Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Pucho Vilar | Pucho Vilar was the younger brother of Italian singer Tony Vilar, who was the main star of the CBS Argentina label during the early 1960s. Pucho was around fifteen years old when he was offered a record deal with small-time label Junior (a record label for teenage artists). Pucho enjoyed unexpected runaway success during 1964 with twist single "Buenos Y Malos" and was offered a better deal at Microfon label, but his carreer was short-lived. He also appeared in television show "Escala Musical" and in Microfon's LP compilation, "Una ventana al Éxito" during late 1964. By late 1965 he was completely off the music industry. At the time, there is not any information about his whereabouts. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Daleian Singers | The choir was formed in 1957 by a group of choristers from Silverdale Methodist Chapel, Newcastle-under-Lyme, England. They called themselves The Daleian Singers, a name chosen to reflect the geographical connection of this North Staffordshire Male Voice Choir. In the early days, BBC Radio Stoke signed off their evening programme with a musical recording by The Daleian Singers. The Choir also features on a special BBC recording of "Songs of Praise", produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the BBC. Over the years the Daleians have built up an enviable reputation as formidable competitors in the music festival arena. Their successes include wins at Blackpool, Bournville, Buxton, Southport, Tamworth, Pontrhydfendigaid and Minsterley (3 times in successive years). Despite many festival successes, The Daleian Singers regard themselves primarily as entertainers and although much in demand locally they have given concerts as far afield as The Lake District, Cornwall, Yorkshire and Lancashire and a celebrity concert on Llandudno Pier before its demise. In addition the choir have given a number of performances in support of and raising money for local and national charities. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Amber Quills | The Amber Quills formed in 1982 in west London. The band was made up of four friends who had met at school – Neil Hughes (bass), Dave Jones (drums), Tim Blakey (guitar) and Michael Burdett (vocals and guitar). Encouraged by the interest of record companies, they spent months in rehearsal, honing their material. But when it came to recording, they didn’t complete any final mixes of the songs because they ran out of studio time. They also never performed live because Michael developed stage fright and within a year the band was no more. Michael chose a musical career that was out of the spotlight, writing TV theme tunes and music for adverts. Neil, Dave and Tim all went on to join other bands. The master tapes from their studio sessions remained in Michael’s storage unit for nearly 40 years until a flood in 2020 destroyed most of what was stored there. Although so much of Michael’s archive had gone, the loss of the Amber Quills tapes bothered him most as he’d always vowed to finish the songs. Eventually, he found a company that could dry and restore the multi-track tapes, and getting them back spurred him into action. Over the years, Michael had worked with some of the best people in the music industry. So, when he went back into the studio with the restored tapes, he got them involved. The first track to be released is Chords and Candies. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Philip Challis | The pianist Philip Challis [1929-1996] born in Huddersfield, the Yorkshire town world famous for its magnificent Choral Society, was able to read at sight at age 4 and quickly progressed, at first with local teacher Frederick Greenwood. In 1948 he took over at short notice in a concert when the soloist Colin Horsley became ill. Challis was a student of Iso Elinson at the Royal Manchester College of Music, then went on to study with Herbert Fryer (1877-1957) who had attended Busoni's classes. Fryer was an excellent pianist and teacher - among his students were Constant Lambert, Cyril Smith, Kendall Taylor, George Malcolm, Lance Dossor. Later Challis studied with Ilona Kabos (1892-1973), wife of Louis Kentner. Her musical studies were made at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. She taught many pianists who achieved eminence (Howard Shelley, Janos Solyom, Varella-Cid, Peter Frankl etc) in England then at the Juilliard School. Challis, a pianist who excelled in the big virtuoso works of Ravel, Liszt, Scriabin and Bartok, performed widely in UK and Europe, made very many BBC broadcasts, featured in a number of Henry Wood Promenade Concerts, in solo recitals and with orchestras. He was also a successful teacher in Worthing and London but died in mid-career before reaching the age of seventy. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | No Whales | András Tóth | "No whales" is an independent solo project by András Tóth (Andre Freego) from Budapest, Hungary. Started back in 2007, under the name "André" when he was fooling around with Virtual DJ on his grandma's computer. In 2011, he discovered the band Sonic Youth and was fascinated by the awesome effects they used and sounds they produced. After purchasing a Flanger Hoax, he decided to experiment with the pedal's noise making capabilities, mixing it with some basic guitar playing. 2013 brought an external sound card to the home studio, thus elevating the quality of recording methods. The same year he released his debut album "English Garden" under the now used "No Whales" project name, which summarized his musicianship starting from the very early recordings to actual arranged songs. 2 years later with several hiatuses, style changes and life experiences gained, he continued his evolutionary journey by experimenting with more electronic genres while still retaining some of the guitar playing in his EP "Lounge Act", that was mainly inspired by events of his time spent in Tokyo, Japan. In 2016 on his 25th birthday, Andre Freego released his second LP, "The Waiting Room" with the support of fellow friends from independent label Pluto Sound. Featuring more ambient tones and instrumental sections than ever before. After a short hiatus and focusing on other projects (Pixel Cranes to name one) to commemorate his 10th year anniversary of making music and 5th of releasing his first album, Andre released his third full length titled "Memory Lane 5". The album summarizes the last 5 years of his musicianship by re-working some previously released songs, but also incorporating unreleased b-sides with guest musicians. |
