Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Tokio Whores | Eduardo Martínez-Piñeiro | Tokio Whores is Eduardo's latest and most provocative alias (July 13, 1983), a hyperactive, rowdy producer, music selector, and avant-garde Mallorcan music obsessive with a feral edge. With over two decades immersed in the underground, he infuses every set and production with a singular, unapologetic bite. Each of his aliases carves out an era, a vibe, or a seismic shift in his sonic odyssey. Under the Tokio Whores banner, he conjures electro's razor-sharp pulses, ambient's hazy drifts, experimental soundscapes that twist the mind, and brooding soundtracks that score unspoken desires. His latest album, dropped in 2025, erupts as a fever-dream dispatch from neon-lit shadows—layering glitchy electro hooks with vaporous ambient swells, fractured experiments, and film-noir scores that pull you under. Since founding Kontemplationwelt Records in 2004—distributed by Decoder Muzique and championed by MusicMonsta—Eduardo has weaponized this alias via his legendary Calavera Club parties, igniting the nights of Mallorca, Barcelona, and Alicante. Strap in: this is audio insurgency, no safe words required. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mic Gillette Band | Band members: Mic Gillette (horns), Andres Soto (saxes), Clinton Day (bass, vocals), Jason Stewart (guitar), Ryan Habegger (keyboard), Mark Foglia (drums), Megan Gillette McCarthy (vocals/percussion) Mic Gillette is the world-renowned trumpet and trombone player who has appeared on countless CDs and record albums, spanning five decades, for some of the biggest names in the business, including a dozen members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mic's musical career has spanned many decades and his father was the most influential person in making music his life. After touring for many years with Tower of Power he decided to settle down with his family. He has since began a program called, "Music in the Schools" to help struggling music programs nationwide to keep their doors open. He continues to teach, record, arrange and play live gigs in Northern California. Mic is best known for 40+ years of stellar horns work with Cold Blood, Tower of Power, and the Sons of Champlin. But not as many people realize that he has appeared on countless albums and CDs for some of the biggest names in the music business--Santana, The Rolling Stones, Sheryl Crow, Doobie Brothers, Quincy Jones, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Jefferson Starship, Huey Lewis and the News, and numerous others. Mic also enjoyed a brief stint with Blood, Sweat & Tears. An original member and leader of the legendary Tower of Power Horn Section, Mic has also established an enviable reputation for his work with youth and school bands. In particular, his affinity for working with middle school and high school students has endeared him to a whole new generation of fans in the 21st century. In August 2009, Mic rejoined Tower of Power on a full-time basis after a 25-year absence, a position he held until February 2011. The Mic Gillette Band released 2 CDs Moondoggy and Turning Two. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Phillip Watkins | Phillip started his career at the age of three, when he sang at the local Independent Chapel, Saron, where his mother was the organist. He and his elder brother Elved won many prizes in local Eisteddfodau as duettists. Eventually Phillip emerged as a boy treble, and began his serious competitive career at the age of eight. Today one can count a hundred and twenty eight cups glittering in the glass cupboard at Castell Du Farm, his home, not to mention his medals and shields. He won twice at the Urdd Eisteddfod, but perhaps his most prized possession is the trophy which he won at the Royal National Eisteddfod, Flint, in 1969, when he sang Benjamin Britten's The Plough Boy'. When one adds all this to his concert work, his recordings and his Radio and T.V. performances one cannot but marvel at this achievement from a boy of fifteen. His first major concert was at Tabernacle, Morriston, in the company of operatic stars John Lawrenson, Victoria Elliot and the Morriston Tabernacle Choir conducted by Alun John. This was quickly followed by his appearance as a soloist, with combined choirs of 500 voices, at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea. Subsequently, he enthralled 7,000 people at the Royal Albert Hall in a St. David's Day concert staged by the London Welsh Association. The Royal Opera House, Covcnt Garden, invited Phillip to sing seven performances as the shepherd boy in the opera Tosca'. Unfortunately, Phillip had to decline this invitation due to school examinations. He has appeared on Yorkshire T.V. with Harry Secombe in 'Stars on Sunday' and has featured in numerous BBC Wales programmes such as 'Telewele', Disc a Dawn, New o'r Ncwvdd, and Wales Today for World Service Radio. Phillip's first long playing disc was made at the Royal Albert Hall in November 1969, with the Royal Choral Society in a selection of Christmas Carols and conducted by Wyn Morris. The mature quality of his voice and his 'extreme professionalism', to quote one noble critic, united to make him one of the greatest boy soloists. | |

Born in Kurihara-city, Miyagi Prefecture, Sugawara got hooked on blues music while he was in his teens and soon started to play in a band, but stopped playing after awhile. In 2014, when he was in his 50s, he suddenly started playing in the blues scene. In 2018, he released his debut album “Down Home” on King Records of Japan with Yuji Hamaguchi (guitar) as a supporting member. And in 2021, second album “F no Gospel (Gospel in F)” was released by Sidecar Monkey Records with Atsushi Sano and Yoshiki Sakurai as supporting musicians. (Sano also produced the album) Sugawara’s focus on unearthing old-time blues, gospel and folk music adding unique touch to illustrate his own world of music has been highly praised by fans, musicians and alike. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ziggydale Zigfreid | A Tennessee based southern rock musician who performed at many biker events and opened for David Allan Coe. When Sony Music Nashville was promoting Billy Ray Cyrus' single "Burn Down The Trailer Park," which included the line "shoot the pink flamingos out in the yard", Sony staffers placed flamingos in yards up and down Music Row. One night Ziggydale had just finished cutting the track "Freebird Trailer Park" in a Music Row studio and gathered all the flamingos taking them hostage. He left a headless flamingo at Sony's front door with a note that read, "If you want the rest of your flamingos returned, unharmed, you will listen to my music and give us airplay." A copy of his CD, "Only Rebel Child," was left with the note and headless bird. The next day he sent faxes to Sony and WKDF with pictures of headless flamingos stating, until his song was played on 103.3 they would execute one bird a day. | |
