Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | The UWF All-Stars | The popularity of classic funk/R&B/soul acts performing in the US and abroad started to expand in the mid-1990s on events like the awarded Sinbad's Summer Jam: '70s Soul Music Festival. Bobby Harris decided to form a tribute band with members from the The Bar-Kays, Con Funk Shun, Gap Band and the SOS Band, called the United We Funk All-Stars. A studio album followed, including a tribute to the late Roger Troutman, who performs on the album as well. Other artists from the genre who contributed to the album were the late Rick James and System. The concept was also captured on a live CD, presented and promoted by radio jockey Tom Joyner, who made the announcements on the UWF-All Stars shows.

Remix?!". He founded "Dopamin Records" in 2005 in order to release his tracks and to organize parties in Germany. He has also a freaking liveshow. Since mid 2008 N-Dorphin is not active anymore. Search | Add | 6 | Cosmo Fraser | Cosmo Fraser is not your typical reggae singer/recording artist. From Westmoreland, a Jamaican Parish near Negril Beach, Cosmo's route to recording reggae came via a totally different route than most of the island's historic artists. It began like the careers of American soul artists: Stevie Wonder, Carl Carlton, Darrow Fletcher, Lucky Peterson, Gladys Knight, Michael Jackson, and other child prodigies, which Fraser most definitely was, but neither he nor his parents pursued or pushed him towards music. Though he won amateur contests all over the island as a child and had the goods of an exciting entertainer, he instead, at the age of 19, came to America to further his education. He holds multiple bachelor degrees from Columbia University and a medical degree from the State University of New York -- not your typical reggae singer by any stretch of the imagination; and he's not just sitting on the med. degree, he's a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and Chief of Geriatric Nephrology at the VA Medical Center in the Bay Area, and makes all encompassing reggae music as well -- again, not your typical reggae singer. The renown biomedical researcher, a.k.a. the Singing Doctor, has found the time to cut two albums to date: Reggae Music Man (a compilation done with fellow doctors) on Daktari Records (1995) and Fire This Time, his solo debut for Ruff Stuff Records (originally on Ginger Girl) released in 1998. Like any significant reggae singer, songs of social justice and injustice are a part of his repertoire, yet it's hard to picture Fraser leading a rebellion. He performs all over California and different venues and on reggae television specials; he travels to Canada to be part of their lauded Urban Fests and garners other choice gigs -- when you're not starving you can be picky. An enthusiastic entertainer, Fraser often jumps off the stage and boogies with the audience; his most popular opening number is a dancehall version of "Mission Impossible." In addition to singing, Fraser's an accomplished songwriter and writes most of his material.

Search | Add | 6 | Three Blonde Mice | The Three Blond Mice started out as three blond teenage girls who often performed on the Gene Carroll Show, a Cleveland TV variety show that included amateur and semi-professional musicians and dancers. The original three were Mary Lou Mural, Sandy Mooney, and Ramona (Mona) Garcia. In 1965, the group was renamed [a1777426], with new member Bonnie Racin replacing Mary. This group released a 45 on Ascot. Over the next several years, the group had some different members and eventually as the girls grew up the group became dormant. Sometime around 1972 the group was reactivated with Sandy and Ramona and new third member. called. They restarted as The Promises, and a new record deal with [l14624]. Their first record was a gender changed remake of a lesser [a17970] hit called "Living in the Footsteps of Another Man". This record got some airplay in Cleveland and other cities, and Brunswick (on their BRC subsidiary) released a second 45 of similar quality smooth soul-ish sounds. The song "This Love Is Real" was a remake of a Jackie Wilson recording. This was their last 45, though. There has been rumours that an LP was recorded but nothing to verify that it was ever completed.

Four male singers, accompanied by electric guitars, percussion and accordion, they were one of the first "Beatle-esque" groups from Canada. The accordion has a special place and preserves a traditional flavour in dance pieces such as waltzes, tangos, rhumbas, fox-trots, hopaks and other Ukrainian dances. The more contemporary pieces in the Anglo-American style are dominated by guitars and percussion. The tonality of the voices is anglicized, yet the harmony remains traditional and the tempos, dynamic and rapid. Finally, the rhythmic effects are emphasized by accentuated off-beat rhythms. The group released 5 albums. Andrij Harasymowycz - Vocals, Guitar Ewhen Osidacz - Accordion George Sztyk - Bass Stepan Andrusiak - Drums |

Search | Add | 6 | Anders Monrad | Danish composer of modern classical music Anders Monrad (b. 1981) began playing the piano at the age of 6, and started composing as a teenager. Monrad received his undergraduate degree from Copenhagen University and Business School. Since 2006 he has studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Bent Sørensen, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow and Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg. As a composer Monrad gets his inspiration from different musical genres and conventions, and he is an avid collector of obscure old LP`s - with tastes ranging from early electronic music, and psychedelic rock to various kitsch genres. He is very inspired by the American composer John Zorn, whose poly-stylistic approach and rejection of the dichotomy between “High Brow” and “Low Brow” culture stands, Monrad sees as one of the most important developments in late 20th century musical aesthetics. In addition to composition, Monrad is active as a painter, music critic and writer.
