Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Grant Birchard | Born and raised in West Chester, PA, Grant was an avid musician from an early age. He came to faith at Church of Saviour in 1980 and, after 12 years serving another church, was recruited in 1992 to help start a new contemporary worship service. The ministry grew very quickly and at its peak has provided upwards of nine worship teams supporting the Praise Team-led services at Church of the Saviour, which are his main oversight. Grant started his degree in music education at West Chester University from '80-'84 planning to be a music teacher. But touring as a keyboardist for gospel and contemporary Christian groups, as well as being a producer/engineer in the recording industry, he redirected his vocations at the beginning of his career. He completed a BA in General Music at Eastern University at age 49 and has recently completed his 22nd year joyfully serving Church of the Saviour's worship ministry.

Search | Add | 2 | Jin Gates | Jin Gates, once known for his impactful music rooted in the gritty realities of East Coast streets, has now transitioned into a role that many wouldn't have predicted – a dynamic entrepreneur and a revered mentor/motivational speaker. His music, originally a reflection of the adversities and triumphs of his life, has now laid the foundation for his mission to inspire and elevate others. From sleeping on various couches spanning Brooklyn to Philadelphia, Jin's resilience knew no bounds. Even during the tumultuous times, he sought knowledge, pursuing his Associate's Degree in Business & Marketing. His passion and determination became evident when, against overwhelming odds, he emerged stronger after a major setback at 25, involving a betrayal and significant legal ramifications. Search | Add | 2 | GI Joe Killaz | Canadian experimental/comedy hip-hop band formed in the early 2000s by electronic music producer [a=Tomas Jirku]. G.I. Joe Killaz released its debut album in 2002, changing the name to [a=The Killaz] after [l=Hasbro]'s "cease & desist" notice. It was a conceptual project depicting "Cobra Collective," a fictional terrorist group from the '80s animated TV series G.I. Joe as a rap trio: featuring Jirku as DJ Cobra Commander, MC Destro and the Baroness. The group debuted in October 2001 with [r=1424338] EP on the Canadian net-label [l=No Type] (which also released most of Jirku's early solo productions). The following year, the trio produced its self-titled album, [r=2215996] CD, published via "Cobra Records" private imprint, manufactured and distributed by a prominent Canadian independent label [l=Alien8 Recordings]. The record featured skillful Tomas Jirku's instrumental productions and copiously sampled the original "G.I. Joe" TV show.

Search | Add | 2 | Jack Spellazza | He has opened for musical icons like Muddy Waters, Billy Joel, the Byrds, and the Boxtops. And he did all of this while he was still in his teens. In 1973 Jack began his yearly trips to L.A. in pursuit of the elusive deal from the music industry. His music always managed to generate interest, but it wasn’t until 1979 when he moved out to L.A. that his dream begin to take shape. Along the way he caught the ears and eyes of Robert Stigwood and Jerry Weintraub. With his musical collaborators his stories and music were able to catch the attention of Disney, Hanna-Barbara, and Dreamworks to name a few. Jack is a song painter in every sense of the word, writing and performing his own unique version of many styles from pop to R&B, Broadway to folk. Throughout the 80’s he performed his original works either as a solo artist or with the group River Debris at various clubs and venues throughout the St. Louis area. In the late 90’s Jack began recording the whimsical children’s musical “Hats For The Elephants” which was drawn from his own childhood memories of the zoo. In 2000, Jack developed “Lights On The Grand Basin,” a musical based on his grandparent’s memories of the 1904 St. Louis World Fair. The musical love story offers an exquisite look at a time when folks from all over the country were saying “Meet Me In St. Louis.” In 2006, Jack received a commission to write a historical musical about one of the earliest river towns in Missouri. “Hills Above The Riverbank” covers 200 years of the history of St. Charles, a town that grew on the banks of the Missouri near the confluence of the Mississippi.
