Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

She had a career in politics from 1994 to 2006, year in which she remixed the song "Pays De Charleroi" as a part of her campaign. Despite not succeeding, this marked the beginning of her musical adventure, lasting until the present day. Throughout these years, Marielle has built a fair fan base on YouTube, which led her to self-releasing her first album "Chic & Chaud", as well as the digital compilation "The Best Of Mary-L". She has sung in French, Spanish, English and Italian.

Their shows are realtime improvised performances to a high degree, making use of stolen footage (‘live plunderphonics’) - samples and microsamples from existing records (oldschool pop, classical music, film soundtracks), combined with own electronically generated sounds, field recordings, etc. Instant unique puzzles made from bits of our common past and present. Flow of unpredictable situations where Madonna meets Edgard Varèse, old computer game music sounds together with the film soundtracks, phragments of J. S. Bach or socialist pop icons. Voice Over Noise are the live recycle bin of our postmodern culture: noisy, energetic, sometimes funny, but also sentimental refreshment of our collective memory.

Search Add 2 Meadow Creek “Meadow Creek” is a duo (and also Mr and Mrs) Linda and Peter Dahl from Degerfors. Linda is a singer and songwriter who got her first record deal at the age of 17 when she was the lead singer in the band “Angel”. A few years later, the band got a hit with the song “Sommaren i city”, which became a Swedish summer classic, and is still played regularly at Swedish radio. Peter is a multi-instrumentalist / producer and songwriter who started as a touring guitarist at the age of 11. (!) As a member of the cover band “Peckas Pack” he has cut off most of Sweden’s party scenes. In 1996, the couple Dahl joined and started one of Sweden’s first ABBA tribute shows together with some friends from Stockholm, “S.O.S – a tribute to ABBA”, touring in both Sweden and the rest of Europe for 16 years! Meanwhile their love for bluegrass and country music grew stronger and Linda and Peter started the band “Whisky & Dynamite” which became very popular on the Swedish country scenes. W & D recorded and released 2 albums in 2006-2009 and their songs entered radio stations all over the world. As songwriters, the couple has written a lot of songs among various artists / bands for example: Roger Pontare, Streaplers, Blender, Sten & Stanley, Drifters, Fernandoz, Barbados, Black Jack and Fryd & Gammen, Fernandoz and others. They have had several songs at “Svensktoppen” and they also wrote the song who won “Melodifestivalen” in Sweden in the year of 2000. Their song “När vindarna viskar mitt namn” (cowriter : Thomas Holmstrand) was performed by the artist Roger Pontare. The song won the Swedish final and then ended up at 7th in Eurovision Song Contest. They also competed in other countries selections for the Eurovision song contest. In 2016 they wrote the song “Golden Frame” (artist: Matilda & Stefan) who won the regional final in “Svensktoppen nästa”, which Sveriges Radio P4 organizes. In recent years, the couple also worked with Starlab Publishing and wrote J-pop and K-pop songs to the Asian market. Right now, the radar couple Dahl is in focus with their new duo “Meadow Creek”, and released their debut album ”Til death do us part” in December 2017 . It’s mostly their own material in the style of singer-songwriter / country / Americana or “swedicana” as a reviewer called their style. Producer of the record is Göran Eriksson (Black Lake Music), which is known as the band leader / guitarist in Jill Johnson’s band. In the beginning of 2019 Meadow Creek signed with “Lamon Records Nashville” who is now promoting the duo in the states and worldwide.

The Frankfurt Concert Choir was founded in 1969 with the aim of organising highly qualified performances of sophisticated works of music literature from the late Middle Ages to modern times. For over 40 years, it has established itself as an integral part of cultural life in Frankfurt. The choir community is made up of singers of different ages and professions and offers its members the opportunity to study complex musical works. It saw itself as an open community, accessible to all ambitious singers, which made it possible to take the step from passive consumption to conscious engagement with music and active participation in musical life. In addition to renowned international vocal soloists, national and international ensembles and orchestras took part in the performances. Some of the choir members took part in opera performances in the Bad Hersfeld Stiftsruine on a voluntary basis. The choir has also participated in numerous recordings on the [l835380] label.

Search Add 2 Kärääng A review of recent times describes the successful history of a rock band with Finnish roots: KÄRÄNG. Since the first concert until today the 5-piece formation has been captivating their audience. The band members, all of whom have been active in the music scene for many years, together with KÄRÄNG form the antithesis to the numerous "cover combos" of these days. Since the band's foundation, Kai Rogowski (drums), Thorsten Nau (bass), Tim Weckerle (keyboards), Björn Dinges (guitar) and Jens Ohrndorf (vocals) have always made a point of providing their audience with their own "musical material". So it's obvious that the five feel more at home on the stages of. Stylistically, KÄRÄNG probably fits best into the "rock/pop drawer", although the band does not like to be fixed to a certain style. The most diverse influences from other musical styles are often found in KÄRÄNG's own songs. In addition, the band wants to constantly develop, be open for new things and musically not stand still. The Kärääng songs still stand for hit potential, catchy tunes and German lyrics. After all, one wants to argue convincingly not only musically but also verbally! In addition to live music, the band's programme includes a sophisticated show and stage performance, which is individually adapted to each event and, if required, is accompanied by multimedia special effects. But only those who have seen the five in action, heard their music and experienced their performance live will know which event is behind KÄRÄNG!
