Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Grupo Illiniza | Grupo illiniza (also known as illiniza) is a cultural association from Ecuador centered in Popular Latin American music since 1979. It has been recognized as one of the most influential musical ensembles in the country. Grupo illiniza was established in 1979 in Quito city and debuted on TV by winning a national music contest. The ensemble was created with the idea of culturally linking and preserving the different nationalities and music of the communities that make up Latin America. It all began at the Instituto Nacional Mejía of Quito, a high school made up of city youth, some of whom were quite concerned about the reality of the time, and wanted to do something proactively in order to change things and influence people in a positive way. To talk about Latin America, its music and traditions, means speaking about its cultural identity. Only by getting closer to those communities that still preserve the roots of their nationhood and engaging with their different cultural manifestations (i.e. song, music, dance, art), can we begin to understand the reasons for their behavior, assess their roles in history and their struggles to preserve a millenarian, multicultural heritage that has defied the incessant alienation to which it has been subjected. Grupo illiniza has performed on stage next to musicians and dancing ensembles from Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia such as Inti-Illimani, Joan Manuel Serrat, Luis Eduardo Aute, Mercedes Sosa, Silvio Rodríguez, León Gieco, The Moscow Ballet, Piero De Benedictis, Alex Alvear, Los Olimareños, Los Visconti, Tito Fernández, Illapu, Gabino Palomares, Los Folkloristas, Pete Seeger, Holly Near, Bernice Johnson Reagon, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Vicente Feliú, Tania Libertad, Quinteto Tiempo, Manuel Capella, Grupo Raiz, Noel Nicola, Kosetsu Minami, Adrian Goizueta, Pueblo Nuevo, Jaime Guevara, Roy Brown, Carlos Díaz "Caíto", Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy, among others. The members of the group are generally invited to tour European or American countries with the purpose of sharing their repertoire which is varied and elaborate, demonstrating instrumental and vocal virtuosity in festivals and concerts that include performing genres such as fusion, world music, folk, Latin, trova, Afro Caribbean, Andean, Brazilian, and nueva canción, among others. In 2010 Grupo illiniza received several Awards in a national music composition contest entitled Canción de los Andes which is organized yearly by the Education Ministry of Ecuador. The categories include Innovation of Musical Genre and Execution of musical instruments. Throughout its long musical career spanning over 30 years, the Association has received several National and International awards as well as distinctions including trophies, gold and silver medals, certifications in European as well as American music and dance competitions, festivals and concert performances. They have also been awarded the prestigious title Ambassadors of Art and Friendship in Belgium. Two books and other publications cite Grupo illiniza as a reference in various musical genres. These include Andean Music and Ecuadorian Musical Groups. Grupo illiniza has been recognized by respected musicologists like director and musical composer Julio Bueno as being one of the most important representative groups of Ecuador's popular music. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Trick-C | Carmen | Trick-C. (DJ,organisator, producer) First lady of Slovenian techno has been firmly stuck behind turntables for over a decade. As a DJ and party organiser she has established herself within the international campaign Urban Divas attracting ladies devoted to dance electronics and their adherents of various artistic expressions. Lately she has also been succeeding with her original production which, just like her sets, feeds on deep underground. * * * * * * * * * * If it's true that regular change of environment is of key importance for artists, the “mother of Prlekija techno” is on a good path to be printed in bold in clubbing annals. A girl form Štajerska born in Germany was assigned a music career at birth. Her mother decided to call her Claudia, but in the maternity ward she was crying so beautifully and loud that nurses changed her name to Carmen with regard to the opera of the same name, as she only slept if she was given earphones to cover her ears. A bit more than a quarter of a century later she is known as Trick-C and she wouldn't swap her earphones and the adrenaline that she experiences when putting the player needle on vinyl records for anything in the world. To win the title “the mummy of Prlekija techno” she worked hard at the beginning of her career as she was cultivating the hills around Ljutomer with new electro sounds, and later, having moved to Maribor and then to Ljubljana her network of partners and adherents grew constantly. With her companion in life DJ Point she worked a lot in Croatia, they were among the organisers of the first techno parties, and even now Trick-C continues to foster the cultural exchange with neighbours as a soloist. At least as much as a DJ she is known as an organiser of parties in clubs, including Lipa, K4, Channel Zero, Trust, ex Fun Factory, Klub Kaos and SubSub. Urban Divas is the name of her parties and at the same time a socially engaged international campaign, within which she and her adherents wish to provide dance floors with additional female touch: "As it is always difficult for us to get opportunities for regular performances I try to gather as many good female DJ's under one roof as possible. I favour long-term cooperations as such evenings are easier to promote, yet I pay a lot of attention to less renowned girls to provide them with an opportunity that I often didn't have." Trick-C has devoted the past few years intensely to creating her own music. The same as when working behind a turntable, she doesn't pay much respect to fashion trends, but rather build her own music story, which was always fed on alternative music. She follows this music philosophy in her latest track DeTour, which is closer to pristine techno than the impersonal music matrices that have lately seduced the majority of old fighters. This recording was released officially by the Slovenian techno record label Vezotonik of international renown as an EP featuring six tracks of various authors (including Miličević,Kobaya,Veztax…) Some chosen - artist she worked with: Umek (SI), Misjah (NL), Kanzyani (SI), La Di Da (CZ), Joel Muel (SW), Veztax (SI), Kiki (HR), Mary (HR), Ian F. After spending many years clubbing and taking in a huge variety of music he decided it was time to write, produce and recreate many of the styles he knew and loved. Without tuition, he learned guitar, how to sing and most importantly how to lay down huge beats with even bigger grooves! His house music career started with Russian label, Big Hug Records, signing his vocal bouncer 'Chocolate Clouds', which was remixed by notable Russian talent (Dan Moshu, Andre Zenkoff, Jose & Minola Ribera). Follow up track, 'Minimal Life' gained huge support and airplay in Europe. Sebbers soon connected with UK House legend, Nick Hook, one of the scene's stalwarts who has been around since the early days of House. His label Jeepers! has seen Sebbers' work recognised by the likes of Graham Gold, Jay Kay, Anna Kiss, So called scum bags, Jason chance, Danny chase, Hetto and 6" 7' and Martin Sharp. This success clinched him a DJ Residency at TechNoir, Brighton and interest from radio network, Ideal Club World.2013 saw his first EP for Arch44 Music, No Time for Worrying, new tracks for Jeepers! and Remixes due later in the year. |

Godudu. | Search | Add | 7 | Black Nivea | Black Nivea (Mk. I), a bunch of decidedly dilettant noise makers, formed in mid 1989. After a handful of at times chaotic local gigs (imagine a mix of early Germs and Flipper) the original group disbanded at the end of 1991. But in 1994 Black Nivea (Mk. II) came together around the key players of Screaming Joe, Big Rolf and Haax. They went on for another 10 years this time, rarely performing in public, but self-releasing the one or other record, all of which were - rightfully? - ignored by the public. In 1996 they released a great 7´´ as Pächter der Weisheit, original Black Nivea songs translated to German lyrics. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Sheki-Dol | シェキドル | Sheki-Dol was a Japanese pop group, active from 2000 to 2002. At the time, all Hello! project acts belonged to UP-FRONT Promotion, but Sheki-Dol belonged to Green Park Music (Now called Espro (エスプロ)).They got their name from the combination of the words Akamichi Doll (赤道ドール; Equator Doll) and the phrase "Shake It", meaning girls with a hot image. The group started out as a duo with Ami Kitagami and Ibuki Ooki. They had participated in the 4th Morning Musume & Heike Michiyo Protegee Auditions (the same auditions that Matsuura Aya eventually won). They had their own radio show and performed their debut single at a Hello! project concert months before it was released as a single. They were also frequently featured in music magazines and fashion shoots. They were rumored to be "idol with contacts" as well as being rude to their fan base, resulting in fewer and fewer fans. They held a disastrous live performance where only 15 people attended. Mami Suenaga was added for the release of their second single, with Ibuki leaving shortly after (to start a modeling career under the name EVEKI) only to be replaced by Ari Sakai. They released their fourth and final single in December 2001 before disbanding in early 2002. The official reason was that one of its members needed medical attention. It was speculated, but not confirmed that Suenaga was pregnant. She later talked about this, saying she had a nervous break-down anfd anxiety attacks. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Gæoudji Sygnok | Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester | Gæoudji SYGNOK was an alias used by Danish/Faroese experimental artist Kristian Vester ([a=Goodiepal]) in collaboration with his former students and local artists [a1577809] & VJ Cancer/VJ Livstræt and old friend [a=Poul Erik Veigaard]. Hvad also operated an eponymous [l=Syg Nok] label (2008–2014), for which Goodiepal mastered most releases. Vester established the SYGNOK "band" in 2008 after expulsion from the [l447929], where he taught for four years until Mort Aux Vaches Ekstra Extra compositional game scenario and underlying "Radical Computer Music" theory were finally deemed unsuitable for the academic curriculum. In response, Gæoudjiparl declared a "Gentleman's war on the stupidity of modern computer music and media-based art" against the Royal Academy of Music in Århus. In April 2010, SYGNOK posted a YouTube clip of the Eventide H8000FW rack-mounted FX processor they stole from DIEM studios as Danegæld ("Danish debt," an ancient form of protection money paid to Vikings). In October 2010, Gæoudji SYGNOK presented [r=2513506] album. Named after Martin Lindholm's record store in Århus and pressed at his Dansk Vinyl Produktion, it was co-released by [l79184] and [l189193]. Limited to 500-1050 copies (exact quantities disputed), "Route 66 Eksperimentet" had no playable grooves, with intricate etchings covering the entire LP surface. The cover listed over 30 prominent independent labels that had previously offered Goodiepal releases. Vester finally delivered one "ultimate LP" to all of them (including labels that already went defunct, like [l=Lucky Kitchen]), even assigning "proper" catalog numbers, — without any communication or prior notice to involved companies, though. The record explicitly limited the retail price to 250 DKK ($33) on the spine, but each copy included a genuine 500 Danish Kroner bill, doubling the buyer's investment. Around 40 copies were "hacked" by DJ Hvad and VJ Cancer, who secretly replaced the money with counterfeit SYGNOK bills. The album instantly sold out with widespread publicity from tier-1 Danish press and TV. In March 2011, [l79184] released three limited-edition "add-ons," all sharing the ESC18 catalog number. The cheapest Fortsat ("Continued") edition at 19.50 DKK ($3) contained a photocopy of Kristian Vester's credit card with a PIN code; it was supposedly connected to a 7000 DKK (~$920) account. The more expensive Taget Til Ekstremerne ("Taken to the Extremes") at 78.23 DKK ($11) came with a 1000 "Romani bill," a made-up currency that's expected to have legal tender once Roma people establish the government. The most obscure Cyber Papegøjen Skudt edition at 750 DKK ($98) had signed blank checks linked to Vester's bank account with 200,000 DKK ($26,000). All three records had a hyperlink to download accompanying [a3910381] "audio responses" printed directly on the LP label. (In September 2011, Gæoudji Sygnok released a double cassette [r=3135603] with a more substantial 180-min "walkthrough"). In subsequent interviews, Vester estimated he gave away close to 752,000 DKK ($99,200) in various "Route 66 Eksperimentet" editions, going severely into debt; supposedly, the artist borrowed money from his Ukrainian friend in organized crime. The 2011 mini-documentary "SYGNOK & The War For Radical Computer Music" also claimed Goodiepal sold the "improved" Eventide H8000 device taken from DIEM to a private collector without the consent of other SYGNOK members to partially fund the release (hence the "Sygnok bill" payback). Gæoudji SYGNOK produced two "art/anti-records" for the Dutch art foundation [l=De Player] and its label [l=Drop Of Blood Records]: a 10" dubplate for "Sound as a Weapon" exhibition in February 2011, followed by [r=4833921] (2013) polystyrene lathe cut. One of the last SYGNOK artifacts dated 2016, a self-released 7" single with covers of Pol Erik's 1970s band Daizy. The inlay referred to Goodiepal's current collective involved in similar actionism, [a6749625]. |
