development of the SPK (Socialist Patients' Collective) was started in 1968 by Dr. Huber at the Policlinic of the Psychiatric University Clinic, Heidelberg, Germany. After two troubled years including police raids, several arrests and confinements the SPK was strategically dissolved in 1971 in an attempt to prevent further harm to Huber and the patients. In 1972 Dr. Huber and his wife were sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. In 1973 while in solitary confinement in the Stammheim prison Huber proclaimed the Patientenfront (Patients' Front) as a continuation and back-to-the-roots of the SPK, from then on mostly referred to as SPK/PF(H). A full timeline of the SPK/PF can be found here: http://spkpfh.de/Timeline.htm

Search | Add | 2 | Mateusz Merkel | Mateusz Merkel also known as The Acolyte, born in 1990 in Poland started his EDM interest in the late 2002 stealing CD’s from his sister with some funky electro. He found out some harder genres back then such as hardstyle and hardtrance, but unfortunately he lost interest in modern music and went underground with raw industrial and broken beats. He bought his first CDJ’s and started to play with them. He found out mixing is not enough and wanted to mess a little with the sounds as well. His first productions came out in the late 2009 and are developing into any hardcore genre and experimental broken beats and dark atmosphere. He is a co-founder of the free experimental Polish netlabel called [l173813] along with [a1643690] and they both do their best to show not known, but talented producers to the scene and give them a little exposure so the real hardcore junkies would have a sneak peek into the music made by people, for people. He is now doing his best to have the most fun he can out of music along with his label crew, so they’d enjoy the parties they perform at the most.
