Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Forms a rap duo called "Dodelijk Duo" (Deadly Duo) alongside his cousin "Seyko" aka Chirre. Refuses to perform live but instead offers his work for free to whoever wants to listen and be inspired. Doesn't see his work as an art-form but more as a personal diary, hence, doesn't call himself a musician or musical artist, but prefers poët, writer. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Cantor Samuel Heber | St. Louis, Missouri Born in Lodz, Poland in 1928, Cantor Samuel Heber was a young boy when he arrived in the USA on January 1940. Narrowly escaping Europe just before the Nazis invaded Paris, he eventually made his home in St. Louis MO. He studied Chazzanus under the famed cantor and composer Joshua Weiser in his youth and received his ordination from the Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY in 1952. It was at this time that he was invited to St. Louis MO to become a Hazzan at the city’s largest Orthodox congregation. He served as Cantor at Tpheris Israel Chevra Kadisha Congregation in St. Louis, MO until 1973 and officiated at Chesed Shel Emes Congregation (now U.CityShul) for a decade after. His lyric tenor voice with baritone qualities was unusually brilliant in tone and emotional in warmth. He appeared before audiences throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe. In 1968 while attending the International Conference of Cantors and Choirs in Israel he was invited to perform in the home of Israel's third president, Zalman Shazar. Even in his later years he was sought after as a High Holy Day Cantor in congregations around the world. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ioana Mândrescu | Ioana Mândrescu is a Romanian born sound artist and musician. She is a classical pianist and completed her music studies in her home country, France and Belgium. Her interest in contemporary music was stirred during the time spent at École Normale de Musique 'Alfred Cortot' in Paris. This led to the foundation of two contemporary music groups, Quivir Ensemble, based in Spain and Switzerland and Opia Ensemble, based in Belgium. Strongly influenced by choreography and painting, in the past years she developed, together with her groups, performances that brought together sound, film and dance. They were presented in Belgium – Bozar Opening Night 2015, Festival Courants d'Airs, Poland – FAMA Festival and Iran – First Edition of the Contemporary Music Festival in Tehran. Her life-long involvement with music and her interest in field recordings and the universe of digital sound manipulation led her naturally towards sound art, which led her to study at EPAS programme in Ghent (BE), graduating in 2018. Her main interests are the human voice and human produced sounds and their impact on the way we perceive the world. She is currently working on a database of human voices and on several sound-collage pieces that mark distinct moments in human history. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Den Bacchanaliska Kören I Par Bricole | Sweden's and the Nordic countries' oldest still active men's choir with about 60 singing members. DBK was founded in 1829 in connection with the unveiling of the Bellman bust at Djurgården on July 26, when the first appearance took place. Since then, the choir at the bust appears this day as part of a ceremony arranged by the Society Par Bricole, which Bellman himself was involved in founding in 1779. The choir also has many other engagements within and outside the Society, concerts and choir trips as well as private events. The choir's repertoire has traditionally placed its emphasis on Nordic choral poetry, not least C. M. Bellman's music, which is partly composed with a society in mind. Other pieces specially written for the Society are also performed every year. At external performances, there is both sacred and profane music with emphasis on the 19th century and early 20th century, but both modern and early music have occurred. The choir has standing performances at the Society's gatherings in Stockholm; in Jacobs Church, in the Bellman House, on Hasselbacken and at the Grand Hotel. In addition to private singing for various companies and organizations, the choir has had its own external concerts, including in Gustaf Vasa Church, the Concert Hall and the Berwald Hall. Concert tours are carried out at regular intervals and previous destinations include Malta, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, France, the USA and Japan. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Inconsolable Ghost | “tapping into signals from beyond, broadcasting into haunted cinemas…” Inconsolable Ghost is an occult audio-visual group produced by Hilary Jeffery and Gideon Kiers, former members of The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation. Conjuring up a twenty-first century vision of spiritism and occupying a similarly spooky territory as Kilimanjaro / Fuji, this project works with several well known artists who are conceived as channellers of energies, atmospheres, ghosts, spirits, thought forms and other entities. Inconsolable Ghost live shows are deeply atmospheric channelling events, as anyone who witnessed their early channelling events can testify to. The first channelling took place at OT301 – the old film academy in Amsterdam – there followed two Central European tours in 2014 and 2015 which brought the group to Vienna, Bratislava, Topolcany, Budapest, Ostrava and Zagreb. These tours featured collaborations with the Japanese filmmaker Makino Takashi, the Hungarian viola player Zsolt Sőrés, the Berlin duo Hacklander \ Hatam and the Australian cellist Anthea Caddy. Since 2014, the invited channellers have been: Zsolt Sőrés (Ahad) – viola, electronics, voice Anthea Caddy – cello Charlotte Cegarra – voice, computer Colin Hacklander – drums Farahnaz Hatam – computer Alfredo Genovesi – guitar, electronics Miodrag Gladović – guitar, computer Hilary Jeffery – trombone, electronics, voice Gideon Kiers – computer, electronics, video Ralf Meinz – live sound, electronics Gianpaolo Peres – voice Makino Takashi – film, sound Raphael Vanoli – guitar, electronics | |
