Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

She continued to push through, graduating college early, earning a Master’s degree by age 22, all while participating in political and community affairs, in addition to learning the arts. "My varied background made me strong and is the reason I wear so many hats today." says Rysque. By hats, she consults indie companies, produces music and films, and does occasional acting. He won an Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts program when he was eight years old. He was hailed at a young age as a child prodigy and appeared on radio and TV, playing with symphony orchestras. He was taught by Edward Weiss, the famed pupil of Busoni. He was called "rather self‐indulgent, emotional pianist, who likes sharp contrasts and much rubato" when he was a young player in 1964 but seven years later said he "has made significant progress, producing a mellow, quite lovely keyboard tone". He recorded for Columbia’s subsidiary Epic label. He issued a Gershwin album in 1959 but a car accident damaged his hands in the 1960's. He continued to play but in a diminished capacity. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Double Mute | Double Mute is a venture founded by Jacob Rosenberg (co-founder of Vitam Aeternam, Desperate Machines, and In Progress). Their mission statement is simple: CORPORATE MUSIC FOR CORPORATE PEOPLE. Originally created in a silo, Rosenberg strategically pivoted and merged with other innovative thought leaders in the space to build a network and unlock the project's full musical potential. Corporate Culture is a proof of concept or minimal viable product (MVP) designed to overwhelm the senses and fill listeners with a sense of dread and a healthy “case of the Mondays.” Its forward-thinking blend of pop, noise rock, industrial, funk metal, and chamber music tested off the charts in focus groups and is now ready for public consumption. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | мʌvʌ | мʌvʌ is audiovisual artist who comes from Slovakia. Prior to songwriting, he had been writing poetry for several years. He never attended any music classes, so to compensate for it he started experimenting with different sounds, structures, rhythms and melodies. After recording some virtual piano demos at dorm which later turned into songs, he self-released debut album "Sinusoidal" under artistic name мʌvʌ in April 2016. Sonically, the record is a tilting mix of artificial and organic sounds, heaviness represented by grandiose church pipe and reed organs and lightness by uplifting solemn synth strings. In 2017, short 4-track EP of covers titled "Lues" came to life. It comprises of his own renditions of popular tracks from the late 50’s and early 60’s era. Trying to improve his skills, мʌvʌ decided to teach himself acoustic guitar. These attempts gave birth to the sophomore acoustic record "Enklávy bezlesia" [in English "Forest-free Enclaves"]. All songs (unlike those on the first album) are sung in Slovak language andhave their individual audiovisual presentation (music video, lyric video, photographies, herbarium). The album is primarily based on wordplay and its style is called "Slovák retrogard" in order to refer to the retrospective aspect of lyrics presented in new unorthodox context. The third record titled "Sun & Moon" explores living in the nether world with intricate animal aesthetics conveyed by vocal experiments, combining organic instrumentals with gloomy sounds of vintage synths. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | HEDONIKA | Origin: Poznan, wielkopolskie, Poland Genres: rock, blues, alternative Years active: 2013 - Final lineup: Wojtek Badowski - lead vocals; Kamil Słodkiewicz - guitars; Jacek Chlebowski - bass; Krzysztof Płóciennik - sampler, trumpet; Piotr Marcinkowski - drums Hedonika is a musical and theatrical narrative that combines real stories. Something we know from autopsy, something our friends say something that listeners come to us with. From these stories we create an image of our way of life, our relationships with other people, priorities and aspirations. We do not change the world. We simply report, giving rise to a discussion about a man. In Hedonika's musical tales, as important as WORD, MUSIC and INTERPRETATION, is DIALOG with listeners. We know that each meeting brings with it a great value of interaction. We all use this wealth, and Hedonika's concerts usually become an original, unique, engaging and inspiring CONVERSATION. That is why we are the most pleased to appear in places conducive to close contact with listeners and viewers. Theater scenes, small clubs, atmospheric landscapes and even home performances for a small audience - each performance is a new experience for us, another part of the narrative puzzle. Hedonica's music derives directly from the mainstream of the author's song. Thanks to the multitude of inspirations and the flammable mix of musical tastes of the band's members, subsequent compositions are also surprising for the creators themselves. The founder of the band and its leader, as well as the author of most of the compositions, is Wojtek Badowski (vocal). The musicians - Kamil Słodkiewicz (guitar), Jacek Chlebowski (bass), Piotr Marcinkowski (drums) and Krzysztof Płóciennik (sampler) - are actively involved in the creation of the musical and theatrical spectacle. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Frozen Silk | Band info (Info state 11|2020) FROZEN SILK - that's hot and powerful power rock from Bremerhaven, which is its personal genre defined in a thrilling mixture of catchy pop elements and grooving heavy hard rock! This impressive stylistic variety is supported by the characteristic voice of the front woman Sharon Wynne, who captures the full range of deep emotions with her expressive singing, from pure energy and willpower to deep melancholic abysses, brought to life. Biography: FROZEN SILK was founded in 1997 under the name "SILK" in Bremerhaven and was able to convince its audience and critics with numerous performances in its debut year. After the band won the renowned "Live in Bremen" music contest in 1999, they presented their highly acclaimed debut album "Power" the very next year, which was released under the now extended band name "SILK 99" on the Superrock-Records label and subsequently pre- sented live on a nationwide promotion tour. After more than 100 equally successful and ex- hausting performances, the band members decided in 2006 to go their separate ways and pursue their own projects. Fortunately, this decision was already revised in 2011, so that a new chapter of the band was opened under the name FROZEN SILK with only slightly changed original line-up. Since 2011 FROZEN SILK has been a constant guest on regional and nationwide stages and has made a more than good name for itself as a rousing live act. The band not forgets to transmit their musical power to the audience again and again, but also to demonstrate their qualities to critics, editors and presenters. Since 2018, the four musicians of FROZEN SILK have also been retreating into the studio again and again to work on material for a new album in parallel to their live activities. The re- lease of "Back to life" is scheduled for spring 2021. Line-Up: vocals - guitar - bass - drums - Sharon Wynne Normel Müdeking Rolf Lange Christian Schmutzer Highlights so far since 2011: - Deichbrand open air festival in 2017 - Final Emergenza music contest (Hamburg/Markthalle) in 2016 - Support Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld) in 2015 - Shows in the London YouTube-Studios and at Alley Cat (London) in 2014 The stage has been shared so far with a.o.: Kleinstadthelden, Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld), Terrorgruppe, Hurricane Dean, Anchors & Hearts, She ́s got Balls, Faak Marvin, Rauschenberger u.v.m. | Search | Add | 3 | Shantykoor De Headammers | Back to the atmosphere of the nostalgic sailor life, that is the intended goal of Shantykoor “De Headammers”. This choir was founded in 1989 and is part of “Water sports association St. Nicolaasga”. The choir consists of a number of basses and tenors and is accompanied by a few accordionists. Two- or polyphonic songs are alternated by songs with solo singing (shantyman) and follow-up singing (the proper shantys). Most songs are sung in German, English and Dutch or in Pidgin-English a mixture of several languages. You will be transported back a hundred, two hundred years to the heyday of sailing with clippers and schooners and to harbor districts all over the world. During the day it was very busy there and at night the sailors wasted their hard-earned money in a short time. The crews consisted of tough tough guys from all over the world, who were recruited in the harbor bars. This is how rhythmic work songs, “shanties”, and cheerful or melancholic songs for leisure time, “forbitters”, were created, the musical ingredients of the adventurous but hard seaman's life. | |
