Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | The Jetbeats | The JetBeats are a vintage Rock & Roll combo from Grand Rapids. The members were brought together over a common obsession with the savage early 60’s Rock&Roll sound, incubated in the British beat sound of the early 60’s and into the British Invasion. The group features Guitarist/Vocalist Morgan May Moallemian (The Deans), Bassist/Vocalist Ben Erhart (The Official Theives, Glen Danles), Guitarist/Vocalist AJ Dunning (The Verve Pipe, The Cones), and Drummer DJ McCoy (Delilah DeWylde & The Lost Boys). The group's mission is to reintroduce the world to the raw excitement of early 60’s style. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Luigi Risotto | Colin McEwan | Australian TV comedian, television presenter and actor. Born 1941 Scotland. Died 21 August 2005, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Best known for appearing on both stage and TV versions of The Naked Vicar Show, and for his role as "Bob Bullpitt" in Kingswood Country. McEwan migrated from Scotland as a child, & was a long-time breakfast announcer on 3AK radio in Melbourne, where he created the character of taxi driver Luigi Risotto, and also made regular appearances on the TV variety program In Melbourne Tonight. In 1975 Luigi recorded a single for Fable Records a version of Rolf Harris’s “Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport” b/w “If I Should Plant A Tiny Seed Of Love” (FB- 240). But McEwan was most popular for the stage and TV productions of the irreverent Naked Vicar Show in the 1970s and Kingswood Country in the 1980s, in which he played Datsun dealer Bob Bulpitt, the annoying brother of Kingswood-mad Ted Bulpitt. |

| Search | Add | 2 | 4 Bel-Aires | The 4 Bel-Aires represent the many, many R&B groups that recorded a single record and then seemingly faded completely out of sight. The start of the 4 Bel-Aires was at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, in Georgetown, D.C. There, in 1955, bass Vernon Ricks and baritone Robert "Slick" Russell started harmonizing on R&B songs when they worked in the kitchen on Sunday mornings. They were eventually joined by first tenor Alfred "Nookie" Robinson (whose name is usually shown, incorrectly, as "Albert"). © 2007, 2009 by Marv Goldberg | |

Singer/Songwriter Dave Cassell and Drummer Oscar Hermosillo are first cousins and have been playing music together since the age of 13. They played in a band together throughout high school. After High School, Oscar went to the University of California Santa Barbara where he met and lived with Guitarist/Producer and Mix Master Harold Lee and Bass Player/Player Chris Ohno for over 7 years. Dave continued playing and touring with a band called Applekore. In about May of 1993, Dave's band broke up and so did Harold's infamous Los Guys, another band that toured and played for several years here and even in China. Chris and Oscar were practicing riffs in -the garage- Santa Barbara for Santa Mierda, a band that had members of every band within a 12 mile radius and no songs. Chris and Oscar thought it would be a good idea to start playing actual songs and decided to call Dave and talk to Harold about starting a band. Within a few days, Dave packed his stuff, moved to Santa Barbara and Rice N Beans was created. Rice N Beans played in the Santa Barbara area and traveled whenever possible for about 3 years. In the Santa Barbara area, Rice N Beans shared the stage with Snot, Dishwalla, Nutmeg, and many other great acts. In 1996, Oscar, the drummer, decided that L.A. was the place to be and moved to the City of Highland Park in Los Angeles. He started hanging out at a place called the Peace and Justice Center in Downtown L.A. and several other warehouses occupied by active artists, musicians and others involved with the advancement of the arts and its people. At these warehouses, the following bands were created and/or performed: Blues Experiment, Ozomatli, Aztlan Underground, Quetzal, Ollin, Very Be Careful, Quinto Sol, and many others. Performers such as HR from the Bad Brains, Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against The Machine, members of the Watts Prophets and many other artists residing in L.A. often did spoken word or played with projects they were participating in. Rice N Beans started playing L.A. on a regular basis and released their first full length CD called POLVO. It was self-produced under the Rice N Beans record label called Chupa Cabra Records. The other three members of Rice N Beans Living in Santa Barbara eventually moved to Los Angeles. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Restone | Synthetisers, bell-bottom pants and red glasses… There is no doubt, Restone is a Funk music producer. He even claims to come straight from the 80s. It hardly seems credible given his young age, but he says he traveled in time after a handling mistake on a vintage keyboard. The device, picked up a few weeks earlier at a flea market, had started to shake before disappearing… With Restone! The musician was officially reported missing on October 4, 1984, putting an abrupt end to his budding career. It's only in the last few years that it's come back to life. He has now decided to resume his musical career. Determined to keep this music alive with respect for sound and tradition, he still works exclusively with real musicians and the machines of the time. To this day, this testimony is considered one of the most credible and disturbing accounts of time travel. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Huntsman's Apology | The Huntsman's Apology - so named after a poem by Irish poet John Montague - was founded in the early nineties in Rotterdam by brothers Eric and Pim Boekesteyn. Originally a four piece, featuring Fred Stekelenburg on guitar and Hans Klop on bass, their setlist was fed on an eclectic choice of covers by Nick Drake, Tim Buckley, and more obscure folksongs. Soon however, these were traded for original material, especially after the arrival of Dorine Hehemann, whose brilliant violin playing and tender voice directed the band towards a more defined style: A unique blend of rock, classical sounds, folk and underground, with a melancholy twist. Following a number of acoustic radio sessions, the band started to experiment and include electric guitars in their sound. The departure of Hans Klop sounded the bell for a whole new era, with Luc Bunt on electric bass and Holger Breek on drums. They provided the songs with an edge, where tender folk could explode in mayhem of total abandon, and often within seconds. This line-up recorded the debut album 'Snare' in 1997. Its release met with excellent Dutch press and secured them a spot on the prestigious Crossing Border Festival. | |
